Punbars HVAC maintenance service was systematic and thorough with a 15-page report provided of the system condition complete with detailed measurements. Recommendations were given to improve the attic environment and ventilation considering the low-rise roof and limited attic space. Their service was perfectly professional and more than satisfactory. Punbar had earlier redesigned and reinstalled the entire system in 2019 following ten years of system failures, recurring mold, and inadequate solutions from other vendors.

My visit with Ronald Amaya was very informative, I learned a lot about my system and how it should work. Ronald spent several hours evaluating my existing system and provided recommendations to improve the efficiency and overall performance of my system. After the evaluation he was able to provide me with several cost options that he felt would resolve my concerns. He was not interested in just installing a new system like the one I have, he took the time to truly analyze my situation and suggest improvements. I will have several other contractors come give me bids before I make my decision but they will have to be able to provide the same type of technical information he did to even get a chance at having my business.This was a great experience and I highly recommend PUNBAR evaluate your system before you make a decision to purchase a new system.

I have problems with one of my AC units for many years. Went through 3 ACs in 27 years. Gustavo was able to diagnose what the problem was and provided me with different service plans. He arrived super on time at each appointment. Gustavo was very patient and courteous. The whole team was professional and efficient. I had ductwork redesigned and replaced. I felt terribly bad that they worked in the attic for many hours under this heat. My AC now runs like a champ. I never know that AC could be so quiet when running. Gustavo Chirinos was the technician that came out and serviced my HVAC unit, I wanted to have my unit cleaned and also had issues with a leaking drain pain. Gustavo gave me the list of prices and services to choose from and gave me his opinion on what would best and within my budget. He was professional and had excellent communication, after the job was done he cleaned up and showed me the work he had done.

Ever since Punbar installed our entire new HVAC system and ducts 6 months ago, they have been incredible. Since the installation, they came to do a 6 month check up. I have never seen such professionalism from ANY HVAC Company. Punbar Air came out to help us diagnose a terrible air circulation problem. Every other HVAC company did simple diagnostics simply confirming the condenser and air handler were functioning. Jose from Punbar Air came out and ran tests which proved my suspicion that we had air flow problems. He then spent time designing out a real solution, and walked me through the schematic that was drawn up. His team came out and implemented the plan and it was an instant noticeable difference in air flow to all of the rooms that suffered before. Jose as a professional is really something special. He makes you feel like you are in a partnership as opposed to being at the mercy of the company. Most other companies I’ve dealt with do not come close to that experience of genuine care and due diligence. I also want to thank Ronald and Jose for taking the time to break down what the team saw during their assessment, and for being forthcoming that there could be challenges that may not be overcome. I’d also like to thank the front office for their customer care and attention. This was just such a great experience, and while not cheap they solved a problem no one else dared touch. After the initial Comfort Evaluation confirmed that my AC system was not working properly (validated through data and graphics) and that the original design of the ducting caused condensation and water dripping issues (that I knew due water stains on the ceiling and oxide marks on the equipment), they found a solution that adjusted to my budget and after a loooong day of work, they installed new ducting, added a new return, new vents and solved all the problems of the system. I felt the change the very first night, and then again it was validated through data.The team was always very respectful, professional, answered all my questions and cleaned everything after they were done. They asked me permission to work until late in the afternoon to have everything done in one day (they arrived at 7.45 am!) which we appreciated very much and allowed them to do it. I really recommend them. Is not easy to find a service provider that can validate their work from an engineering point of view, which Punbar excelled at!. Hands down the best AC Solution company around.

He spent a great deal of time inspecting our current system and advised us of our best options, with no pressure. He took care to answer all of our questions.On the day of the installation, they arrived early and, worked in a super hot attic. They redid the duct work to maximize comfort. They worked long and hard and got everything wrapped up beautifully.For those who are concerned, as we are, about the spread of COVID 19, Ronald and his crew wore masks and respected social distancing.Overall, our expectations were met and, exceeded.

I would without any hesitation strongly recommend Punbar. First, Ronald, the owner and tech for the project of replacing a thermostat was qualified, competent, and exceptionally knowledgeable on the operation, maintenance and HAVAC components. He provided guidance and explanations on the operation, utilization, and energy saving tips. Additionally, it is note worthy that upon arrival we were involved in assembling from scratch a cabinet with hinges, parts, etc. and he took the time to assist in the assembling. In summary, Punbar is a company that one can trust, certified, and one that should be a go to firm for HVAC, electrical, and like requirements.

Marco arrived on time and did a very thorough AC System check up and maintenance. He was very professional and punctual. The cost was $229 which is a value when you consider the thoroughness of their work. He measured and found that my capacitor was below spec and recommended a new one. No pressure from him but I decided to replace it since the capacitor was fairly old. The capacitor replacement cost another $185. A couple days later I received the report on my AC through email from Punbar. No HVAC company I have ever worked with provided me an inspection report listing what was inspected, with all the numbers from static pressure to capacitor specs to cooling range. Most companies, if your lucky, jot a few illegible words on an invoice or say a few words about what they did, then move on. Punbar continues to impress me with there thoroughness and professionalism.

EXCELLENT! They were doing a simple checkup on my AC. They said everything looked good, the system was in good shape. While they were here, I asked them for a quote for a mini-split system. They took the effort to ask more questions to find out what the real problem was. The mini-split was about $3,500 + the cost of any electrical work. He was convinced the system was sized properly, but that the duct work needed to be updated (house was built in 64). This was less than $900. They COMMUNICATE VERY WELL throughout the process, and saved me a lot of money, and now it is much more comfortable than it was at night.
