I contacted this company on Tuesday May 21, around 11:00am. Troubleshooting was conducted over the phone. Contract was sent via email listing everything installers would do. Justin Russ and his partner arrived at 1:48pm the same day and installed a new water heater. They were courteous, professional and respectful of my property. Received the invoice the next day via email with the exact amount that was quoted to me. They even registered my water heater with the manufacturer for warranty purposes. Awesome and fast service. Recommend this company to anyone with for all their plumbing needs!!

When we had no hot water after the recent electrical storm, KR, Justin, and Scott responded immediately, restoring function to one tankless unit and explaining the options for repairing or replacing the other unit. The next day they installed a new unit. In the process, they discovered a serious problem with one of our faucets. Justin found a perfect replacement and installed it the next day. We’re grateful for the good service they’ve provided this week and in previous years.

Unbelievable service. Called yesterday at around 5:30 pm, our water heater broke, and they were here at 8:15 am this morning. It’s Saturday and they were in and out in a hour. Texas Water Heaters installed a new water heater for our house October 16th with Justin Russ as the technician. It was smooth in and out job done. After almost 3 months, the water stopped being hot which is weird for a new installed water heater. I emailed them to come check it out and they scheduled me right away next day. I was so glad that they got me so quick. Justin figured out the issue and fixed it in no time. Hot water is back on.Thank you so much for everything. In todays day and age of zero customer service with most businesseswe all deal with, working with KR and his team stood out as an exceptional experience. They came out ASAP to replace a busted water heater. KR KNOWS HIS STUFF. He was able to diagnose the issue, over the phone, within 5 mins by asking me to run a systematic check of the issue. He was absolutely right. The pricing they gave me was fair (not too high, not too low...both are concerning). They pulled a permit and even scheduled the inspection. Its clear that they know what they are doing. I will replace 2 more water heaters through them this year. Kudos to KR for running a tight ship.

Excellent as always! Been a Texas Water Heaters customer since 2015. Wont go anywhere else!Did an AC upgrade in 2015, spent 15k on it. Less than a week later my tank went out. Called around to find a replacement and Texas Water Heaters came out that day and installed a loaner tank! The owner then explained that by code they had to check all gas lines for leaks before installing a gas tankless. Turns out they could replace all my lines for less than the inspection! Went with it and never looked back! That Rinnai tankless rocked!!!Fast forward to 2023. Gas company is telling us we have to upgrade their external meter. To do so would destroy my wifes beloved garden. One call to Texas Water Heaters and they quote a replacement all electric heater at half the cost of any competitor I asked!They said theyd be onsite between 11am and 2:30pm. Crew arrived at 10am and finished at 10:38 after a run to get an electrical fitting (one they didnt need to supply per quote but did because theyre just that good) to make sure the electricians coming at 2:30 could finish the job same day!Call them, get the quote, accept it and lean back knowing youre in good hands. This company will get 100% of all my business on future projects.Im not one who throws names out when asked unless I feel 100% confident that I can recommend the best. I would hate to have a friend ask for a recommendation only to have them get sub par service.That said, from what this company has done for me, I will blindly and wholeheartedly recommend you get them to do your water heater project!Texas Water Heaters is a quality driven company that delivers excellence! KR is a real old school professional who takes his business seriously.I got quotes from $5,000-$10,000 for a tank hot water heater from the big plumbing companies (Home Depot aligned ARS rescue rooter for example) with all the sales agents..way overpriced and high pressure sales..I reached out to Texas Heaters with a google search and my quote was 50% cheaper AND it included a special booster pump which gives us more hot water than a typical 50ga tank.I feel it’s important to mention that we we did experience one anomaly, but they zeroed it down to an issue that was due to manufacturer error; but KR and his team never gave up and they came back two times and even called me Sunday morning as KR had thought about it all night the night before. He called me Sunday morning and walked me thru what I needed to do (very simple)… I took his advice and made one simple adjustment and we had perfect hot water.They never give up. They will always strive for excellence, and I’m very proud of them.You should never worry about your experience with this company and you will save several hundred, if not thousands of dollars. We had a catastrophic failure of our conventional water heater in our attic. So I called Texas Water Heaters. I explained the situation and they rearranged their schedule to have a tank-less water heater installed the next day. Communication was awesome. They kept me apprised of their efforts to reschedule and confirmed that theyd be able to install the next day. They said theyd call 20-30 min before arrival (which they did.) They also said itd take all day, but once the guy got there, he estimated itd be done by lunch time. At 12:15, we had a replacement water heater in our house. The installer was very knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. They respected our floors by wearing plastic boots over their shoes and also putting down drop cloths from the door, up the stairs, to our second-floor attic access ladder. Very impressed with this company and their service. Would recommend.

