    I’d give 10 stars if I could! A little history… I’m making updates to my home including new flooring and converting my tub to a shower. My tile people gave me like 3 days notice (after waiting for months to get on the schedule) that they would be starting. My first call to Hamm & Sons would have put me outside the target date with the installers to move a floor drain on slab and install the shower control valve in the wall. So I called another plumber (Hope) who kept texting me that they were “running late”. At 5pm I called and rescheduled with them for the next day, knowing this was not a 30 min job. They again kept texting me that they were “running late”, so I cancelled and called another plumber (Roto Rooter). Despite calling and telling them they full scope of what was needed (both to call center and local dispatcher) they sent someone who had never done anything like this. I called Roto Rooter and was like “this person isn’t qualified”, and so they sent a service lead who gave me a quote of *just* the move for the floor drain of $4900. I was shocked. So the next day I call Hamm and Sons again and Yancy walks me through that the price seems out of normal range. As the tile work ended up getting paused for plumbing it really wasn’t an issue of timing anymore and which vendor could do it fast enough.Today, Brayton from Hamm & Sons arrived. Despite looking young, he is clearly experienced, as evidenced by the questions he asked and his understanding of what needed to happen. It was also obvious he knew how to accomplish it and properly. He communicated clearly, explaining everything well and was respectful, professional, tidy, and organized. All for just shy of $800 for both the floor drain move (in a concrete slab, which required some chisel out) and for the shower valve control rework including work materials (I had valve) and 5 hours work for him and a helper.I can’t say enough good things about my experience and Brayton.Hamm & Sons has done two water heaters for me through the years and a water softener and some other small projects-they are the best!THANK YOU!

    We had a sump pump service call with hamms and we’re very pleased with the service provided. I appreciated that I received a text from the tech an hour beforehand with a photo so that I knew who to expect. He was professional and kind. He did a thorough inspection and explained things simply. our issue was non-urgent and we still had an appt within 48hrs of calling so thought that was good service. We will definitely use them again!

    My sump pump went out. I called at 7:00 AM the next day, and I was scheduled to have my sump pump replaced from 1-3. I got a call about 12:45 that the technician was on the way. Keaton Davis did an excellent job replacing the sump pump.I really appreciate how quickly this repair was done. I have a back up sump pump, but I feel more safe with the main sump pump running. Hamm & Sons Inc. is a plumbing company I can really trust.

    Hamm & Sons was the only company I found that quoted an exact price over the phone to replace a water heater. I called other companies to get even a ‘ballpark’ figure and none were willing to give me one, although one finally gave me a price with no guarantee. Another insisted someone had to come to my house to give me an estimate. Both prices were more than $600 over Hamm & Sons’ price. I was so worried by the extraordinary price difference that I called H&S back several times to confirm. The price charged after the installation was the exact price given over the phone. I also expected a less than qualified installer to show up due to the low price. My worry was proven wrong. Keaton (I hope I got his name right), a professional in every way, arrived alone, said it would take about 2 hours to install, but I’m pretty sure the entire install didn’t take longer than an hour from the moment he arrived until I handed him a check!Time will tell about the quality of the water heater, but I was so impressed with the entire installation experience that I’m telling everyone I know.Update: Unfortunately, they don’t unclog drains.

    This is an amazing company!!! I have dealt with several plummers over the years in Indianapolis and they by far are the best. I had a small leak in the line running from the refrigerator water dispenser to the line under the sink. I had another company come out and their quote was OVER $600 - Hamm & Sons came out with No Extra Fees- no trying to up sale other items Not Needed and did the work for just under $100!!! They will be the Only plumbers I use moving forward.If you have any issue do yourself a favor and call them!

    I had smelled gas from work done previously. They sent 2 men right over. They spent a good amount of time checking for leaks, and I didn’t have one.
