JZ Electric was great to work with. They were able to fit us in with a last second repair.Matt was awesome. He was personable and was able to fix our issue within a reasonable time.JZ Electric is now saved to my contacts. Hopefully we will not need an electrician again, but if we do, I wouldn’t use anyone else.

JZ has done two large projects for me at two properties, and I could not recommend them enough! Their quotes have been competitive, they are always on time, and all their people are friendly and very professional. But more important than anything else, the quality of their work is exceptional. I would happily recommend JZ to my in-laws.The first project was a new build basement in an old house, with lots of weird customization of lighting and home theater stuff. They came up with great solutions that worked great! The second project was a knob and tube remediation project. Not only were they one of only a few electricians I spoke to even willing to take it on, they were the only ones who quoted it who even seemed to have confidence in their ability to handle the project. Their experience in dealing with those issues was clear in how they not only got things done quickly, but without a giant mess.

The JZ team did awesome work for us on a recent project. They were here when they said they would be, notified us in advance, and worked through several unexpected challenges without messing around. They are professional and best of all a great value compared to other local electricians.

Highly recommend JZ Electric! Theyve been very responsive, helpful, professional, and friendly. They didnt charge for an estimate. Their pricing was quite reasonable. The electricians showed up on time, worked quickly, and were so nice. Well definitely be using them again!

Requested an electrician to wire a sauna stove at same location where one had been for several years in my home.The electrician that showed up decided that the wires should be changed and he needed a part. Had his apprentice show up with the part and then help him with the job.The company billed me for both the electrician and the apprentice and materials for over 4 hours worth of work. The job took 4 hours because it took them a long time to wire through the existing area where the old wires were... On my dime.My general contractor and the other licensed electrician Ive had do other work on my house, both said those lines did not need to be changed out... So I probably paid for at least 2 additional hours of work that were unnecessary, and materials.When I called about the bill... They were quick to say the apprentices hours should not have been there and they made a billing error... had I not said anything , it appears that they would have let me pay for the apprentice hours at 300 additional dollars.They said they would have a conversation with the electrician the did the work, but they were not offering any kind of discount off of the idea that the work was unnecessary that he performed.The work done was satisfactory... But I feel like I paid for $250 worth of additional hours that I didnt need to pay for if he would have just done what he was supposed to do in the 1st place, which is to wire to what was there. In further conversation, they were willing to give more of an explanation for the need of the wiring and adjusted the hours discussed down to the agreed 4 hours. Ive upped the rating because of that.

JZ is amazing. From the office staff to the field guys even the leaders are great! Very seemless experience I will only use JZ going forward for all my electrical needs. They even do Audio Video work as well! Great job everyone

I had a simple electrical issue that several “handymen” could not solve. After being frustrated without a solution I called in the professionals. JZ scheduled the visit, arrived on time, and solved the issue within 30 minutes. Hire professionals, hire JZ!

If youre looking for top shelf, these are the guys. Phil did the electrical for our entire main level + garage renovation and did a phenomenal job. Very professional and easy to work with. We are extremely pleased with the suggestions he gave us along the way as well as the execution of our vision. I wouldnt call anyone else. Thanks for the great service.

Jesse is a real profession. We have a relatively complicated job of installing light fixtures on walls without proper sockets/wires. He did a great job and we love his service. I would recommend him to everyone.
