Doug is the absolute greatest gem we’ve found in an HVAC technician, as renters our landlord sent out Malek for our routine maintenance. while he was here he tested our furnace to ensure it was ready for winter and gave me his contact information in case I needed help in the future. Well today my house was 58 degrees, and the heater wasn’t working. I reached out to Doug for troubleshooting, it was a quick fix of the breaker (I’m just a girl okay?) and saved me so much time and a headache of having to go through the property managers to get Malek out here to warm up my children, and sick aunt.I will forever recommend Malek to my friends looking for HVAC needs, just for the personable, caring interaction I had with Doug!

I live in a 100-yr home that has needed a lot of upgrades over the years. I’ve worked with at least 5 different companies over the years, never finding one on which I could consistently rely. Until now. Tristen is by far the most trustworthy plumber I’ve ever had. He wants to find the solution - not trying to overcharge or go beyond the scope of work required. I would recommend him to my family and friends in a heart beat. Genuinely passionate about his craft and very efficient.

Amazing company to work with. Showed great professionalism, integrity, and customer service. Everyone I spoke with was knowledgeable and helpful. Technician went above and beyond for us to make sure that we were taken care of. We use them for plumbing as well as HVAC. They arent the cheapest out there, but you absolutely get what you pay for. If you want good service, this is the place to go!

We’ve wanted to repipe our 1960’s home in recent years but knew it’s a huge expense and disruption of our home. We finally decided to it after Russell came to our home for an inspection of the new water heater Malek had installed back in April. Russell thoroughly explained the repiping process. Russell was very detailed, insisted on the quality of the job, and made sure it was to our satisfaction. We’re impressed with Ryan and his crew that did the install. We were able to contact Russell anytime with questions or concerns. Malek is not cheap, nor the most expensive but they stand behind the quality of their work. Everyone we spoke to or encountered were professional and always asked if we had any questions or concerns. We highly recommend Malek Services.

After Hurricane Beryl blew through, my whole hous generator quit working. I called 6 or 7 companies, including the one that did my install a fee years back. The ONLY company that answered the phone was Malek. They set me a date for service and did not waver from the date. Tech came out today and did several tests and a part needs to be ordered. It will take a week or so to get the part, I will reevaluate once repair is complete, but if it goes as I expect everything will be good.

They do know when youre in dire need and will help so much faster than any other A/C company Ive ever dealt with before. Their customer service is awesome (Amy is absolutely a pleasure to talk to). Our favorite technician, hands down, is Travis! He has great knowledge about the equipment and is able to explain the workings to us in a non so technical way. Malek Services was very easy to work with. I made 1 call, they took my information and Drake called me back within an hour. We reviewed my Generac generator information I sent him pictures of what I needed and Drake sent me an estimate in 15 minutes at a good rate and installed in a week. All other companies I called told me it would be 4 to 6 weeks for an estimate and installation. The ones that gave me a ballpark price were a lot higher. I am looking forward having them install my generator

I have had a service plan with Malek for more than 3 years. You choose the service date and time, the company informs you arrival time and a picture of the technician. The technicians have always been knowledgeable and open for questions. They do recommend additional services but are never pushy. The one time I had an emergency service call (AC went out in August) they made it out the same day. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this company.

In doing so I made the leak worse by removing the old soldering seal.Blake arrived on time, reviewed the problem, gave me a quote and offered two spigot solutions. I thought it was nice to be given the options. Once decided he quickly and professionally replaced the spigot and tested for leaks. I am happy with the outcome and fair price for a job well done.

He gave me reasonably priced options for repairs, and promptly started working on replacing the hose bibbs at my request. He showed me that the problem was resolved, reinstalled the manifolds and tested the installation. No more leaks. PP responded to my call immediately and put me in the queue for one of the technicians to get back, which he did within 20 mins. we agreed on a plan and Blake turned up the next morning at appointed time, we discussed the problem, reviewed the situation and agreed on a plan forward. He produced a cost sheet with the alternatives for my agreement before proceeding. The job was slightly more complicated due to location of the blockage, but once the problem was isolated, the repair was carried out and the work was tidied up, no mess and a pleasant informative process. The cost was higher than I would have anticipated, but no more than the agreed amount at the beginning..

They always arrive when they say they will, come prepared to complete the job and provide friendly service. The ground was very wet, muddy making it very difficult to locate with the clay sticking to the tools. They ended up finding it after calling their Master Plumber. The repair was done very professionally. I am very happy with their services and would hire them again.

I had a hot water leak in my foundation. The two techs, Brandon and Jordan were very professional and friendly. They were very thorough in their explanation of what was wrong and what they could do to fix it. The process was quick as well. While installing the water line the light cover over my sink fell and broke and they were quick on getting it fixed.The only issue is that I never received a receipt for my work.

Not sure if theres such thing as a Minor plumbing problem. If so, my most recent wasnt one of those. It started as a blocked lavatory drain line, and became an emergency when it shut down my home AC system in 100 degree Houston weather. As a member of Picketts VIP program, I was relieved that they responded quickly, and I was impressed with how thorough Blake and Phillip were in identifying, tackling and resolving the problem. On the customer service side, I appreciated Selenias help in arranging the after hours call. Pickett Plumbing has been my go-to source for plumbing-related matters for several years now, ranging from major to minor issues. Noticed that my pilot was out on old water heater. Got new thermocouple from hardware store. Pilot then lit, but still wouldnt ignite burner. Called many plumbers and did lots of price shopping. Called Pickett and their price, for full water heater installed, was half the price of their competitors. We also had rusted pipe elbows, and pipe nipples that needed replacing. Mark was professional, wise, and is a Jedi-plumber. He drained the old water heater, fixed the piping behind it, put in a new gas line, and installed the new, Bradford & White, water heater. Out last Bradford & White lasted fifteen years. Thank You, Mark, and Pickett Plumbing!
