    I recently had the pleasure of hiring Schlemmer Electricians for an extensive electrical upgrade, and I couldnt be more satisfied with their work. Jesse and Danny were the professionals assigned to my project, and they truly exceeded my expectations.They upgraded my electrical panel to 200AMP and installed a 100 AMP sub-panel in my garage to support multiple high-voltage machines in my wood shop. This was no small task, as it required coordination with the utility company to shut down the power, making the job particularly challenging. Despite these hurdles, Jesse and Danny handled everything with remarkable expertise and efficiency.One of the standout aspects of their service was their punctuality and excellent communication. From the initial consultation to the final inspection, they kept me informed every step of the way, ensuring I was comfortable with the process and aware of any developments.The quality of their work was outstanding. They were meticulous and thorough, ensuring that everything was up to code and functioning perfectly.     Got an upgrade from an old 100amp screw in fuse box, to a 200amp breaker box & a new breaker box in the garage, Jesse and Danny were amazing. From the initial quote, that was extremely competitive, informing me of what work was required and timescale, right through to aftercare (ensuring everything was fine). Communication was amazing, letting me know when they would arrive, (always on time), any mess was cleaned up, and treat my home with respect.     Jesse and Danny are the absolute best! They are always prompt and professional and get the job done right. Theyve been out several times on separate issues: rewiring my detached garage, fixing an overloading kitchen circuit, and now replacing damaged and unsafe wiring.     Jesse and his buddy came today to fish a 220 line from one side of the house to the garage for a new ev car charger. Before you judge me it’s to replace one of my 3 V8’s in my garage and it’s only a hybrid not a full EV. Anyways as you can see by the photo the garage is mostly finished and I was a bit apprehensive for running a new line. Now take a closer look….his conduit run and mounting of the box not only exceeded my expectations but I actually think it kind of adds to the look of the garage. After talking to him a bit they are family owned and I believe they are running three trucks. His estimate was spot on, he was able to quickly come out and get the job done and his price was well below any of the guys you see advertising. I officially have a “go to” electrician saved in my contacts…..thank you so much.

    We havent hired Schlemmer before, but we did go through a longer estimation process and I just wanted to say that these guys are so good. We had a number of bigger and smaller shops come out to do an estimate for a new service upgrade and bringing power to an external building, and Dan was one of the best we spoke to.Super thoughtful, kind, and really willing to go above and beyond. We went with another shop, but it was super close.Highly recommend them! and we will be calling them again when other projects come up.

    Second time Ive used Schlemmer with spectacular results. 4 workers in the house, garage and backyard to run electrical for a spa. Not only did they finish in half the time, they were true to their quote. When done, the areas they worked in were cleaner when they left than before they arrived. Amazing work, amazing people.

    These guys did an excellent job and they were able to get out to my house morning of this horrible breaker failure. Dan Schlemmer really knows what hes doing and answered a lot of my questions. Past contractor did zero insulation from the city feed, which resulted in years of condensation and eventually - kaboom. So happy to have it replaced same day and I didnt even have to throw any food away. Again, great job and highly recommend.

    I had a problem with power in my garage, so I asked for help from these guys using their website form. They came out the next day, and quickly figured out the problem. It turned out to be a pretty simple issue to fix. They politely explained it to me and didnt even charge me for the visit! Thank you!!

    Shawn was able to schedule us on short notice to help with a wiring problem in our kitchen. He explained the work clearly and answered all of our (many) questions.     I recently had a branch fall on my power lines which damaged the mast that connects the lines to the Xcel Energy box. Jesse came out the day I called to assess the damage and was very flexible over the following days as we attempted to coordinate his repair with Xcels removing the branch and replacing the line. As a result, I was only without power for about 2 1/2 hours. Jesse and his team did a great job repairing the damage. I will definitely call Schlemmer the next time I need electrical work done. They are responsive, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I wish all home repair calls were this easy.

    The Schlemmer team is fan. tas. tic.They added the special plug for an electric dryer and were super efficient and affordable. We had them back to install a set up for an electric stove, and we are going to work with them again for our new dishwasher. They always answer the phone and often have same day availability.     I had an electrician change every outlet in my house. Dan Schlemmer checked my home outlets. Every outlet had to be replaced. First electrician put wrong wire in every outlet. Dan Schlemmer sent two full days at my home. The first electrician was a scammer. Schlemmer Electric saved my home from burning down. Highly, highly recommend Schlemmer Electric. Although his work was interrupted by a case of Covid, he otherwise communicated well with us, offered options for us to consider, and reviewed the work done with us when completed.     I went through a few other electric companies and then I had Shawn come over with a long list of projects for my house. He was efficient and thorough in explaining the cost and necessities for the project I wanted done. The other companies added more services or complexities that made the cost go up. I appreciate the transparency with Shawn. We had the project done the following week whereas others estimated a few weeks to a few months in the future. We appreciate the quality of service that he provided and will definatly recommend his company to others!

