From start to finish it was so nice working with Atlantic Electric! We hired them to replace ungrounded, somewhat ancient, and definitely haphazardly installed electrical work in our 1915 home. They were so respectful and thoughtful, and when they uncovered more problems with our electrical as they went along they made sure to communicate clearly with me when plans and pricing would need to change. It was a breath of fresh air to work with such kind people who put a lot of thought and care into their work. They also are very neat and clean, leaving minimal mess along the way!

I hired Steven to install a subpanel in my garage so that I can turn it into a workshop, as Im a hobbyist woodworker. The existing wiring to the garage just didnt provide enough power for the tools I will be using.Steven came out to discuss my project and to look over my existing setup, and it was immediately clear that he was really interested in helping me find the best solution for my project. I was honest with him that I had talked to a few other electricians prior to him and told him their suggestions. Without criticizing the other electricians, he was very candid about potential faults with some of their ideas.For example, one electrician had suggested installing a separate meter to my garage. This had a certain appeal to me when I first heard the idea, but Steven pointed out that such an approach would have to be approved by the utility company first and could take much longer than the timeline I had in mind would allow for.After discussing all the potential ways we could make my project happen, Steven and I landed on an approach that checked all of my boxes: it avoided needing to dig underneath my sidewalk, it avoided putting a big ugly meter on the yard side of my garage, and it didnt require the utility company to weigh in and slow down the project.Words cannot describe how pleased I am with Stevens work! He was prompt, professional and tidy, but most of all, he did a great job! I cant wait to fully build out my shop with his work as the critical first step. I would definitely hire Steven again for future electrical needs!

I would highly recommend Atlantic Electric. Steven replaced my old Federal Pacific Electrical Panel that is a supposed fire hazard. I needed it to be done fairly quick for the house sale to close. Steven was flexible, prompt and affordable. He wont rake you over the coals. He gives you a fair honest price. Very satisfied and will be saving his business card and letting all my friends know and my realtor because I am sure he may come across other electrical issues needing repair.

Atlantic / Steven was absolutely fantastic for us. We needed a 20amp circuit ran for our pool pump and heater, and I could not have asked for better work. He worked with us on options, and did a fast and fantastic job with what we needed. I was absolutely floored by how good the quality of his work was, and I can’t imagine calling anyone else. His prices were so reasonable, and Steven and his crew are so friendly. If you need electrical work in the area, do not hesitate to give Atlantic a call.

Had a minor disaster in the kitchen in 2021, needed a demo and rebuild during pandemic. Ouch, right! Reached out to multiple electricians. Stevens response was quick, honey and compassionate to my needs. He was able to expedite service and proved quite flexible when other contractors backed up our plan through shoddy work. Steven made the adjustments on the fly and kept our job as close to on track as possible. Steven was honest when he discovered our house was wired with aluminum, and advised in helping us bring our home up to safe standards. His work was quality. If your lucky enough to get on his schedule you will find him honest, fair, fast, efficient, dependable friendly, helpful and he works clean. Im looking forward to my next project using Atlantic Electric LLC.Even the city electric inspector expressed great confidence in Steven.

Steven is a professional through and through. I originally hired him because I tried to install a ceiling light, discovered I have good ol knob and tube wiring, and the wires were super frayed.I looked around and got discouraged by a lot of the big corporations and their reviews. I saw for Atlantic Electric that he is especially good with old houses (like mine!). He came out and saw there were quite a few issues and made my home safe right away that day! I would imagine some of the competitors would either not care about telling me, or try to sell me something I really didnt need at all. I didnt feel this way at all. He installed my new light and made it safe to use.I ended up hiring him for a home re-wire shortly after. He installed new ceiling lights, and honestly, I was expecting my walls to look like swiss cheese but there was hardly anything I have to patch up!What I really like about Steven is he is very thorough and he does things the right way. He also knows how to explain things to people like me who dont know much about electrical panels and wiring and translates that into something understandable. He also listens to your concerns and addresses them accordingly.I was very anxious before I contacted Steven, but I know I absolutely made the correct choice in an electrician. It was a pleasure having him come to my home to keep me and my family safe.If you are on the fence for some reason, just stop. Call him or email. You will not regret hiring Steven and Atlantic Electric.

Checked all the boxes. I sold my home and removed my ring doorbell in preparation for my move. When I re-installed a standard doorbell it didnt work! With less than a week remaining before the new owners took possession, I scrambled for a solution. I found good reviews for Atlantic Electric so gave them, among others, a call. They responded same day and made efforts to resolve the issue by phone at no cost. While very helpful, we were not able to solve the problem by phone. I made an appointment for two days out. I did not get anything like this treatment from the four other calls I made, in fact, most did not return my call. Prior to the appointment I replaced my transformer and chime, just in case and in anticipation (and fear :)) of the potential costs I was about to incur. Steven troubleshoot and found the issue. He was determined to repair the doorbell and innovative in his approach (broken wire buried and unmovable within the door frame) - the charge was reasonable, work was of good quality, response time was quick and Steven showed up at the promised time. All good!!

After buying a house with a lot of old wiring, we hired Steven to update the fuse box to a circuit panel and replace the old knob-and-tube wiring. Steven quoted a reasonable price and was very transparent and flexible any time a new issue emerged in the project. We were able to replace all the old wiring, and Steven was able to find solutions any time a problem cropped up. He went above and beyond to finish the project before we fully moved in. It was a pleasure working with Atlantic Electric and we will keep them in mind for any future electrical projects.

Atlantic Electric LLC did an absolutely superb job upgrading the electrical supply in the home and garage owned by my brothers estate. The home was built in 1916 and in need of extensive repairs when my brother died. I began the process of repairing the property for sale by searching for an honest, professional, and communicative licensed electrician to conduct and prepare a written inspection of the property. I could not have been more impressed with the thoroughness of Mr. Bannisters oral and written reports!I engaged Atlantic Electric LLC to perform all of the electrical work needed to bring the home into compliance with current electrical codes. Throughout that lengthy and expensive process, Mr. Bannister kept me informed, explaining issues and providing photographs to illustrate various problems. I am very, very pleased with the results of his work, and I highly recommend Atlantic Electric to anyone who wants a job done right.

Steven is fantastic. He responded to my call right away, was out within a few days to inspect my bathroom, and sent me a quote. He managed the entire project, including subcontracting a roofer and HVAC. He even made sure to schedule everyone to come out on the same day so the work could be done in a single morning. As a first-time homeowner, I was nervous about a bathroom vent installation, but Steven explained everything clearly and was very transparent about cost, timeframe, and expectations. Even better, he actually responded to emails in a timely manner. Ill be keeping Steven in my contact list for any electrician needs.

Well this guy Steve was awesome, what ever I asked he would always accommodate and when asked his honest opinion about something he was very helpful in designing my new construction with lights ,spa tub , set up with in wall TVs and lots of fixtures, and most of all he listens when you as the client talks...DOWN TO EARTH RESPECTFUL GUY
