We had plumbing issues that required a large amount of rebuild. I am disabled and my mother is over 80, it was overwhelming and frightening. But from the first day we spoke with Rodney, we felt our needs were a top priority and then Carlos and his team came in and reconstructed the damage and left us with a clean and safe home. They even finished early and due to my ADA needs, this was not easy. We had another local contractor rebuild our master bathroom and the unprofessional work they left was corrected by J and J. If you want a professionally done job and people who really care, try J and J. We wont ever use anybody else now.

My mother’s house was in dire need of assistance. Due to the fact that it was an insurance claim I had my reservations as to the quality and overall experience was expecting to receive. When the project started I was contacted by the project manager, Hector, and immediately was presented with reassurance that we were going to be happy with the work. Given the fact that I live in California and the house is in Nevada, communication was key. Hector hit every milestone ahead of schedule and above my expectations. He never made me feel like he was selling me on the cheapest option with the highest margins, and instead spent time with me on FaceTime looking at counter top samples while I was back in LA. After completion of the project I went down for inspection and it exceeded my expectations. J&J were incredibly professional and incredibly forthcoming with where we were at and what to expect. As I told Hector when we met, a great contractor is one of the hardest resources to come by. I’ve had my fair share of horrible experiences and Insurance claim or a personal remodel, I’d rely on them each time.

J&J Contracting provided outstanding service from beginning to end. The office staff--Barbara and Alejandra--were always available to answer questions. Jason, the Estimator, arrived promptly and did an excellent job as he assessed the project outline, dimensions and costs. Hector, the project coordinator, really did pull things together, showing us our options in a friendly and professional manner as it now became real. Marabella helped with choosing our carpet, which was very important, because it has to be durable, comfy and last a good long while--and we couldnt be more pleased! And finally, the installers were AMAZING--they did a fantastic job!! The carpet is tight, flat, and every edge, corner and wall is perfectly laid!! Excellent workmanship!! We were referred to J & J Contracting by Quick Dry Restoration after our dishwasher flooded our kitchen. Juan came out to meet us and assess the damage right away. He was professional and informative during our initial meeting and helped us feel at ease. We were intimidated by the insurance claim process, but Juan guided us through the steps to initiate a claim.After we decided to go with J & J, Juan took over the correspondence with USAA and we didnt have to do a thing! He literally handled everything between our insurance and his company. Our old sink had to be taken out due to the risk of mold, and when he noticed that we were rinsing dishes in a baby pool in our backyard, he brought us a temporary sink to use during the entire project! We were so grateful. Juan would call us, even when he didnt really have any news- just to tell us that he wanted to check-in on us and reach out to answer any questions we might have.Our project manager Ramone sat down with us to go line-by-line over every single detail in regards to the work. He took his time explaining everything to us and answered any and all of our questions. He was so patient and kind as I showed him a hundred photos of what my dream kitchen would look like; and he was honest about what we could accomplish together. He was responsive to my texts and calls and often met his crew at our house just to provide an introduction (which we thought was a nice touch) and explain the work that was to be done that day so that everyone was hearing the same thing at the same time. Hes wonderful with kids and understood this process was painful at times because our kids were contained to one part of the house.The crew was incredible! They were always so professional and respectful of our home. We have three kids all under 5 years old, and the crew started noticing what times my children would nap or wake up in the mornings. They would text me and ask if it was ok to come over or rearrange their schedules to avoid nap time. It made us chuckle at first, but it was so considerate and above and beyond- we were so appreciative of their thoughtfulness. The crew offered to wear shoe coverings any time they needed to come into our home, as they said they noticed our youngest was crawling and our kids are always playing on the floors. Again, we just thought that was so kind of them to offer.Mike (co-owner) and Juan came back out right before our project was wrapped up to do a final walk-through. They looked over EVERYTHING. They called a couple of guys right then and there to provide touch-up support just so get things were at 100% before they closed the project. I thought I had OCD, but Mike is so detail-oriented! Juan reassured me to reach out any time if we happen to notice anything that they may have missed during the final walk-through.One special thing I wanted to share: We ordered white floating shelves- which we decided we didnt really like the color. Completely our fault. But we were willing to pay out of pocket for new floating shelves that were a natural wood color. We asked Juan to quote us a price so that we could save our pennies to have them made- but he told us we were not going to pay for them. He surprised us the next day by coming back with 4 natural floating shelves! He said it was the least he could do for always being so pleasant and kind to his crew. We were humbled with such a generous gesture.I want to take the time to thank Ramone, Rafa, the crew, Juan, and Mike for everything you did for us during such a stressful time. We will miss seeing you guys! We appreciate all of the hard work that was put into our project and the extra steps that were taken to ensure a smooth process for us.

