Very happy with my service, called on a Friday around 130pm for my bathroom faucet that has been leaking non stop and they came the same day 3 hours after I called. Wasn’t expecting such fast service but I am highly satisfied. Both guys knew what they were doing and were very friendly and professional. These guys are the local team that make it happen. I had scheduled to have a different plumber install two new faucet kits and new knobs for my kitchen and bathroom the day my counters and sinks were installed. The guy never responded. I called ACTNOW while traveling for work this day and within an hour I had two guys at my house prepared to complete the job. Two other guys assisted the two completing the work to give them additional parts also. I had cash on me and they didn’t have change so the owner waved the $30. Outstanding work and customer service. People have busy lives with work, children etc. and to have a local business make it this easy why would you want to do business with anyone else. It’s a relief. One week later and I am loving the job that they did. No leaks and clean work. Next project my shower and I know I’ll be calling these guys!

I was referred to Act Now and the response from the owner and his team was immediate. They not only got me into their schedule but thoroughly checked what was wrong and fixed my issue same day. Called on this plumbing crew for years! Replaced our entire plumbing system and pressure tank 3 years ago I’ve used them prior at our old house for other emergencies as well as for anything that has come up at our new residence. I cant say enough good things about Ricky and his crew. I recently bought an investment property and ran into plumbing and heating issues and he went above and beyond to explain everything to me and recommend how to fix the issues. He also got on the phone with my tenants late at night to tell them how to shut the water off when a toilet overflowed. I cant say enough good things about this company. They were timely, responsive, helpful and above all they have superior customer service. I would give them a 10 if I could.

We had a major problem with sewage backing up in our master bathroom that is located in our basement. I called Actnow on Friday morning at 8:00am and they had someone here by 9:15. They had to dig at least 5 feet through cement to get to the problem. They corrected this major issue and made sure that all the pipes were cleaned out. Very nice people to work with. We are very thankful and give them a 10 out of 10.

We came home from vacation to 8” of standing water in our basement. We suspected it was due to a clogged perimeter drain. Ricky’s team came next day (the day before Thanksgiving, no less) and jetted out the drain for us, removing a huge ball of roots 25’ in the pipe which had created a complete blockage. They were knowledgeable and talked with us for a while about what happened and how to prevent it moving forward. We were so relieved to finally be able to stop the water from coming in and appreciated them coming so quickly after our call.

I live in Waterford, Maine, and I had been trying to get a plumber to repair two sink drains, and fix a shower. I earlier personally stopped in to Maine Line plumbing, and was told Sam was very busy and I would have to wait for about 2 wks. I said that was acceptable, and after waiting 3 weeks, my wife stopped in and talked to Sam. He said he would be out to fix our problems with 10 days. 3 more weeks go by and zero communications with Sam. Maine Line plumbing in Norway just strings you along, with not intention of contacting you or doing the work. One call to ACTNow in Oxford received an immediate response, and the job is getting fixed. I dont like dealing with cons, and Maine Line cannot be trusted. Go with ACTNOW if you are in Oxford or the Norway area.

Chad and Brandon were able to come earlier than the scheduled appointment which was great. Very courteous and through. They checked my shower completely to find any possible causes for the dripping shower head. It is an older system and all seemed good except for the debris found in the valve. Seems to be in better working order now. If it reoccurs I may have to update my shower system, but for now the constant drip is gone.

I wont bore you with details. We were in a bad spot. After 8 calls to different plumbers voicemail, my frustration was over the top. My phone rang and it was one of the eight Id called. Asked him for a quote. He of course wanted to see the job first and he doesnt drive down here for free. How much is a service call for an estimate? $75. What?!? Good bye. The ninth call was to ActNow. Im sending two guys your way. They should be there in 15 minutes. They were! 2.5 hours later its fixed with photos of the repair work. With my military service discount my bill was $410.50. I will always refer work to these guys! Awesome customer service, knowledgeable and affordable rates. He could have raked me over the coals... but he didnt!

I needed a jetted bath tub installed in what used to be a bedroom. I sent emails to every GC I could find that did remodels from Bethel to Oxford and in that week ActNow was one of only TWO contractors who actually took the 30 seconds needed to respond to my email. So already they got an A+ for communication. Ricky was helpful in the planning stages and answered all of my many messages about “which one is better?” “How much of this am I supposed to buy?!” Ect. 🤣 The walkthrough was done in the dark as the power went out the second they pulled up but they got it done and even suggested a better water filter than what we had after my father complained about it. As with any renovation, this one came with it’s issues. But they were handled professionally and efficiently. They were thoughtful and had good attention to detail. I had an image in my head of what I wanted and Ricky did his very best to make sure the end result was what I had pictured. The room was carpeted and I didn’t know you couldn’t have carpet in the room at all with the tub so I wasn’t prepared to change the flooring in the entire room. I was stressed as both tile I had ordered took 1.5 weeks to arrive. but Ricky went and picked up the new flooring himself to be sure we got it right away. He added some space around the built in so I can set stuff on it which is very useful and a step as well. Both just ideas he came up with to improve what I had picked out which is great. He even surprised me with a fan that has a light that changes colors and can be controlled with my iphone 🙌🏻 Very happy with the end result! They even did some random jobs around the house while here. All very helpful. I had no idea what anything should cost. All I know is I had money saved up for this to cover it all and I was worried that it could go over that amount but it didn’t and I actually had a bit left over in the end 🤣🙌🏻 So I’m very happy with everything. Chad and Ryan came even before supposed time. Im off the grid, and getting in wasnt easy. My septic line was frozen, but in little over an hour they had solved the problem; they even saw the Plummer hadnt removed the vent cap after the pressure test and fixed this, as well as adjusted the toilet tank to prevent further tank running. Both of these were main factors in the freeze up. Their professionalism and know how saved me big bucks. Cant say enough for ActNow dispatcher either, which kept me posted. These guys were AWESOME!! They really got us out of a winter bind. My Patio was installed over my septic tank, and the patio was completely frozen to the ground. These guys worked their tails off to not only minimalize the destruction of our patio but also solve the issue of the frozen discharge pipe to our leach field. They are set to come back and install man hole covers so that if this issue were to arise again, it could more easily be remedied. I will certainly recommend them to anyone else that needs this kind of help. Also they came recommended from a friend of mine that had used them in the past.

We had to postpone twice because of unforeseen issues but there was constant communication. I received a call ten minutes before arrival time.
