    Our furnace and air conditioner were replaced by ME Flow a few years ago. Emerson came this year to do our annual cleaning and inspection of our air conditioning unit. His work was terrific. In addition, I asked about the whole house air purification system, and he was able to tell us how it works, what it would provide *above our current filter system,* and how much it cost. He recommended surge protectors for both our indoor and outdoor units (which are relatively new). Having experienced summer surges in our area, we thought that was a good idea. Everything was able to be provided, installed, and up and running within 24 hours.Emerson is both knowledgeable and friendly; our Labrador was so excited to see him return today!We renewed our annual contract to have ME Flow continue come do our inspections and cleaning with the seasons.

    We have been customers of ME Flow since 1992. Once again they came through quickly, efficiently and solved our water heater issue. Sadly, the water heater needed to be replaced, but it was done in the same day in a few hours. We also take advantage of their annual contracts for heating, cooling and plumbing. ME Flow has been great for our home needs and I would highly recommend them for yours.

    We use ME Flow for all of our residential hvac and plumbing servicing. For HVAC, this was the first time Rutilio was assigned to our appointment. We recently had a new system installed so I didnt anticipate any problems but wanted to prepare for the summer months and using the a/c. Rutilio was so thorough. He spent several hours testing the system because he found a problem. He continued going back and forth between the thermostats on each floor, the main unit and the outside unit. He then took the time to explain the problem to me, document clear suggestions to address the problem and mapped out recommebdations with pictures of the parts, a summary of their function, an explanation of why hes recommending each suggestion and included the cost of each. He didnt leave until he was certain of the problem and that I understood all aspects. The ME Flow pricing seems fair to me for service calls. He was professional, courteous and respectful the entire time he was inside our residence. I highly recommend Rutilio and ME Flow.For Plumbing, we had Ulises respond to our appointment, also his first time to our house. We had an old house water filtration system in our basement that we were concerned was rusting. It was connected to the water pipes so required a plumber to remove or alter in any way. Ulises examined the filter and discoloration and took the time to explain the cause of what I was seeing. He gave me options regarding installing the new house water filtration system I bought so I could decide which option fit our situation best. He offered several additional options going forward and was patient in answering my questions. Changing our water filter is complex due to its location and water pipe connections. Ulises took the time to educate me about the basic plumbing flows, system pressures to be aware of, and demonstrated all of the functions of the water filtration system, so I could learn how to do it more efficiently and easily the next time. Ulises was professional, respectful, courteous and willing to take the extra time to make sure I understood the process. I highly recommend Ulises and ME Flow.

    Called for multiple repair needs and they were able to schedule a visit for the same day. Plumber, Melvin Morales, arrived in a timely manner and addressed all of my concerns/issues.     Jaimie Lazo and Carlos, his assistant, were the best HVAC technician’s I’ve had since Rodney worked as a tech. Without Rodney I switched to several of their competitors but was never impressed. So I returned to ME Flow several years ago, after adding a new system for an addition. To be honest, their quality of service and thoroughness was intermittent.Until Jaimie & Carlos came today. Jaimie explained why my system wasn’t cooling effectively, walked me through setting the thermostats to work better, and fixed it. I’ve owned my home in Old Town Alexandria for 20 years. This was the best HVAC check up and service I’ve experienced in this time. Would highly recommend these guys!

    I would like to thank Ulises and Nicholas for installing a new hot water heater. They had to work in a very confined space to get the old heater out and the new one in. They were very professional in explaining exactly what they were doing and took the time to lay down tarps and remove everything. Their professional demeanor and interpersonal skills were very evident and appreciated. I would also like to thank Rodney, the Operations Manager who was able coordinate getting the replacement and equipment executed with such a quick response. He is definitely a great leader and truly concerned with customer service.

    Shower cartridge failed and water flow would not shut off. Plumber came promptly and fixed the problem quickly and competently by replacing the faulty mixer cartridge. He had all the right tools and parts on his truck and clearly knew what he was doing. He was also very courteous, and he cleaned up after himself so that you would never know he was there. Not cheap, but absolutely worth every penny. I will call these folks again if I ever need a plumber.

    On 22 Dec 2020, Mr. Raul Pinto, Plumber for M.E. Flow Company came to fix our propane water heater. He was amazing. He was extremely thorough, conscientious, Knowledgeable and friendly.We have had a number of plumbers over the past five years and I can honestly state that he was the very best plumber that we ever had. Not only had he the expertise to do the job correctly the first time, but he had the high quality tools to accomplish it. We have the highest praise for him and the M.E. Flow Company.We will highly recommend the company and Mr. Pinto to our friends and community alike. We are so thankful for the excellent quality of the job and the representative of the company.

