Aussie Plumbing is a local company with its main offices across from my chiropractor’s office near Tatum and Shea. I prefer local companies and I have seen their vans in the Shea and 32nd Street areas. So when my kitchen sink got plugged I called them.Tristan Reeves, their plumber arrived promptly with a smile on his face and a sunny disposition. We chatted as he diagnosed and made recommendations. I was impressed by his knowledge of plumbing. He was always kind and respectful.We discussed pricing and he offered me a senior discount. I approved the service and he completed it. The price was very reasonableand I never felt pressured. The sink drain was repaired to my full satisfaction.Tristan is a delightful young man and Aussie Plumbing gets five stars. Highly recommend.

He seamlessly removed five existing toilets and installed five smart toilets. Joe Lopez arrived to fix leaky faucet. Faucet was put in by Aussie Plumber a little over 2 years ago. Joe asked me if we had a warranty on the present faucet, I said no. My girlfriend who works close by said she would run to Costco to get a new replacement one. I asked Joe if he could wait and he said yes not a problem. He replaced the faucet and made sure it didnt leak by letting the water run for awhile. Joe was very informative and pleasant to deal with during the entire process. It was very obvious that either Joe is trained well, or really knew what he was doing. Seems to be the case with every repairman that arrives from this company. Love the Aussie Plumber and believe me when I say this we have used this company many, many times in the last three years, and will again. Anyone who has heard that this company may cost more than others that may be , but if you want quality service you pay for what you receive. Thank you Joe for excellent service.

We called The Aussie Plumber for a new toilet install which we attempted to do ourselves. We do not have a regular plumber so when I thought about who to call I just figured Id call the nearby business owner. We see his work van all the time because we live nearby. The intake call went very easy and we would have a plumber out the next day. They charge a small fee for their time which they wave if they end up completing the work. When they are about a half hour away from you they will call to let you know. They also send a text with the name of the person who will be helping and a little bit about their skillset. The first time we had Dago. They let us know that Dago is knows a lot about hot water heaters, and he is a Veteran and that they are thankful for his service. The second time they sent out Cameron and Joe. They sent a photo of Cameron, told us a little about his family, and told us he loves to solder pipes. I really feel that these little things make a huge difference because you know a little bit about who is going to walk through your door. I have two small children. It helps to know that these people are going to be comfortable around my children. In fact all three of these men had toddlers and were happy to interact with mine and tell me about their kids or that they were expecting their first child soon.Heres why we needed to see so many people: The first time we had Dago out we were actually changing our own toilet ourself. We got all the way to the flange. Meaning we did the whole nasty toilet removal already. Our old wax ring had busted and moved entirely out of place. We were unable to get the old bolts out and move them and were quite puzzled by our inset cast iron flange that did not match the diagram on our new toilet. We thought we needed to change out the flange. Dago came and explained that we were super close and got us sorted and we opted to continue to do the install on our own, because we had put so much labor in to it already. He did some education with us about our hot water heater, which we really have not been keeping up properly. He showed us how to check the age on the hot water heater and now we know when to plan for the next one (which we will definitely call these guys for). He discussed our water pressure with us and also tested our ppm on our RO.Back to the toilet. We were changing it to a one piece bidet thing and when it came time to change the water inlet thing we could not get the water inlet adapter on properly and it also turned out to be in exactly the wrong spot. Now that the base of the toilet was so much wider the water line coming from the wall was in the exact wrong spot so the whole line needed to be moved, which is why they sent an expert *who loves to solder copper*.Some things that I appreciate: I explained the issue when they walked in but they also wanted an explanation at the site so that things were very clear. It was helpful for them to know which piece of it had the water spraying out when we turned the water back on to the house. I also appreciate it that they made it very clear that they would be cutting in to the wall. They didnt make huge obnoxious cuts, but Joe was clear before they did the work so that I was not surprised. They let me know their estimation of how wet the wall/baseboard was from our work. Joe was also clear that my toilet needed power for some of the functions, but we do not have an outlet near it (which we knew). Their work is very tidy. They wear the booty things on their shoes. They were also all just extremely kind. One other thing that people might not notice unless they need just like, a bunch of plumbers to come from one company in a few days, is that the company clearly follows diverse hiring practices and that is important to us as consumers. In all, a lot of little things added up to great things.Our second toilet is having the same problem as the first (broken wax ring) so we will probably be calling them for that one too.

