We had to replace all the water lines in a new home we purchased, it was a massive undertaking. We also replaced two 40 gallon water heaters with a new tankless heater. Joe did an excellent job and was very thorough, kind, and professional. The new system in the basement was set up meticulously and looks very orderly and neat, even with a large number of water lines. Communication with Carter’s was very easy and they responded quickly to any questions. I would highly recommend using Carter’s My Plumber for any plumbing projects!

Great timeliness! Got out the same day, within a few hours to replace our water softener.Alex Jones was my plumber. He was professional, knowledgeable and courteous! He wanted to make sure we were completely comfortable using our system and knew everything we needed to do to maintain it. He also upgraded our drainage system to be up to code and prevent any back flow of sewage into the unit. He checked every faucet, shower head and toilet after he was done to ensure all were functioning properly.

Honest estimates, fair pricing and professional service. We recently had Carter’s install a water softener, and couldn’t be more satisfied with their work. We ended up having two techs (Andrew and Keith) because we also had them assess a possible drain issue. Both arrived on time and were very thorough, and patiently answered all of our questions. We found their pricing to be competitive, fair and most importantly transparent. They gave straightforward estimates on any work we inquired about. Not once did they try to upsell us on anything. Phenomenal service from start to finish. The inspection/quote process was extremely helpful and never once did I feel forced into any type of service. I contacted Carter Plumbing after reading a recommendation from someone on the next door app. I had a huge spike on my water bill and was hearing a constant running water sound coming from one toilet and a hissing sound coming from another toilet. I requested an appointment online over the weekend and someone called me Sunday evening to schedule me an appointment for the next day. Gabriel showed up before our scheduled appointment, was very professional and explained things very well. I will definitely be using this company for future jobs.

Heres how I ended up using Carters My Plumber and my experience w them: my water softener stopped working 2 months ago. One company gave me a quote, then later told me it would be an extra $150 if they had to carry the new softener to the basement (uhhh, nope). The 2nd company was pushing their own brand, which wouldve been fine except I asked for a spec sheet. They sent me to a website where I couldnt find the specs, then sent me a brochure that still didnt have the specs (wasting time I didnt have). So I put the whole thing on pause over the holidays. Ironically (?) my electric water heater then failed a week ago (9yrs old, but probably didnt help to have such hard water/scale running through it). So I researched. I ordered the softener I wanted from an online wholesaler. I went on BBB as well as read Google reviews. I had Carters and another plumbing company (both had excellent reviews) give me a quote for the softener (install only) and a new water heater plus install. A couple of things pushed me to choose Carters. First, Mark (field Mgr) gave me his card which had his cell phone #. I had alot of questions and was able to text him. Mark answered quickly, including later in the evening, and became my point of contact for scheduling. I so appreciated not having to make any more phone calls. Then there was Paul. Pauls their plumber who did both jobs for me (on separate days bc the softener hadnt arrived in time). Paul was obviously quite experienced and made me feel comfortable (he wasnt condescending the way some techs talk to a single Mom). He took his time, but was still efficient and did things right. He also noticed a plumbing error made by someone Id hired a year ago when my basement flooded. Thank God! The other reason I chose Carters is that the pricing seemed fair. Its never fun to have to spend so much money right after Christmas, but they did offer simple financing. The only thing Id recommend Carters to reevaluate is if they can temporarily turn the hot water back on to give the homeowner a day to think - that was a big plus for the other company. Otherwise, Im so happy to have found Mark & Paul and a company I can trust. Ill be scheduling them to fix the other plumbing error next week.

The plumber did a great job installing a Moen flow detection/water shut off valve on our main water feed to our house. He was on time, efficient, knowledgeable, personable. The only glitch was the internal communication at Carter’s. I had spent time with the original estimator, and sent pictures and dimensions of the supplied fittings that came with the valve since our home has a 1-1/4” main feed and we wanted to make sure that the installer brought the proper fittings. No fault of the installer, he was not informed of this and subsequently had to leave the house and run out to a supply shop and pick up the necessary fittings. This added 40 minutes to the process. Installation went very well after that.

Great experience with Carters My Plumber this week. I submitted a form to get information and within minutes had a call. An hour later, someone was here to give me a thorough review of my situation — really taking the time to figure out if a tankless water heater would work in my house. We settled on a regular water heater and two hours later, I had someone here to install it. He was professional, courteous and got the job done quickly, while also giving me some quick free advice on another situation. Highly reccommend!

