Our furnace stopped working the temp was about 25 degrees. We were so impressed with how fast they came out & installed the new unit.

I don’t like writing negative reviews but this may be the only way to get a response from Armor Air. Two weeks ago I spent over $12K for a new heat pump. Adding a heat pump qualified me for a tax reduction for the year. However, I still haven’t received any paperwork for the new unit. I called many times and asked for the warranty, manuals, and other paperwork needed. The only thing I’ve received is an invoice which does not suffice for what I need. I also informed them that the technicians did a poor job. The panel unit was installed upside down which made it unsecured. When I removed it I notice they didn’t bother to put my filter back in and it was full of trash (parts from their work. See photo below). This trash/garbage could definitely cause a major problem if it got sucked into the unit. They also left the place very messy and dirty. If I was an elderly person or someone with no knowledge of what they did then I would definitely have problems down the road with their work. COME ON PEOPLE. HOW HARD IS IT TO GIVE GOOD SERVICE?!?Update: I am changing my review to positive because the owner (Jamie) reached out to me personally and assured me that he would take care of my issues. He even followed up our initial phone call with another one to make sure I received what I was needing. If the owner can take the time to ensure customer satisfaction, then I think this company deserves another review.2nd Update: As luck would have it, my blower went out on my furnace. Freddie came that day a diagnosed the problem. Being a Friday they had to order the blower and couldn’t install it until Monday. They actually came early and installed the new one, replaced my thermostat with a newer more advanced one I had before , cleaned up and we’re on their way. A supervisor (Dave) also stopped by and answered all my questions and I noticed he was working well with Freddie in repairing the furnace. Very happy with the job and price.Update #3My furnace went out Monday. I called Armor Air to look at it. Being that it was more than 20 yrs old and things were starting to go on it I decided to get a new one. Freddie (one of the best) came by that same day and after consulting with the workers, who were very skilled, came up with 6 different options for me. He didn’t try to upsell me on anything and even recommended a lower priced model since I’m using the hybrid system. He said he’d have it replaced the next day. Sean showed up early Tuesday morning and installed a new one and took the old one away. During his installation he noticed a leak from above the furnace coming from my toilet. He called the home office and they sent a plumber (Ryan) right out to fix that problem. Afterwards Sean went over everything I needed to know about my new unit and even gave me some pointers on how to make it more efficient. A+ to these guys!

While there wasn’t much that could be done to service the unit because it’s old and needs replaced and was installed before he was even alive he did the test, walked us through everything needed and found the best possible quote to replace our furnace and Ac!

Amazing work! (Unfortunately we don’t remember the names of the techs that did the job) but absolutely no complaints at all!! they were able to do installation next day after we called and installed us a whole new system (outdoor ac unit and furnace) in only a few hours! They were nice, and informative and explained everything clearly to my boyfriend and I! They cleaned up after themselves and over all good experience and for a good price! Thank you guys! Tim was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Our coil was rusted and causing us to be very low on refrigerant. He sold us a new system at a reasonable price. Install crew, Chad and Shaun showed up to install the system within the next couple of hours. They got the job done quickly. They made great use of the limited space available for the inside equipment. They were very respectful of our home and property. After they were gone, the only way to tell they were even here is that our house started cooling back down rapidly.

We called two companies before we tried calling Armor Air, but they didnt answer their phone; Armor Air answered on the first ring! and Tyler was at our house in less than an hour. Our furnace and air conditioning system had not worked in over two years, but Tyler found the problem immediately and had our heat back on in less than a half hour. I really liked that he let me watch as he inspected everything, and that he took time to explain what he was doing providing answers to all of my questions. Our HVAC system was old: the air conditioner was leaking all over the furnace, the furnace had rust all over it, and Tyler found a crack in our water heater with water leaking everywhere. Tyler explained all of our options providing us multiple progressive quotes. Even though Tyler had already repaired the heater, we decided to replace everything. Armor Air had 4 trucks and 4 techs at our house at 8am the next day, and Jordan, Chad, John, and John had our new furnace, air conditioner, water heater and thermostat installed in under 6 hours. Everyone involved in this process were polite and professional, and we had a wonderful experience We are so happy that it was Armor Air that answered our call!!

