Another family-owned plumber that had previously done some work for me was unable to get us on the immediate calendar when my nearly thirty year-old water heater finally started leaking from the bottom. They recommended Weilhammer, which carried weight with me. After two weeks, all is still looking good!Weilhammer was quick to return my initial call, and were out the next day, on the agreed-to schedule, to replace that legacy gas water heater with a brand new one.We probably all see and hear commercials for large outfits with big marketing budgets, but nimble skilled plumbers like Weilhammer are the best bang-for-your-buck.

Mark from Weilhammer installed a new Water Heater for me a couple years ago and he was honest, professional, reasonably priced, and cant be more pleased with the end result. Recently I called him for assistance with another issue, and, while his company didnt provide those services, he still took his time to give me recommendations which turned out to be fantastic. While all companies want to get paid (as they should), you really want to do business with companies that actually seem to care about solving your problems, or helping you solve your problems.

Six moths ago Weilhammer replaced an ejector pump in my basement sewage pit; this morning it failed so of course I called Mark and he was out promptly to diagnose the problem. I feared that the pump was clogged up by something thrown into the toilet that should not have been. As it turned out the pump was not clogged it simply failed and it was replace under warranty including the labor. Kudos to Weilhammer for doing the honest thing, taking the high road and replacing the failed pump under the warranty. Not sure any of the larger plumbers would have seen fit to do the right thing. HIGHLY RECCOMENED!

I was installing my shower unit in the basement of my home and ran into an issue with the drain, which was the non-glue type. I followed the instructions for the 2 drain pipe length exactly. After installing the pan with the walls already attached, I noticed the drain line only protruded into the rubber compression ring about 1/4 - not enough length. I couldnt easily uninstall the shower. I feared the drain would leak! Mark was kind enough to offer up an excellent solution (no charge!!), based on his years of experience facing the same issue. When our 18 year old gas water heater quit working, I called Mr Weilhammer. He responded quickly with an estimate, that was half the cost of a well known competitor, to replace the failed unit.He arrived at the agreed time and replaced the water heater quickly. He cleaned up the area where the water heater was installed and hauled away the old unit.Couldnt have asked for a better experience. Weilhammer Plumbing is professional, responds quickly, and does excellent quality work. Mark went above and beyond fixing everything he found, not just the original contracted work, and at the end, he did not renegotiate a new price, but stuck to the original quote and simply said if I wanted to pay him a little bit more for the extra effort he put in that it would be appreciated. But he left it up to me to make that decision without being pressured to do so. To summarize, Mark does quality work, communicates promptly, sticks to his word, and he clearly takes pride in his work and doesnt appear to take shortcuts or do the bare minimum like a lot of contractors do. Would recommend him to anybody that needs plumbing or water heater work done.

Excellent and on time! Same day delivery and Mark himself came out to remove our old water heater and replaced it with a new one. I called in the morning and he was there that afternoon. He didn’t charge us to come out and see what the issue was. He brought everything with him and didn’t overcharge me for the heater. Other companies I called wanted twice over what we paid for. I had a problem with the water pressure in my house as well as an issue with my kitchen faucet. I contacted Weilhammer Plumbing after reading the good reviews they received in different websites. I called and spoke with Mark. He diagnosed over the phone that I needed a new water softener. They came to my house, and replaced my water softener at the price I was quoted. Mark and his brother in-law were extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions and did a great and professional job. They even fixed the issue I had with my kitchen faucet at no charge. I will definitely recommend Weilhammer Plumbing Co. to anyone needing plumbing work.

Most kind hearted and professional plumber I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. He is not going to charge you unnecessarily for any repairs that are not needed. Experienced. Installed my water softener within 48 hours of calling him and gave me excellent advice on my home. The following week I needed him to help with a shower leak and he came by within 24 hours to assess and repair the leak for me. All while the builder of my new home was unresponsive to my needs. He’s absolutely amazing and would recommend him wholeheartedly to anyone who asks.

I called Weilhammer Plumbing at 10:30 PM about a 50 gal electric water heater that was slowly leaking in our laundry room (bottom had rusted out). Mark returned my call before 9 AM the next day, and was at our house by 12 noon to replace the water heater. Mark provides a very fair price and friendly, honest service. Very knowledgeable and obviously has years of experience. Mark even went out of his way to add a drip pan and drain that was not previously installed with the old water heater. Our water heater broke so we called Weilhammer. They first tried to help up figure out if it was a simple fix by relighting the pilot light, but when that didnt work, they knew we needed a replacement part. Not only did they first try to help us for free over the phone, they gave us an accurate estimate of how much the repair would be, and then came out the very next day and fixed it! The price stayed the same, the technician showed up on time, he had all the parts needed for the job, and he fixed our water heater within an hour! It was like he wasnt even there. Great service, very professional, and very knowledgeable. We definitely recommend using Weilhammer Plumbing Co for water heater repair. They are the real deal.

