    I woke up at 2:00 am with no water. I called Lonnie from J / L and said he would be out within an hour. He showed up and pulled my pump. Once he got it up. He showed me that the problem was a wire had broken.. Lonnie had my water back on . and I was very happy. I would not call anyone other than Lonnie. Price was fair and I didn’t have to wait .

    On Saturday morning I, placed a call to J&L Well Service & Pump Repair, spoke to Mr. Hughes. Mr. Hughes, came to my homes and was vary efficient and we were told our well pump was out. Our well pump was replaced and all services were rendered. I would recommend this business, for any well work. I have worked with Mr. Hughes, for several years and have had nothing but satisfaction.

    I have used Leon for several of my rental properties. Leon is a very honest man. He looks over his jobs and and tells you upfront as to what is wrong with your stuff. And he tells you how much the job is before starting it. He explains in detail as to the cost and if there is any issues that arose after completing the job. The cost will be extra if such anything else goes wrong as to plumbing busting etc. And as to a review I just read. Didnt quite understand why someone would make a statement to Leons work. As from my gathering information the man had plumbing issues after Leon had end up installing 2 pumps as the first one he put on was defective so he went and bought another one and installed it the plumbing busted as the poly pipe was very old. Leon had gave him a price to replace it and the man did not want to do it. As for saying he left a 82 year old without water would be such a shame on his end for doing the lady like that. As for Leon tells you upfront there is additional fees. Being that its a new Pump with old poly pipe the pressure of the new product would cause plumbing to bust. If you didnt want him to fix it looks to be you left the 82 year old woman without water shame on you. As this man has been having a lot of other companies giving him bad reviews and having people say false things on his reviews. And he has never done any work for the people that is giving him bad reviews. I have used him for several years and will continue to do so.

    Ive known Leon for over 20 years I cant believe it when I saw this. Leon helped me out in aktin and I had frozen lines and well and didnt charge me a dime. He is a kind hearted man. I dont believe these reviews. Install New pipe and water, coordinate well and clean it and installed a new psi switch. He put in a new adapter. Im only writing this because he has no problems with anyone out here. Blair well service bad mouths everyone and everybody believes him. He tries to put everyone out of business. He works on a 92 year old womans well all the time and doesnt charge her a dime. Constantly cleans it and fixes it.

    I called this company on Monday and they came out the same day and replaced my well pump. Leon called me every day for the rest of the week to ensure I had water pressure and encouraged me to have my water softener replaced (Freys Water Systems did a great job). Leon also returned within a week when I realized that my well pressure tank was also not working properly and he quickly installed a new one and provided me with all manuals. Hes a dedicated worker and quick to provide service - Id definitely recommend him to others.

    Leon came out to give me a second opinion after a large local well company diagnosed a dead and likely irretrievable pump with a hefty price tag. Leon referred me to one of his competitors that specialized in removing stuck spools. He called back a few times to make sure his competitor/peer was on the job and getting my water restored. His time and advice was free of charge. This interaction and intra-industry cooperation should be the model for all home utility service companies. Leon and the guy he referred were honest, fair and willing to work hard to get me a cost-effective fix instead of an unnecessary whole new system.To address what a few negative reviewers have said, yes, Leon is a bit difficult to understand. At the end of the day, it didnt negatively impact the level of service he provided. He knows his stuff and works hard. Thats what I care about.

    We started having well issues and asked another company to come out and give us some advice. They said all we needed was a new pressure tank and would be out the next day (Friday) to fix it. However they were a no show and by this time we had no water at all. Upon reading some other reviews we contacted J & L Well Drilling and Pump Service who came out that same day. They determined we had a bad pump and pressure tank. They ordered the needed materials and were out first thing Monday morning. There were done the same day and we had good water flow. However, the new pump failed overnight. Something to do with our acknowledged crappy wiring. Leon and his crew took care of everything and we were back in business after a few hours. We have to say Leon is as determined as they come in getting the job done and getting it done right. We would heartily recommend J & L Well Drilling and Pump Service.

    We had j& l put in a new pump and well cleaning. I thought they were prompt couerteous knowledgeable and reasonable in their price. Later we had an adapter break on the well casing, and they came out right away and repaired it, again no problem. Would recommend them to anyone. The owner Leon was a great guy to do business with.

    I am very pleased with J & L service. I have well water and there were no water coming to the house. They came out the same day I called to give me an estimate and the next day to fix my well water issue. The water pressure is better than before. No one else I called could offer the same warranty they have. My Well water had stop the next day due to a different issue and they came straight over to fix the issue. I am very surprised by their service and glad that I stumbled across them on google. Thank you J & L Service you guys are awesome!!