I finally found an excellent and honest company. Freddy was great and I highly recommend him and probably anybody else that would come out from this company. It was relieving to have somebody treat us like family and not try to upcharge. This is definitely a company you want to try to have service done by. They take pictures of everything that they find wrong with it while using their testers and send you copies of everything, whether it be videos or the pics. They really do go out of their way to help you.Update .... had my 6 month look over and I got Freddie again. Wonderful technician! He was again very professional and did thorough inspection. Hands down one of the best experiences Ive ever had through a heating and cooling company. They were very efficient on time professional in and out houses warming up couldnt have been any better. Was able to get a good fix at a great price and a very good can plan for the rest of the year to have it looked at twice a year have my hot water heater flushed and some other things you just cant beat it for the price. I told him I was still getting quotes for the job and would let him know. I had a couple of different companies come out but they didnt impress me. Let me start by saying that my furnace went out last year during the winter time. We had a large company come out, the tech said its your gas valve, he replaced it at the cost of $2000, the furnace then stopped working again. When I called back the furnace had started working again. So I left it alone. This year I turned it on....and nothing. So I decided to get some quotes on having a new furnace installed. I had one day this week to do it, and called about 6 companies, to get quotes, all the quotes seemed reasonable, but they were from salesmen. Lance from armor showed up and actually took the time to diagnose the problem and work to fix it he put on a new heat senor for us, and the furnace is working currently, we have decided to go ahead and replace as it is old and towards the end of its life. We will be having armor do the work and its all thanks to Lance. He was so knowledgeable and worked to fix it before just quoting prices for a new one. He price matched for us. He put up with our incessant questioning, and even took a call after hours to discuss options. Im so thankful that he took the time and due diligence and he made us feel comfortable in our decision to use armor. For once I dont feel swindled. Thank you!This is an addition. I had a problem with my air conditioner, and requested a tech to come and look at it, he came out and was super knowledgeable and friendly. He found the problem right away and the fix was well within my budget. He explained everything to me abd made me feel very comfortable. He just re-affirmed that I made the right choice going with armor air!

Called them when the furnace at our new house wouldnt kick on and they were able to have Fred out in about 2 hours. He was very friendly and professional. After checking everything he out recommended a membership because the system just needed cleaned/flushed, regular maintenance. After he finished he also set us up with an appointment to get our plumbing checked next week with our membership, and said we can do the same with our A/C in the spring. Happy to have all this stuff looked at and serviced and the membership fee of $149 seems like a smash price to pay for an of this. Thanks, Fred!

Matt was a friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable plumber for Armor Air. Once I showed him the sump pump location he started working. He did not slow down a bit - even when I went down into the basement to watch and ask some questions about the sump pump - he answered as he worked. Matt left the area as neat a ground it and tied together all the cords that had previously been dangling and twisted on the floor. He explained what I needed to be aware of and when to call. I trust what he did; it’s pouring now and I’ve stood next to the pit and have heard it run so I believe it’s working as it should.

I built a new house a few years ago and cooling has always been an issue. Original company A replaced the unit and has been out 5+ times and the cooling was still barely adequate and never took my complaints seriously. The unit completely stopped working over a scorching hot weekend and they wanted $129 just to schedule an appointment to have someone out in a couple of days.Armor Air was recommended by a trusted friend, and he was 100% right.A/C stopped working and I called Armor Air on a Sunday afternoon and they had someone out in a few hours with a $29 service call fee (the repair was much more but that was to be expected).Well it was Fred S to the rescue. He fixed the breakdown issue and took my complaints seriously about the cooling overall and was able to fix it. I also appreciated how informative he was with me about my hvac unit during this service call. This is the best by far my house has ever been cooled. I can now enjoy my house on hot summer days. Fred, if I ever see you in a bar an ice-cold beer is on me.