We are in the process if selling our home and replacing the water heater was part of our contract. Needless to say, I was rather reluctant since we have never had an issue with our hot water or water pressure.After calling around to a few different companies, I decided to go with Texas Water Heaters. Their prices were fair, where other companies seemed to overcharge. They gave me a quote over the phone, which larger, more commercially known companies refused to do as part of their more aggressive sales tactics.I wish I remembered their names, but the technicians were great. They explained their process, asked if I had any questions and were done in about an hour.My only complaint is that they mistakenly let my pup out of the house, which is more my fault than theirs. But they quickly found her and brought her back home. So if you have pets, maybe keep them in the garage or a kennel while they work.I will definitely be using this company for all my future plumbing needs once we are settled into our new home.

These guys are HEROES getting the Austin community back on its feet following the unprecedented cold wave that left so many homes with broken water heaters. The service has far exceeded my expectations, with a very reasonable price considering the extreme demand. Tony Russ was my installation technician and Ive rarely met such a dedicated service person. And everyone else Ive spoken to, from K.R. the owner to Anita (I think?) the receptionist, has been most courteous and helpful. More details about my experience below:After noticing that our water heaters started leaking after the pipes in our attic thawed, I called a few service companies and TWH were the first -and only ones- to reply. I quickly got on the phone with K.R. who had all the answers I needed, and I had an estimate within 15 minutes on the phone. I did a bit of research and found that the estimate was very fair and I was getting a better replacement Rinnai tankless unit for my busted pair of Rheem heaters. By end of day Wednesday I had approved the estimate, all online and a super easy process, and I was scheduled for Friday! At that point I didnt even think I was going to get a hold of anyone before at least two weeks - if not more.Because of the icy conditions remaining on Friday, it ended up being pushed to Saturday afternoon, I was told I was the last job for the day.6pm came, no one yet. 7pm, at that point I thought they were not gonna show up anymore. But shortly after that I get a message that Tony was on his way! I had given up hope, but he finally showed up with his apprentice, and even his wife who driving alongside them to help out. They worked through the evening and night, doing everything carefully and properly, and by midnight I had hot water in my house! They took special care to be as quiet as possible since my kids were already in bed, and everything looked pristine when they left. I told them then, but I want to say it again here, that I was so thankful and impressed at how dedicated and nice everyone was. And I didnt pay a single dollar over what was in the estimate, even with the extended hours.TWH is one of these local companies taking pride in serving their community, not trying to fill a shareholders pockets. I commend them for stepping up to the plate following this natural disaster -being affected themselves- showing integrity rather than greed. They will have my business from now on for any future water heating service/repair needs.

Do your diligence, and trust in these experts -Journeyman Tony came out with his apprentices Patrick and Aaron. My install was for a typical 1 story, 40 gal gas water heater. Let me tell you, these are the guys you WANT walking up your driveway.I have been on both sides of the handyman equation, both as customer and service provider. When I let Tony in to assess the old water heater removal, and how theyd do the installation of the new one, I could see his brain start clicking. He assessed all hurdles ahead of starting the work, and involved me in the discussion when new problems arose. When problems arose during the install he handled them instinctively. There was still cross training happening between Tony and his apprentices. Tony taught all the small details of both the install itself, as well as customer satisfaction (no tools on the countertops, etc.). As someone who was shopping for both price and quality, Texas Heaters is a great team to bet your money on.Now, ADVICE: This is unrelated to Texas Heaters and just broad advice for anyone getting a water tank installed.- This isnt a clean operation, so save yourself from a dirty carpet and get old bed sheets or painters drop cloths laid down ahead of time.- On older homes (mine was 70s) with outdated fittings, there may be a gas pressure test required. If that comes about, the scope of work drastically changes. Ask about it within the first 10 mins of the meeting.- For water heaters with no drain line, there is a +$400-600 shutoff sensor thats required for the drain pan. I called three companies for quotes, and only Lynn had the foresight to ask about the draining situation. Texas Heater quotes may be higher than other like-sized companies; but make sure youre comparing apples-to-apples.- Budget +$300-500 for permits. They may not be required given your situation, but City of Austin loves its building codes. Texas Heaters doesnt profit off permits.

I would have rated a 5 star, but even though the delivery technicians were very prompt, knowledgeable and efficient, they scratched and dented the hot water tank. I decided on 40 gal instead of a 50 gal just to prevent this from happening. However, I would highly recommend Texas Water Heaters.

I love this company. They installed my tankless water heater some years back. They come back to service it every year. During the initial install, ceiling dry wall was broken. They scheduled with me and a worker who came and fixed it good as new--fast and free. They are an honest company that does good work. I have never had a problem with them.
