    We had a HVAC system installed. Andrew, Justin, all the installers and office staff were absolutely wonderful! Very polite, arrived on time , professional and friendly. Each part of the team knew how to do their part of the job. We ran into a few kinks with the A/C but Andrew knew exactly how to fix them. I feel like Andrew went the extra steps to make sure we were taken care of and pleased with our new system. Highly recommend this company.

    5 Stars is most accurate. All of the reviews are spot on. It is hard to add any additional compliments to the great all around service you receive from Southern Efficiency. I have known Vince and his parents for quite some time, and they are such honest and respectful people. Vince and his crew, plain and simple, know what they are doing. They not only know what they are doing, they have a deep respect and consideration for the customer and it shows in their respectful conduct, punctuality, cleanliness, and of course the professional job. In addition, their pricing is very fair. 2 thumbs up in all areas.

    I wanted a Mitsubishi system and they tried their hardest to get one with supply chain issues. Instead they were able to get the Daikin Fit system. I am impressed with the quality and energy savings this system has brought me. I was quoted 3 prices and the Daikin was the middle price with the best seer rating and energy efficiency. And it was not much more expensive than the lowest seer offering with thenTrain system they quoted. On installation day Daikin sent out 2 company reps for Quality check and walked me through everything the system offers. I was told when the system is on it uses as much energy as 2 ceiling fans. I checked my meter and it did not move faster when the system was on. This system is super quiet also. You can barely hear it come on. The only way you know it’s running is the cool air you feel from the vents. Also Daikin has a 12 year warranty.Southern efficiency had the best prices out of 4 competitor quotes and the best quality when compared to other friends who recommended competitors.

    I called American Plumbing, Heating and Cooling on July 4th because my exterior a/c fan motor was inoperable. They scheduled an appointment for the next day. Joey arrived on time and found the root cause of my a/c issues. He kept me informed of his findings and the repairs. He did not leave until the a/c was blowing a cool 65 degrees. Thank you Joey and American PHC for bringing comfort back into my home.

    I was very pleased With the service I received. Andrew install a split unit air conditioner for me couple years ago and he remembered all about it. He made my home heating and cooling system run more efficiently. Give me advice on what filter I should be using. Then he tidied up all the mess the Builder installer left in there. Then he sent me a detailed report of what he found what he recommended an estimate on any repairs it might need .I gave Andrew an excellent times 10. Glad to do business with them.

    Albey and Justin were very professional technicians. They both took their time to explain what the issue was and breakdown and educate me on how HVAC systems work in depth. I learned quite a bit from their visit which isnt typical because most techs just come do work and leave without explaining what they did and why. I would definitely recommend these two technicians if youre looking for honesty and professionalism.

    I just want to say how professional and efficient Joey Maglio was servicing my AC. He went through everything step by step that he tested. He showed me the results of every test he performed.     Southern Efficiency‘s price for the new installation of the unit was very competitive. The unit was installed quickly and has been working very efficiently. I am 100% happy with that. About nine months after the new installation the HVAC stopped working. I called their office and they were able to send somebody within a few hours, initially I was told it would be before 5 PM but then they ended up coming after five. Which wasn’t a problem at all but the tech called me after getting there after realizing it was a bad breaker on the electric panel. He explained to me that wasn’t covered by their warranty, and that I’d have to pay an after hours service charge. And that he would have to come back to replace the breaker with the right one and I’ll be charged again for another service charge plus a $125-150 for the special order part. I was a little unhappy to hear about that because it was a lot of charges for one breaker and initially I was told it would be covered by the warranty , so I called the office the next day and spoke with somebody and they explained to me that yes, all the charges were legitimate. I approved the new estimate for them to return and replace with the correct breaker. Someone from the office called me the next day, stating that they made a mistake, and that the first service charge was not correct, and that I would receive a credit towards the next visit. I was happy to hear this however, I had already called the office and spoke with the tech and would rather have gotten it right the first time. Overall very good company, professional, reasonable cost on installation. Communication was just a little iffy.

    Its August and unbelieveable hot, even for Florida! Our a/c quit and its 80 inside even with the fans going when I called Southern Efficiency, at 7:30 in the morning. A sweet sounding lady, Nora, answered. She promptly scheduled an a/c appointment for that afternoon. Later that morning, they contacted me to ask, if it was alright to move up our appointment. when the technician finished the previous repair. The technician, Brandon Cryer was very polite, knowledgeable and professional. He patiently answered our questions. He found and fixed the problem quickly, and corrected a potential future a/c over service issue we had for 7 year, from a previous companys a/c installation. Identifiying and fixing that saved us paying a huge, future repair bill! The total repair was completed, by Brandon, in a timely manner. And it was done at a reasonable charge.We are so glad that the previous company, which did not service our area anymore, recommended Southern Efficiency. Thanks to them our house is comfortably cool again.

