Ive hired Nordeast for a number of projects both big (replacing my electrical panel, trenching in an underground conduit and installing a detached garage subpanel, and adding two EV chargers) and smaller (adding several outlets, replacing some bad wiring, and replacing a hidden junction box I found behind some drywall). Every time, theyve done great work, on time and at good prices. Electricians have all been friendly and are great at explaining the work and their recommendations too. Highly recommended.

We had an outlet installed on a GFI breaker behind a toilet for an electric bidet seat. We appreciated the care taken to understand where existing plumbing was and the cleanliness of the final install. He was very knowledgeable about the electrical codes and explained his work, both when giving an estimate and when doing the work. I used Nordeast last fall and I recommend them to everyone. It was a big job, mostly knob and tube updating, and they were in my home for 5 days, was quoted 7 and they finished early. I communicated most with KC, who was amazing and helpful! They found other issues I didn’t know about. Overall, great people and great experience to have when taking on such a huge project. They even cared that I had an old grumpy cat around. They genuinely care about what they do. Highly recommend!

Great service, would use them again. They ran wire to a new ceiling light installation for a reasonable price. Big shoutout to the electrician who educated me as a very basic DIY-er for any future projects. At the end of the service, the apprentice did install my dimmer light switch upside down. It was an easy fix for me, but I wouldve appreciated to have been consulted on before the apprentice installed it upside down.

Storm damage to our homes exterior resulted the need for repairs and Nordeast Electric has been AMAZING to work with. We had them do what was covered under insurance, plus some extra wish-list items around the house. We installed upgraded service so we have sufficient amps to the garage, and we also prepared for the installation of an electric range. Everything from communication to estimates to installations and inspections has been a total breeze. The folks at Nordeast have been timely and professional the whole way through and the work they did looks absolutely beautiful. We are already planning future electrical projects and will be using this company for all of it. Nordeast Electric exceeded my best expectations.

I worked with Jake (8yr w the co) and Joe (4 yrs w the co) and both showed up the day after I spoke with Chad in their office. They had a cancellation and make my inquiry a priority. Jake was the lead and did a nice job of explaining all aspects of the 4 projects I needed help with. These included installing a light fixture above my front door, installing a light fixture next to my backdoor, installing a new outdoor outlet in the front of my house and helping cap exposed wires on the back of my house. Jake did 2-3 walkthroughs with me before starting the work and asked if I was ok with the estimate he typed up before starting the work. During the project he was very good about telling me what they could not do due to the age of the house or walls that would interfere with specific locations I had picked out. I will use them again! All went well.

They scheduled time to explain the options (a new run from my house or new service from the pole) and clearly listed the costs and effort of each. I will definitely use Nordeast Electric again if I have another project come up. The electricians on-site and the office staff by phone and email are all excellent.

Of the electrical contractors I talked with, Jake provided the most thoughtful analysis of what I needed and what could wait, then led a work team that did the job carefully and efficiently, and ahead of schedule. No games and no up-selling. Their price was not the absolute rock bottom, but it was entirely fair, consistent with their motto, and the quality of their work was clear not only to me but to the city inspector who checked it. What a great overall experience! We had our breaker box and electrical mast updated. Initially, they said the work could take three days, but they sent a few extra techs to get it done in one day. After the work was done, we found one light that was stuck on with no way to turn off. They sent two guys back the next day and got it fixed. I would say they went above and beyond to make us happy. I priced out two companies for the same work and Nordeast was (by far) the winner. I would highly recommend them for any electrical work needed.

My new-to-me house was built in 1971-1972, at the very end of the brief period when aluminum wiring was used because of the high price of copper. My home inspector had noted that some aluminum was used, but the house needed extensive re-wiring and a service upgrade. I also wanted some lighting updates.Jake from Nordeast did a very thorough inspection in order to give me an estimate that was reasonable for the extent of the work, though much more than another contractor who told me we could coat the ends of the aluminum wires with an antioxidant for a few thousand dollars.The crew from Nordeast was always punctual, friendly, busy...and flexible. The whole job was projected to take two weeks, and they got it done in exactly that timeframe, sometimes with one-two electricians onsite, sometimes with four or five. And they came in on bid, with the exception of some additions I requested (wiring two new gas fireplace inserts; running coax cable). They cleaned up every day and left my house in better, safer condition.HIGHLY recommended!

