I have appreciated having a contract with Batchelors for my heat/air sales and service in two homes for over 30 years. I have always been pleased with the services provided. Jonathan recently serviced my two systems and he gave perhaps the best service I remember. He was professional and efficient. He provided services that were detailed. He explained to me how such services (such as cleaning parts) increase the efficiency and prolong the life of my units. He was personable and polite. I could not be more pleased with Jonathan’s service!

We’ve been using Batchelor’s for years and have always had wonderful experiences. I like the fact that I get a reminder call two days prior to my appointment, then ETA information the day of, complete with a photo of the tech who will be arriving.I want to specifically call out our most recent tech, Jonathon.He was kind, professional, and informative, just like all our other Batchelor’s techs, but his detailed explanations of exactly our current unit quality and what his suggestions were for long-term service and care were fantastic. At no point did I ever feel like he was trying to “sell” me something I didn’t need. He gave me tips of things I could do to make sure my unit stayed healthy between their visits, explained the different services that are newly offered by Batchelor’s, and even told me how and when to make my upcoming appointments to make sure I get the timeslots my family needs for our service based on demand.I appreciate you more than you know, Jonathon, and I’m excited to request you specifically for all my future services!

Had my first tune up today. Bradley Roberson did an amazing job! He kept me informed of everything, cleaned up any mess behind himself, and ensured my gate was shut so my dogs could not get out. He did the job in a timely manner and was very friendly and kind. Will definitely continue doing my business with bachelors**UPDATE**I just got my second tune up, Christen was awesome!! Came even during a tropical storm and made sure my inside unit is working well, and will come back later to schedule the outside which is understandable with weather circumstances. Was very polite and didn’t mind my screaming kids running around. Would definitely recommend as a tech to return to my home! I love that I have never had a issue with bachelors and has great communication

Batchelor’s Service installed my whole house standby generator last week and I couldn’t be more satisfied. They coordinated the entire project (there’s more pieces to the puzzle than one may think). All I had to do was call the gas company to schedule the upgrade of my gas meter. Batchelor’s set the generator unit on a raised pad, ran the necessary gas piping, and arranged for the electrical contractor (South Alabama Electrical) to mount the automatic transfer and hook up the power. They even handled the coordination with the power company. The next day, Batchelor’s technician performed the check-out/start-up, and showed me how to monitor the unit if I wanted to. I opted to get the semi-annual service, which I added to my semi-annual HVAC service contract. I’m glad I used Batchelor’s; the project went smoothly and the cost was very reasonable.

The night before Labor Day, we noticed the inside unit wasnt running and the outside unit was iced over at the coil/valve intake. On Labor Day I reset the units and tried to get it running. It still wouldnt.I called the answering service and had the on call tech paged. He came out and determined the motor was shot. The next day he obtained the part and got the unit up and running. He was courteous and professional. Service was exceptional.

Long story short:I had a leaking shower arm in my bathroom. The repair crew arrived at my house on Good Friday within an hour or two of my call. The guys were super courteous and completed the job in about 30 minutes. That included the initial greeting and the time it took for them to rummage through their truck for the the items they needed to do the job. Im super satisfied with the service I received. My mother has been using Bachelors Air Conditioning service for many years, so thats why we considered using their plumbing service for the very first time.Short story long:I came down to Mobile recently from Michigan to help my sister and my elderly 97 year-old mother. I was trying to do some work around the house, and one of my jobs was changing out a shower arm. The one that had been installed many years ago, when the house was built, had a ball on the end of it that prevented me from being able to change out the shower head to a more modern hand-held nozzle that my sister preferred.What I thought should have been a simple job turned into a big problem for me. So, I called a friend who owns rental property, and he told me to pick up plumbers tape and the new shower nozzle, and he would drive over to help me fix it. No matter what he did, I still had a small leak where the shower arm fit inside the fitting on the wall. He told me I might have to use plumbers tape AND pipe dope to fix the problem.So, following his advice, I went back to Lowes to buy pipe dope, and I spent some time watching some YouTube videos how to change out a shower arm. Everything seemed to be so simple. I followed the directions to the letter, put four good wraps of tape around the threads on the shower arm, pressed the tape really good into the grooves, and then put a coat of pipe dope on top of that. I turned the shower nozzle hand tight and then used a large screwdriver in the open end of the arm to snug it up. I thought for sure I had it that time. When I turned on the water, the leak was even worse.Enough was enough!It looked like I needed a pro to help me, and I figured it would only take a few minutes for a pro to fix the problem. I was right about that. After all was said and done, I found out the root cause of my problem was buying crappy plumber tape. The repair crew used Blue Monster plumbing tape that I could have bought from Home Depot, and they told me they NEVER use plumbers tape AND pipe dope together. I really appreciate the time they took out to share their trade secrets with me. :-) Live and learn, but of course knowledge is priceless, and I learned a very valuable lesson.

Exceptional work. Jonathon (the technician)was polite. He worked extremely quietly and quickly. He wore booties over his shoes (no grass, dirt or debris was brought in the house)which was greatly appreciated.He really went above and beyond with his professionalism and service.He inspected and replaced the a/c filter and provided recommendations on replacing the Not a generic recommendation but a recommendation based on the information I provided.He also recommended the capacitor be replaced. He replaced it the same visit.What I liked is that he provided the working status of the capacitor and the optimal specs at which it should work. Jonathon then gave me the option replace it not. He also replaced the insulation around the pipes.He notified me of everything that required maintenance or repair and showed me everything he worked on.Also, he completed maintenance on the outside unit and cleaned it thoroughly.The company called and provided a reminder days in advance of the service.An actual person called not a robo reminder.The company also provided a notification when the technician was in route.Once again , I appreciate immensely that the company provides a picture of your technician so you are not surprised or uncertain of who they are when they arrive.Batchelor’s continues to provide excellent, professional and punctual service.Which is why I use have been doing business with them for my HVAC needs for around three years and continue to use them for all my HVAC needs.

Totally satisfied. I purchased an entire unit for my house. They communicated well. The guy that gave me the quote easily connected me where I could get financing. They did the job in a reasonable amount of time. I had to call about 6 weeks later because it wasnt cooling very well. They promptly came out and changed a setting. They told me there was a satisfaction guarantee if that means they have to rip it out and redo. I have dealt with another company in town that I was extremely disappointed in. They were able to send an expert technician at 3 pm that very day. He arrived promptly and diagnosed and repaired the unit by 4:15 pm. Everything is now working and cooling properly. We are very satisfied with this company’s professional and reliable service.
