We came home to find that our water had stopped working completely. I called B & B after hours and a tech called me within 30 minutes. We have a “pond water” system which is rather unusual. The B & B tech walked me through troubleshooting and I fixed our system through the kindness of B & B. I will be back when I have any plumbing issue.

I have never had a problem with the actual plumbing work of this company, but their administration has been very concerning. I have had two recent jobs done for me in the last few months. In the first, two extremely young and inexperienced plumbers were sent to install a faucet and garbage disposal. The head plumber had never worked with a quartz sink. I had to explain that the wire holding up the sink could be loosened for the work and then re-tightened afterwards. I was charged $280 for two hours of labor. The second plumber appeared to be training and did not assist the primary plumber. I was not informed in advanced that I would be paying double labor (and Im not sure that I did. They treated the installation like it was a set price, but now after my second experience I am wondering how that price was calculated). I was also charged a five dollar fuel charge though I live a few miles from the office. Perhaps this is a standard fee for all customers but it feels unusual since I live in town. In the second experience, I got an estimate directly from the plumber. Verbally he said since I already had the parts he needed it would just be the cost of labor ($70/hour). Then I was charged $224 for one hour and twenty minutes of labor. When I inquired at the office the woman who answered the phone said she did not have an itemized order in front of her and had the plumber call. I find it very unusual that the office administration charges customers without seeing itemized breakdowns of bills from plumbers. I recognize that I made some errors in this process but I would strongly recommend getting an itemized estimate in advance and asking substantial questions about each line item. Something doesnt seem right here. Since they charge for a full hour even if they only work for a small portion of that hour I would recommend timing them, noticing when they arrive, and giving them additional jobs to fill the full hour since you will be paying for it.Update. I spoke with the company. They gave me $20 off due to the misunderstanding. They said they are billing by the job (T-Task) and that the rate for most jobs is $180 plus a $60 fee for a service call. There is a %15 discount if you are part of their service plan which is $99 for the year AC or furnace or $183 for both. They will provide itemized estimates when requested and they added a note to my file to always provide one.

Its been a couple of months now since B&B worked on 2 jobs for me, and lifes been kind of hectic, but I did want post about my experiences with B&B. My first experience was with a hot water heater tank that went bad. Ive worked with Mason before on previous repair work and as before, he was very professional, as was the guy who was helping him, Jarrod. They both replaced the water heater in a very timely manner, and I was very pleased with their work. A few weeks later, there was a drainage issue with the south end of my house and Mason and Gage quickly found the issue and fixed it, once again, in a very professional way. Also very helpful was the lady who took my initial calls and followed-up to make things work. Thanks Mason, Jarrod, Gage and B&B for the great work.

B&B came to our house after our heater stopped working. They were prompt and polite. They quickly assessed that our cat had tripped the off switch on the heater. The kicker is, they didnt charge us for the service call or for the repair. We were very grateful (and felt pretty stupid as it was something so simple).
