    After contacting them, I found out that I needed a new water heater from Ryan, who spent a lot of time guiding me through steps to allow me to postpone services til a weekday, rather than have the emergency weekend rates. Much appreciated. Bright and early on Monday, Rico arrived to make sure of the model I wanted and needed. Quick return and efficient installation from Rico who was prompt, professional, and personable. He took the time to explain everything. Ive used Stahl for decades, have been very pleased and will certainly use again.

    I was so impressed today by Stahl and my plumber Corey. My anxiety and worry was so high bc my boiler wasnt working and its the dead of winter but he was so honest about everything! He explained what he was doing as he troubleshot my issues and he worked very quickly, knowing they charge by the hour. I thought for sure I was going to pay so much but he was fast, efficient, kind and knowledgeable. He got everything working and I think he really deserves a shout out for treating me so well.     Today we had Tyler come out to disconnect our old washer and dryer that the Lowes delivery guys wouldnt. He was on time, courteous, professional and he even took time to say hi to our dog who loved him as well! We had used Stahl a few times this year with needed upgrades like a new furnace, gas lines, and our drains snaked. They have been wonderful every time. 10/10 highly recommended!

    Wonderful service at VERY reasonable rates! Contacted Stahl late at night with a main line clog, and they contacted me back immediately and had a team out first thing in the morning. Rico and Jim were awesome and helped us understand our root issue better. Will absolutely use them again for any future work.     Rick and Pat came to my home on 12/8 and 12/9, an emergency call for a busted hot water tank, flooded the basement. These two guys were excellent, kind and caring and got the job done! they replaced the tank and added an expansion. I appreciate and applaud you! Keep up the good work.

    I had a clogged sewer line that was backing up in my basement that occurred over the weekend, I had called a few plumbing companies for assistance but was told that they didnt service my particular area or that they would call me back and never heard from them since. Thats when I called Stahl plumbing early Monday morning and made an appointment, and even though the intake person told me that they were extremely busy that she would schedule me for same day service if at all possible. Within a few hours I received a call that they were on their way. Upon arrival the two plumbers (Rick and Pat), sized up the situation, explained exactly what was the problem and initiated the process to get the job done in a timely and professional manner, with a reasonable price. These two guys are the best, they are not only informative, but pleasant to associate with, I would recommend them highly for any job that has to be done in ones home wether large or small. I will be calling Stahl plumbing for any problems that I may have in the future thats for sure.

    Michael was technician today and was super-efficient and did a really nice job replacing a bathroom sink as well as two tub spouts. Also was able to discuss another ongoing problem and seemed very knowledgeable about possible causes and solutions. Would definitely recommend!

    I need to comment on how great they did! We had our shower and kitchen updated. Both Joey and Kenny were respectful and efficient. We have a new baby and they went above and beyond to keep doors closed due to loud noises of the drills and saws. They took time to explain things so we were up to speed on everything. 10/10 would recommend!

    Called STAHLs emergency line at 3am due to my furnace losing heat during a stretch of bitter cold weather. They sent a tech, Mike U., out to address the problem within 8hrs of my initial call.Mike U. was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and able to quickly diagnose the issue with my furnace. Like magic, he har my furnace running in less than 1hr of arriving. Mike also recommended some replacement parts to prevent the issue from occurring again and provided useful insight on preventative maintenance for my furnace.Would highly recommend STAHL and Mike U if you find yourself in an emergency!Edit: Forgot to add, the pricing was completely reasonable and only cost about $200 for them to come out on short notice, diagnose the problem, and fix it, during the weekend!

    This was the 2nd time we’ve had a furnace service from Stahl, and again we’re thankful!Maurice came over today to do a routine furnace check service. He was so friendly and knowledgeable.     Rick and Quinton were amazing! My hot water has been broken in my kitchen for a few weeks. A different plumber already attempted to fix it and it was not a successful fix .     Ryan and Jim were outstanding service technicians that helped with a backed up sewer at not only my grandfather’s home but his rental attached to his home.     Wonderful experience! Michael arrived on time, and proceeded meticulously to install a new garbage disposal, and a far better hose bib.     The water connection to my house broke. I had no water and the pipe had to be replaced. The old pipe followed a convoluted path and had to be abandoned. Ryan and his team had to dig a trench eight feet deep and twenty feet long. They had to punch through more dirt and the basement wall. Finally, there is a five foot high one foot thick poured concrete wall that also extends three feet under the sidewalk. They had to dig under this wall. And, of course, they had to connect the street valve into the house plumbing in a different location than the old pipe. Then they spent a week digging and plumbing then two days putting the dirt back in the hole and cleaning up. They did a wonderful job. They cleaned up all the time. I was very pleased.

