I called Mr. Sparky on the recommendation of a friend of mine in the home building business. We had a breaker AND outlet go bad. Mr. Sparky had someone at our house within two hours of calling. Alex Burke was the electrician who came to our house. Alex was very professional, very communicative, and really enjoyable to have in our home. He had everything replaced and we were up and running in no time. I would absolutely recommend Mr. Sparky and Alex to anyone who needs electrical work done in the Louisville area.

I appreciate the work that was done by Payton, the timeliness and professionalism of him and the staff of Mister Sparky exceeded my expectations. He did a checkout of the work that was done and cleaned up the area afterwards. He was educational when answering questions about the project and sharing details about the company he works for. He stayed positive and carried an overall good demeanor while doing the work even when encountering unexpected challenges. It is nice to call a company and on the same day have someone travel onsite to quote the project and do the work.

Daniel Grose was my technician and he arrived at my house near the beginning of the time window and solved my problem instantly. Long story short my house has an old alarm system that randomly decided to go off in the middle of the night while i was at work. I didn’t even realize the system still functioned. I couldn’t get it to shut off without hitting the circuit breaker it was on. I had him simply cut the wires to the siren and cap them off so i could have peace of mind about bothering my neighbors.

Mr. Sparky was great -- they were able to come the day after I called, they arrived within their 3-hour time window, and they resolved the issue within 90 minutes (we had lost power on a circuit, and they had to explore in the attic to figure out where the problem was). Also, they were very nice, and they came with their masks on and also wore booties inside the house. I had a previous electrician arrive without a mask, complain about wearing one, and then take it off while he was inside the house! Thank goodness I didnt have to worry about that with Mr. Sparky!

Paul and his apprentice, didn’t catch his name. came out to install a 240 line to my split ac unit. Didn’t have enough room in my box so he gave me options and a professional opinion on how we should do it. Decided to go with adding a breaker box split off to open up some more space. They installed the box and ran everything over to my unit and it looked awesome. Paul and his fellow apprentice where spectacular, very professional and excellent customer service. The price seemed extremely fair for the amount of work needed and I can’t express enough on how good they where, would recommend to anyone that needs work done and will definitely be using them again in the future.

Paul came out and looked at the wiring for our light fixture, came up with a plan, and worked quickly. He was very polite and professional. This company doesnt charge by the hour, instead they charge for the service. Im not sure if it is less or more expensive that way, but the pricing was reasonable. Most importantly, we needed someone today because our house is old and any electrical issue needs to be addressed right away. This company was the only one that could come out in a few hours, not a few days.

I was given several options for the repairs needed and was totally walked through exactly what they would be doing. Once we decided on the correct option for me they went to work. They explained if I had any problems going forward to call them and a service person would come out and check on the problem at no charge. I couldnt be happier with all they did, the time it took for the repairs, and the professional way they handled themselves. I would highly recommend Mister Sparky for anyone needing electrical work repairs. I actually came upon them by mistake when looking for an electrician, but Im really happy the mistake happened. Jonathon was beyond professional. We had blown a main breaker on a Sunday afternoon and had no power with a 5 month old baby at home. I called several of our local electricians with no luck until we found Mister Sparky. He arrived in a timely manner and quickly got to work diagnosing and providing solutions to our problem. He went above and beyond to not only work on a Sunday but to ensure our local electric company was aware and available to take care of things on their end even diagnosing something they could update and fix on our roof. He made quick work of replacing our panel and explaining how things worked as he went. In my book he went above and beyond service wise and we are forever thankful for his time. 4.29.21 Weve had various contracted services at our house since buying it four years ago because it began to show its age or lack of upkeep. We experienced two men that were Outstanding in electrical services!We went with Mr. Sparky without regret, they sent two of the most knowledgeable and personable young technicians that truly reflected the objectives of this company ! James Taylor and Zachary Henry were diligent, demonstrated expertise, and professional from start to finish.We gave them 5 lighting fixtures to install, a wiring run, outdoor lighting, add a electrical panel surge protector, but biggest job of all were two chandeliers with 15+ ceilings to replace outdated lighting. I doubt there is anything these two couldnt do.DO NOT HESITATE to use Mister Sparky but if you get these two gentlemen, dont be surprised by the professional performance and representation of the Company !

I cannot say enough positive comments about this company. I truly cant. I had problems with my electricity on a Sunday. My call was answered by an actual person and within two hours, Cliff was standing at my door ready to help problem solve the situation. He took his time to study the possible problems. He told me best case scenarios and worst case scenarios. He waited the entire time until LG&E showed up to confirm his findings. With my situation, unfortunately it turned out to be the worst case scenario but Cliff walked me through every single step and all of my options. Saying I was overwhelmed was an understatement. Cliff shared his cell phone number, answered all of my texts and constantly followed up with me for if/ when the county inspector was to contact me or come out to my home. He even helped my son get the generator started up for the night. That is someone that went way above and beyond any expectations Ive ever dealt with in a company. It is with HIGH recommendations that if you have ANY electrical questions, issues, or concerns that you contact Mister Sparky. Hopefully you will get Cliff, but as professional as all of their employees were then I would truly trust anyone that Mister Sparky sent to my home.

I called Mr. Sparky around 9:00 am on a Thursday morning. When I told them I was having a problem with my oxygen concentrator, they had someone there before 12:00 pm. Cliff arrived and was sweet, understanding, courteous, and professional. He made suggestions to help us out with the price and went to work. He went beyond the call of duty by working near out cat litter pan; he didn’t say a word. I can’t say enough positive things about Mr. Sparky, and I will continue to use them for my electric needs.

Lets start from the beginning. Another company we hired a contractor and had subpar work that we paid for and failed inspection. What to do? Call Mr. Sparky. Brooke in the front took my call and found an opening for today. She could have just charged me for a same day emergency service but she took the time and found a regular spot. Honesty. Check the box once. Daniel Grose came out (with a 20 minute call ahead) and in ten minutes we were diagnosed. Went through everything, gave us to up-front estimates and spoke professionally and personally about his thoughts on which one was going to be good for our situation. He even said he would not see the need for the costlier option instead of trying to sell us on it. Honesty. Check the box twice. He could not have worked more diligently or harder if he tried and within a few hours we had a meter box replaced, a second no longer needed, and a cohesive and inspection grade circuit setup in our original panel. Took care of getting LGE contacted and had us on the list to get the power back on by the end of the day. I see the reviews that are negative below and complaining about the price. Remember if you want to pay less for subpar work, please feel free to and learn the hard way as I did. If you want it done right the first time and get what you pay for, you call Mr. Sparky. If I ever found a business that I can honestly say that I would send my family to, it would be Me. Sparky. Thanks, Daniel!
