    Not only did Pete fix the mystery of the ceiling light fixture, he did it with a kind, courteous, friendly attitude. His apprentice, Geo (spelling may be off), was also very kind and courteous. There is NO doubt that Pete knows his stuff! The 30-point inspection gave me an understanding of the condition of all things electrical in my house. I would absolutely call Salt again when electrical repairs are needed and insist on Pete! Awesome experience!!

    Justin and Salt were an incredible experience start to finish! I cannot recommend them enough.Justin is an absolutely thorough professional, who takes his craft seriously and gives solid recommendations.I had a dedicated circuit put in the garage for misc. usage and as you can see it is super clean.The membership is worth every penny and I’ll be booking a water and hvac consult asap!

    My experience with Salt is mixed. First, very happy with the quality of work, I had them out after a lightning strike fried my internal original electrical panel and was causing power issues in parts of the house. I did not get an alternate bid, because they were able to address and replace in the same day. I was unfamiliar with pricing so could not speak at the time, but after discussing with my insurance co, the cost was quite far above what they had estimated, but again something I wanted addressed quickly and I knew my panel was not up to current code.Thats where things started to get a little weird, they offered a fairly hefty discount if I signed up for their monthly maintenance package that would give a heat and cooling tune-up. I agreed because in the long run the cost of the package was less than without the discount.I just had the heating tune-up which was more a paid way to inspect my A/C and find more opportunities for work. The rep spent around 4 hours taking lots of pictures and not much else. At the end I was told that a duct cleaning was suggested and because I have 2 air conditioners the cost would be double the shown price. I did get a good laugh as the total cost for the cleaning was more than I paid for both new systems in 2019... Then they highly pressured to get it done same day ( after already spending 4 hours and it being 6 in the evening ) and giving lots of warnings that if you dont address now it will cost extra to come back.I am giving a 4 because they did do quality work originally and I am good with a premium to get it right, but really dont like the high pressure sales tactics and the ruse of a maintenance package.

    We have been wanting to clean out our a/c ducts for years. We received a flyer in the mail from SALT advertising a FREE in-home air quality check so we took them up on their offer. Eddy Cruz with SALT came out the next day. Our air quality tested great, but we discussed the air ducts with Eddy and he took many photos of our internal system. And just as we expected, they need cleaning. Eddy was friendly, honest, thorough and very professional and he has scheduled a team to come out tomorrow to clean our ducts.

    We have an older home and had an issue where our attic light switch started arcing and melted. We wanted to replace our circuit breakers with ones that detect arcing. However, our old panel would not accommodate the new breakers. Pete Silvas gave us a great price. He and Dell replaced the breaker box and installed the new breakers the same day. The new panel looks great, it is up to code, and my wife and I no longer worry about our outlets catching fire.

    This company and all of their employees are by far the best ever!Dec 31, 2024.. Again I had Salt Electric come out to fix a lighting fixture that came out of. The ceiling and had a new ceiling fan installed. Jeremy is the best and the company is super. I highly recommend Salt Electric!

    I just moved into this home a month ago and I had a short list of items of the home inspector’s findings that I wanted to address. A few were electrical items, and I wanted a trained professional to address those because I don’t mess with electricity. I found that SALT has great reviews so I decided to give them a call. The customer service was excellent and they had me booked within a day. Anthony and Joseph showed up the morning of the appointment and both were very professional in appearance and nature. From my experience, it can cause a bit of anxiety when you have to let strangers in your house, but I felt comfortable with Anthony and Joseph right off the bat. These guys were very thorough and knowledgeable which is precisely what I was looking for. They addressed all the issues and then some. While speaking with Anthony, he provided some background on the company and I didn’t even know, but SALT is a local business that has built a stellar reputation in the area and they treat their employees very well too! It was good to hear all these things from Anthony and I intend to have them come back to help me on a future project in the spring. Thanks guys!

    From Maricela who answered the phone at almost 8pm on a Sunday night to Jason and Adrian, the electricians who saved us from a malfunctioning alarm system that had been blaring for 13 hours, the service was thorough and outstanding at every step. Jason and Adrian brought treats for my dogs (who were still freaked out from the screeching siren). The repair turned out to be fairly straightforward and they didnt charge me an extra penny. I was delighted to learn that SALT is local, privately owned, and treats their employees well. I will absolutely recommend SALT to friends and neighbors.

    Garrett was very professional and knowledgeable. I was very impressed that he asked if I wanted to shadow him as he was performing his report. Garrett explained everything to me as he went along on what he was performing n explained the variables of the readings and why the variables were high or low. He made me feel like he was training me as if I was his apprentice! He is a big asset to salt service co!