I cannot recommend this company enough. From start to finish they were professional, communicative, and respectful of property. They answered all my questions and did a fabulous job a little background. I had some water damage to my garage, laundry room and spare bedroom and J&J Contracting was who my insurance sent I couldn’t have been more pleased. Special shout out to Hector who is just amazing.

I rent townhomes in Henderson and we had water damage from the second floor into the bottom floor. I contacted J&J and they were there early the next morning with estimates after reviewing the situation. I signed the contract and they quickly started working. I was very impressed how the Project Manager, Josue handled the project. He was very knowledgeable about the process and the worker’s he brought over were experienced. The PM sent me daily updates and pictures to keep me informed. I was impressed with the results because the tenants were impressed because that’s my main concern. As a landlord I would certainly give any future business to J&J Contracting because they know their business!

I had a water leak in the garage that required part of the ceiling to be removed. Rodney came over to view the damages and prepare an estimate. He was very helpful in explaining the process thru the insurance. The crew arrived on time. They worked very efficiently and i was impressed by their attention to details. The repair is flawless and you cannot see where the sheetrock was replaced. They left the garage immaculate. I could not be more pleased with J&J and their crew.

The Supv. of the specialised work crews always kept me informed as to what was going to be done next, called me ahead of time to confirm the arrival time, came to my home each day of work to inspect what was done. The workers were very punctual and never cancelled or were no shows..l found it to be very easy to discuss my repairs being done and they accommodated my concerns with no hesitation. This company is very organized and they helped me out as fast as they could and I think everything turned out great. Liz was very helpful and responded fast through emails and phone calls. J & J Contracting took care of my homeowner claim where I had water damage from our hot water heater. They repaired the drywall in the garage and in the bedroom closet, along with the hot water heater stand and painted and replaced baseboards. They also pulled out the carpet in the majority of the house and replaced the flooring with vinyl planks and did an amazing job! My house looks so pretty with the new flooring! All the different crews that came to the house to work were so pleasant and polite. I will definitely use J & J for any future renovations! Thank you Jason, Carlos & Brandon.

We had a leak from our master bath down through to our living room ceiling. Unfortunately we had to have the downstairs ceiling re-drywalled and painted along with our master bath completely demo’d and redone. Luckily, everyone we dealt with at J and J was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. Our project manager was Hector and he was always just a phone call away if needed and very responsive. He explained the timeline and was always very upfront about that timeline, the costs, etc. Our demo/drywall guys were a father and son team (Juan Carlo I think was the sons name) and were extremely fast and did an amazing job. They had to completely gut the master bath and really kept the area as clean as possible during that phase (which I was concerned about). Plastic barriers were put up to really keep the dust contained and not disrupt our bedroom or closet. Contractor paper was used throughout the house which I really appreciated. Once that phase was over, our contractor was Mario who had the unfortunate task of rebuilding the entire bathroom (floors, shower, baseboards, walls, etc). He was here everyday on time and worked tirelessly to complete the job. Everything looks fantastic and the attention to detail he put in was impressive. He never took a lunch. He just worked ALL day…everyday. The job took awhile so you just have to come to terms with that and appreciate how how hard the job is if you want it done right. Overall, we are very happy with the final result and would definitely call J and J if we find ourselves in this type of situation again (hopefully not anytime soon). My dog sure misses seeing her best buddy Mario everyday.

Professional and friendly from start to finish. Hector, the project manager, communicated each step of the way. All of the trades did a great job on the repairs (tear out, drywall, painting, plumbing, cabinets, counters, and appliance install) and kept the areas very clean. I had another company come out for a quote before J&J that I just wasn’t comfortable with and I am so glad I went with J&J. From the first call, to coming out within the hour to assess the leak and work up a quote, to dealing with insurance - J&J handled the everything. I would highly recommend them.