    I have know J and L for many years. He has worked on several of my families wells and pumps. Has never had no type of faults of any nature. Very quick to get to places and get the jobs complete. As to the understanding to the review I had seen about the family that had issues a night before Thanksgiving of 2020. I do know first off that leon and J and L pump and well service does not sub contract his work at all. And I do know that when he received that call night before Thanksgiving. He had told them that he will call around to try to find another company that can help them. As to there was a death that had just occurred with Leons family member and he was not able to help on that service call. So he had called several places to find someone to help and could not find no one that would be able to address the situation being holiday. His last resort he called Amazing pump and he gave them the customers information as they said they would go out to address the situation. As he does not sub contract any work to any other company. And that was last company he had called to help the people. And he had told the people he would call back to let them know as to if he found someone and who he had found. And the people would not answer the phone.

    J & L really took care of my family and I when the well pump went out and we lost water to our entire house... on a Sunday. They were out within an hour, and worked quickly to determine the issue and provide a solution. The owner (Leon) took the time to explain things to me, and answer any questions that I had (sometimes more than once). Im very pleased with their service, and will have them out again for some additional work that Id like done on some of the plumbing inside the house. Thanks!

    Purchased a home with a well in Brownsburg. First time with a well and we had issues with it from day one...and these issues our home inspection did not show. Leon and Bobby spent a great deal of time cleaning it 2 times, putting in a new tank, and bringing riser up to code. Explained the process and called us for follow ups. Our water clarity is improved. Highly recommend. Also, if looking to purchase a home with a well, I recommend having J&L inspect instead of paying extra for home inspector. Although, reasonable prices it would have saved us so much by catching this before closing.

    Leon came out on a Friday morning shortly after I contacted him. I had no running water in my house so I was in desperate need of some help . He got my well up and running the same day . He also chemically treated my well for bacteria and mineral build up . My water is the clearest and cleanest it has been in many years . The pricing was very reasonable and I will use J&L in the future for all of my well and plumbing needs .

    I actually called J&L second after our well pump died--but if Id called them first, Id have saved a lot of money and had my water back at least a day sooner!After the other guys (the ones with lots of billboards, but this isnt about them) broke my system and tried to bill me for it, Leon and his crew came the next day and replaced my pump AND fixed the other guys damage, for the same money the first company quoted me for just the pump! (And unlike the other guys, he didnt try to rack-up our bill by selling us stuff we didnt need.) So Id have saved about $500 if Id called J&L first!On the phone, Leon might come across a little gruff, but dont let that give you the wrong idea--in person hes a very nice guy, and from the moment he shows up hes a man on a mission until hes got your job done. Ive recommended him to all my friends/coworkers who have wells. In a business thats got some shady people, Leon did right by us, and well never call anyone else.

    Lost water pressure over a Saturday and Leon and Roger were over within a short time. They cleaned the well screen and determined that the well pump was still working per specification by pulling the pump up and water came out with a good flow. They determined that the problem was not with the pump outside but rather inside of the house and correctly diagnosed the problem. They are knowledgeable, polite and the price was very reasonable. Leon called back afterwards to see if the system was working normally. I would recommend them again for all your water well needs.

    Our well pump went out and Leon took care of it the same day it died. He also replaced our pressure tank and gave me plenty of good advice about how to maintain our well and our plumbing in general. Would recommend them to anyone who has a problem with their well system!

    Our well was hit by lightning, Leon came right out and assessed what needed to be done. He replaced the pump, wire into the house and pressure tank switch. He explained everything and helped us get a fast insurance claim. Very satisfied with their work.

They are very knowledgeable and taught me how wells work and what things to look for in the future before pump failure.     I call plumber for my well because I had no water. Boy did I make a big mistake I couldnt believe the price . So I called another plumber and they were more than the first one they didnt even know how to get to the well.Twell.Then I call J and L water Well Service and they didnt charge of the price . They were very professional I havent had such clean water the whole time Ive lived here.He cleaned my plumbing out for me and reset my water softener were it should be at J and L water Well will always be my Well man. DO NOT CALL PLUMBERS FOR YOUR WELL. I Recommend them highly.

    It was freezing and we had no water. We called a few places but just didnt get a good feel. Most places acted like they were doing you a favor to provide service. When we called J&L there was definitely a different feel. They actually did troubleshooting on the phone with us! These guys are the real deal. They will take you through the process and you will end up being a satisfied customers. They know their stuff! It feels good to know we have a company we can rely on and if we or anyone else has this type of problem this is who we will recommend.

    We had very low Pressure Leon came out on a Sunday gave a quick estimate treated the well that day and came out the next day to replace the well pump and pressure tank and we had great running water before lunchtime. If you need well service in Franklin give them a call.

