    They really went above and beyond for us. We had some people from home depot come to install our over the wall microwave and they totally messed it up. Caused electric issues and made us pay more due to their fault. They wrote us a letter for documentation to help us get reimbursed through home depot. Highly recommend them! They truly care about their customers!

    I appreciated how quickly Ryan and his crew came to help us with a new panel and several upgrades. His whole team was friendly and comfortable with getting asked questions as they worked.     I have used Hi Tech Electric in the past, so when I needed four newlights installed in my townhouse I call them. The biggest issues was that I have 16 foot ceilings and they is no way I could have installed new light fixtures, or even remove the old ones. This wascontract work by the. hour and it took two workers to complete. I was quoted the hourly rate and trip charge prior to hiring and they preformed the task without wasting my time and moneyVery Happy with the Job.

    Hi-Tec replaced my old fuse box with a breaker panel. After an initial inspection and a couple of questions around how the house was used and any plans for future needs they sent over an estimate that was straight forward and easy to understand. On project day, they had everything hooked up and ready to go in 4-5 hours, even tidying up a few things while they were at it. Everything looked so nice, even the inspector commented on how neat of a job Hi-Tec did. I am very pleased with the work they did and at a fair price.

    They can give you a quote without charging you. They care about keeping customers happy. They were super quick and efficient and moved my electrical perfectly without damaging the wall, and hung a complex light fixture perfectly.     Todd recently installed three light fixtures with us. He showed up promptly, was very kind and easy to work with. He did great work - it would have taken us so much longer if we would have tried to do it ourselves!Initially when I reached out to the company I had a very hard time getting in contact with them. However, I learned they had been impacted by COVID, so I dont believe that experience was their norm.I would definitely use Hi-Tec again and recommend them to others.

    I am so impressed with this company and with Todd, who responded to our house. Very pleasant and professional service from both the office and Todd. And response time was amazing!     I worked with Ryan and had a great experience. They provided a free estimate, and I was given the typical two hour window. He arrived at exactly the start of that window, answered all of my questions in detail, and provided a bid through email. Service was scheduled and once again Ryan arrived promptly. He worked with a partner and completed the job quickly. Even though I offered to clean up the work area, he insisted on cleaning it himself and left it in probably a cleaner state than it started. I received an invoice through email and was able to pay online.From start to finish was as easy of a process to work with Hi Tec as possible. Ryan was incredibly friendly and helpful. I will use them for any future electrical work I need done.

    Todd & apprentice, Chad, were right on time. They listened to what I had experienced replacing an outlet on my own. Because it blew two breakers they immediately startedat the breaker box. Then traced where the problem was. They found that that outside outlet was tied to two different circuits and pulled from the kitchen, which didnt make sense. They removed the connection to one circuit, replaced the outlet with the proper piece and approved cover for an outdoor outlet. They were very efficient, friendly, and in and done in less than an hour.

    I cant think of enough good things to say about this company. The guys came in and made the house safe and brought up to code. They ran into lots of problems with the almost 70 year old wiring, but they moved and changed everything around in a few days. Im no longer afraid of using the computer and dishwasher at the same time.

    I became familiar with HiTec Electric 2 years ago when one of their electricians was involved with our kitchen remodel. In the days leading to the holidays we encountered a power outage affecting our refrigerators and numerous outlets. As I recalled my satisfaction with their remodel efforts, I contacted them for service. The first response was a rather lengthy wait due to backlog; however, after pleading my case they found a slot to put me into the next day. Unfortunately turned into a bigger job, but they came back and completed it al the next day for less than they thought it would cost.     On Friday afternoon, Ryan from HiTec Electric answered my call on the first ring and was at my house within half an hour. I had a short circuit that kept tripping my circuit breaker, so I had no power in a large section of my house. Ryan was friendly, professional, and fixed the problem in 20 minutes. His pricing was more than fair! The big outfits were refusing service unless I paid a hefty “emergency” fee. I’m glad I went with the local outfit. If you live near St. Louis Park and need an electrician, call HiTec Electric first! A+

    I couldnt be happier with the service I received today from Hitec Electric. I had a hot water heater installed, and the plumber told me that he was done, but there was something wrong with my electrical box so I needed to call an electrician.After scrambling to try to find one on short notice, I found Ryan at Hitec who offered to come out on a Saturday morning personally to take a look at it for me.Then an hour or so later he calls me up and said he could swing by that night instead on his way home from the office.He comes in and immediately realizes it wasnt an electrical problem, but that my plumber screwed up with hooking up the electrical cords. Hes in and out in 5 minutes, and, wait for it.......says I like helping people and I didnt really do anything, so I cant charge you what I quoted you. He left with a handshake, a promise for my business the next time I need an electrician and a very nominal charge.I was blown away. Hire them!
