Wow is all I can say. We had 2 technicians come out Aaron and Eric. Aaron installed our new gas oven for us. Incredible customer service. I have a very chatty 4 year old and Aaron was so patient and explaining what he was doing and what his tools were for. Even helped my 4 year old with his toy tools. Aaron was quick but we didn’t feel rushed when asking questions. Overall amazing experience. Then we had Eric to check our furnace and again Wow! Incredible customer service again. Great with screaming crazy kids again. Very patient and amazing experience again. It’s rare to get this great of service from one person anywhere let alone 2 people who were genuinely nice and great to have here. Thank you!!

Replaced our 23 year old defunct central Air Conditioner and furnace with a new Amana Heat Pump and gas Furnace from Dean’s. Ordered at 5p on Monday from Casey (same afternoon visit and good-better-best quotes), they arrived 8a on Tuesday to install. Very professional, great communication even providing a text introducing the lead technician, Luke, with a picture before they arrived.Luke and Dave did a great job with the install, clean work and maximized the air flow by installing the furnace on a box so it is able to draw both side and bottom air. Made sure to walk through the system and new thermostats and provided the install report and invoice before they left.Dean’s delivered in response, communication, and quality they are clearly a different quality of company from the many I’ve worked with person and professionally. The system is quiet and a huge improvement in performance and comfort and look forward to years of high efficiency results.

I can’t say enough great things about Dean’s! My water heater developed a leak that I could immediately see would require a full replacement. I gave Dean’s a call at 7pm where they took my info and let me know someone would be giving me a call back. I assumed they meant next day since this wasn’t an emergency situation and I figured their sales and scheduling team wouldn’t be working at this time of day. I was so pleasantly surprised to get a call back in about 60 seconds, where they got me set up for an appointment the next morning.The next day their communication to let me know exactly who was coming and when was the best I’ve seen for a service company. They arrived right when they said they would and continued demonstrating incredible levels of customer care and service. They confirmed I’d need a new water heater and we started talking about timing to get it replaced. They asked when I’d hope to have it replaced. I said as soon as possible would be great. They said how about in an hour from now! Sure enough, an hour later and I had a brand new water heater at a competitive price. They took great care of the house, laying down drop cloths anywhere they needed to go, and covered their shoes with protective booties to prevent tracking in any dirt or water.Even payment processes were convenient, transparent and they provided detailed invoices with photos of the work for my records.From start to finish, probably the best service I’ve ever experienced for any company like this. Great job to the entire Dean’s Home Servives team!

I requested a service call due to loss of water pressure from my newly installed kitchen faucet. My serviceman, Alan, was not only timely, but friendly. I explained my faucet situation, and after answering a few of Alan’s questions, he unscrewed the aerator and found seal tape blocking the water flow.What a relief that it wasn’t a bigger issue, and I’m happy to say, there was no charge for this discovery!!Thank you Alan for your generosity and expertise. We reached out to Deans on a Sunday after we lost power in part of our house, including the circuit that our water heater was on. They promptly responded to the chat that day, and the electrician (Cory) was here first thing the next morning. He was super helpful, professional, and went over our options with us and pricing up front before we agreed to next steps on repairs. They had waived the service fee for a promotion this month, and not only did Cory fix the problem outlet, he gave us advice on how to avoid future issues, fixed an issue with our gas fireplace, and even added an outlet wed been wanting in our entry way. Very fair pricing, great service, and highly recommend Deans!

2nd time Ben has been to my house. Very competent and works quickly. Top marks for respectful nature and how well he communicates with customers! Adam came for my annual HVAC service and found both motors leaking badly! Jeff came and laid out all my options. I chose to put a new system in. But then rock star Josh showed up. This guy really cares about the customer, doing everything necessary. When there were clearance issues hr spent half the day on the phone. When he came back two days later with a solution, he and Scott finished installing the new system. Deans proves their solid reputation with people like Josh every day!

