I own a small old home in downtown Lancaster, and the owners before me had redone the HVAC in a way that left zero headroom in the basement due to the ducting configuration. As I also had plans to renovate the basement to make a slightly more usable space, I had J&J come redo the whole configuration. They did a fantastic job, even coming back out to correct some issues that were caused by a miscommunication (I used incorrect terminology when specifying my needs, J&J did what they were told to!).Overall they did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend them for your HVAC needs. I will absolutely be using them again in the future if I have any other projects.

To say we have had the best experience with Less from J and J wouldn’t even begin to describe how we really feel. From day one he gave me his number to call or text which has been so convenient!Any problems that arose, he sent someone out immediately! I always felt cared for and valued as a customer. Not only did they put central air and heat in our home upstairs but they added a humidifier system and we had two mini splits installed downstairs. So we have the works. It was always affordable as well. They had such kind, clean workers come to our house during the install. I ran into some plumbing issues of my own and they went the extra mile and fixed that for me while they were there also.If you are on the fence about which company to choose, I guarantee if you speak to Less and have him look at your space you will instantly feel better about your decision. He puts zero pressure on you and gives you all the information you need. He’s a down to earth, great guy who treats you like family! I hope J and J know his value and keep him around forever!

I was able to get an estimate the day I called. Service was schedule led quickly. The two guys who worked on the issue were polite & wonderful. They cleaned up and everything. Out of three estimates, these guys were the most competitive. They will be my go to from this point forward.

My husband and I got 4 estimates to replace our HVAC heat pump system and J & Js was definitely the best price for a better SEER system. Everyone we dealt with was very knowledgable and pleasant to work with. Anytime we had questions along the way, they were there to answer them for us in a timely manner. They obviously aim to please their customers without charging them outrageous prices. We would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

We have used J and J twice now. The first time was October 2023 to repair our water main pipe inside the house. They did a great job making sure the work was correct and stayed while the water company turned the water back on to ensure the drip was properly sealed and the issue was fully resolved.The second time was today to replace our hot water heater and look at our sewage line. We wanted to be proactive and replace our 17+ year old water tank before it became an emergent situation. J and J was able to get us the exact one ( which is what we wanted).They were able to ensure us our sewage line that had been leaking clean water ( thank God!) had no evidence of cracks and was just some ground water. They replaced all the cheap expanding foam (that the original contractor used when the house was built) and replace it with hydraulic cement. Not only does it look more appealing, but now it will actually have a water tight seal.I cant say enough good things about the gentleman who did the work. The one did the job in October and todays work. They were both very polite, efficient, and cleaned up so well it was like they were never here.If you need any plumbing work, dont hesitate to call these guys!

Our A/C went out on an extremely hot day and we called J&J, hoping that they could fit us in. In less than a day they arrived and fixed the problem in 30 minutes. The service tech was prompt, professional and friendly. I was amazed how quickly it was fixed. We highly recommend J&J.

My husband and I were interviewing several businesses to get estimates for replacing our heating and a/c system. Steven came to our home, explained our options and then showed us the costs involved. We were pleasantly surprised with his estimate and decided to take his offer. The work was performed quickly and professionally and were are very pleased. This business is very professional and delightful to work with. We highly recommend them .

I called this morning to request service, and shortly thereafter, Ben returned my call and informed me that he was able to address my problem today. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Because the water throughout the house had to be turned off and drained, when Ben was finished with the installation of the new faucets, he double-checked to confirm that everything was in working order. We have been customers of J&J for 30+ years. Ben is a perfect example as to why! Thank you, Ben, and thank you J&J!

I trust J & J implicitly with all my HVAC needs. They are true professionals. They are happy to explain the situation they find, make appropriate repairs and follow up as needed. J & J has always been fair on pricing. The work completed always justifies the cost with these guys. Do yourself a favor and give J & Ja call. Called J&J today 1-15-2020 . The technician was here today within a few hours. I had No Heat when he arrived. He checked the system. Cleaned a few boards that were corroded. Change the capacitor on the fan explained my options for service moving forward. Charged for his time which was reasonable. I would recommend them to a friend and will use them for service in the future. Customer service is hard to find these days. Thanks for the good experience. The Heat is ON!

Water heater was leaking. Called Rob Leed, he was great coordinating with service manager and explaining our options. Greg came to install Water heater, he did an excellent job. Greg also explained the need for a thermal expansion tank, which I appreciated. Very happy how quick the Water heater was installed. Overall great experience!

My HVAC was out for approximately 3 months. My husband had a friend who apparently knew how to repair it. He changed the filter and added freeon. That did not work. We had someone else that was recommended to us that fixes and installs HVACs. He told us the compressor was bad and was trying to find the part to change it but couldnt get it. I called J and J Heating and Air Conditioning. The technicians name was John (I believe). He checked the HVAC and told me he couldnt find anything wrong with the compressor. Long story short, my HVAC had too much freeon and John figured it out and fixed it for a very good price. I was worried because I just bought a whole new HVAC for a home I own down south. John was very nice and explained everything step by step. I will definitely use this company if I need any ac or plumbing serviced again.

I was looking for a company to replace my oil boiler with a gas combi-boiler system and got 3 estimates and j&j heating was the best value and was the only one to follow up with me on the job, Les was very courteous and explained the entire process with me great person and doesn’t pressure you into choosing his company just makes you feel comfortable doing so, there was a small issue in the installation and the installer Dave stayed into the night making sure we had hot water before he left, great company with great employees wish i could give them a 10 would definitely recommend.

We needed a replacement water heater. Service was exceptional and technician, Derrick, was terrific. We have been using J and J for many years.
