Bought a shade this week and revitalized a beloved lamp of my mother’s. Nice selection and excellent service — salesman did a helpful show and tell with multiple options.Many compliments already on the new shade already, and we’re very happy. Maybe a few bucks more than big box stores, but we want (and need) local shops like this. If you’re after the best lamps and lamp shades Louisville offers, give these guys a try.

I’ve take two different lamps to be repaired here. I made my decision to come here based off the rave reviews. I have nothing but great things to say. Both my lamps were fixed beautifully, timely & done so at a fair price. They were both damaged by movers and they both belonged to my late mother so they had sentimental value. He was very kind and went above and beyond. You can tell this is his passion. Look no further if you need repairs or even to purchase a lamp or shades.

We have a pole lamp that we purchased from a major retail chain and the switch that controlled the top lights stopped working correctly and the lights would flicker and go off. We like the lamp and we hated to throw it away since it was only a little over a year old. We selected B&B Lamp for the repair after reading their other Google reviews and speaking to the owner. I agree with the other Google reviews. This business and the owner are fantastic!!! He was able to replace the switch and now the lamp works great again!!! The repair was quick and at a reasonable price. We will definitely use them again and will definitely recommend them to our friends and family.

I brought my table lamp in to be fixed. It wasnt turning on even with a new bulb. It was fixed overnight and now works again beautifully. The repair price was very reasonable especially considering how quickly it was fixed.

My wife purchased a large chandelier at an auction or an estate sale or somewhere which we immediately dubbed the beast. This thing was huge and had a few minor flaws. A broken arm and some wiring problems. We took it to B & B Lamps and Shades to have it repaired. The owner took one look at it, marveled at its size and said no problem. He went over the repair, set a time frame, gave me an estimate. I left it in his capable hands. Two weeks later the lamp was repaired and ready to go. I couldn’t even tell which arm was repaired. I found the work was excellent and at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend B & B Lamps and Shades to anyone.

I had three lamps that I just didnt like. I looked for months and finally decided the lamps fit my decor - it was the shades that looked so old fashioned and wrong for my living room.I now have three absolutely stunning lamps. My room looks totally updated and thats all I needed. The owner recommended the shades and sizes. And helped me get it all in the car as well. I am so happy I decided to go to B&B. Actually I went there about four years ago and still love what was done with my bedroom lamp - some minor adjustments and a paprika colored shade to match the decor in that room.

We got two beautiful lamps from B & B for our wedding. They are very nice and high quality. You can get any old lamp from a department store, but if you really want something high quality that matches your decor, B & B is where you want to go.

This business and the owner are absolutely fantastic! I was a little too rough turning on my lamp switches and managed to break two of them. Dropped them both off at B & B and within two hours I received a call that both were ready for pick up! Better yet, the repair price was less than the cost of one lamp. If youre in the market for lamp repair or lamp shades this is definitely where you need to go. And dont forget, SUPPORT LOCALLY OWNED BUSINESSES!

The gentleman who is there (i think his name is David) is incredibly nice and accommodating to fix and/or decorate your lamps! I brought in some pretty rough looking glass terrarium lamps and he was careful with them, putting on new equipment for an affordable price! Definitely recommend for buying/fixing lamps!

One of the best shopping experiences Ive had in a long time! I knocked my lamp over while cleaning and busted the shade. Googled lamp shades in Louisville. B&B Lamps and Shades suggested to bring the lamp to find a shade. I drove to the shop and found the perfect shade in 20 minutes.