Matthew and the team did a spectacular job with the install of a new air conditioner and ductless mini split system. They were very conscientious about keeping the work space clean and tidy, and the craftsmanship of the work was excellent! Very clear communication and knowledge of the products. We had no idea who to call when we needed a diagnosis for our wet ceiling. Given we’d spotted their vans around our neighborhood, we decided to give Dean’s a try. So happy we did! Just when you think customer service is dead forever…in walk Nathan and Cole perfectly punctual and super personable! Dealing with a new water heater and softener in a VERY small space there were a few challenges that they solved using their expertise and collaboration with multiple technicians. Impressive team work resulting in an excellent installation! Not only did they patiently answer my many questions, they left my home cleaner than when they arrived. It’s much easier making that final payment when you feel you have received quality work. Dean’s Home Service is now at the top of my list.

Nobody wants find out they have run into a serious plumbing issue, but working with the team at Deans made it a little easier.Joshua was a great tech I met first and he had to break the bad news. Alan came out same-day and was able to identify the problems and get a technician to start the work later that day and they were finished by lunch the next day. Brandon, the plumber who provided the service, did a great job. I didnt like the amount that I had to pay, but Deans were considerably less than a previous quote from a local competitor and the quality of service and overall experience was much higher.

When we moved back to Minnesota, we bought a fixer upper condo in St Paul. We needed an electrician. Luckily we found Dean’s Home Services.From the instant we met Bryan P we knew right away we wanted to work with this company. He was neat ,clean, and very professional.We explained what services we wanted, and he took the time to explain the process of the job.He was very knowledgeable.When he returned to do the work with Dylan, also very professional, they got right to it, answered any questions we had before starting and during the job. Dylan was called to an emergency job, but before he left, got a good start on the project.Bryan went above and beyond. When we discovered we had cement walls, he figured out a way to do the lighting in the bathroom that was pure genius. It looks beautiful.Bryan and Dylan were genuinely so nice, kind and patient.Bryan returned to make sure everything was good, and we were 100% satisfied. We were and we are going to share our rock star experience with our neighbors and friends.Lastly we are going to work with Brian B, as soon as the bathroom is ready for a plumber. We met him as well, also professional, and very nice.In conclusion we highly recommend Dean’s Home Services, and am sure any professional who works with them will do an excellent job.

Due to the free HVAC inspection that members get annually, they found some urgent gas leaks that needed immediate attention.Steven R., Matthew W., and Nolan J. were the 3 techs I worked with to get this resolved.... all were extremely great, understanding, approachable, and friendly. Excellent customer service from top to bottom, including the support folks at their dispatch office.The gas leak problem was found on a Friday and they were able to schedule the fix for the immediate Monday so I was quite impressed with how fast that was able to happen.I highly, highly recommend using Deans and will continue to preach about their level of customer service to folks within my network. Turns out it was the main line so he brought out the bigger snake to work on that. Then brought Sam out with the camera to ensure that everything was cleared and no issues. Still have a little work to do, but again, they were both upfront about worst case scenarios and what they thought the issues could be. Both were super friendly and made sure I was informed throughout the entire process!Josh came out with a more powerful snake. Was able to break up some additional roots. Very nice and personal, yet professional- and again kept me informed of the process as he went.

I appreciated his patience in answering my many questions about system options, costs and timeframes. He had done many jobs very similar to my main drain clog on a 100 year old Minneapolis home. He let me know my further-future options on my very old underground drain system. Even though he had some difficulties with clearing my main pipe to street....the invoice was the same as quote given to me a day earlier by a separate technician from Deans. I cant be more happy with the service from Deans. Filled out the online quote Friday night around 8:30-9:00 and received a phone call Saturday morning to schedule service and Cody B was available Saturday afternoon. I couldnt believe it. He came over and was polite and honest. He didnt try to sell us the best option. He quoted out good, better, best and then explained the differences between the 3. Best part about it was when we told him that this wasnt our forever home he actually recommended the good option. Based on that and also how we got along we didnt even want to quote out other companies. We felt so comfortable with him and how he treated us that we said yes right away. To top it all off, this took place on a Saturday and when asked how far out install time was he said they could be out to install on Tuesday! A 3 day lead time? No brainer! I would definitely recommend Deans to anyone looking for an honest non-pushy assessment of any service they provide!