    Wow, what can I say. First of all calling SALT regarding ceiling fan installation, the person was very detailed and asking very pertinent questions regarding the house, what exactly needed to be done, the age of the house, the electrical for the house and things like that I was very impressed. She, (I apologize for not remembering her name because she was awesome also), answered all my questions, again I was very impressed. I was also impressed by SALT as you pay for the job, not the time spent completing it.On the scheduled day Craig called and said he was enroute and gave a great time frame of when he was going to arrive. It was a morning appointment he asked if I wanted coffee, which was pretty cool. He arrived and completed the free electrical inspection. He made of couple of suggestions. One was optional because our home was only 4 years old. The code changed since out home was built requiring said equipment. We opted to wait on that, no pressure at all from him. He also pointed out a fix that needed attention and said if I was handy I could probably do it myself. It did not involve any electrical stuff, more of a weatherproofing situation, which I eventually took care of.I showed him the fans that needed installation. I told him all I know about the wiring, the brackets, the switches and our preferences for installation. He gave me an estimate for the work which I thought was more than fair. After agreeing, on the price he started work. During the time of the installation, I spoke frequently with him as initially we were both from out of state and lived/worked/went to school generally in the same area. He was exceptionally professional, friendly, and very courteous. He was here for a while so we had a chance to speak frequently, I never got the impression that I was bothering or annoying him, (which I hope I wasn’t). He knew exactly what he was doing. We were having two fans installed, and it did take some switching wires/circuits and some electrical magic to finally get the switches to the point where my wife and I would have liked them to be. He even gave us options on what he could do with the switching and said he could do either it was just up to us what we wanted. Again pretty awesome!!!! Both fans were installed, they needed to be synced up and that took of couple of minutes of troubleshooting, but he persevered and was finally able to get them individually paired to their own separated controls and switches. He was/is awesome. We have nothing but great accolades for him and the SALT company. Craig is an absolute asset to this company.We had SALT come out and work on our daughter’s electrical at her home, and the work was also 10 out of 10, and the tech was awesome also. Again Craig was/is very friendly, and professional. He said this fan installation was a little challenging, but again his knowledge and expertise got us to the end result that my wife and I had hoped for. I think we got more than what we paid for, but again I thought the price was very fair for the work that was done. Thank you so much Craig, you were awesome. We won’t hesitate to call SALT again if we need any work. If we don’t get Craig at that time, I’m sure someone just and professional will come out. Thanks again Craig and SALT!!!!!!!!

    Michael Cookson, Tryston and Brant are phenomenal workers. They worked so hard on cleaning my A/C, ducts and installing a UVV light. They were drenched in sweat and were physically exhausted and still smiled and made sure I knew what they were doing next and what to expect. I’m so impressed with their work ethic and dedication to the job! This company makes things right, they work with you and they have fantastic customer service. Are you going to pay a bit more for work they stand behind, yes, but it’s so worth it! They really live up to the phrase: Salt of the Earth.

    5 Star Service, 3 or 4 star price. The Tech was great and worked hard to install my EV plug in my garage. The dispatch/scheduler was awesome too. I could not believe the price and maybe I should have gotten another quote, so that is why I am going with a 4 instead of 5.

    My electrical meter was peeling off my home due to the ground shifting. While Salt does charge to come out and do a whole house inspection they responded the fastest of the multiple electricians I contacted. They came as a team and were very respectful and efficient. They made all the arrangements with my power provider which made the repairs stress free on my part. Their pricing was comparable or lower than the competitors.

    Chris Asturias with Salt Service Co. is outstanding! He and his technician, Garret Schneider, came to my house for a service call today on my HVAC system. They were both very professional and courteous. They took the time to explain everything that was wrong with my current system. They also explained all of my options as well.     I am in the process of preparing my home to be on the market. I reached to SALT through their website. Someone contacted me within 24 hours! The young lady I spoke to was very responsive and friendly. She listened to all my needs and concerns. I called on a Saturday and SALT could schedule the techs on Monday. I was impressed they could come out that soon.Monday arrived quickly. Brett and Jorge were the two techs sent to my home. They called me 15-20 minutes before arriving. They wore shoe coverings to protect the carpet. Brett informed me he listened to my phone call and read the notes the young lady provided him. I had to explain very little to him what I needed done.Their plan of action was incredible! They started from the outside, working their way inside the home. I had some light switches changed out, kitchen light installed, and my outside electric sockets fixed. They performed this job in under 3 hours. Brett also took the extra step to review the safety of my electric items in prep to sell my home. Now Im aware of what needs to be fixed and the cost. I also like that they provided me several different quotes and not just one. That is very important to me as I can make the decision on what to tackle first. They also offer finance options which is always a bonus in my eyes. I cant believe I almost forgot to mention their work is covered under a 2 year warranty at no extra cost.I would use this company again in a heartbeat. For me it is not just about affordable prices but techs who care about the job they are performing as well as ensuring the customer is happy. I was truly blown away by the service I received. Many companies should be striving to be like SALT!