    These guys are great, they are quick to respond, very friendly and do great work. They helped us with a few things related to a kitchen remodel and did a great job for a more reasonable price than others.Despite encountering some serious problems with the previous electrical work, they changed their schedule to complete the job before the weekend so we could keep moving forward with our remodel.

    I cannot say enough good things about the team that helped me with our house.We had to get an upgrade to our service for a remodel and they were able to quote me exactly what I needed, explain everything in detail and charge a fair wage for the work performed.Their quote was not the lowest we received, but was a competitive bid and we felt most comfortable using them based on how great they communicated.The day of the job, the team came and cleaned up (truthfully better than it was before the work was started).     We had a list of electrical projects needed for our house, including both interior and exterior work. Jesse and Danny from Schlemmer came to our house for several days and completed all of our projects (which included new circuits for dishwasher, microwave and such, replacing fixtures, adding track lighting, updating and adding outlets). They arranged for the city permit we needed. They were friendly (our cat loved Jesse), professional, efficient and tidy. They offered us great advice on how we could improve lighting in our basement area. Our home is safer and better because of their work. We absolutely recommed Schlemmer for any electrical work you need done.

    Schlemmer came to my house to replace an electric wire that another contractor accidentally cut while preforming a different job. When the Schlemmer reps were onsite they completed the work quickly and did an excellent job with exactly what I needed. They also replaced a broken light socket at the same time and again completed the job quickly and very well. I would recommend them!

    Jesse came out within 24 hours to fix a light switch wiring problem (of my own creation). Fixed up within 20 minutes, took time to show me what I had done wrong, and took a look at a few other to-do list items before departing. Super friendly and professional, would highly recommend!!

    Moved into a 51-year old house, went to update some of the switches and outlets, and got in over my head. Called around when I had two circuits that wouldnt come back up, nobody had any availability until I talked to Schlemmer Electricians. They squeezed me in by the end of that day and had everything taken care of within 90 minutes - one circuit was from a dimmer that was burned out, the other was from a mis-wired 3-way switch at the ceiling fixture (I swear, not my fault!). Total bill was $163, very reasonable considering time and materials spent, same-day service, and that half of our house had been without power for several days ;)Will definitely use again.2021 Edit: Schlemmers endorsement of Trump in the 2020 campaign was unfortunate for doing business with them in the future. Their continued endorsement of Trump and Back The Blue after the election, the run-up to the insurrection attempt on Jan 6th, and even after the insurrection was put down is beyond the pale. I will leave up this 5 star review for the work they performed in 2018 but I will never employ them again.

    This company is tops in my opinion. I had my electrical system updated. The system was 45 years and in need of replacement. Jessie and his helper Dennis arrived at the appointed time and replaced the whole system with a new box and new breakers. Before leaving Jessie and Dennis on the door of the breaker box listed where each breaker was supplying the power to in the house. They cleaned up the mess in the basement before they left and explained to me and showed me how to operate the new system. I highly recommend this company.

    I could not be more pleased with the service I received from Dan Schlemmer. He made an appointment, arrived on time and spent all the time it took to complete my very challenging job on my older home. I had only one kitchen outlet working and my dining room also with no power to outlets. Dan was persistent with troubleshooting and did not quit until he located the problem, including a trip to the hot attic and the basement. Dan was polite, professional and explained every step of the job. Plus, the price for this difficult job completed was more than fair! Oh, I forgot - he also fixed the ceiling fan/light that was not working.     Thanksgiving weekend and I lost power to my furnace, upstairs refrigerator, and downstairs refrigerator. One call to Schlemmer Electric and problem solved! Dan restored temporary power to the furnace and refrigerators in less than an hour. Jesse replaced the 40 year old circuit panel early the next week. Great service! Great value! I will use them in the future.

    Schlemmer Electricians just delivered one of the better customer experiences weve ever had.We called Shawn from Schlemmer Electricians to try to address an imminent issue with our power shutting off at a series of critical outlets. Wed tried a few potential solutions ourselves and had no luck, so we were getting ready to pay at least $100 and wait a week for service from another provider.Instead, Shawn patiently walked us through a series of troubleshooting steps. Within 10 minutes, the problem was fully resolved at no charge. His expertise was evident and he even gave us some steps to avoid similar issues in the future.Without question, we will be using Schlemmer Electricians for all our future needs! Cannot recommend them enough.

