Last week we discovered a slab leak in our 46 year old house in Fountain Hills coming from a hot water line in our laundry room. The next morning our local plumber was able to figure out the general vicinity of the leak but told us he didnt do leak detection or re-pipe. He unfortunately didnt have any recommendations for someone who could do the work, either. So I hopped online and did a mad search for a plumber that did both and had a respectable review rating. The majority of plumbing options in our community did not inspire confidence when I looked at their ratings and reviews, so I did a search for best plumber for a broader area and found Simons Plumbing. He has nearly 500 reviews on Google and a 5-star rating and that was enough for me to call him. A company he contracts with does leak detection (Phoenix Leak Detection, I reviewed him separately) and PLD was able to come out the next day (Friday). Simon came by on Saturday morning to look at the re-pipe work that needed to be done and I had a fair work estimate from him a few hours later. Simon got us right as rain Tuesday (yesterday)! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Simon and they include the following: He is very responsive and an excellent communicator. He is PUNCTUAL! If he says he will show up at a certain time, he literally, shows up ON.THE.DOT of the time he said he would. This is a big deal in my book. He is meticulously groomed (I have to add, his cologne smells wonderful yet is not overpowering!) and its no surprise that he takes the same level of pride in his work. He and his lovely wife (whom he told me helps him out on certain jobs) did an excellent job prepping the work area as well as removing and disposed of all the debris (dry wall, et al) that came about on job, often tidying up as their work progressed. Again, my husband and I were so pleased with Simons professionalism, responsiveness and the quality of his work - we highly recommend him! Im also thrilled to be able to add my own 5-star review to his business listing on Google and to post on NextDoor, too. :)

Simon’s Plumbing exceeded our expectations! When we had a pipe burst in our front yard, they came out urgently—on a holiday, even—and solved the problem. Simon was professional, thorough, and ensured everything was fixed properly. He was also incredibly friendly and easy to work with, making a stressful situation much easier. If I could leave a 10 star I would. Look at all his other reviews too and you can TRUST that this plumber is the real deal. I had a major leak in my front yard that was pouring down the street. It was a Friday night and I was told by the city that it was leaking a quart per minute and had been for some time. I was panicked. Simon answered and could hear my desperation. He hadnt even been home yet and agreed to come help. He didnt even leave a mess! He is beyond professional, kind, hard working and above all honest. And, looking into others ...the most fairly, well priced. I called him my plumbing angel 😇. I wont use anyone else. Hugs and huge thanks, Simon !!

If you live in Phoenix, Arizona, and need a reliable plumber, you need to know Simon, a young man who will go far above and beyond to fix your plumbing issues. Simon is not just another plumbing guy; he is the one you can count on for any occasion.Before hiring Simon, I already hired a couple of contractors who work for big chain plumbing companies to fix my shower valve water humming problems. Neither of them fixed my water-hamming issues, but they all charged an arm and leg for a visit; one even drilled a big hole in my shower wall, and I had to patch it on my own. I was so frustrated and about to give up on it.One day, my kitchen sink got clogged, and I found Simon’s service on Google based on his pristine five stars reviews, and it was the best decision I ever made this year. Simon came in and fixed the kitchen sink in no time, and I requested him to look at my shower pipe water humming issue. Simon did not drill any holes in my wall. Instead, he was very professional and examined every inch of the cartridge and valve. He quickly addressed the root cause and pointed out that it was the missing aftermarket check valve causing the water humming, and he went to many hardware stores and never gave it up. He tried all the possible ones on the market, and neither of those check valves works. In the end, I was going to give up, but Simon did not; he engineered a way that customized the shower cartridge and check valves, and he made it.I am so happy about the outcome of Simon’s service, not only because he knows his job but also because he never gives up on his project. More importantly, he charges very reasonably for his service. So, every penny you spend is well worth it. I’d recommend Simon to everyone, and you won’t regret it.

We were doing a bathroom remodel that converted a walk-in shower to a bathtub/shower on a third floor apartment-style condo. The plumber that was going to install our tub bailed on us and we were in a bind. We needed a plumber to install the bathtub before the flooring could be installed, which was less than a week away. We contacted several plumbers on a Saturday, and Simon was one of the two who agreed to come out and look at the project and give us a bid that same day. Simon was the first to look at our space. He was very professional and explained to us even better than the previous plumber exactly what the process would entail. He was very knowledgeable, having experience with both commercial and residential plumbing issues. He said he could get us on his schedule, but with such short notice he would have to charge a premium, and advised us to talk to others to see if we could get a better deal. We did, and Simon was hands down the most knowledgeable and the most comfortable with doing the work. Being on the third floor of an apartment-style condo, with the possibility of leaks affecting neighbors below, was a nerve-wracking position to be in, but Simon seemed unfazed. And not in an arrogant, over-confident way, but in the way of someone who is experienced and skilled at their job. We agreed to pay the premium to secure Simon for the job and we couldnt be happier with the work he did. He followed up with installing the shower fixtures a couple weeks later when the tile was completed. We have worked with several plumbers over the last couple of decades of being homeowners, and Simon and his crew were a pleasure to work with. The best weve worked with so far, in fact. We look forward to hiring them for any plumbing work we might have in the future.

