I recently had the pleasure of working with Jack, who was assigned to install a new control board for our furnace after it was diagnosed as the issue by other technicians. However, even after the installation, we continued to experience the original problem. I contacted Service Experts, and Jack returned promptly, assuring me that he wouldn’t leave until the issue was fixed. He spent the entire day troubleshooting our system and ultimately identified and fixed the root cause. He was incredibly patient with me, taking the time to explain every step he was taking during the troubleshooting process. He ensured that we weren’t billed for the control board installation since it wasn’t the issue and adjusted the invoice to accurately reflect the new parts and labor. He turned what was going to be a frustrating experience and poor review into a great one. Thank you, Jack!

Had a really great experience. Reasonable pricing for 2 issues that needed to be addressed (shower valve and toilet replacement). Was always on time, patient when I had to run to lowes to return a defective toilet and bring the new one - and still managed to get the work done within the window.

My 40 year old AC broke down on Saturday evening . I was able to schedule a service call online for Monday at 8am. The service team arrived on time and diagnosed the issue with the AC unit. They did not hard sell me but gave me all options. They could repair, replace the AC, or replace both the AC and Furnace. With the estimated costs on each option. I knew my whole system was running on borrowed time so I had done some research on replacement costs. They came in below what I had estimated so I decided to do both Ac n Furnace. They were able to do the install that day. They could not finish the install same day, but The install team worked until 9:30pm to make sure I could at least go to bed with AC. I didn’t ask for that they just did it on their own. That blew me away! They came back the next morning, and finished everything off in a couple of hours. Great experience all around! Don’t hesitate to use them for your HVAC needs.

He tolerated me knowing just a little about heating and air and explained everything he was doing. Camden Mercer and Scott Mercer arrived first thing this morning to replace our 18 year old air conditioner that went out yesterday. They were professional, thorough, friendly and communicated all needed information. Both the furnace and AC areas were left very clean after completion of the service. We have been customers of Service Experts at Broad Ripple HVAC for 25 years and have been happy with the service.

Our air-conditioning went out last weekend and Broadripple service experts was able to show up the next day. There was a hidden short somewhere in the system and Greg and Jacob took time to methodically test every part to find the short. When they did, they made all of the necessary repairs in short order. Greg and Jacob were extremely communicative, prompt, and friendly. This was a very great experience – well, as great of an experience as you could have when your air conditioning goes out!

Overall the experience with the team was good, but there was a major disconnect between the sales associate and the installation team. While the sales associate was at our home, he noted the work for installing two units could be done over the weekend (this was a Wednesday), along with air return work and other changes. I assumed the work would be done over the weekend, but the installation team needed three days to get all the work done (over a full week). In addition, the installation team was not aware of all the technical work that needed to be done in our home to install the two units. Again, the installation team did a great job (thanks James H, Rob C, Scott M, and the others) for the work they did and making the systems work. But it was clear the sales associate and the installation team did not communicate clearly on the work, time it would take, and the overall project. I appreciate price adjustments to account for the longer work time and installation changes, and will continue to use BRSE, but if you have a sales associate walk through the work and note when it will be done, I highly encourage you to ask for an installation technician to be there, or ask the sales associate to verify everything with the installation team before they arrive for the work.

BR heating did a great job for me. They came out on Sunday before thanksgiving and diagnosed the problem. They couldn’t get the parts until Monday. They put me on the schedule for Monday even though they were completely booked. Romney came back Monday evening and got us running. He basically saved our Thanksgiving.

UPDATE TO REVIEW: MAINTENANCEThe day after the repair described below, I called and scheduled the free preventive maintenance thats part of the Maintenance Plus Membership that we had never had done before. Jonathan Woodard, the technician, did a thorough job and was very good about explaining the maintenance steps and the likely future of our very old unit. I wanted to write him a separate review, but I couldnt find the Write a Review button so I added to this one. He was excellent--5 stars.ORIGINAL REVIEW: REPAIRI realized around 4pm that our air conditioner wasnt working, so I called Broad Ripple Service Experts. The dispatcher was very kind, and the technician, Ethan Saghir, agreed to come out as soon as possible. Ethan checked the unit and determined the problem. He explained how much it would cost and warned that there could be other problems behind that one (its an older unit). He then drove 40 minutes roundtrip to get the part he needed. Fortunately, the new part resolved the problem, and in less than two hours since I made the call, we had air conditioning again! Being a Maintenance Plus Member is really worthwhile.