UPDATE:The owner called me immediately to rectify the issue and had someone come out the next day. The gentleman that came to fix the issue was very professional and thorough. Aussie had exceptional customer service (some of the best we’ve experienced in the home repairs industry) and we will continue to use them going forward for our plumbing needs.Prior review:I would give zero stars if I could. We hired Aussie in Feb 2024 to install new piping under our kitchen sink, reattach the garbage disposal and install the faucet and they charged us $1,200.Given the high price tag, I would have expected a very professional job. Fast forward to today, December 2024 (10 months later), I found leaking under my sink from our main water line pipe to the new piping Aussie installed, and the pipe attached to the garbage disposal just slipped right off the disposal! The pipe wasn’t even secured to the garbage disposal (see photo - pipe just slipped right off and is now disconnected).I called Aussie because my sink is out of commission, and they told me I would have to pay for a house visit to look at the piping and the tech will determine if the piping was installed incorrectly. No one has touched the piping since Aussie did the install, and both pipes (the one attached to the main water line and the other to the disposal) literally slipped right off / detached. I’m no plumber, but I know one thing for sure, this was not a professional job.

He did and a hot/cold/on/off mixing valve was replaced from the sheet rock wall behind. Hot and cold water gushed out on demand. No mess, No fuss. No leaks. He was wonderful. My plumber, Eddie Flores, was incredibly friendly, personable, knowledgeable, prompt, and communicative. While working, Eddie was sure to have booties covering his shoes, and he used a vacuum and drop-cloths and wipes to clean all the areas where he worked. Amazing! Tristin Reeves and the entire company is incredible. I can see why they have 499 reviews on google at 5.0 stars. Ive frankly never seen a company with that high of ratings but I see why now. Tristin came out to the home incredibly quick for a water softener install. He explained the entire system to me and quoted me on the spot without pressure to proceed. Didnt try to upsell me on anything, just provided the service I wanted. Spent 4 hours into the evening at the house getting everything set up perfectly and educated me on the way, even gave me tips on maintaining other small plumbing things around my house. At the end of the job I had a water softener programmed to the exact needs of the home and he even grabbed salt for me to fill it. I also feel the price was very fair considering most of the plumbers I called previously either stopped responding, wouldnt take the job, or would upsell me to products/services going into the multiple thousands. Tristins work saved me a ton of money avoiding those other tactics.

They are just really fair, honest people that act with integrity.

This company is salt of the earth honest. I had a problem with not having any hot water. They tested the water heater and it was obviously not working. We installed a new one. Still did not work. It was determined that it was an electrical problem in my home and I was able to get it fixed by an electrician. I called Aussie Plumber and asked if, since I ended up purchasing a new hot water heater that I may not have needed, if they could at least just give it to me at their cost. They went FAR AND ABOVE that. They refunded the entire amount...I could not believe it. Never hesitate to use this company. This was my 2nd experience with them. The last one was just as good.