    We had a terrific experience working with ME Flow to install a heat pump and ductless heating/cooling systems in a part of our house. Our contact, Pete L., was knowledgeable and extremely helpful in helping us think through what we needed. He helped us get a good deal for our money and some savings with a rebate available on the website (always check and ask for these). Pete was patient with our many questions and explained things clearly to us. The work was done in two days by a great, skilled and knowledgeable team of professionals. They did everything really well, not cutting a single corner, and stayed to show us how to work the units. Two small openings had to be made in the drywall to install them, and ME Flow sent their drywall person, Joe, to repair these the same week as our installation, at no extra charge (good thing to confirm in advance with your ME Flow salesperson). These units have been a game changer in a part of our house that previously was impossible to keep warm in winter or cool in summer. Its so comfortable there now, and the inside and outside units barely make a sound when on. I would highly recommend this company for your heating and cooling needs, and the heat pump/wall unit combination as an efficient and environmentally conscious way to heat and cool that is so much more effective and better for the planet than an HVAC/duct system.

    They were available for same day service on a Saturday to snake our kitchen drain. They even rearranged the schedule to move us up in the queue. The coordinator Anne and plumber Melvin were very professional and courteous. The company utilized automated text notifications in real time for transparency. They were able to clear the drain quickly and cleanly.Overall very happy with their service! Only minor comment was that I had to wait on hold for a while before speaking to a representative, but that’s probably because it was a weekend. Otherwise great service.

    We needed to have our HVAC system *and* a water pressure booster pump replaced. We invited four companies to bid on the work, including M.E. Flow.After looking at the proposals we chose M.E. Flow because, while not being the least (or most) expensive, their suggested solution seemed the most thorough and they were also the most responsive.The work took several teams and needed several days to complete. Without exception, their technicians were polite, professional, and competent. When they finished I was impressed with how well everything worked and how clean they left everything. Perhaps even more impressive was that even after I paid them they were still blindingly responsive to the questions I had.Theyre going to be my first call the next time I need a repair that isnt covered by my home warranty, and Ill be recommending them to any of my friends and acquaintances who ask.

    Alex and Michael are superb ambassadors of professionalism for ME Flow. They are extremely experienced. They were very conscientious about respecting personal boundaries. They did not try to rip us off; to the contrary, they did everything possible to minimize our expense.Our five mini splits were covered by the ME flow service warranty. We think a midnight thunder storm caused the system to trip. Alex reset the system and also did the scheduled maintenance while he was there. The warranty contract calls for two on-site calls annually and this was the first. Because I called this in as a “restore service” call, I was charged for that type of service which is an additional charge, even though the system is tripped as part of the system check. I am waiting to see how this is resolved. Other than that, I have been served by ME Flow for over 20 years, and am extremely satisfied with their work.

    ME flow has serviced my heating and cooling systems at both my current and previous homes. When I first needed HVAC assistance, they were not the first company I called out, but they were the company that I called back out time after time based on their professionalism and integrity. I learn so much from each of their techs, who all tolerate my questions and help ensure I know what maintenance I can/should be doing in between their routine visits. The service agreement option pays for itself, and they are wonderful about scheduling and communicating. They can work with any system--the oldest cast iron boiler all the way to a mini split system, so if you have a combination of old and new theyve the expertise to service all at once.

    We needed a water heater replaced, and ME Flow was very responsive and professional in scheduling a visit for a quote. Another thing I personally liked was that ME Flow texted me a picture of the serviceman and let me know he was on the way. Raul Pinto was not a pushy salesman, and really listened when I explained the issues wed been having and attempting to diagnose our problems.We were easily able to schedule the replacement for the next day after receiving the quote. I was very happy to see Raul back for the installation, and they quickly and professionally were able to do everything we had asked for.     This was my second time using ME Flow after the company I supposedly have a relationship/contract with couldn’t get a technician to my residence earlier than 2.5 weeks after my A/C went out. They got me in two days after my call (my schedule not theirs) and even worked with me on the timing so I wouldn’t have to potentially have to miss a very important meeting. They identified and rectified the problem in less than 15 min, but still did a thorough check after to ensure there weren’t other problems. I am confident the appointment with the other company would have cost at least twice as much and resulted in additional appointments to “fix” things that didn’t require their “help.” I’ve learned my lesson.

    In December 2020, my heat pump was serviced by M.E. Flow under a service contract. The service I was given is best described as excellent. The technicians were knowledgeable, experienced, courteous, and professional.They addressed my concern about the service by a previous contractor on the heat pump and readily answered other questions. They checked the humidifier, suggesting that I get new pads if I intended to use it this winter. The technician noticed that other electronics that needed to be installed in the same utility room had been placed on the heat pump, which was the only location; he suggested that I build a small shelf on the wall for the equipment to avoid unexpected leaks from the humidifier above.When I moved into my apartment 18 years ago, I had the entire heat pump replaced because of its age and the previous owner replaced the compressor but not the air handler. M. E. Flow replaced the unit. Since then, I had M.E. Flow replace it again as it was reaching the end of its service life. M.E. Flow also does my plumbing work.All of this work is done with the same profession expertise.I highly recommend M.E. Flow.