My mom‘s fan on her furnace burned out. Their representatives were punctual, polite, and very professional. They explain things thoroughly with multiple options. I did not feel pressured by them to make a decision. Since I was not comfortable, making a decision at that moment, they emailed me all the information that we had discussed. When they came to do the work, they were fast and professional, and cleaned up after themselves.I would highly recommend them.

I recently had another plumber in my house who gave me a list of things that needed to be fixed. This plumber was unable to turn the water off at my house so he left without any of the suggested work being done. I called Broad Ripple Service Experts and not only did they find that any of the previous work suggested by the other company did not need to be done, they did it in a polite, professional and expert fashion. In addition, I was not upsold once on anything. I will definitely use them for any future plumbing needs! If you are wondering he checked my water on/off valve and found it was working fine!

Although I was expecting to get only a quote for the job, Derek told us he could do it right then. He explained everything in detail before starting and gave updates as needed. Both Derek and Christian were pleasant, courteous, and good about wearing booties in our home and cleaning up after the job. In an often consolidates to oversell, overpriced service and repair world, Broad Ripple Service Experts has one outstanding antidote and his name is Romany. Great service and complete explanation of all things HVAC. And what differentiates Romany, and keeps me using BRSE, is his honesty in sharing details and expertise in explaining urgent and emerging issues and the alternatives. Not a high pressure ‘fix this or your system will fail’ but rather a complete diagnostic along with service recommendations that are not helpful. The hyperbolic fear tactics and often misleading or dishonest - and always overpriced - tactics seen so often are not the approach Romany used and it is refreshing! I am buying parts I can on Amazon - at great savings - and using BRSE when necessary including the installation of those recommended parts. Refreshing and keeps me a customer!

Ryan and his helper had quite an ordeal here when the began to dig and put in a new pipe. Our house was built in 1958 and I know from gardening the work it takes to dig. They encountered quite a stack of broken bricks and a very old Coca-Cola bottle. Both guys were a joy to work with. Professional, timely and personable. Lots of information was provided on each step of their work and great cleanup. I highly recommend this company and Ryan.

Broad Ripple folks came out to replace my HVAC system. Techs were very knowledgeable and professional when inspecting my old system. I agreed that I needed a new one. They gave me many options to choose from and their Advantage program seemed like a good deal. Installation took one day which would normally be 2 days. They brought in more people and worked into the evening to get the job done in one day just so I would have heat overnight. Tear down of old system and install of new was technically awesome. They left with everything clean. I have had other HVAC companies before and Broad Ripple is at a much higher level. They are my go to for HVAC & Plumbing. I also used them for adding insulation to my attic. Another great job. Outstanding company.For Plumbing, Broad Ripple is also my go-to choice. Ethan has been to the house a few times now. Sump pump replace, faucet replace and hot-water heater replace. Each time was outstanding workmanship and good price. Ethan explained everything well and got it done in good time. 1st class service.

This unit is old and Broad Ripple SE has been keeping it running in good shape since 2014. However, they have also been honest in letting us know that the system was not intended to last forever, and it would be going out sometime soon. After vacation, they gave us options on repairing it and replacing it. This time, we decided to replace it.The service was great all around:> DJ first came out to diagnose the non-functioning AC Unit. He had been here before, knew the system, and got right to the issue (damper system went out). DJs knowledge of his craft is impressive! He is very professional and explains his findings very well.> Jeffery E. met at our house to help consult on the options of replacing the unit. Jeff is also professional, communicates well and did a great job of presenting options without being pushy. He and DJ were very patient while my wife and I discussed the options.> Austin M. was our installer. He and Bryce were at our house, installed the new unit, two thermostats, showed me how to use it both at the unit and on my phone. He is very knowledgeable in how the new unit functions and made sure he transferred that knowledge to me.> Bryce and Austin were both professional, courteous and cleaned up well after they were finished.> Noah C. came out once too. This was because I didnt think the new unit was working correctly. It was. I just never had a high efficiency unit in my house before. It is amazing how quiet the thing is. Anyway, Noah listened to my concerns and verified that it was all working as expected. He was also professional and patient.The company is great. They recommended replacing internal gas piping that was nearly 35 years old with newer and more reliable piping. Thanks to Utility Shield, I only had to pay half the cost out of pocket. David and I discussed a lot of the issues weve had with our system and he gave me some explanations on how HVAC works and some things I can do to help potentially prevent issues in the future. He went above and beyond and was very thorough. He even went in the crawl space just to check something we were curious about. Super brave because he said he’s super afraid of spiders.David and Evan came and put insulation in our attic. Great pricing 5 TIMES cheaper than the other quotes we got and super fast work.