Great experience with these guys. I had two toilets that kept running and called another supposedly reputable company first. They quoted me $1000 to replaced the units in the two tanks. This seemed pretty crazy, so I had them leave. Weilhammer was great to deal with from the start. They showed up on time, were quick, and replaced everything for $200. Its nice that we have some honest people in the area.

I called to schedule a service call. The lady was nice and very professional, and within a few minutes I received a call-back from the plumber/owner. I told him my issue, and he said hed be happy to come take a look for $100, but he went on to offer me free advice as to how to troubleshoot the issue myself. I asked several questions, and he took the time to explain exactly what I should do and what I should look for. He was very patient. Lastly, he said to call back if I had any more questions, had any trouble, or wanted him to come over and fix the problem. Ill definitely use Weilhammer again!

Mark is not only outstanding on the initial installation but stands behind his work and product. I called Mark a year and a half after an installation when an issue was discovered with a water softener (the property was tenant occupied and the tenant had not reported the problem). Without issue or charge Mark corrected the problem right away. Two years after an installation I asked Mark to check that a system was functioning properly, he did so quickly and again at no cost for the service call, even though there was no problem with the unit. Finding quality, reliable contractors is not easy. I am very happy to have found Mark.

I recently had two toilets replaced and always appreciate their attention to detail. This is a smaller company that spans at least two generations. You call the main number and they answering service will send them your message, and they will respond quite promptly. It took me a little while to get used to this, however their prices mandate keeping costs down, and this is fine with me.

Just had a service call from Weilhammer Plumbing. These gentlemen are the real deal! They came out and fixed, for free, a piece of water-heater work that was (mis)handled by a different plumbing company. They also provided some very helpful advice about some other minor issues around the house and were extremely pleasant and down-to-earth folks to speak with. They saved me a ton of worry because they revealed an untruthful statement about my water pressure that was made by a competitor, to be false. They were too much gentlemen to say the competitor was untruthful, but it was quite obvious that it was the case. Instead of the high-cost, high-pressure tactics I got from from their competitor, Weilhammer gave me a very reasonable estimate of work that needed to be done, but did not try to convince me that the world would end if I didnt sign up to have it done today.If they chose to, they probably could have easily taken advantage of me -- I am not wise in the ways of plumbing and was pretty upset about what I was (falsely) told about my water pressure from the other company. But instead they were honest with me and helped, for free, to undo someone elses mistake! Their estimate was very reasonable, and overall I could not be more impressed, and I will be looking to them for all my future plumbing needs. I would encourage anyone and everyone to do the same.Edit: I just called Weilhammer again today for an in-wall leak -- it was a nasty one but they jumped right in, on a weekend, and got it fixed! They gave lots of good advice about how to deal with the drywall, avoid mold, etc. The cost was very reasonable, especially for coming out on a Sunday with the Colts about to play! :) Bottom line, everything I said above still stands -- they are awesome and theyll treat you right.

I spoke to a gentlemen on the phone and explained the problem I was having. He gave me a couple things to try in lieu of a service call. He said he would be happy to come out but had possibly an easy fix based on what I explained. I did what he said, and my problem was no more! He had also told me if that worked what the permanent solution was. I really appreciated him giving me the advise and saving me the money of a service call. I have a unique experience to share. I found Marks name in a blog that was 5 years old. I was trying to find new trim for a shower handle that was 23 years old. Our water heater went out late Saturday afternoon before Christmas (holiday weekend). He said he would try to come by and fix it but couldnt make any promises. He did end up coming, but was unable to repair and the whole unit would have to be replaced. He wasnt going to come back until sometime during the week. We told him we needed our hot water asap as we were having a Christmas party at 3 on Sunday. He came Sunday morning, on his day off, with the unit and installed in less than 2 hours. Weilhammer plumbing has fantastic service. I called to get a consultative visit about a a sewer gas smell in one of our bathrooms. We had had 2 other plumbers out over the last year to Attempt to diagnose the problem and both suggested expensive and invasive ideas to try and see if there was a leaky pipe somewhere in our walls.Weilhammer was able to immediately realize what was going on and how it could be fixed.
