We have a maintenance agreement with United for 2/3 of our units and they were coming out to perform maintenance on those units. Tech was excellent- he called to give an ETA so I could plan for his arrival. He was very courteous, wearing shoe covers to protect our carpets while he cleaned/maintained two of the units in the home. Our basement unit was putting out a bunch of water; rather than have us make a separate appointment, he instructed us to contact our home warranty through American Home Shield and have them authorize a diagnostic check. In less than 10 minutes, he had what he needed to diagnose and repair the issue (clogged pvc pipe). We need to replace one of the units soon and will definitely be using United for all of our a/c and furnace needs.

I chose to switch from the company I had been using for years for my air conditioning service to United Air Temp after they installed a new system for my son’s property 2 years ago. I was impressed with my interactions with the area supervisor and technician’s. I decided to call on them again to service my homes systems and again was thoroughly impressed with the work and professional. I was out if town on a flight back home but the technician (Sam), communicated with me via calls and text during my flight keeping me informed of the progress.

I’ve been using United Air Temp for several years. They are easy to reach/communication is great, always arrive promptly, they do great work, and offer appreciated discounts. James, the manager for my local office, recently came to repair my air and noticed my furnace wasn’t quite as clean as he expected, so he sent another tech out a couple days later to do a thorough vacuum at no charge. Excellent service.

The technician Marcus Williams is fantastic and a true professional with a wealth of knowledge that he was willing to share! I am embarrassed to say that I watched him for about 75% of the time he worked to fix my aging AC! And patiently answered all my questions. I felt like a valued customer. He performed the diagnostic the motor/ pressure test/and refrigerant. Educated me on the need for a newer unit and fixed my current Heil 10 (21 years old and counting). When time to replace we will use United Air (Marcus as the technician) for certain! Currently all is well, cold air no leaks with the exception of one part blades to be replaced. They are on order, I was told. But we have cold air just a little noisy for a few more days. BJ is in training with Marcus and appeared to be soaking up the knowledge being transferred! United Air keep these technicians. They are Tony the Tiger great!

I’ve been having issues with my basement heat pump unit for about seven month and had two different companies out multiple times and they they not fix the issue it seems like they were keep guessing on where the issue might be. One of the companies even had me replace the indoor air handler and in less than 30 days they had to come back out because that wasn’t the issue. After getting frustrated I contacted United Air Temp and Marcus came out and provided detail troubleshooting to identify the actually issue with the system. He went above and beyond to make sure the issue was corrected. I would definitely recommend them to everyone I know.

I contacted United Air Temp because my home warranty company sent a contractor who was rude, took one glance, did ZERO diagnostics, and said my AC unit wasnt repairable. My home warranty didnt want to cover repairs but offered me to get a second opinion from another contractor, because the first one obviously didnt want to do his job (and even called me and HARASSED me after I told the warranty company how rude he was). I wanted a second opinion that wasnt a company that worked with my home warranty company, and this company was highly recommended from a friend. Diego was my technician, and he came out promptly, kept me updated on his ETA and even worked around my work schedule so I could be seen ASAP. I have a bedridden mother who is on oxygen, and needed a second opinion way faster than my home warranty company wanted to give me. The price was absolutely fair, and Diego was very professional. He took the time to explain to me exactly what was wrong with the AC unit, (and even gave extra explanation so I better understood, because I know ZERO about AC units). I appreciate his kindness and how patient he was with me, because I had a lot of questions. He did a quick diagnostic and determined that I had no coolant, because there is a coolant leak somewhere, and said that my unit is repairable. We need more people like Diego, who are willing to take the time and explain the issue, rather than trying to upsell and make a quick buck. In the event I do need a replacement unit, I will for sure use United Air Temp!

I recently had an issue with the AC unit in my upstairs, and I must say, the service provided by United Air Temp was exceptional. The problem was efficiently diagnosed and resolved by Rodney, Tech #1242. Upon his arrival, he quickly noticed that the capacitor did not have any microfarads, and promptly installed a new 50 capacitor, which fixed the issue as the pressures changed to 150/35000.I am also covered under the Real Estate Home Protection Plan - ShieldEssential, which meant I didnt have to pay a service fee, and its reassuring to know that a 30-day recall applies to the service work performed. Also, it’s great to know that other potential issues like plumbing stoppage, pest control, and refrigerant refill are covered under the plan, although those services weren’t needed this time.A special shoutout to Rodney for his superb work. He was professional, efficient, and very knowledgeable. Its clear that he takes pride in his work and ensures that the service is completed to the highest standard.Thank you, United Air Temp, for the excellent service, and thank you, Rodney, for your exceptional work. The most honest and fair HVAC company I’ve worked with. My home warranty company had initially sent another company to work on my unit. They were dishonest and did not know how/what to do. They switched me to United Air Temp and I was happy to see the gentleman that had previously worked on the unit before show up. He got it up and running and gave me direct and honest feedback about getting a new unit. Within a couple of days the team was here installing the new unit. They all were courteous, cleaned up their mess, even cleaned up my mess by sweeping down the stairs. The next day there was a challenge with the new unit (a drain pipe), they immediately came back out to fix it and make sure it was working as it should. I will always recommend United Air Temp!

February 9, 2023Again a superb visit today and probably even better than last time. Justin was the professional and he came along with an apprentice. Again, immediately covered shoes, gave me information and told me exactly what he was doing and showed me what was wrong and fixed it. I couldnt ask for a better visit. I used them through AHS, and United Air Temp is definitely a company you can trust with your service. Remember to read your AHS contract so as a homeowner, you know what is covered and what you will have to pay. Luckily, my problem was covered but they have to charge you if something isnt covered (not their fault).Justin, thanks again for the great service and you were correct, my last visit from you guys was great as well!!-----------------------------------------------I highly recommend United Air Temp of Georgia!! Just had a service visit from Diego and he was so professional, well-spoken, great manners, and respectful of my family and property. There was initially a communication problem between United Air Temp and my home warranty company, as to what would be covered for this visit, but because of Justins patience, professionalism & knowledge of the situation, he communicated with the home warranty company through me and we were able to resolve the problem to me and my familys satisfaction. Something that he did not have to do. Justin went above and beyond what was expected to ensure that I was satisfied with the outcome. My experience thus far with home warranty through AHS has been disturbing, to say the least. They utilize sub contractors that actually should be reported to the BBB. Not this time! Ive dodged a bullet with Diego. UAT, make sure you keep him!
