Bob is the absolute best! Our boiler stopped working properly right before the winter season. Bob came out quickly to take a look and had the job completed within the week. I called Bob when I had a water backup in the basement (due to a sewage ejector pump failing to cycle). Although he was busy and unable to physically come look at it, he took time and walked me through the process to diagnose the problem, finding that it was a stuck float.With his help I was able to bypass temporarily the float, flushed out the pump and everything works again.I will certainly call Bob Fitzgerald again when I need more plumbing help.

Went to Aubuchon to buy toilet gut parts and was asking questions about how universal is universal. Bob was walking in and gave me sage advice about clearing the tank and checked to make sure the package had everything I needed. Bob also gave me his number in case I got into trouble. Two hours later, with tank bolts so completely rusted they wouldnt budge, I gave Bob a call. He was at my door in less than 30 minutes, removed the bolts with his power tool and had me all squared away in about 45 minutes. What a God send!

When we called for help for a major leak Bob was upfront that he was backed up and couldn’t help us for a long time. But he took a half an hour of his own time on the phone with us to help stop the leak and make suggestions to help us in the meantime, even helping to narrow down what it might be. I will definitely call him the next time we have a need.

Bob is the hands down the best tradesman Ive ever dealt with. Got on the phone with me right away and helped me diagnose my issue. He was timely in scheduling an appointment, and checked on our situation every day to make sure it hadnt gotten worse before he could get over to fix it. He did fantastic work, was clean, respectful, and affordable. I will certainly call him again if I ever need it. If youre looking for a plumbing/heating professional that actually treats you like a human being and explains what theyre doing and why, Bob is your man.

Bob was such a pleasure to work with! He did an excellent job moving pipes that were unexpectedly found while knocking down a wall as part of a reno. He is incredibly responsive, and communicates clearly and concisely. He made sure my husband and I understood the work to be done and was transparent around budget from the start. He is also polite, professional,and very reasonably priced. He will literally be the only plumber I work with moving forward. Highly recommend!

Bob the Plumber of Fitzgerald Plumbing & Heating was a lifesaver during the record-breaking cold snap we had recently. My mother-in-laws boiler stopped working and her pipes froze. He took my call after hours on a Saturday and told me how to get the boiler running. As if that werent enough, when the pipes unfroze the following day, Bob asked me questions via text to help me troubleshoot, then stayed on the phone with me when he finished for the day to talk me through how to replace her shower cartridge which went flying off the wall when the water came rushing back on.Bob earned a couple of customers for life. Called to schedule an appointment he said he was booked util after the holidays. Asked what my problem was I explained all my plumbing fixtures were humming when 1st turned on. He talked me through making an adjustment to the pressure reducing valve. It worked!! 1st thing he answered the phone! 2nd he didn’t just say booked, bye. 3rd thing he took 5-10 minutes to explain how to make an adjustment that might not be a fix but it’s a temporary remedy that will be appreciated by me and my holiday visitors. It took us just a few minutes to figure out the problem, why it happened and how to keep it from happening again! Off to call an electrician to get the wiring changed! Great service and great guy! This is BOB FITZGERALD the owner.I’ll say thanks for the good reviews andNO THANKS to the two liars that twist the truth.The lady Shar is a complete liar. She paid me for the work completed and didn’t seem to understand that further charges would be made once the rotten floor was repaired where the hot water tank went. This lady let the leash go for so many years that the subfloor was completely rotten.The second customer I definitely worked for for the past couple years and she herself told me to fix the tub drain which I did and then she showed me another leak on a toilet that needed a major repair and seem to think that I would do that repair for free when it was two separate problems. So it looks like she’s another liar as well. I’m a good plumber.....a good person .....and I treat people fairly .....(since I was a baby) Liars & cheaters I don’t care for.🍀🇺🇸🍀🇺🇸🍀🇺🇸

Bob & his apprentice worked fast and efficient and were able to install a new hot water heater - expansion tank and change s value in just shy of 3 hours . It was the first time we had something major done to our home we recently purchased in the chaos of 2020. I purchased my own hot water heater and Bob was able to work with The HTP I bought it out of state which saved us a couple thousand - also Bob new where I could of purchased a used one if I didn’t already have one. He is a master plumber and didn’t over talk or try to sell you anything you didn’t need - it was refreshing to have that. Bob apprentice worked very hard, was very strong , took direction well, and even wrote up a detailed involve. I highly recommend Bob & his team are great ! I was very stressed out over hot water heater failing a week before a holiday week and had a deadline to get it done by and Bob really came through ! Do not hesitate to call him or waste your time with anyone else! He does amazing work !

Bob installed a sump pump as part of a project in my basement. Two months after install, I had a question and needed some troubleshooting - I texted Bob, Bob called me and helped.Flash-forward two years to yesterday: I had a backflow issue with my laundry after some heavy rain that led to some potentially flooding. Someone else I had take a look only worsened the problem.So I texted Bob.He called me, and helped.Good advice over the phone, takes the time to understand the problem, gave me a stop-gap solution, and then offered I call him back.That’s how you take care of clients. I called Bob for help with a water heater issue. Although he was busy, he was very professional/responsive and took the time to help with phone support, he spent a good amount of time going through some quick troubleshooting items and ultimately directed me to VGS for help with a boiler igniter replacement. I will defiinitely be calling Bob again for any plumbing/heating issues in the future.

Our boiler stopped working and we had no hot water. He said he didn’t work on the kind I owned but he would send me a picture of the valve that could be causing the problem. He tallied me through how to open and as he thought tie boiler fired up! Even though he didn’t device the boiler I owned he was willing to help me and help me fix it. I wish my boiler was one he worked on because I would call him for servicié when we need it. Thanks Bob!
