Eddie was one of a handful of plumbers who responded to my request for assistance and showed up promptly after finishing a previous job. He quickly identified the issue and managed to reduce the leak to a mere dribble, allowing us to keep our water running for the evening. The rest of the repair work will be handled by my landscaper who takes care of all my irrigation needs. Eddie was extremely amiable, professional, and appeared to have a solid grasp of his trade. Its a challenge to locate a reliable plumber, but I believe Ive discovered an excellent one.

Ive got to give Lucas Plumbing a full 5 stars just for their excellent customer service. I had an incredible experience with Jonathan on the phone when my toilet unexpectedly clogged. He was there for me even on a Sunday, answering all my inquiries and breaking down each individual cost. Despite the office being closed on Sundays, Jonathan needed approval to dispatch a technician. He didnt hesitate to inform me about this situation and took the initiative to find an emergency contact and even left a message for them. He didnt just stop there, he went the extra mile to submit a request through my apartments contact page. After some time, he rang me again to inform me that he had successfully contacted my buildings maintenance team and they would be arriving soon to assist me. I am so grateful for Jonathans help, especially on a Sunday. What could have been a real hassle was made simple and easy thanks to his efforts. I cant thank him enough!

Even though our call was after regular working hours, Jonathan arrived in less than 2 hours, surpassing our expectations. Hes excellent! He keeps us informed throughout the process, educating and answering all our queries about his work. Eddie, from the office, is fantastic and makes the first interaction enjoyable. He communicates honestly. We wouldnt think of using any other plumbing service in Longview! ***UPDATE*** Once again, Eddie was terrific! We had Chris and his assistant replace a water shut-off valve and fix the toilet flange. They were professional, friendly and punctual. They also maintained cleanliness and sanitation.

I contacted jonathan from Lucas Plumbing to mend a broken pipe near my basement floor which was patched up earlier. jonathan ended up swapping the entire galvanized pipe stack for PVC, right from the basement floor to the kitchen sink. he is a truthful plumber who delivered excellent service and the quote he gave me was exactly what he charged (though he made me aware of possible worst case scenarios ahead of time). He shared a lot of useful info, worked swiftly and tirelessly, and even made an effort to maintain cleanliness and order. Beyond his work, he was also a considerate and reliable guy.

He detailed every step he was undertaking: utilizing the video system, he highlighted the various sections of pipe as he meticulously removed the roots -- you could clearly see their entry points -- nestled between the joints of the aged clay pipe sections. We are now eagerly anticipating the installation of a liner to provide a permanent solution to the issue. While the emergency drain clean-out service wasnt inexpensive -- likely around the standard cost -- Eddie arrived swiftly, and I believe the service was worth every penny. His professionalism and courteous nature were commendable, highly suggested for anyone needing a plumber.

When the inspection report revealed a serious issue with our pipes, Eddie and his colleague Jonathan took their precious weekend morning to offer a competitive quote for the job. To our surprise, they were ready to start the work immediately, and by midday, our living area was fully protected from the leakage affecting our bathroom walls. Over the following week, they meticulously inspected every inch of the affected area, not just in the bathroom, but also in the attic space above that had previously been poorly maintained. By the fourth day, they had completely removed all of the old, damaged insulation in our attic, completely repaired and sealed the pipes, and continuously monitored our air quality to ensure our comfort while they worked. They were exceptionally considerate, leaving our stairway and entrance spotless at the end of each day and took great care to protect our hardwood floors from any potential damage. From our first conversation, Eddie assured us that he approaches every job as if he were working on his own home, and this was evident throughout the project! He even went the extra mile to recommend trusted contractors to complete the insulation and remodeling parts of the job, which were beyond what they could reasonably fit into their busy schedule for us. With Eddie and his team at Lucas Plumbing, we felt like we were part of the family in just a few days. A few years ago, they had replaced my entire pipe system from my house to the street at a cost that was significantly lower than the quotes I received from most companies. They were more professional and systematic. Jonathan arrived, inspected my leaky tap, whipped out a wrench and fixed the leak in mere seconds. When I inquired about the cost, he mentioned it would only be a service charge for the visit. I ended up saving hundreds of dollars thanks to their expertise! I appreciate their honesty and proficiency in their work!

Definitely using them again! Jonathan and his helper set up a brand new dishwasher. Quick, professional, efficient, and super friendly. Much appreciated! When I rang up to schedule a service, I was taken aback by how detailed they were in gathering the necessary details to carry out the task. I got a message outlining what they planned to do and when. Prior to arrival, I also got a message with a picture of the plumber, so I knew who was coming. When Master Plumber Axel arrived, he inspected my supplies to determine what was needed. Were currently renovating my kitchen. He set up a three-compartment sink, installed a garbage disposal, and set up the dishwasher. The wiring for the garbage disposal wasnt safe, so he recommended local, licensed and bonded, competent and timely electricians to handle the job. Being new to Longview, this was much appreciated. After finishing the job, he checked the appliances to ensure they were working, showed me how to use them, and I was all set. Axel was fast and professional, even though the work was time-consuming. I will definitely be using Lucas Plumbing again. It was my top choice for plumbing services.