I called Simon while trying to install a replacement toilet. Found the toilet flange broken and corroded. I had never replaced a flange before and thought I needed a pro. Simon came out on Black Friday morning..looked it over…googled Home Depot for the part and told me it’s an easy fix I could do it myself. Long story short I bought the part and installed the toilet without a problem. Thank you very much…PS no charge for the service call to tell me how to do it.I’ll definitely call again if I need a pro plumber.

Simon installed a brand new water heater for us with 2-days notice, as our old one had a slow leak and was about to bite the dust. Simon took the time to let me know a bit about which makes/models are of decent quality, how to research them, so I could make an informed choice. His info was accurate and we selected to have a 50 gallon Bedford White installed. Simon had me send him photos to ensure the new water heater would fit, check fittings, etc. Simon got the job done in the time he said he would and charged reasonable prices. The reviews are absolutely true. Simons Plumbing is an AMAZING company. Family owned and operated, licensed, bonded, and KNOWLEDGEABLE. Straight up, He and Alex (his brother) are now our forever Phoenix plumbing service.We had a serious pipe leak that flooded 1/5 of our house. Our insurance is covering the abatement and water mitigation and our walls were finally opened and everything dried. Ready for the plumbing work. We called Simon for a second opinion after seeing the marvelous reviews he had. We initially phoned at 8:30 pm expecting an answering machine, but he answered. He was polite, pleasant and answered all of our questions with honesty and integrity. He affirmed the price quote from our prior HWA plumber was reasonable IF that was the infact the necessary scope of the job and hed charge about the same. So we were hesitant to pay for a second assessment but he was so knowledgeable and honest and we really wanted to insure we were doing the right repairs the right way, etc, we opted for him as well as Phoenix Leak Detection to come out together for a second assessment. SO GLAD WE DID. The whole scope of repair changed, resolving the initial concern, actually finding another issue on a second manifold, verified by both, repaired it all still cutting our cost nearly in half even with the additional sonar.We definitely had pipe issues but the first plumber wanted to dig into our slab at a much considerably increased cost with no guarantee of being able to make the repair at the original estimated amount. Rhonda with Phoenix Leak Detection and Simon, identified that was not necessary, they sound and sonared, ran a pipe cable and determined it was not a break in the actual main as previously thought but a pipe that was fed off a second manifold and they could just reroute a pipe. Apparently, the previous owner had some remodeling done and the original plumbing was altered.We were without water, not kidding, for 2 months, showering at the gym, used paper utensils and heating water we got from neighbors on the stove to do dishes and ordinary household stuff, and using buckets of water from our pool to flush the toilet. After understanding our delemna he prioritized us, came out first thing the next morning, did a temporary cap off which gave us water to half the house immediately and came back 2 hours later with Alex to fix the pipes permanently.Mind yall our insurance has also been awesome and offered us to stay in a hotel, but we work from home and have several pets and it just would have been as much if not more stress, so we opted for what we felt was the least, but being without water for two months sucked. Had we had Simon first, we would not have had to go through so much, as he would have been able to do the temporary cap off fix right away. Which the other plumber said could not be done because they did not as thoroughly trouble shoot and thought the water was being fed from the other manifold.The work looks extremely well done. We are running several items to be sure all is good. So far all seems excellent and we would HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND Simons Plumbing to everyone we know. 🚠

Simon is a crackerjack plumber, and hes super-responsive. In classic fashion, both my water heater and my garbage disposal sprang leaks on the same Monday morning. I found Simon on Google. I called and he and his partner showed up at my house about an hour later. They had the water heater and the garbage disposal replaced by the end of the day. I was so impressed, I even had Simon replace and upgrade the main water faucet serving the house, which was badly out of date and caked with limescale. A couple of weeks later, when my neighbors water-softening system started acting up over a holiday weekend, I referred my neighbor to Simon and he zoomed over on his day off to quickly deal with the problem. Great guy!