He & his colleague told us that, even though they had worked on it, they could not get the drainage to work. The two options he offered for fixing the drain situation were at price points of approximately $3900 & at $2800. We were charged about $350, IIRC, for working on the tub drain (which still was not fixed & did not drain), which could be applied, he said, toward the cost of either of those service options, if they did that work within 30 days.We decided we wanted to get a second opinion, & he said, Fine. But well be glad to come back next week & take care of it for you, if you want to get on our schedule! We said we didnt mind bailing out the tub for a few days while we considered our options.So, after he left, we called our regular drain-clearing person (who was out of town but would be back in a couple of days, he said).Meanwhile, we got pretty good at bailing out the tub! ;-)Three days later, our regular drain-clearing fellow came over & got our tub draining nicely. Took him an hour or so?He charged us $350. We then told him about our experience with the Deans team. He said if he had not been able to get the tub to drain, he would not have charged us anything. We told him about the service options the Deans team had proposed, & he said a more likely cost of such work should be, ballpark estimate, about $1500.So, our tub is still draining fine for now...fingers crossed that it will continue to do so.

Alan, with Dean’s Home Service, was able to quickly diagnose a problem I was having regarding why my water softener was not giving me soft water. After inspecting the plumbing in my townhome today, it was determined that in order to have the softener perform well, some new plumbing would need to be installed. I feel the quote Alan gave me was very fair, and set it up where the work could be done the next day. I’m so thankful that he was able to quickly figure out the problem, and am thoroughly looking forward to having nice, soft water soon! I rarely do reviews, but I feel Alan deserves a high five! We called Deans for an emergency electrical situation in our kitchen because our usual electrician couldnt come out for a few days. Matt Z was our electrician--he was absolutely wonderful! He explained the situation in our kitchen thoroughly, offered several options to address the issue, and was very helpful in answering our many questions. He got to work in the kitchen and soon discovered our breaker box was overheating, which meant we needed a new electrical panel. He came out a few days later with another electrician and completed the work--but he didnt just complete that project. He also very meticulously and carefully removed the paneling and modified the built in shelving/cabinet unit around the panel to accommodate the new one. He made a new door for the cabinet and mitigated the impact to the structure. Amazing! We so appreciated his care with the project and excellent communication. As far as the company, I have to say we have been so impressed! Deans was prompt with their communication and the payment options were super helpful and clear. We are now part of the club, too, and they have got our business for the foreseable future!

First this may be long- called on Sunday for furnace repair of not coming on and fan blowing constantly plus the a/c unit was trying to run even though it was set on heat Eric came out to look at furnace he was very attentive to what I told him the furnace was doing and proceeding to inspect with his equipment and gaugeshe metered all the outlets on the furnace and they seemed to be working then went to thermostat and found the culprit of wires being to close furnace and a/c that is why both were trying to run at the same time he fixed that and it was running fine and stayed to see if the furnace went through the cycles in the meantime he checked pressure levels and found the carbon was running a wee bit elevated and adjusted that also was good to know that was fixed as it could be deadly for us continued to keep us informed as to what he was doing and always asked if we had any questions I waited for a couple of days to do review as I wanted to make sure it was working properly I was very happy with the pricing for a Sunday What I was truly happy with is this is a mobile home (manufactured not r/v) as the majority of hvac people would not even come and looked at it. Eric stated that this was a regular house furnace (really dont understand why no one will work on it. He was GREAT and the office people always kept us up to date as when he would arrive. I woke up to my basement floor drain backing up and raw sewage flooding into workshop. The first thing I did was call Deans Home Services. Edward showed up an hour later and knew exactly what to do. He was kind, friendly, knowledgable and diligent. Edward went through all the pricing options and explained exactly what he would recommend and how he was going to solve the problem. I had Josh s. Come out and I swear to God he saved my house it was flooding so bad and the pipes are so old between his recommendations for qualified people to do the job and his work itself has saved me so much I definitely appreciate and highly recommend Josh and the company theyve been a godsend. 💯💪🏾🥂 So Josh referred Bennett b to get more information because I need invasive work done and then it was able to get me some extra deals still have to pay tens of thousands but due to the fact that the house needs such extensive updating the deal they were able to get me was amazing Im definitely grateful for Josh and Bennett and Edward that all have came out at the house 💯