I initially reached out for a descaling of my tankless heater and a flush of my tanked water heater. jonathan and his plumbing crew showed up and noticed several other necessary corrections to my pipes (which another firm had previously pointed out). axel then arrived, and when i saw the pipe wrench tattoo on his arm, i knew he was the guy for the job! he provided exceptional service and adjusted some of my pipes that my builder hadnt installed to code. everything has been fixed now, with no worries for the future. axel was professional, maintained a tidy workspace, and was highly efficient. while getting this work done, i also signed up for the membership which included an inspection and review of my furnace and my toilets, showers, and faucets. eddie came over to conduct the water inspection, and he addressed some pressure issues we were experiencing, and also fixed a flushing device on one of the toilets. he did a fantastic job. lastly, jonathan inspected the furnace and walked me through each step of what he was doing and checking, so that i understood everything. i was very satisfied with jonathans service. overall, i strongly recommend their professional and punctual service and would particularly highlight axel, eddie, and jonathan for their excellent work.

He initially attempted to resolve the issue with a new valve he had on hand, but found out that the specific valve was no longer available in the market. After getting my approval, Chris went ahead and procured a brand-new faucet kit. Upon his return, he efficiently handled everything and had the job wrapped up by lunchtime. Eddie checked in on me post-service to ensure everything was up to my expectations. I cant recommend them enough for any plumbing-related needs.

Chris suggested a simple yet effective tip to pour boiling hot water down the drain. Eddie, understanding my concern about the cost of drain snaking due to my fixed income, helped me find an affordable Milwaukee Gun Auger. I bought the snake this morning and meticulously used it at least four times in the entire drain. We repeatedly flushed the drain with more boiling water. After several flushes, we started to see improvement as the water began to drain. We didnt stop there, we kept flushing hot water down the drain, and added Dawn degreaser for an extra clean. The drain is now operating smoothly. Their tips were extremely helpful and we have our kitchen back to normal. Lucas Plumbing will be our go-to company for all our future plumbing needs. We are even planning to have our gas logs replaced by them this coming fall. We appreciate all the help!

Their suggested repair would involve either breaking the flooring or simply rerouting the problematic line, with no variation in cost regardless of the method chosen. Not entirely convinced by the warranty companys word, we decided to contact the plumbing service with whom weve had previous dealings. jonathan was dispatched to our location the very next day. Soon after, we received a call from him with some encouraging news. He suspected that a faulty exterior tap was causing the hammering noise within the wall. Once their work was complete, they pressurized the plumbing system to make sure the issue was fully resolved and no other leaks were present. This team could have easily claimed it was a slab leak and undercut the warranty companys plumber, but they chose honesty. Their approach was fair, straightforward, and commendable.

Review update* just used the plumbing service today! its been about 5 years since i last used them, and im delighted they still maintain their high standard of service and affordable prices. i called them at 9 am, and they promised to arrive before noon. true to their word, they gave me a ring at 10:30, telling me that they would be at my place in 20 minutes. i always suggest their services to my family and friends.* i am extremely pleased with Axels work on our water heater. we were afraid we would need to purchase a new one, but Axel was able to repair it. i called him at 10:30am and by noon, he was on his way. We were really pleased with the work done by these two plumbers. They were punctual, friendly, and easy to chat with. In terms of the work that jonathan carried out, i felt quite content. Ive resided in this home for numerous years. I installed a pump due to the fact that my waste lines were positioned lower than the sewer lines. The original pump lasted for over two decades. It was replaced by you when it stopped working a couple of years ago. Then, another replacement was needed after the warranty period had expired, which i had to cover the cost for. During this period, you also conducted a thorough cleaning of my pipes, which was an additional expense. Just a short time later, you were back to fix the same issue and informed me that warranties dont cover weekend problems. This resulted in another hefty bill of nearly $900. So, if this occurs again, i need to ensure its not during the weekend or ill be faced with yet another charge. Despite this, Im confident that chris and Eddie can improve their services to better satisfy my needs.

Their services dont come cheap, but they do have a team of professional, experienced, and polite individuals. Eddie did a remarkable job, keeping everything neat and tidy, even as he had to snake from the toilet opening in my main bathroom, which I had previously removed for easier access. He skillfully managed not to create any mess while clearing the blockage that caused water to seep from under my toilet whenever we took a shower. Once the task was completed, Eddie showed me the state of my pipes using a camera snake. This was necessary for me to verify if there was an issue with the pipes since this situation has occurred before. Now, I am at peace knowing everything is in order. The extra cost was well worth it. My suggestion would be not to choose a different service simply because its less expensive. Save yourself the trouble and opt for these professionals. Trust me, Ive been down the cheaper route before.
