Toby was excellent, very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Took time and several attempts to make sure that I really needed a new garbage disposal. After determining that I really did need one, Toby installed in about 15-20 minutes. Everything was clean after completing. Would highly recommend Toby. The only thing that I did not like was the price difference from us having a new garbage disposal and them coming back another day to install or using one of theirs. The difference was over $300. We did not have time during the week except after 6 pm or the weekend. Could not wait another few days without it working and smelling up the house. Had to go ahead and have one installed.

Wes and his crew were fantastic! After experiencing a major gas leak at our home they came in did what was required to run all new gas lines and make us safe and warm again! It was an all day job with a large crew and lots of heavy equipment. They obviously knew what they were doing and kept us informed with every step. Juan V. was very professional, knowledgeable, and polite.We showed him the ceiling area, and he diagnosed the problem with the upstairs toilet. And he was correct, a slight leak from the seal. He replaced the bolts and installed a new seal.Best of all, he did NOT suggest to start tearing out the downstairs ceiling to see what was going on. He measured where the bad spot in the ceiling was, and then went upstairs to measure what plumbing fixture was there. He determined it was the toilet, not the shower, or sink.He explained the cost before removing the toilet, and when he was done, he explained the monthly service agreement we could enter into, which we declined.No pressure to sign up, just letting us know about their service.

Donny T was our line guy.The issue was water not making it out to the sewer.Donnie showed up identified himself asked about the problem to verify what he had was correct. He used the electric powered line clearing machine to run from the outside access to the sewer line. He used a flashlight to let me look down the hole and see that the pipe has slid a little bit from the T connector out of the house allowing roots to grow and block the exit.Donnie ran his machine out to the sewer and then attempted to get it to run back towards the house for the 2 to 4 ft that the run is however the offset pipe at the bottom fought him for an extended period of time.He indicated that I would need to have the camera guy come out and check to see exactly what was going on and that they would give me an estimate to repair that.Benjamin Franklin came out to my house the day I called in the problem and the camera guy is coming out the very next day AKA tomorrow to get an estimate to repair the offset pipe.Donnie was professional friendly informative and did his very best to get the roots out of the line. Thank you DonnieUpdate:Travis and two others showed up to do the digging. The Earth around my home was so compacted that digging a 5 ft Deep by 3 1/2 ft wide by 5 ft long hole likely would have taken the three of them two days. During the entire time Travis kept me updated as to what was going on. He was professional friendly and courteous as were the other individuals with him.I have used Benjamin Franklin Plumbing in the past and was happy then thus the reason for calling them when the outside sewer line became clogged and it was discovered that it had separated slightly from the house necessitating additional work.

8/10/24 A drain technician, Robert/Brian, also came today to unclog our basement drain. It seems to be draining very well.7/8/24 John L. was very helpful in his advice with a broken, leaking bathroom sink faucet. I never would have thought to call Kohler customer service and use the faucets warranty. Waiting on parts to come in, and then someone will finish the job.Update 8/10/24: John L. came back and installed the new faucets. Everything went great.1/18/21 Paul was here almost all day today to reroute our kitchen sink drain and install another outside spigot (yes!). Everything went smoothly. Satisfied so far.James replaced one of our outdoor spigots. No more leaking, and we have no complaints!Edit: four days after replacement, the new piping added from the spigot replacement began leaking. We called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing expecting them to send someone out, but were instead told the nearest appointment was over 36 hours away. We have their Society plan that supposedly tells that a technician is available 24/7 for us. That plan does not appear to have much value, and we are still awaiting a fix on their repair job.New edit: Today (Sunday afternoon), James returned and repaired the leak. He used a different, stronger pipe connection, and the leaking has stopped. Our basement is drying up. We are happy that someone could come before the scheduled appointment time. It was just a little less than 24 hours after we initially called about the leaking.

We looked Saturday morning and saw that we has a leak in an outside faucet. After trying to stem the flow as much as I could, I decided I needed to call a plumber.So I called a few numbers ... and finally connected with the operator for Ben Franklin Plumber. I was concerned it needed to be seen ASAP, since it was already December ... and only promised to get colder. The Ben Franklin operator told me that she could get someone out to me later that day.Gavin arrived about three, looked at the leaked, and advised us to replace the faucet (bib). We did discuss trying to install a washer, but Brad recommended that it would be best to replace the 24 year old faucet for a more permanent fix. We agreed, and Gavin started his work. He kept us abreast of the work as he did it, and demonstrated the working bib when he was done. He also recommended not keeping the hose connected to the bib over the winter.He made sure that we understood the warranty, signed us up for a 15% discount, and accepted our payment. He was friendly, courteous, and about business during all of our interactions. We were quite satisfied with the service we received, both from Gavin and Ben Franklin Plumbing.