    Tommy and Enzo were so amazing working on my kitchen light install this afternoon!!First, they were a great team and I appreciated how kind and supportive Tommy was as he helped Enzo learn through experience. It warmed my heart to see someone so eager to learn from a natural teacherSecond, Tommy was extremely knowledgeable and answered every question I had with precision and in terms I could understand. He was patient with me and made me feel instantly at ease with his professionalism and expertise.Third, before a single cut was made into the ceiling for the new recessed lights, Tommy and Enzo made extremely precise measurements to ensure the lights would be in line and centered in the locations I decided upon.Fourth, as they begin working, they were very conscientious of my belongings, specifically a picture on the wall of my late mother. They took great care to not only ensure that my things were disturbed as little as possible, but they put my mothers picture in a safe place, out of the way, lest it accidentally hit damaged.Finally, Tommy and Enzo equally cleaned the dust and insulation off the floor and counters, sweeping and vacuuming twice to be sure they got everything up.I cant say enough wonderful things about this dynamic duo, which is a testament to companys values.I highly recommend SALT and Tommy Garcia.

    Jason was very knowledgeable and explained all activities being done. A full inspection was done on the house and all malfunctioning items pointed out. Furthermore, nothing was forces to be fixed. He completed the install for my flood light camera and I couldn’t be happier with the service provided.

    There was a misunderstanding in the $99. charge for the estimate. I specifically asked is this a free estimate when I called to set up the appointment. Instead of just saying yes or no, the person on the phone lead me to believe it was free by saying a 30 point electrical inspection was complementary to evade answering my question. She was a fast talker and I feel like I was tricked into believing the EV charging station installation estimate ( which was the main reason I called) was free. Now I’m a bit suspicious of their honesty. Craig the rep sent out to my home was nice and knowledgeable, but I still had to pay the $99 estimate fee. As it turns out I have to award them the job in order for them to discount the cost by $99. Who does that?

    So far the sales and project engagement with Salt has been great. My husband and I had multiple items we wanted to address and Jason S. and Victor took their time to inspect our home, understand our objectives, and build out a comprehensive set of estimates for our review. Jason was very knowledgeable and thorough in identifying all areas of concern. He took copious amounts of notes and pictures to support his findings and armed us with a ton of information to aid us in deciding the best course of action. The level of service was bar none one of the best trade company engagements we have ever had. I highly recommend Salt and appreciate the attention to detail they displayed.Update: install team was just as professional and thorough. Greg and Tony were very meticulous and took pride in their work. Jason met with Greg and Tony to walk through all the project details before starting. Each project was double and triple checked with us and with the team to ensure everything was accurate and to our liking. Booties were worn any time they entered the house. Drop clothes were used to minimize debris and they took care to clean afterwards to leave no trace. They took pictures of the finished work so we would have record of it for future reference and emailed us copies. The electrical work was done with precision and we couldnt be happier with their work.Kudos to the teams for a job well done!

    We have an attic lift in our garage that had stopped working, and the manufacturer tech support would only speak with a licensed electrician. I called SALT and Anthony Salazar was dispatched for the service call. Anthony arrived on time and carried himself in such a professional manner. He was friendly and knowledgeable and mentioned that he even studied up on attic lifts to be more familiar with the equipment and it’s electrical needs. Anthony was patient and kind, he worked with the manufacturer through troubleshooting and fixing the electrical issue that the lift was having. He also did a complete inspection on our electrical panels and made recommendations on areas of improvement. It wasn’t a hard sell but definitely a great explanation to why he was recommending things and how it would benefit and protect our home and safety in the future. We were completely impressed with Anthony and his attention to detail and friendly demeanor. Other companies/technicians we’ve encountered are not as helpful or knowledgeable or willing to see the work through to the end and fully repaired. Anthony got our lift back in working order. We will definitely keep him and SALT in mind for our future electrical needs.

All their techs seem well trained. Only negative is their upgrade spiel on every trip. It’s worse than a car salesman and honestly detracts from their image.

    Salt did an excellent job with the project we needed done in our home. They communicated any issues they came across clearly and made sure we understood in advance if any extra work was needed. They also cleaned up nicely after they were finished working and the entire team was professional and courteous. Highly recommend them if you need high quality work for a reasonable price point.

    SALT quickly came to the rescue to help us with a clogged drain line flood emergency that we walked into after being away from home for a couple of days. Not only did they rapidly show up on a Holiday day, but they were affordable, professional, very polite from start to end. Everyone we spoke to was very knowledgeable. Miguel walked us through the problem, gave us our options, and even helped us with advice to prevent this in the future. I cannot recommend them enough!