I just used J & J to help bring my home back up to par after a water leak. They were a referral from a mitigation company that we used. I didnt know any contractors personally so we just went with them not knowing anything about it. I can say that I am so glad we decided to go with them! They worked directly with the insurance to get us a check as soon as possible. Once it came time for the work to get started a project manager named Bobby came to assess everything and ask us some questions. If you are interested in getting some work done to your home ASK FOR BOBBY. He was amazing! He was honest with us that our home needed a lot done to it so he estimated about 2 weeks worth of work would need to be done. A week later we were in our pretty much BRAND NEW home. Everything looked absolutely amazing. All of the workers were very nice and worked extremely hard all day. I was also onsite doing some minor repairs in other parts of my house and one of the workers even stopped what he was doing and offered to help me out with what I was doing. It saved me a lot of time since I didnt have all of the necessary tools on hand!All in all this was the best experience I have had with a contractor. Consider me a lifetime customer!

I am so happy that I went with the company for my home repairs. My home flooded and major repairs were needed and my insurance company provided me the choice of using J and J and I did. Larry was very helpful and put me at ease when I was freakinOut. He did a great job of explaining the process and that really helped me calm my nerves. Mike was my project manager and he made sure that I was satisfied throughout the process and if I wasn’t he made sure to make it right!!! The pack out/ in crew were very nice and organized and treated my home items with care. Through the process I went by my house several times and encountered the repair crew and they were nice people. The guys that installed the baseboards did a great job and paid attention to every detail. My floor is awesome!!! Bottom line, if you want your home repaired the right way hire J an J contracting!!!!

After experiencing an extensive flood in my home in July my insurance recommended j and j contracting for the home repair. The adjustor was amazing offering explanations for each area of repair and what to expect. My new wood floors look amazing! It was a long process due to some special trim parts that had to be custom made to match the rest of my trims but that did not stop them from getting the job done, I am so happy with the results.

J&J did a great job from start to finish! The work that was done on our home after a pipe burst in the kitchen. Starting with George Parks coming to assess the initial damage and getting a crew out to start drying/tearing out all the baseboards, drywall and cabinets to prevent further damage and mold. The second team to arrive was the packers/moving team that removed and boxed up all our personal belonging into a pod while repairs we being done. Kudos to Luis Aceves and his team for the quick turn around once insurance approved the repairs. We had been out of our home for approximately 3 weeks living in a hotel when I told Luis I would like to be back in the house before the Christmas he was quick to make sure that happened! He also made sure to get a cleaning team out before we moved back in. They did an amazing job to include bathrooms, kitchen, pictures, ceiling fans and much more! They did an amazing job and in the end you would never have known there was a problem.I would highly recommend the entire team at J&J Contracting if you are looking for things to be done right and in a timely manner! I felt like my flooded, disaster of a house was finally under capable hands when they started their work. You can’t even tell where the damage was now. On top of all his amazing-ness, when they couldn’t provide the exact cabinets I wanted, they actually told me they wouldn’t sell to me because it wasn’t exactly what I wanted and they believed I should get what I want. They truly care about giving you quality work through professionalism and kindness. My project manager, Bobby, was a joy to work with. Brandon and his crew of packers carefully packed all our stuff quickly so we could get the walls cut and dried out. The drywall repair crew and flooring crew were also great. Brandon and his crew then came back and placed all my furniture exactly where I wanted it including a heavy piano. This whole thing was traumatizing but people at JAndJ know how to get the job done.

In November 2019 my 25 year old home my 25 year old home experienced significant roof leak in two places. in two places. Emergency work to dry out the house was performed by another company who proved to be unreliable and uncooperative with respect to making the internal and external repairs. After obtaining three assessment and bids from different construction companies I chose J&J Contracting, a preferred contracting company from my insurance.To begin with, my insurance company (Allstate) farmed the estimate out to a Texas adjuster who woefully underestimated the extent of the repairs. Fortunately, J&J, as they promised, worked diligently with the newly assigned adjuster and worked out a reasonable settlement.The first repair involved the roof and Zack Franklin was given the responsibility as project manager. Although there were some early miscommunications internally with their roofing arm, Zack always returned my calls within minutes, listened to my concerns and immediately effected any needed corrections. He is extremely personable, customer oriented and makes no excuses for less-than-perfect results.The internal water-damaged repairs were assigned to Carlos Franco (with Zack as my backup in case Carlos dropped the ball). Carlos and his crew exceeded expectations. After he assessed the damages, Carlos estimated a 4 day job which was completed in 4 days. Carlos followed up 3 days after the job completion to make sure we were satisfied indicating anything amiss he would rectify. However, the job was perfect.Also shout out to George Parks, a senior member of the J&J team who worked behind the scenes to make sure my wife and I were happy with the work.I can recommend without J&J Contracting without reservation and we will use them again for repairs and remodel in the future.