    OMG!!! As a retired General Contractor, Dan and Mike were awesome AND amazing on the job!!!We purchased a new hot tub, and these two had it wired up, and fired up in a matter of hours!!!BUT, Dan also found some major issues in our electrical panel during the install….. fortunately, being a “retired” contractor, (you never really retire from that profession), I knew what he, Dan was talking about, and agreed with upgrading the entire panel…. Whole house surge protector, new grounding and rods, more safe circuit breakers, etc…..They showed up as expected, and several hours later, BEAUTIFUL JOB was WELL DONE and really cleaned up!!!! AND NO MORE BLINKING, FLASHING LIGHTS and electrical problems!!!I really trust these guys, and plan on having them back for a couple future projects soon… seriously, from a former general contractor, I wish I’d have been in contact with these guys years ago!!!Two thumbs up for Schlemmer Electric 👍👍

    We called Schlemmer Electricians to conduct a service call and check a breaker issue we were experiencing when running our dishwasher. They fit us in right away, quickly replaced an old breaker, and even took some extra time to quickly install a light switch and new ceiling light to replace a chain-pull light that had broken earlier that same day. They were very friendly, professional, and took the time to explain the issue to me while doing the work so that I understood what was being replaced. I fully recommend them for any electrical issues.

    I called Schlemmer electric in the morning for a bid on updating electrical panel, new outlet, fixing kitchen fan and ceiling fan installation, Shawn came out that afternoon and we talked about what i wanted done, he also showed me some updates to bring us to code. He gave me a very fair estimate very close to what i was expecting from my online cost research and told me he would call back with a date and time, he called the next morning and he could come out on Friday at 8am. They arrived right at 8am and were finished b early afternoon, house was spotless. I will use them again in the future. Shawn is very knowledgeable and he and the other guys did a great job!!

    Update: Jim the owner personally reached out to me about my concerns and worked diligently to make it right. I must say, I am very impressed with how professional and nice everyone continued to be. He was able to pull in another electrician to get the work that needed to be done for me in a very timely fashion. Overall, I would recommend them and would use them again in the future if the need arises.I am so very disappointed with the follow up I received from this company. After reading all the positive reviews, I was confident I had found the right company to help with our “new-to-us” home. I called them 1.5 months ago and was told to put in a service request via the website and call the city to see what permits had been pulled on my house. I immediately did both. More than two weeks later, I had not received a call to schedule the work. I emailed Jim asking to have someone call me. A day later, I got a call from Shawn. He said he was booked through the middle of October. I told him that was fine and was just happy that someone called me to schedule a visit. He asked me to call him at the beginning of October to confirm his visit which I did. I called him again a week later when I had not received a response. Again, nothing. I feel fooled that I allowed this to go on for more than a month but as I stated before, I was confident that they would have been able to help me based on so many positive reviews.

    Lost power to HVAC. Called HVAC repair, they inspected and determined it was an electrical problem. Called Schlemmer Electric, explained the problem to Shawn Berktold. He had me take pictures of my electric panel and meter. He determined I had an outdated and out of code panel that was rusted which was causing the problem. My house panel was an unusual setup and required coordination with the power company. He handled all of that scheduled with me and the power company, came at the scheduled time, completed the job sooner than expected and for the amount quoted. I would recommend them to my friends and anyone else. Reasonable prices and good service.

    Jesse and his assistant were able to come to our house in a timely manner. We had lost power in a portion of our house, but couldnt determine which circuit it was on by simply turning on and off breakers. Jesse had to spend time in the around the house and in attic to find the most likely site of the issue. Fortunately, after examining various circuits, he successfully found where the problem was. We were very grateful for his ability to find the issue and quickly repair it once found. We now have power restored to our entire house!

    Hats off to Schlemmer Electricians. All around great experience from first contact calling in a panic when a 3rd of our house was without electricity. The electrical panel we had was a federal pacific and know it would need to be replaced. Jim keep things calm and was able to swing by and take a look at things gave a great price on the panel install. Dan came out for the install was very professional even when having to wait on Excel energy to come and turn power off to the meter. As it seemded the meter lugs crumbled when the cables were removed when replacing the the breaker box. This meant the breaker box needed to be replaced as well. They quote a good price on the meter box as well. Got the meter box and breaker panel in and flipped breakers on and same breaker tripped as was with the old panel. This begin a trace of wires which Dan was once again very professional about even after a long day of the earlier work. Masterfully navigating from hallway lights to rooms to eventually finding a shorted out outlet. Fixed up the fried wires, put everything back together replacing wire nuts where needed and making it look pretty again. Very very happy would recommend to anyone. Will be calling Schlemmer to do more work in the future and recommending to anyone that asks or mentions electrical issues.I cannot thank your company enough.

    I highly recommend Schlemmer. Shawn came out to my condo to assess some water damage and bring my electrical system up to code. He was prompt, professional, and treated the job with the same care and attention to detail that one would expect with a much larger project. The first two companies I called didnt even want to bother with such a small job.