I contacted Simon on October 25 as I needed a shower repair. He asked me to send him a photo of the valve and he quoted me a price for the repair. Came out the next day. Communication was good, and Simon was timely. He suggested a better quality part, which would last longer. The price for the work was higher than average for the task but he was transparent about it. I would recommend Simon for your plumbing needs.

Best person to meet! We suspected some kind of leak in our front yard from either irrigation, service line, or an old fountain/pond we haven’t used in 2 years. Somehow the pond that was empty started slowly filling up with water after we kept draining it everyday. We called a pond/fountain repair company and they showed up for 10 minutes to tell us that it was probably irrigation or drip system leaking into the pond and charged me for a consultation and left. We called Simon at night after playing around with the water lines and water the meter noting we were using 1,500 gal of water per day all the sudden. He came out next day on the weekend and actually walked the property, testing water lines/watching the meter, and dug some old pond pipes that were feeding water into the pond and we shut of the valves. Unique situation that required some critical thinking and Simon figured it out 15-20 minutes after arriving. Thank you!

Simon is this best. He’s helped me twice. First time he has able to fix my hot water heater after another company told me it couldn’t be fixed and I had to replace the whole thing. Next my tenant reporting an issue with my plumbing. All that was needed was a screw to be tightened. Simon fixed that at no charge. He is honest, efficient, and I’ll definitely be using him again for any plumbing issues.

I recently had a service line break in my front yard and I had no idea what to do. Because I have used Simon in the past for a smaller issue inside I knew I was going to get quality service, but I had no idea how much help he would be. Simon was there as soon as I called to inspect what was going on and provide advice on what next steps would look like. Him and his partner came out to work in the 110 degree weather all day to make sure I could have water at my house. He helped communicate with the insurance adjuster so that everything could be processed smoothly, and his advice through the entire process was an A+++++. I would highly recommend Simon to anyone in the area that needs anything done. At this point he has helped me with something as small as a leaking sink faucet to a total trenching and replacement of my service line. His professionalism and knowledge about the trade is just the cherry on top of this incredible service. It only let me give 5 stars but if I could I would have given all 10. Simon and his brother, Alex, came out today to repair our shower valve and replace our kitchen faucet. They were prompt, and very professional. Simon showed me what was wrong with our shower valve and why he used the particular replacement part he chose. I really appreciated that. I have a better understanding of what we have and why it is worth keeping and simply repairing it (rather than replacing it). I have had another plumber in the past, but he was too busy to come out. I cant recommend Simon highly enough!I needed a bathtub faucet replaced. I called a few of the bigger chain companies for an estimate and they said theyd need to send someone over to even give me a ballpark estimate or they were booked for a week out.I called Simon and he answered. I explained what I needed and he said to text him a pic. I did and he immediately sent me back a (very reasonable) price. He was able to come later that day.One thing that impressed me was that before he entered the house, he put on booties to make sure he didnt dirty my floor. He did what needed to be done and was VERY tidy when done. Great work.He had to do another job recently and again was very prompt, responsive and respectful.Seriously if you need any plumbing work done, Simon should be your only call. He was very accommodating in coordinating his services with the installer of our countertops. There were a couple unforeseen issues but Simon didnt miss a beat. I recently renovated my condo and changed every faucet in the place. Upon completion of everything I realized my hot water was not working correctly. I called a few plumbers and explained what was happening. Some right away just assumed I needed a new water heater. Simon was my 3rd call to a plumber. Unplugged something and got my hot water to work properly. This was our second time using Simoms Plumbing and we were once again very pleased with the work performed. On both occasions we called Simon on a Sunday. He answered his phone and was quick to respond. He assessed the situation and jumped right in to solving the problem. EDIT: Two weeks later, we started having issues once again. We decided to do a full camera inspection and immediately found the problem. Our original sewer line was apparently repaired at some point, yet done incorrectly at one of the joints and down-angles. Once excavation began, we also found a large section of older pipe closer to the city line that had collapsed. We were under a very tight timeline to have the work completed and Simon assured us it would be done on time. Simon and his team were not only professional, they also met the aggressive timeline and completely exceeded our expectations with the finished product in the excavation area. I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Simon and his brother Alex. They were absolutely professional and courteous the entire time they were working on our plumbing re-route, moving our hot and cold lines from the slab to our attic (in AUGUST). We found Simon through his 5 star reviews on both Google and Yelp, and when we called, he was at our house the same day. He made himself available every step of the way - volunteering to come out at the same time as the leak detection company so he could share information with them, to walking us through what our available solutions were. I really respect when a specialist takes the time to explain their work to you (no one likes feeling condescended to or taken advantage of), and Simon very respectfully explained everything he did. At each step of his work, he showed us what he had done, and took every opportunity to improve the existing imperfections in our plumbing he noticed while working, (for example, turning the new drainage line at a better angle so the cleanout could be easily accessed behind a closet wall instead of needing to remove our entire toilet). He also noticed our water pressure was really low, so fixed that for us too. Both Simon and Alex took absolute care protecting our floors and possesions while they worked - you can tell they truly care about doing a good job and doing whats best for your house. I live in a condo that has antiquated plumbing thats in the process of being replaced but it hasnt happened yet. Oh my gosh, I had a major battle with the toilet and the plunger and the toilet won! I had to use every towel I own to soak up the water.Simon came fast...and he let me watch what he was doing. I like to learn things that I might be able to do myself. In this case, I dont think I would have had the physical strength to snake the toilet.Very nice, friendly and polite guy...he worked fast. Really. happy with Simons Plumbing.