We had our A/C go out on our home this weekend. I called Deans to schedule service for later in the week thinking they would charge extra on-call rates but it was no different and they fit me in that same day.They dispatched the A/C specialist named Eric. He was professional, personable, informative, and overall dynamic. Now I work in Restoration, so I can find a leak, but fixing it is a different matter. He listened attentively while I showed him the problem and explained the process of the diagnostics he was doing, transparent but not condescending. It felt like a collaboration even though I was just a long for the ride; I was interested in the process and he cheerfully engaged me. Customer service was off the charts.Unfortunately, the A/C unit was not repairable, so Eric walked me through the options available. He never once pushed one particular solution but weighed each evenly with cost and comfort in mind. He was very knowledgeable on rebates and other incentives available which eases the cost of replacement. He helped me get it scheduled for the end of the week.They say that who you are is who you are at work. To a man like Eric, this job seems more like a calling to him. He has a keen situational awareness of his customer, the situation, and his place in it as an expert and representative of his company. You can see he genuinely delights in helping other people and sharing his knowledge. Its a type of integrity you cant train. Genuinely asked him if he was an Eagle Scout of something haha. Sometimes employees will ask for a review for good service but he never did. I dont think he does hard work for others praise. Seems like thats just who he is.If all Deans employees carry themselves like him, then they truly have something amazing going on. Thanks Eric!To follow up, we had Andy K. come out to do the install. Unfortunately I was not home for the majority of the repair so I can not write half as much, but I was notified in good time when he was coming. I stopped by my house and saw he was working hard. He asked if I had any questions and answered the ones I had. He was very polite and professional. I wish I had been around so I could say more. New A/C is working great! Thanks Andy!

Eric inspected our newly-installed sump pump to verify its working ok; he also explained its function, alarm system, how to check for water in the basket, etc. So far, so good! No activity means no water in the basement, at least visibly. He also located the other shut off valve for outdoor faucets and opened both, checking for normal operation. All good. Thanks for professional service, as in past visitsToday, another Erik came to replace cartridges for old outdated faucets and it was clear they all needed replacement. Cory installed new water heater and water softener, desperately needed as our city water is very hard and full if minerals, chalky and white. Water now is a dream, soft and much better tasting. Nathan installed two new bathroom faucets, cleaned up nicely and even cleaned the drains/pipes! He cheerfully exchanged the two faucets ordered as they were the incorrect color/finish, returned and got them in very quickly. A wonderful experience with Deans plumbing. They also brought furnace filters which we had forgotten about. Exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable and forgiving of ignorant consumers questions! I recommend Deans fir fast, courteous service, even same-day!Today,7/31, we had another visit from Deans. Ben was a helpful and professional installer of our new Moen kitchen faucet. He worked with me in understanding that I didnt want the sprayer but a soap dispenser instead. He still had to attach the sprayer but tucked it away carefully if and when we ever need it. The base plate covers the two unused holes leaving a very nice clean look. Very satisfied. Quality product. Thanks for your flexibility, Ben, and for assuring this customers satisfaction