Tech that came out said we should call another plumber because the parts are under warranty but Carter doesn’t work on Watco softeners. Seems like they could ask about brands before charging a trip charge to come out. Also expressed frustration with his office staff because they didn’t add a $20 diagnosis charge on top of the $79 trip charge. At least he honored what they quoted me! Seems like they need a better office staff…....02/20/24 I am updating my review from 3 stars to 5 stars. The Service Manager called me to discuss the situation. I normally dont respond to things like this, but Chris was very diligent in his desire to understand what happened. In the end, he showed me the warranty location on the Watco softener @ Lee Supply that clearly shows the labor should have been covered. I believe Carter did the right thing initially, and I am very impressed with Chris desire to understand what went wrong so he could ensure it didnt happen again. High integrity company!

I had the stem break off of a Moen cartridge trying to get it out. Too much calcium buildup and the prior owner didn’t have a water softener working.That’s when I decided to stop and call Carter’s. I called, scheduled a time and called again to move the appointment window - all a smooth process 24hr.Paul was the serviceman who came out the next day and he was fantastic to work with. The price to replace it seemed a little high in my opinion but I anticipated that as I wanted to ensure I was working with a large enough org who could tackle the job of breaking the cartridge out and would have the replacement cartridges on hand as I didn’t have any paperwork on the current valve/cartridge.

Excellent service by Carter’s once again. They repaired a crack in the plastic pvc sump pump line that was leaking on the outside of the house. They even replaced a section of the pipe on the inside at 90 degrees just to be safe to make sure it would last. They noticed that the crack on the outside was caused from house settling, so they got a special rubber piece to give it flexibility for the settling. They didn’t have that piece with them, but went back and got it. They could have done the repair without that piece and been on their way, but they wanted to do the job right. That’s what I love about Carter’s!

On this particular job, I needed to replace a Price-Pfister shower cartridge but the set screw was damaged. Jim ordered a new trimkit which was expected to be delivered in a month. A month passes -- P-P said just kidding and that it was out of stock. Tonya & Erin to the rescue! They found a trimkit (w/o cartridge) which arrived the next day. Plumbers Joe & Ryan arrived the day after that, acquired the correct cartridge, successfully removed the stubborn trimkit, and replaced it. Other than these few hiccups it was a 5-star experience.

SR 135 in Greenwood, IN, came out to my home in Rosewood subdivision in Fishers, IN to remove a leaking Rheem gas water heater tank and install an Bradford White Infiniti K-Series Natural Gas Tankless Water Heater.Wow, what a relief it was to have an experienced, professional, licensed plumber show up at my door. It’s been a long while since I’ve met an old school professional with tact, charm, manners, and humility. He politely answered all of my questions and concerns and surveyed the job site to determine his best course of action.Afterwards he and his assistant brought down all of their tools and equipment and quickly removed the old Rheem gas water heater tank. And before long, I could hear the minor construction and drilling going on behind the closed door to my utility room while I watched TV with my grandson in my finished basement.And after watching a decent length movie with my grandson, Paul and his assistant were done and a beautiful looking Tankless Water Heater was sitting upright on my concrete wall where my old Rheem water heater had been located. Wow, what a sight for sore eyes and not having hot water for several days in the dead of winter. No more sink baths in my household!!!So after Paul showed me how simple and convenient it was to adjust the temp setting and/or lock them in place, my wife and I were finally relieved that we had just purchased a quality product in Bradford White. We online scheduled on Sat, someone called us Sun, and we had a plumber here on Monday! Thats convenient! Fantastic service! They got a new clothes dryer and very heavy washing machine up a long flight of stairs and installed them both quickly. They were very polite and professional. They disposed of all the packing materials and even vacuumed up the bits of styrofoam when they were done. This was also a short notice job and they showed up right on time. They get my highest recommendation and theyll be the only call we will make the next time we need a plumber!!! THANKS GUYS!

Something that is lacking in this day and age especially among the young is integrity, dedication, honesty and putting the customer first. Wes hit all points. It was a joy to have your issue resolved..in this case a clogged drain not only that but after further investigation unearthing why the drain continues to clog. Other plumbers just opened the drain and got paid. Because of Wess diligence, this is a problem that will no longer be a problem.