    M.E. Flow’s plumber, Esteban Cueller, did a superb job yesterday of finding and replacing leaking pipes concealed in the walls. Response time after my initial call was under an hour. Esteban carefully explained every step of the process, and then skillfully completed the complicated repair. Like anyone seeing water seeping from the wrong spot, I was distraught and wish it had never happened. That said, I am very happy to have chosen M.E. Flow and consider them to be my go-to plumbing service from now on.

    Receptionist was excellent and scheduled me for a same day call back. I received the call back, but they weren’t able to see me that day. Not too big of a deal as I have been working from home. Was scheduled for a morning visit in two days. At 10:30 on appointment day, I called for status and was told my time window slid from morning to 10 - 2. Not too big of a deal, but cutting it close as a had another appointment during the afternoon. Technician arrived before noon and was excellent. He explained his game plan, executed, and recommended several options on how to proceed. I wound up accepting his offer for a service plan and thanking him for his effort.     My experience with ME Flow was excellent. Everyone showed up on time was respectful, especially during the pandemic and very knowledgable and helpful. the sales guy Pete was good and didnt try to oversell me something.     We’ve been using ME flow for 2 years now and are always impressed with the professionalism and quality of their employees. A few weeks ago we called around 5pm because our ac unit stopped cooling the house. The company had sent someone out the next day and three days after deciding we wanted to replace our unit, Pete came out to inspect the property, talk us through our options, and provide a quote. After we finally called to schedule, the company said they could come that week. The new ac unit was installed on our townhouse roof, which took a crew of 3-4 men a full day to remove the old unit and replace it with a new compressor and furnace. Everyone was polite and communicative throughout the whole process and left our house in better condition than when they started. Cannot emphasize enough about how respectful everyone was and never thought I would be so happy to spend a lot of money on a household appliance. Truly the best contractors we have ever worked with and highly recommend.

    Jorge and Kelvin installed our new American Standard AC and furnace on August 28, 2014. They arrived on time with an extra crew to deliver the necessary parts and help remove the old equipment. Everything was checked and rechecked to be sure it was running properly. The area was kept clean and there was virtually no interruption to my wife and my daily routines. Jorge carefully ran through instructions with me as to what they had done, how to operate the new systems and patiently answered all my questions to my full satisfaction before they left.     Updates as of 11/2.. I was very surprised to have received a call from ME Flow after my review. I thought for sure that writing an online review would just go out to cyber space to never been seen again. The manager was truly concerned with my issues. I got off the phone very impressed and satisfied that my concerned were heard. I would consider them again for future work.A pretty bad experience all around. First he came without the parts so he needed to go back and get them. For the $270 price quote the fix took all of 10 minutes with 8 of these minutes spent with him grunting and complaining about how hard it was. Once the line was fixed he turned the water back on and told me that the issue wasnt the thing he fixed but something else. I am convinced that if he had turned the water on first and diagnosed the leak himself it could have saved all that $27 per minute work. He was quick to pass the buck though saying that he was told to fix the line. In my work when a non professional tells me whats wrong I want to see it for myself.. I could have told him the wing was broken, what do I know Im not a professional plumbed. So after paying them he left and I had ZERO resolution to my problem.Some lessons just have to be learned the hard way I guess.

He arrived right on time and was so personable and professional the second he got out of the van. He looked at our issue, in which we believed to be a drain issue (water collecting under the tub liner), however it was not. The issue was something a bathtub resurfacing company would have to come fix. He gave me a lot of much needed advice in the process. Even though the issue was technically out of his hands, he took that extra step, his knowledge, and time to fix the issue the best way he knew how because he knew I was expecting a baby come October and wanted everything fixed for his arrival. Although no one is very thrilled with an expensive repair sometimes they are necessary and I felt the technician did a good job diagnosing the issue. He even spent a little extra time trying to figure out if an unrelated heat pump could get started up to give us some heat while we wait for a part. I would call MEFlow again and in fact signed up for a service contract having had three good experiences in the past year with repairs to our aging HVAC system.

    During the recent heat wave our A/C went out. My wife and I are in our upper 70s and both have heart problems so we really need our AC.     I am not usually one to post reviews but in this case it is entirely deserved. Raul Pinto was absolutely phenomenal. From the first visit where he has to tell me I had rather serious problems and took the time to talk me through all the options without trying to influence me. Today was an incredibly long day as they hit challenge after challenge with my existing plumbing fittings, and, having to cut holes behind my shower to get in (amazing neat easy to cover holes). I have just had my faith restored in the term service as this was the most courteous, professional, yet friendly (and enjoyable) experience in dealing with house issues. If you ever need a plumber, these are the people for you. Raul was an exemplar for his company.