I had the drain pipe from my kitchen sink start to leak into my basement. Realizing that I was out of my league, I knew that I had to call in the professionals. I had previously come across Armor Air, saw the good reviews, and that they handle plumbing. I really like their price structure--knowing that you will only owe $29 in the event that you do not like what they are proposing really lowers the stress level when calling in a plumber. Amazingly, I was able to go online on a Sunday night and book an arrival for the following morning between 8 and 10 am. I received a text message that Jacob would be out and he arrived shortly thereafter. The 70-year old pipe that was leaking was buried in the wall behind my kitchen cabinets, but he expected he could fix the problem from under my sink. He gave me a reasonable proposal for fixing the problem based on what he saw, which I accepted. After he ran to the supply store to get parts and got into the wall, he found out that the problem was bigger than he expected and that the pipe would have to be replaced. He did not miss a beat and determined that he would have to get into the wall behind my cabinets. He somehow cut a neat hole in the wall through the back of the cabinet and replaced the pipe through this small hole in the wall. I think he may be a magician. Anyway, problem solved and he quickly cleaned up. When I complimented him on his creativity in solving my problem, he said that he loves his work (which I believe). Anyway, without me asking, and despite the unexpected additional work, he stood by the original price that he quoted and indicated that is his companys policy. All in all, Armor air has gained a long term customer.

The very first person who came here to try to install the HALO unit didnt do a thing right. It wasnt even connected! When he left, we noticed the silver electrical tape was coming apart & the unit was FALLING OUT of our furnace! I called Christian later that day & he said Itll still work. Just put some duct tape around it. WOW! SERIOUSLY?! Christian is an extremely kind, professional & patient person... I just later found out that he hadnt installed but a couple of these HALO units. I couldnt understand why they sent him here when Armor Air knew I wanted HALO installed. 😕After I requested a knowledgeable worker over, you sent an older (thank GOD) gentleman named Tim (with age comes experience!). Tim took one look & looked really shocked. He said one major thing was forgotten in this installation & then upon further inspection, he actually said none of this was done correctly. Do you remember who did this? So anyways, he took about 20-30 minutes to do the job right. I thought maybe some dust in our house was making me have severe allergies (b/c this is the FIRST TIME Ive EVER had a single allergy problem... but I started getting a runny nose, sneezing, really raspy voice which was the WORST, eyes constantly watering, etc). Tim said in about 3 weeks, I should notice my allergies go away (if our air quality was indeed the cause). Well, almost 3 weeks to the day, every single allergy went completely away.BUT THEN, a different employee came over the summer for a check-up & literally that evening, every single allergy came back. My Mother started to feel her allergy symptoms again too.I have since tried calling so he could come back here, but all to no avail.UPDATE: I was able to get ahold of Armor Air & requested Tim ONLY. He was amazing, yet again, as hes been doing this for years (years usually turn practice into near perfection). Within minutes, he was able to inform me that the entire HALO unit was bad. It literally broke within a few months of getting it (when it should last years & years lol). He had to order a new unit last week (day before Thanksgiving) & will be installing it this week.THANK YOU, TIM! 🤗

Had them come out because my AC unit outside wouldnt come on. I self diagnosed the problem as having a bad capacitor. The technician came out and replaced it, and is now running smoothly. Super nice guy and courteous. Sucks a 20 dollar part installed cost 320.00 but it is what it is. Not sure why you get charged for a service call either when youre paying for a repair. All and all would recommend, and will use again in the future.

The install was prompt and short notice during a heat wave was a refreshing response...pardon the pun...considering the previous repairman I called had said I cant get to it. I asked how long I have no working a.c. and he replied well I dont have any working air conditioning in my house either. ...I hadnt recalled asking him that, armor air is a real company, professional, to the point, fast, honest, and fair. I had a friend at the time who had been working at A.L. in town, I called her on her cell and asked for her personal recommendation of a solid company near me, whos going to be someone I can stick with ... end of story.