    The interior of one of the handles for our shower broke this morning, making it so we couldnt turn the water off, and couldnt find the shutoff valve. Michael was over at our place in an hour, got things sorted, and opened it up for diagnosis. Despite dealing with a bunch of odd construction decisions that were made in our old house, he managed to do the job quickly and professionally, giving us options and replacing a few of our old pipes with a much more modern structure. Pressures a little low, but the showers running like a dream, no more leaks or wrist-crushing effort to close the valves!

    Called Gillece took 2 days to get someone and when they finally came the estimate was 2900$ Technician said it was low voltage wire when it was a simple switch for 65$ and totalwas 210$.     Recently had my AC replaced by Stahl. They were able to come out quickly for a thorough estimate. I got quotes from multiple companies and while not the lowest bid, Stahl was right in line with others. I went with Stahl based on the prompt, thorough, and honest estimate, short lead time to install, and recommendations from others.The two guys who did the install were professional, informative, and were able to get it all sorted in a day. The install looks very clean and they improved my drain line from the existing setup.     Stahl Plumbing is the best! This was the first time using them at my house, but have had repairs done by them at my mother’s house several times.     I contacted Stahl Plumbing after my HVAC died and the person who installed it failed to return phone calls for a week. Stahl was quick in getting someone out (1.5 days).No one ever wants to be without A/C during a heat wave, and everyone who can do repairs is super busy. Given this, I really appreciated the speed of the response from Stahl. After 2 days, it was obvious that there was a leak in the microcoils. They told me the options, and once I decided, they scheduled a replacement as soon as they could. I received a quote in advance (paying 50% up front and the rest upon completion). No one wants an expensive surprise, but when it happens, you want to be working with reliable people.The people at Stahl were prompt and courteous, and the technical folks (Mike, Tyree, Corey, and Ashton) were respectful of the disruption to the house as they replaced the system. They also took away the old system so there were no bad surprises with freon disposal. They registered the installments so there wont be any warranty issues in the future.Overall, the Stahl people were transparent and they did a professional job.

    We got a new refrigerator and the waterline valve which was older was stripped and broken. We needed a plumber right away. The next day Stahl was the hero!! The job took 3 days but probably would have been done quicker if we werent stuck waiting on Allegheny County for inspection. The job site was left clean and repaired concrete looks great.     Recent very cold weather caused a hot water leak under an extension to our house. It looked like we might even have to rip up a large part of the flooring to repair it.     Rico Payne came out to check out my sewage pipe with a camera to figure out why it kept backing up.     I woke up yesterday morning feeling like I slept in a freezer. I checked my thermostat, and it was reading 67 degrees, house temperature. I had my thermostat set at 78. He was at my house at 8:30. He had found the problem before 9:30. He had to leave and get the part in Greentree and drop off a hotwater tank on the Northside and back at my house at 11:00 and finished by 11:15. I must say, TYREE was very professional, efficient, and knowledgeable. TYREE is a valuable asset to Stahl. His work ethic makes you want to put Stahl’s phone number on speed dial.     Weve been dealing with a national plumbing chain over the past few months. We paid them to replace a belly in a pipe in our basement (Im certain this was needed). We had a second backup and they wanted us to replace a 25 length of pipe, which would have required jackhammering out our basement floor.When I asked them whether they could just clear it, they told me it wasnt possible with cast iron. Thats nuts.I had the local Stahl folks out (and I wish I knew the name of the plumber that was here) and they saved me a good $7000. They were able to pressure jet out the entire run of pipe and restore it to almost new appearance. They even fixed a leaky faucet thats been bothering me for years just because they were here.Great folks. Ill continue to go with them.

    We just had a great experience with these plumbers. We ended up having to have our whole yard dug up to replace the water line from the street to the house. The men who did the work were quick, careful, and nice. They even helped me empty the mesh filter on our bathroom sink when it got filled with dirt (because when they replaced the line some dirt naturally gets in). They had to pour cement in our basement and it looks great. We actually had to leave town before the work was done and returned to it looking great.     On one of the coldest nights of the year, my furnace went out. The blower motor was making a weird noise and then shutting down. I called Stahl after normal business hours and left a message with their answering service. Got a call back about 30-minutes later. The woman on the phone was very up front about their after-hours labor rate and offered me the option to wait until normal business hours, but said that if it was an emergency she could have someone out within a couple of hours. Since overnight temps were going to hit single digits, I decided it would be best to take care of the problem right away.About an hour later, the tech called to let me know that he was on his way. He was very friendly and personable, and clearly explained everything that he was doing with the furnace. He had the needed part on his truck and was able to get everything fixed in under an hour. For an after-hours, last-minute appointment I thought the total cost was very reasonable.