    We recently added a Mitsubishi mini-split system with three air handlers to better cool the open spaces at one end of our Deck House. Pete with M.E. He went out of the way to make himself available to answer questions that came up before and during and even after the installation process. It sure looks like supply chain issue is alive and well.It has been two hours after technicians completed the work. They installed a hot water heater and a humidifier. All over sudden, the furnace fire is burning and fan was running. But the humidifier were not running even though humidity setting at the max. Humidifier is connected to the fan. It worked when the techs were here.The humidifier connection need to be corrected.

    When the home warranty company contractor failed to show for an appointment for an air conditioning repair on a 100 degree day. I called my neighbor Pete who works for M.E. Flow and who I have a service agreement with to provide maintenance. Although they couldn’t send a technician that day, they sent Troung the next day. We he arrived, my neighbor Pete also came over to assist with the call. They both took great care with COVID precautions and were friendly and professional. Troung quickly diagnosed the issue and ordered of course the hard to find part.The M.E. Flow team worked quickly to locate the part and had me up running the next day.     My AC was kaput on a high 90s week and ME Flow came through with a new installation within days. The entire HVAC has been hobbling along, so I called 3 companies for bids on a full new system. ME Flow had one of the top 3 home HVAC systems (rated #1 in several reviews); not necessarily the least expensive system but worth every extra penny. Why? No nonsense conversation and bid from Rodney (General Manager) was the deal maker. He didnt oversell a system larger than I needed and he was committed to a timeline for installation. The American Standard is also built in Tyler Texas so that was a factor for me too.My regular guys are terrific but they didnt have one of HVAC brands I wanted. A third company had a great bid on a well rated system but I was unhappy with the dance over you sign first and Ill give you an installation date. Ahhhh nope that doesnt work for me. And....there was some effort to sell up. Just remember more electronics gadgets and moving parts means more expensive maintenance down the line so be sure you want the extra features.Next, Mike followed up to keep my installation on schedule. My installers, Kevin and Brayan showed up on time, worked safely (yes they wore masks), were efficient, answered all my questions and cleaned up their work area! Im extremely happy with their installation. Oh and did I say how quiet the outside unit is? It has to be near my deck and it doesnt drown out conversations like the old one. Nice.Finally, Claudia followed up with me regarding warranty and Fairfax inspection scheduling details. She e:mailed and then called. Way to go Claudia.Ive been assured by a neighbor who discovered who I hired that Ill be VERY pleased with the service team as well.     We have a hot water Base Board heat system and it wasnt working. We called M.E. Flow and they were able to come out the very next next day. Aaron and Rojillo (sp?) were early (we got a heads-up they would be) and after I explained the situation and showed them around, they went straight to work. They assessed the situation and after a couple hours, got our base board heat flowing again. They took the time to explain the system to me and what they determined the problem to be (air in the pipes) and we now have heat from the base boards again. Less than $90 for the service call and they did the whole job for under $370. Great job by these two professionals. We were extremely pleased by the quick response and the quality work. Would definitely use M.E. Flow again.

    Alex and Truong were exceptional and very professional to work with. We had a complicated problem with our attic furnace that I wasn’t able to fix myself, but Alex and Truong did a fantastic job to diagnose and correct the issue.     After having significant issues with Comfort Solutions failing to clear my A/C drain with resulting property damage, I was cautiously hopeful that ME Flows nitrogen flush would do the trick. Dustin showed up during the scheduled time and performed their A/C tune up for the discount price available on their door hangers. Then when I talked to him about the drain, he immediately understood and suggested changes to the drain to make sure the nitrogen flush could be used to clear the drain with confidence. We agreed on a change and price and after an hours work and a walk thru with me, I am confident my drain issues are behind me. Because of Dustin, Ill be returning to ME Flow for my future AC and heating maintenance and installation needs. Low key, efficient, effective, well done.

    Fabian Gomez, our service technician, was experienced, and very professional while cleaning and repairing our gas heater after renovations were completed on our house, which we recently acquired. He took his time to explain everything to us when giving us a estimate, then followed up and did exactly what he proposed. Especially helpful, was his knowledge of our system going back to 2010, which was when ME Flow took over the maintenance of the heating and cooling systems for the previous owner. His knowledge of Heating/Cooling and the other trades that are associated with the field is outstanding and was a real plus when dealing with a few problems that occurred as a result of our house renovations. Gas systems can be very harmful, if not deadly, if not properly monitored. Mr. Gomez suggested that we put protections in place that the previous owner had installed, but were removed during renovations by contractor error. The peace of mind his suggestions gave far outweighed the cost of the products he installed. We are very happy that we called M. E. Flow to ask them to continue maintaining our HVAC systems and really happy that Mr. Gomez was the service technician assigned to our request.