As a fairly new homeowner Ive had a long list of projects that Ive wanted to get done that all relied on an electrical panel replacement, so getting that done correctly and quickly was at the front of my mind.When I reached out to Nordeast, Meghan was able to set up an estimate appointment without any delay. Once I approved the quote, she followed up immediately and had the service appointment scheduled sooner than any of the other contractors I had out had been able to guess on schedule.KC was extremely thorough on the estimate appointment- making sure there werent any immediately apparent complicating factors that would require costly changes while at the same time pointing out current infrastructure that could remain and save money.On the day of the installation I was only around to let everyone in before leaving for work. Everything was back up and running before I got home. KC called to update on some issues they found behind the walls that the previous owner had done himself, and those were all addressed as they continue the installation and didnt charge anything additional for dealing with those complications.The inspect just passed without any issues at all, and I can start on that long project list. For any of those projects that Ill need an electrician for, Nordeast is going to be my first and only call.

Brent and his team continue to provide excellent electrical service and they are the only electricians we use. In our most recent project we had them install ceiling fans/lights in each of our bedrooms as well as recessed lighting in our kitchen. They clearly showed us all of our options for the project as well as pricing, worked quickly and left the house looking perfectly clean when they were done. Our fans ran into issues due to manufacturer errors and Brent went out of his way to help us solve the problem and find a solution that works beautifully! We highly recommend them. Their pricing is fair, work is excellent, and they remain one of the best companies weve worked with.

Nordeast electric did an incredible job on my whole house electrical upgrade, including changing from an ancient 100 amp panel to a new 200 amp panel. Their estimate is exactly what they ended up charging me and, though expensive, it was 20% less than the estimate I got from Edison Electric, another local company. Jake was the lead electrician. Initially the office staff, Meghan, quoted me that the job would 8-10 business days, they ended up getting it all done in three days with several electricians working in the house at once most of the time. That was a nice surprise. The city electrical inspector found no issues. There were many small tasks entailed in the project, but every time they had a question, Jake would text or call me and wed work it out before they did any work. They did a pretty good job cleaning up.

My living room power went out so I suspected the circuit breaker needed replacement. I called a couple electricians and Id have wait about 2 weeks to get an appointment! Nordeast Electric was the easiest to talk with and ultimately instead of an appointment, I was put on stand-by. 24 hours later, they called saying an electrician would arrive in 30 minutes. A very nice electrician arrived and checked out the breakers and the wiring. He explained everything about my old circuit box and the breakers it held. Since my breakers were so old, he had to call a coworker to bring out a few from their warehouse. About 5 minutes later, the new breakers arrived and two were replaced. I am so very satisfied with all the professional help I received. I give Nordeast Electric 5 gold stars!!!!! Also a plus is I didnt need to pay that day. I received an invoice by email and paid online. I paid for the service call which includes one hour of labor, $195, and for two breakers. My total cost was $240. Yay, power restored to the living room within 24 hours!

They were competitively priced, did the work on time, on budget and always took care to leave the work area clean. Weve used Nordeast Electric on about 3 occasions in our previous house and then recently at our condo where we have lived for just under a year. The list of services checked above includes work at both locations. On our recent service call, we had a fairly long list of things to be looked at, some resulting from a pre-purchase inspection and then some other things we wanted done. The electrician arrived on time and spent most of the day with us, accomplishing everything on our list. To make sure he was able to finish everything, he did call on a colleague to purchase a few needed items and bring them to our house, and stay to help with the last two projects. He then reviewed everything he had done with us. We were very satisfied with his work that day.

I want to thank your team for the work they did for us March 4th. We had a variety of electricity-related problems in our house that we have been avoiding. A number of different companies have worked on the house over the past 25+ years. Many problems resulted. Nordeast had quite a variety of challenges we asked them to repair. Their attitude was great and they explained everything they were doing and why. It was very helpful and we now have a dishwasher that works, fixtures in a portion of the house that consistently work, outlets that are updated, and a new light and a fire alarm. It was past time for us to bring in electricians who REALLY know what they are doing. We hope to do a bigger update later this year. We recommend this company without hesitation.