Our reverse osmosis system sprung a tiny pinhole leak that caused damage to our hardwood floor, 2 interior kitchen cabinets, drywall and baseboards. J&J contracting were here the day after our water damage with a water saturation detection device which determined what had to be removed and reconstructed. A crew of demolition guys did the rough removal. Then as our project manager described the surgeons came in trade by trade. Hardwood floor surgeons, drywall surgeons, cabinet surgeons and granite surgeons appeared in a sequence to complete the renovations necessary. The crews were all very polite and respectful and yes, they were all surgeons! They did an excellent job in putting the pieces back together again! Im happy to have my kitchen back and we have kicked the RO system to the curb! I would highly recommend J&J for any renovations you may need!

Having a flood in your home due to no fault of your own-- not fun. Dealing with multiple insurances-- not fun. Having to live through months of upheaval, really loud fans, demolition, re-construction, you name it-- not fun. But what could have been a complete and utter nightmare was actually substantially mitigated once we were introduced to our project manager Cesar Romero at J&J. He couldnt have been nicer, truly. He is a consummate professional, always there to answer questions, offer an opinion (after the 59th question: do you want this or that? youre basically like, I have no idea, what do YOU think I should do? and his response was always, well, if this were my place, Id do X, which I very much appreciated. And btw he has great taste). He couldnt have been more patient, kind and wonderful. Honesty is something you find more rare these days sadly-- but he gave us a quote and that was the price. He said hed show up, he did. He called when he said he would. He said his crew would be there, they were. At the time he said. He told us upfront exactly what to expect, and thats how it went. He ran point between me and the crew saying he didnt want them to have my direct phone number-- a level of professionalism that I very much noted and appreciated. Having some level of certainty and trust in a process filled with unknowns was unbelievably reassuring. I couldnt recommend him and the team at J&J more highly -- hopefully you dont need them because if you do, you just experienced some trauma, but if you do, it makes you feel better to know there are definitely some good, honest, decent companies-- and people-- out there.

Its rather interesting that all the reviews are either one star or 5...... My experience is a 5 all the way: J&J just left after doing new drywall install after a hot water heater rupture. I can say without a doubt I would hire these guys again in a heartbeat. They removed my hot water heater, installed new drywall, painted, and re-installed the water heater in under 5 hours. They even scrubbed my garage floor to clean up and bought a new pan for the water heater and re-strapped the water heater to the wall anchored to a stud (which it previously was not.) They even left me a can of paint and came in on a Saturday to do the work when they technically are closed! Totally worked around my schedule which is awesome. Everyone I dealt with was super friendly, nice and overall very pleasant. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. The one stars I suspect are isolated instances and not a true representation of the company. They certainly dont reflect my experience.

Work included drywall, paint, plumbing, and flooring. Everyone did a great job but I want to thank Daniel and Freddy who were very professional and kind and went out of their way to accommodate me. And I especially appreciated Alex who worked tirelessly, did the best job no matter what it was, and kept me informed of his comings and goings - I just cant say enough about the quality of his work - he is an asset to J&J.

They fixed our garage when our water heater burst a few years back and they did a good job. So when our upstairs laundry room flooded & water leaked through the ceiling downstairs we knew who to go to. Bobby was the project manager assigned to us and we were glad we got him. He is awesome and visited frequently while work was being done. On few occasions, I would call him after hours and he would pick up every time. With the stress of having to deal with the house Bobby was a delight to work with. Everyone that came to the house ( from cabinets, flooring, plumbing, baseboards, painters, etc ) were so professional and did an awesome job and if there was something that needed redoing, Bobby would immediately send his crew to fix it.
