I researched who to use to solve a home electrical problem in my home completed by the previous owner. I scheduled an appointment with Randys Electric. Their communication throughout the process was clear and timely. They were able to complete the work a day early as a time slot had opened up. The technician, Tyler, was very knowledgeable as I walked him through what was going on with some canister lights in our basement. He quickly recognized the issue and walked me through the estimate and repair process. He completed the work in less than 2 hours. He explained a lot about the wiring in our house which was built in 1990. Upon completion, he was able to take payment via card. Thank you for the great and prompt service. If the need arises again, I will be giving you a call.

While he was here, he found a safety hazard that they were able to take care of in the spot. He also gave me an estimate for a future project and advise on timing. We had an electrical fire inside a wall of our home. It caused minimal damage but we still wanted to have a reliable and knowledgeable electrician check the switch and wiring that shorted. Scheduling was easy - Randys Electrics website has an online scheduling option. I got a confirmation text before our appointment and a call day of confirming the time and letting me know when to expect the techs.Joe and Brian were great. We had a lot of questions and concerns. They did a thorough review of the wiring and all switches and outlets that were on the same circuit. They noted other issues and explained them. Joe prepared a comprehensive report of what they found and what they recommended, separated by issue and urgency, and broken down to show individual costs.We were able to choose what and how much we wanted done that day and Joe and Brian got right to work.I work from home, and the shorted switch and wiring were in my office. I had a busy day, but Joe and Brian were so efficient that even having the circuit powering my office off I had minimal disruption to my work day.We are especially relieved that our electrical issue was found and repaired before there was more damage, and that Randys Electric and Joe and Brian were so prompt, skilled, and thorough.Highly recommend!

Randy’s Electric was fast and accommodating for my initial visit when other companies were unresponsive. Josh and his apprentice were kind, respectful, knowledgeable, and great communicators. My main panel went out and from the initial visit to the panel being replaced took only 4 days, because a permit was needed. My house is older and also needed a code upgrade by law to be fixed properly. They fixed it asap, did a great job, and offered numerous options and spoke to my insurance so they could assist with the costs. Will definitely call Randy’s again when I need electric work in the future.

His excitement when he figured it out was, “WE GOT IT!!!” Cracked me up, I would have been too!I solve investigation cases for a living, put puzzles together…and this is one I couldn’t. It was great knowing who to expect for the home service appointment, especially as a young female.Chris & Jake were very knowledgeable and able to confirm how to fix the existing electrical issue within the first 10 minutes of my appointment. They were also thorough and patient while explaining options for additional electrical work I wanted to have done.They provided a quote and fixed the electrical issue (new electrical line run for microwave, corrected under cabinet lighting) + installed one more ceiling disc light the same day within 3 hours.The additional disc light looks great and since the fix there have been no issues with running the microwave or using the under cabinet lights and having this take out the lights in other rooms of my condo 😊 My place was also left very clean after the work!

Josh Weikal did an amazing service all around the board. He was prompt, didnt leave a mess, and last but certainly not least ensured that I understood services were rendered. I was given several options for services, and he also detailed each option, pros and cons of each to support my decision. Service was for a dedicated circuit for my kitchen island that two previous electricians discussed that would destroy my ceiling in my finished basement & a two outlets in the kitchen that they could not determine why both did not have power. Josh installed the circuit without destroying my ceiling. He also covered & secured the small hole. The craftsmanship is top tier. I finally get to have my microwave stationed in my island.I had concerns with obtaining a permit. However, that was taken care of as well. The administrative office also scheduled the time and date with the inspector for inspection. Confirmed a time that was convenient for me as well.The services are a lifetime warranty. Brandon was very professional and friendly. He explained several options and the associated costs. He replaced 3 outlets (2 were the reset variety used in bathrooms), which had overloaded. He also ran a new outlet from my circuit breaker to the garage so I could have a dedicated outlet for my plug in hybrid vehicle separate from the line powering my garage freezer, kitchen lights and office lights and computer. This was our first experience with Randys Electric and we will be calling them again! All went exactly as they said, from email reminder to phone call when on the way to prompt arrival. I love when companies like Randys use shoe covers, it shows respect for our home! Technician Ryan was super nice and patient as I had many questions. He did a safety check then went over several quote options, he installed several new ceiling lights along with replacing some bad wiring and installed a house surge protector. Randys will be our go-to electrical company from now on!

One small thing that shows the care they took (and that you can expect from Randy’s) is that when they entered my home they put on plastic booties over their shoes to stop mud from getting in my house. I had an emergency electrical situation, which meant I was without power until it got fixed. Randys had someone at my house before dispatch was even able to call me back with an ETA.Our electrician was Luis. He gave me great explanations of what needed to be done, and why, and what the cost breakdowns were. He was able to get us temporary power while waiting for permanent repairs to take place. He was also friendly and overall was nice to have him in my home.For the day of the work, it was only a couple days later and it was Luis again with an apprentice. Originally it was estimated to be a long day of work, possibly 1.5 days. However, my power was back up within a regular work day because they went so fast (and an extra line I had put in at the same time didnt have any obstacles).The inspector had no issues with any of the work and commented that they did really nice work on the panel itself.I really cant speak to the cost. It was expensive, but for us needing an entire new panel, and the NEC requiring us to get the emergency outdoor disconnect as well, it was always going to be expensive. All the required repairs for us were covered by insurance because it was an immediate fire hazard.It gives me peace of mind knowing this work is done. I feel lucky that we didnt have a full on house fire, and Im grateful about how quickly they had a master electrician in my house to complete the work.

Service #2 (repeat customer) Adding another review for using Randy’s Electric a second time: we had water enter our main breaker (contractor error) and Luis Cortes w/ Randy’s electric came out after hours, diagnosed the problem and replaced the damaged equipment. The builder will be held responsible, but that’s a separate matter. Luis did an excellent thorough job along with his assistant. This is the second time I’ve needed to hire them and both experiences were extremely positive. The people are very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to call them. They are a trusted resource for your electrical needs. I should also complement Racheal (sp?) who was the operator/dispatch on the phone - very professional and courteous. I hardly ever have the time to post reviews but when I encounter a very positive reputable business, I think it’s important to give them credit.