    We just had our dryer vent cleaned by Adam and Andrew of Southern Efficiency. The system we have is vented out a highly pitched roof-making it well beyond the skills of the average home owner. The communication was excellent. They texted when they were coming and explained in detail what they had done. They even fixed the damper and shortened the vent hose for no additional charge. I would highly recommend.

    After 16 years of service, we finally had to replace our heat pump. Although Southern Efficiency wasnt the lowest quote we received, the professionalism and knowledge of Evan, who came to the house & prepared the estimate convinced us that this was the company to go with. We also wanted to use a local Navarre company. The installers, Liam & Andrew were great. They worked super hard, and didnt leave until the system was working perfectly.     My dryer vent to the outside was clogged with debris and was affecting the cycle of my (brand new dryer). Joey was able to remove the patio boards and blow out the debris after multiple times. My vent/duct had not been serviced for a very long time. Joey was diligent and professional throughout the entire process. He offered some helpful tips and possible re-work of the venting system. I called and a lady picked up the phone and showed her concern about our ac out due to it being 90 degrees outside. She sent us a technician immediately, and he explained what the cause of problem was and showed me so I could grasp a better understanding of it; he temporarily fixed our ac before getting us a whole new unit. The salesman explained what we needed and nothing extra, and I really appreciated that. I feel I can trust this company and I highly recommend it.

I did installs and new duct rough-ins, etc. I have adhd and i lose focus allot, but i also focus a lot on what interests me. Efficiency and capability and working with my hands interest me allot, and i have years and years of experience in vast fields of work.From framing carpentry, roofing, electrical, construction to plumbing, concrete, foundation prep, high voltage, remodeling to engine rebuilds transmission biuld etc...when i saw their attention to detail was nearing parallel to my standards. I was taken back quite a bit. Because attention to detail is everything, and it takes TIME.I might have to put in an application with these guys, lol. They might appreciate my efforts more than most.Im a little out of their service area, but they are awesome people to work with for sure.I love learning how they use new copper line sets AND thermostat wire with every new installation. Some places dont even do this and are just not reliable in the long run from contamination and irraticThese guys take the time to explain to you what you are getting and have great communication with the staff and get the jobs done in one day typically. These guys are top-notch,I can see they will be with you when you need them and there systems will last longer because while they do ti l these things noted above, I also see they purge the system with nitrogen while installing (this protects the copper from becoming oxidized in the presents of heat and oxygen when brazing sealing up the lines). This is key for me because you can get atleast 2year more service from a clean, pure, and fully sealed system.They set you up for trouble free operation from the start!Great quality standards, and im happy to leave this review because I know you wont regret asking these guys for help with your current system. Or your next one. I trust these guys.

    Vince & Josh arrived promptly on the day of planned install of my split unit! They are both very professional & extremely knowledgeable of their business. The unit appears to have belonged where they installed it all the time!There are no exposed wires or drains or insulation. This procedure took them time to make it look this way! There’s no question they know exactly what they were doing. As this install was in a stationary RV, there are irregularities you don’t have in a house. They had no issues in the confined space. It works amazingly. They hard wired it into my breaker box which took additional time for them.Then Josh took the time to return and explain all components of both parts, inside & outside.Along with showing me how the wireless WiFi remote features work.     I was texted a photograph of the salesman, Leonard Norris, prior to the appointment along with a short bio (he owns a Batmobile!) which I appreciated. Len was on time, professional, and easy to talk to. He quoted me two options and the financing was simple to set up. Actually, once the installation was under way, they discovered that I didn’t need the type of system they quoted me and sent me a new quote on the spot that was $1000 less and the tech was already on the way to get the new parts. Still only took a little over five hours to rip out my old system and install the new one. The technician, Dalton Sarver, was professional and thorough. He took the time to fully explain the new system and how to best maintain it. They left my condo as clean as it was before they arrived (unfortunately, lol).Five stars. Highly recommend.