    Lost all water pressure over the Thanksgiving holiday. Leon and Roger came out that same evening and replaced the well pump switch so I got my water back. I also needed a new well pump (the one I had was probably the original from when the house was built.) These guys are super helpful, dependable, polite and the price was right! Good old-fashioned pride in doing the job right! Cant say enough!

    My name is Rainy, a I am Andews neighbor I live across the street. I seen J&L well service pull up in Andews driveway. Leon knocked on his door and Andews wife answered Leon ask why they gave him a bad review. Me and my husband where there the day he came out 2 months ago he didnt deserve bad review because Leon told Andrew the filter was clogged Andew told Leon there was no way because he changed it already . We saw Leon put the multi- meter on the wiring and it had high amps. The review was a lie.Leon just told Andrew that is pump would advenagely go out. Andew was showing off in front of his wife . I seen it with my own eyes. Leon and I was talking we know CJ was over there this Saturday offered to cut the price if Andew was to put a bad review which is crazy I just want the truth out there!!     Great service from great people. We had a pump go bad and when they went to pull it, it was stuck. He explained the process and they finished up the tank replacement and everything except the pump the first day. And as Leon said, today (July 4th Holiday) Leon and his assistant were here early and the pump came right out. They had water flowing outside within 30 minutes off the pump head line to flush out and water in the house 30 minutes later. He gave very specific instructons on the process to turn water on one item at a time, and run for certain periods of time. Hell be back in 5 years for the service of the system. No one has done anything to my well for the 19 years ive owned this hoise and Leon gave us good info and educated us on how to maintain a well as a home owner.     Call j&l well and pump repair my mother had a leak at her well they came out the same day and just let me say Leon has cancer but he works every y that he is able but anyways he talked my mother threw what was going on and how he and his helper was going to fix it now might I add it was last week the temperature was 103 it was hot that day but they worked threw the heat they pulled my pump up out of the well they cleaned and chlorined my well and all the plumbing in my mothers house and repaired my waterline and was very informative about all they where doing I truly trust Leon of JNL I recommend them to anyone who is in need of help call JnL first they know know what to do thank you Leon JnL

    Our house is really old. When our water suddenly stopped working we called these guys. They were great and helped and explained to us what was going on, what needed to be done and why. I know we got a great because our neighbors were surprised at everything they did for that price. We have lived in our house since 1984 and the water pressure has never ever been this great.     Leon came out to fix my well that stopped working. It was an old well dug in 1939 evident from the paperwork I got with the house. Turns out it was Leons grandfather that did it. I gave him the paperwork from 1939 and he said he was going to frame it!!!! Anyways he did an excellent job. Because it was so old it got stuck many times, and as a result many lesser people/companies would have gave up and advised to dig a new well. They got it out after a couple days and the well is working perfectly. He said it is a well built well and should last another 80 years! Pricing was extremely fair and the education was invaluable. Thank you LEON!!!

    I highly recommend J&L mechanical well pump service company. I am 70 years-old and had the need for well pump and tank services many times over the years. All our many homes of had Wells. Our 1st need for well service at this home which weve lived in for 7 years was several months ago when lightning hit our well-and burned-out the pump motor. I call J&L about 10:00 p.m. that same night they answered the phone immediately and were at my house at 10:00 a.m. the next morning. It was a very hot day but they still had a new pump installed cleaned and chlorinated and the well back in service by mid afternoon that same day. I found the pricing to be very reasonable and found out a few days later that my next door neighbor who had a similar service done by a different company-paid significantly more money. Yesterday afternoon which was August 14th I realized we had a problem with a pressure tank as it was rapidly losing pressure with no water usage in the house. I call J& L and they arrived at my house at 11:00 a.m. the next morning to make the repair. Again the pricing was very reasonable. I will never shop for another well service company again and as I said earlier I would highly recommend them to anyone.

    I live in Brownsburg and moved into this house about a year ago. Upon doing a search another well company came up first. Lets just say they would not give me the time or day. They also said it would be at least a week before they would come out. So I called J&L water Well drilling. It was Absolutely the best service I have ever had. It was a Sunday when I called and he was very quick to respond. He even suggested a few things for me to try over the phone. I ended up needing a new well (the old was over 55 years old) that I found out had never been serviced which the screen and the well itself was very clogged. They were here first thing that Monday morning and stayed till the job was done. They dealt with a down poor of rain for 2 days. Please do yourself a favor and call J&L first. You will not be disappointed.

    Called 8AM and they arrived about 9:30Tested circuits and pulled pump] which wasBad. By 1:00PM we had new pump installed and running. Great service if you have well problems. Highly recommend.