I would recommend this plumber. Mark was able to replace my water heater the same day I called. Bonus points for that! He kept me informed at every step—estimated cost, times when the water to the house needed to be turned off, etc. He was polite and left the area at least as clean as it was when he arrived (maybe cleaner) . He was also more than conscientious about me living and working in the house as he did his work. The services were not cheap—but I felt comfortable and well informed. Cameron and Tyler came out to our little condo that had an issue before we bought the place 5 years ago. We had a small occasional leak from our upstairs tub that was so small it was barely an issue until it was. They cut a small piece of drywall out that was ruined from the leak, identified the problem super quickly and were able to fix it in a short amount of time. The Aussie Plumber team, especially Eddie, are amazing! The shower handle and cartridge broke last night. We shut the water off and used Google’s booking system to book with the plumber with earliest availability with good reviews: The Aussie Plumber. I called their dispatcher at 6am to make sure the plumber would come with all tools necessary and not need to come back. Our water was off and we have two small kids - I needed it fixed today, right this minute. The dispatcher couldn’t find my booking in the system at all but she was very patient and got me in and was even able to schedule my home for the same time block. Eddie called and gave a 30 minute heads up. I asked if we could delay because I discovered a nail in my tire this morning. He was so kind and accommodating about it! Eddie arrived, listened carefully as I explained what happened, and took a look. He immediately expressed concerns about the age of the valve he would be working with but said he would do his best with what was already there. He worked for over an hour and a half trying to replace the cartridge and make small repairs to the valve and connecting pipes, which was the least expensive option. When that ultimately didnt work, due to no fault of Eddie’s, he told me exactly what I needed to get at the store. He waited patiently in the van and immediately got to work as soon as I returned. He worked tirelessly for 6 hours to repair and replace the valve. The whole time Eddie was at my home, he was polite and professional and made sure I understood everything that he needed to do. I will definitely call The Aussie Plumber again and ask for Eddie!

I really appreciate how timely and communicative they were. I was able to get an appointment very soon after calling them for the first time. They also kept me updated with a reminder the day before, information about who my technician would be, their expected arrival, and they gave me a confirmation call when he was heading over. This was our first time using The Aussie Plumber company and we were totally blown away! We have been burned several times with other companies but we were very impressed with The Aussie Plumber!This job was more complicated then we had anticipated but Franz’s expertise and experience put us at ease. Our plumbing and pipes are original to the home and were in bad shape. Franz was able to replace the lines despite them being in a difficult position with no problem! He replaced our master shower handles with a new more updated look. He replaced the old two handle style, with an updated single handle. He also replaced our outdated tub trim with new modern trim totally changing the look of our bathroom! He took great pride in his craftsmanship and he was very patient in answering all our questions. Franz was eager to explain each step he took to fix our problems which made the issues we were having with our plumbing seem less intimidating. James, the owner of Aussie Plumber even took time out of his day to lend a helping hand! We definitely will be using The Aussie plumber and Franz for future projects and we would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for an honest, knowledgeable plumbing company!

What could have been an exasperating and VERY expensive experience was saved by the kind, professional, friendly and diligent staff of Aussie Plumbers. The very personable Katie got us scheduled within the hour on a Friday morning. Louis arrived for what I thought would be a simple slow kitchen drain clearance, but turned out to be the Godzilla of clogs. Apparently, my 55 yr old house had been accumulating a monster in the pipes that a basic drain snake could not defeat. A jackhammer was employed, as Louis had to dig into the cement foundation. Even James, the boss, came to help. They gave me the bad news that they expected to have to tear up the foundation of nearly the entire length of the house to replace the pipe, a solution that would have cost 10s of thousands of $$$ tearing out cabinets and flooring, and involving my insurance company. By this time 6 hrs had passed, it was 5pm and they had a Hail Mary idea. The next morning, Saturday, Louis returned with Eddie, he of the Drain Wizards clan. Using a water jet snake and a lot of muscle they worked at that blockage until, EUREKA! They got through! They continued diligently until that pipe was completely clear. Then they cheerfully cleaned up and I was back in business. I could see that these men, Louis, Eddie and James, felt bad about the situation at my house, though it was no fault of theirs. Still, they strived to find me a more cost effective, less invasive solution and gave up their Saturday day off to help us out. A very friendly, conscientious bunch of guys. Yes, it was more costly than initially expected, but thanks to their customer service attitude it cost WAY less than it could have.