    19JUN22: Anyone that follows my reviews knows that I do running reviews for service companies in my area. I had to request an emergency service today, and go figure, the only company with staff, that actually take care of the customer, is Southern Efficiency. I called in at 10 AM and they had me setup for emergency service early in the afternoon between 2 and 3 PM. So much for 2 to 3 PM because Aubrey Smith showed up at 12:30 PM and had me fixed up in under 30 minutes. Now, lucky for me the fix was simple for a blown start-up capacitor, but not even ACE Hardware carries capacitors for the larger AC systems most homes in my area have but Southern Efficiencys service techs have everything you need to get the job done. Thank you!!!!!18MAR22 Update: Today Southern Efficiency came out to my house despite all the weather warnings for today. Luckily, the time slot they gave me was free of rain so they were able to do a full HVAC service call. Aubrey Smith was very professional and was very accommodating as I shadowed him during the AC maintenance for my house. He thoroughly cleaned the air handler and the air condenser unit. He literally opened up the air condenser to get to the bottom of the unit to clean out all the pine needles and junk that had built up in it. He checked the amp draw of the air handler and the air condenser capacitors and told me the limits of the system and what the actual amp draws were. Luckily, all the parts were good. You can tell Aubrey has his stuff wired tight because the service van he was driving was very organized and clean. I would highly recommend this company for your HVAC needs. Need more companies like Southern Efficiency that understand what the words quality and service mean. Thank you again for doing an excellent job!!!PRIOR Review from 2021: This was my first time using Southern Efficiency and this was because Modern Air stopped servicing my area. Adam and Christian showed up right in the middle of the service window which was great. Because of Covid-19 I requested that they wear masks and they did so without any complaints and they put on shoe covers while working in the house. Both of them were very polite and professional the whole time they were working. They checked out everything required for an AC inspection and even found a capacitor that was going bad in my condenser which they repaired right away.     I was in a difficult position when I called around for repairs and they were the first company that called me back and the first company to show up and do exactly what they said they were going to do. The repairs were done the next day and were only delayed because they had to acquire the repair parts they needed. The repair guys were very professional and courteous and they knew exactly what they were doing and went above and beyond to repair my unit and leave me better than I was before. He even replaced a drain line because the one that was previously there was very flimsy and he did not like the way it looked so he went above and beyond and replaced it with a much sturdier PVC drain line.     Had them come out for service/cleaning and added the vent inspection to identify if there were any leaks to make sure I was getting the most out of my electric bill. They identified slow leak, repaired to see if it would hold and advised me on my warranty if not. Immediate 3 degree difference when done.     Woke up to frozen AC coils , I knew it was a matter of time before I would have to replace. Worked up an estimate for a 5 ton system and was pleasantly surprised by the price. They were able to service my old unit to limp it along until they could come out in 4 days to replace. The 2 gentleman that came out and replaced my unit were outstanding, went above and beyond to PROPERLY install new unit, do a complete checkout of the system, relocate thermostat to get a better reading, checked air flow, air leaks, cut out opening for a larger air intake a problem my old AC suffered from cleaned up like they were never there. I see why they have 140+ 5 star reviews and my first time giving a 5 star review.

    When it rains it pours, literally. A simple load of laundry turned into a few hours of living hell for Patrick Stewart. What a great guy. (They need to give this man a raise).     Jordan and DJ were great representatives for Southern Efficiency. They arrived at the previously determined time, cleaned our duct system thoroughly and treated our system for microorganisms and future growth issues. They were both pleasant gentlemen and explained the process before beginning the job. Once the job was done, they vacuumed the debris that resulted from the open vents. Highly recommend this company. They also offer a military discount!

    Southern Efficiency and our technician, Adam, hit a home run! Adam was on-time, and before he arrived I received a text--complete with photo bio--saying he was on the way. Nice touch!Adam was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. He even let me know the emergency heat was not hooked up--and then wired it so it was! He finished by cleaning out the outside unit, which had accumulated a lot of leaves and dirt. That could have led to problems down the line.Southern Efficiency even made it easy to write this review--now THATS efficient 😀All in all, my experience with the company, and with Adam was an absolute pleasure! Highly recommended.

    I started calling around as soon as I realized my dryer vent was full of water and southern efficiency was able to get here within an hour of me calling. The other company I had called previously couldn’t get out here until a few days later. They fixed the problem in less than an hour and couldn’t have been any nicer.     Ok, so, our A/C died on Saturday. These guys sent out specialist on Sunday afternoon, about 30 min after I called. After evaluating a problem Mark gave us an estimate for the local area that blew my mind. So, I told him so. And you know what this nice man said dont worry, we will take care of you. It is so rare, in this day and age, to see a professional who knows his job from A to Z that has such a compassion for other human beings. It was fixed in a TIMELY manner and very AFFORDABLE price, considering what it should have cost us. I would recommend this company to anyone in need.     My AC went out at around 2 PM on 12 September. I didnt realize it until about 4 pm but then had to go to work for 12.5 hours. On my way to work I scheduled an appointment for arrival between 8-10 AM on Sunday Sept 13th. Upon arrival in the 0900 hour they spent all the time necessary investigating my issue. I did heat and air back in the early 2000s before joining the military and had some knowledge and was impressed with the amount of knowledge the technician knew. I was also very thankful as after working a 12.5 hour shift I did not trust myself and my aged knowledge to effectively diagnose the issue. The issue ended up being loose wires in part of the furnace disconnect box that caused it to trip, as well as a clog somewhere between the outside and the drain pan that was causing some water accumulation in the furnace area.     They have to be one of the best AC repair services I’ve used. My unit, in Florida panhandle, quit blowing cold air at 4pm. Called around and got either next day or later responses. Called Southern Efficiency and Kyle was at my place before 5pm. He was very professional, understanding, and quick to troubleshoot and repair the problem. This is a five star company.

    On July 25th we woke up to no a/c. Called Southern Efficiency at 7:00am. A tech arrived at my house at 8:30am. Repair was made and my a/c was working again by 9:15am. It doesn’t get any better than this!!! From the office staff to the crews in the field, Southern Efficiency is the best a/c company in the panhandle. Put their number in your phone. You won’t need another a/c company.