He was professional and courteous...although the matter at first looked more serious it was ultimately a trivial matter and he was able to confirm everything was operating correctly.As we all do...I hope to not need a plumber again...lolHowever, if I do, I will be calling Simon again!

If you want the job done right the first time, Simon is your man! He was able to properly assess and fix my plumbing problems after explaining my options regarding the cost effectiveness of replacing parts in a Jacuzzi tub spigot or replacing the entire spigot. Additionally, when he had to shut off water at the main line, he noted a serious leak in a pipe feeding my outdoor irrigation system. He explained my options and with my permission came back that night to upgrade and fixed this problem.

Simon Plumbing came out to our rental property, assessed the issue and came up with a plan to get a very tough drain issue figured out. Two other valley plumbers were not able to isolate the problem and left it unfixed. Simons group came out and spent time to understand the problem, identify the trouble areas, and come up with a timely solution to get us back up and running. The work was completed quickly and they were very good with communicating the fix and taking care of things. 10/10 would recommendn and we will be using them again for future plumbing needs.Simon helped me successfully on another job. Helped me understand and work through my issue. Definitely my go-to plumber!

Have to say thank you to Simon here for doing an amazing job! He did more then was required. I had 3 other plumbers come in and put band aids on the situation. Not only did he fix their mess but replaced the entire pipe. He is super professional, and gets back to you right away if there is a problem. Will call him again in the future!

I have to share my experience with both Simon and Alex. They are knowledgeable caring and show up fast! They want to help I only have 1 bathroom in my house and within 40 min of calling Simon was knocking on my front door it was after 6:30 pm. I had gotten their number from a friend of mine who recommended they ad said they are the one plumbing company they will ever use. I had called Christian Brothers and they are terrible they charged me and didn’t want to help at all they said they couldn’t get on the roof… and told me that’s what I needed to do!Thank goodness for Simon I called him soon as Christian Brothers left me hanging and he came out got on my roof and fixed the problem like that! You will be so pleased with them for ALL you plumbing needs.

I called Simon fairly early in the morning, he answered the phone himself and said he could stop by later in the afternoon. Super honest and professional, got the job done in exactly the amount of time he said it would be done.

Simon was able to remove a calcified bonnet nut on a shower valve that I could not break free. His skill and experience was obvious. He spent several minutes slowly working the nut until it eventually released. He saved me a much bigger expense by not having to break out tile and replace the entire valve. I also had him replace my houses main water supply gate valve with a ball valve. Excellent work.

I called Simons plumbing today, they showed up a few hours later, texting me 20 minutes prior to showing up, they were polite and professional and they unclogged my drain and educated me on how to do it in the future. I had him give me an estimated quote over the phone and he charged me less than he quoted since it was a quick easy fix. Very reasonable, I would highly recommend this company and I will myself use them again if any need arises.

I cannot recommend Simon and his company more highly.Hes helped us with countless plumbing ordeals that have come up over the past couple of years. Hes helped us make the choice to NOT yet replace a water heater despite its age (when it would have been easy to recommend a replacement), installed a total of four new toilets for us, replaced a hose spigot on the side of our house (broken by surprise when it was yanked too hard), replaced a water shutoff to our washing machine (rusted over, so it broke when the washer was moved), and then replaced SEVENTEEN more water shutoffs in the rest of the house after a few more turned out to be rusted over and easily broken. He also REinstalled three toilets after floor installers didnt properly do so after temporarily removing them, and finally replaced a water heater (not the one he recommended we keep - that one is still kicking). Hes responsive, reliable, trustworthy, and reasonably priced.He obviously remains our #1 choice for all things plumbing - highly, highly recommend his company!