    Marquis came out to do several home electrical updates and install an electric vehicle charger. Despite my houses less than ideal layout, he found a solution and got it all done as quoted. They offered a newer option to tie into my overbuilt sub-panel with a load shed system. I cant recommend SALT more if all their technicians and specialists are as diligent and professional as Marquis was.

    If I could give Garret more stars, I would! The first thing that was so impressive was the fact that he was able to work me into his schedule early. He was patient and very courteous.     My experience with Salt Electric was excellent. Their crew of Anthony, Dell and Oscar did a fantastic job.     4/4/24I am updating this review. The company was very responsive to my concerns and called me right away and scheduled a service. Johnny Ingram checked the a/c himself and he kept e posted, He also made a trip later in the afternoon to make sure everything is working.I am happy with their service.The technician who came, Lance Shaw and the manager, Johnny Ingram were friendly and professional. Lance was transparent on the issues. This was a 3-day visit/work and I am thankful for their patience. I was waiting for the system to work with no issues before I give my review. Right now, the other thermostat is not working again. I will revisit and update this review after the next visit.

    Ive had very positive experiences with Salt Air & Electric. In particular, when I had a problem with a particular light flickering off on its own, Brett from Salt came out and was able to provide a fixed-cost estimate. This is a refreshing change from the industry norm of hourly charges and offers a much more assuring customer experience. Brett was fantastic at diagnosing the problem (pierced wire caused by the original home builder) and was able to repair it in a short amount of time. I was so impressed by Bretts professionalism that I signed up for the Salt Plus service, which is a monthly subscription that offers a discount on future work.Update: Amber M did an amazing job with my HVAC check-up. She identified some trouble spots on my system which had not been noticed before.Update 10/2024: AJ did a terrific job on the hot water service!

I will update my old review.Nov 22, 2024Chris, like every Salt technician who have been to my home, called to say he was on the way and was there anything he could pick up for me. One of these times, I am going to take them on this. Anyway. I will start the review now. I have been having a problem with different temperatures in different areas of the house. Chris checked the temperature at all of the outlets. There was a small difference in the front and back of the house. He did recommend a new thermostat with a couple of sensors. They would be in the front and rear of the house. I will probably go with that, but may wait until Jan.Garret & John called as we were in the middle of breakfast. They agreed to be a little slower getting here. After they arrived, they checked everything and found that the fan was broken. They went to the warehouse to get a new one, returned and installed it.They also discovered a problem with the thermostat and fixed that.  They were both professional, friendly, and explained what was being done.Michael was a little early. He quickly realized that the maintenance had already been done, but had not been reset. He checked to be sure everything was still good and reset it.Steven & Tim showed up on time today and went right to work. Steven had already explained what they were going to do and why it should be done. They finished in a little less time than they had estimated.Steven was professional and friendly. He explained what he was suggesting and why it should be done. Enjoyed talking with him.A. J. & Logan were both professional and personable. They explained what they did and gave several options. They connected with both my wife and myself.As always, the service was quick and professional.Jeremy did a thorough check on everything. He found a couple of issues. They may not have been the issues that caused my problems, but they may have been. Whether they were what caused my problems or not, they were issues that needed to be fixed. He fixed them and explained what he was doing. As always, he was polite, professional, and friendly.The power went out yesterday and the generator did not come on. Michael was on another job, but came as soon as he could, which was about an hour. The problem was the battery. He replaced it and came back this morning to verify that it was being charged. Everything is current great.Michael came today to help me reconnect my generator & water heater to my new WIFI. We both learned something new. He did not know how to do the water heater, but he took the time and figured it out.Greg & Ethan came today. They replace a breaker that was a fire risk with two breakers, which is the way it should have been done in the first place. Both of them were professional and friendly. I enjoyed talking with them.Michael performed the semi-annual A/C tuneup. I had several questions and he not only answered them, but explained them. All of the Salt people have been friendly and professional.Anthony came out on Saturday and replaced the circuit breaker. It now appears the the problem is the water heater. We are getting a new one tomorrow.We were having problems with our water heater. Alan came out yesterday and got it running again. He recommended we have the electrical checked out. It stopped working again last night. Miller from the electrical side of the company came out this morning. He found the circuit breaker for the water heater and saw that it had been thrown. With his help, I reset the circuit breaker and the water heater is working again. Everyone from Salt who has done work for me has explained what was happening and has explained options as to what to do next.This was to replace the plenum. It ended up being more of a job than was expected, but the guys kept at it. I believe they even gave up the lunch time.