I wanted my meter socket replaced as Xcel was ready to change to modern metering. I researched contractors and saw Nordeast Electric 1. Listed meter socket replacement; 2. Had great reviews. I set up a inspection for them to assess my situation. They were prompt, responsive, thorough and knowlegeable. They listened to my requests and provided options while recognizing the need to be cost aware.On the day of the work, they brought out a large crew to ensure that they could get the work done and the house powered back up by days end. Reroute of incoming service from power pole, new weatherhead, new meter socket, new service cable (upsized) and upsized modern load center. And brought the grounding up to current standards.Throughout the process they were professional and often asked to make sure choices they made were fine. I am so glad I hired them for this work and have already referred them to others. Five Stars Plus!

Sean suggested some fixes and then took care of a few extra problems (a couple dangerous lights, a non-working ceiling fan, switches hidden in strange places from the last owner, fixtures that needed to be fixed) in the extra time that he had left. I would definitely hire them again for any small or big job. And he was able to also give me an estimate for a future project.

I have done business with Bill and Nordeast Electric, located at 4219 Central Ave. NE on many occasions. I have found them to be a FIVE star firm (out of 5). Their work is excellent, they come when they are scheduled to show up, the electricians are precise and knowledgeable, and the work is fairly priced. I have worked with Brent and I find him extremely easy to work with, able to explain things clearly and offer alternatives to the work being scheduled, thus giving me a choice . The practice today is that some forms are bidding a job, and if they finish early they will still charge you the full price. Bill does NOT do this and it is his ethical approach to his customers that really makes Nordeast Electric such a special business. We had KC come over to help us with a pull cord light that was no longer viable. We have a very old house with knob and tube wiring. Not only was KC super helpful and knowledgeable, he went above and beyond. He ended up replacing an entire circuit, and he removed the old wiring so carefully that there were only 2 small holes in our plaster. For reference, typically they would put in a hole about every 12-18 inches in the plaster. Not only that he went to the hardware store and repaired the plaster himself, which he totally didnt have to do, and was not in his job description!!!! He was so kind, and really gave us good advice. In the majority of my experiences with residential contractors by the end of the job they act like your lucky to even have them there. We had Nordeast out last week to install a new area light and an outside outlet on our garage. Previous to this we had them install a new bathroom fan and repair a faulty outlet. Both times we had the pleasure of having Sean show up to do the work. There are at least three ways to spell Sean (Shaun, Shawn) so I apologize for not knowing which spelling is correct. Regardless, Sean is outstanding. He makes sure you’re aware of the costs, but he also makes sure he explains your options before doing the work ie; we can put your outside outlet here or here but if I put it here I can tie into a wall stud for a sturdier install. When Sean replaced our bathroom fan he told us that he could install the whole new unit or just gut the old one and install the new moving parts into the existing box, saving time and $$. As far as pricing goes, the fee structure for Nordeast can sound a bit high to the uninitiated but know that the techs like Sean are so fast and efficient that the man-hours they actually spend on a project are as few as humanly possible. After both jobs that Sean has done for us our opinion was, “For work this fast and competent, the amount we paid was a bargain.”Honestly, there’s no reason to call anybody else.

I absolutely loved working with Nordeast! They were very prompt, communicative, fast working and left us with great results! They had to completely redo the wiring to four of our ceiling lights in our 100 year old house and they accomplished all four tasks in under a day and a half. Not only did they get all four lights working again, but they also cleaned up behind themselves and even put back our furniture! I was so impressed with how clean our home was the night between the two working days and when they finished the projects. I cannot stress this enough: they had to drill several holes in our ceiling and walls in order to complete the job and when they left there was not one speck of dust anywhere! They were also very sweet and funny.Bonus: They love cookies, so if you want to befriend these guys maybe offer some!

We bought an old home that still had a lot of knob and tube wiring along with some hack job upgrades throughout the home over the years. Lots of safety hazards and weird conduit on the walls throughout the house. We had Nordeast essentially rewire the entire home as well as upgrade us to a 150 amp panel. All of the work was very professional and the panel is organized and well labeled. They suggested some future fixes that werent immediate safety concerns. Very highly recommend Nordeast, and specifically Brent for any electrical work.

They did major work moving and upgrading our panel, ran new lines, fixed some potentially dangerous issues we didnt know we had, brought our electrical lives into the modern era.
