I wanted to get the bathroom fan repaired or replaced. Jack arrived and showed me the existing fan and I could understand why it wasnt working. Jack showed me several replacements and we chose the best one to use in my bathroom. Jack removed to old fan mounting and made the hole to fit the new fan. It took a day and a half. The fan runs great and Jack did such a beautiful job on the installation. He made the bathroom look like no construction had occurred. He kept me advised on all the steps from start to finish. This is the second time Ive used this service and I plan to always consider them for future jobs.

We needed the metal screening replaced at the open end of our ground-level deck, to keep the critters out. Kevin came and removed the old, decaying screening and replaced it with sturdy, galvanized, stainless steel mesh screening. We couldnt happier with his work. Clark did a great job under difficult circumstances. He was removing popcorn ceiling, removing wallpaper and painting in a very small bathroom. He worked for 3 days in 90+ degree heat with no a/c all with a smile. I would be happy to have him back to do more jobs in the future

We had Kevin here to price and fix a broken window and two faucets. I thought the price was reasonable at about $650 for the three jobs. He not only replaced our glass but he also fixed an ongoing problem we had with closing the window completely. It was the outside pain of a two pane window and he brought it to the people who put in the new glass and then fill in the Argon gas. The window now works perfectly as it should have 8 years ago when it was installed and even after that when it was serviced. Faucets work well and the job was done quickly and perfectly. We bought the faucets. They provided the labor. We really enjoyed having him here, too. Hes got a great personality and pricing is fair and honest. We will ask for him again with future projects.

We needed some grab bars installed in a shower for my visiting 94-year-old mother-in-law. We have recently moved to Hanover and got lucky when we picked Handyman Connection to do the work. Dan Edwards carefully selected the right man to do the job and sent Jesse because he had lots of experience installing grab bars in tile. Jesse patiently worked through numerous drill bits until he found the right one for our tile then made sure that everything was secure and sturdy.I will certainly be calling Handyman Connection again very soon and requesting Jesse since he can fix anything.

Highly recommend Handyman Connection in Hanover. My overall experience with the each person I came into contact with was very nice! Jim was the best! I had many odd jobs throughout the house from recessed lighting installation to door reframing. I also had an 800 sq ft drop ceiling replaced and a few other things done. Jim is clearly multi-talented because he was able to get everything done in good time without any issues whatsoever. Also, my dog loves him which is a huge plus because she has massive anxiety and he was so nice to her! Hands down the easiest house project transaction/experience of the year.

I needed a dishwasher installed (not replaced) within an existing cabinet space which required electrical and plumbing work and had been having a hard time finding someone who would do both. Jim quoted a fair price and even deducted a few dollars at the end when the materials cost was overestimated because the dishwasher came with a kit. He was friendly, professional, provided details on his demo/install plans, and even taught me a couple things which is always nice as a homeowner! We need a lot of home improvements done and Im excited to hire Handyman Connection again because they were so easy to deal with and hassle free from start to finish.

Grellan came out to my property and, on one of the coldest days of the year, creatively navigated the new pipes and created a wall. The project took many hours but he remained focused, careful and left minimal cleanup. The cost for the repair was very reasonable and I cannot tell you how much I appreciated his skill. Bryan did a tremendous job repairing some ceramic tile in my kitchen. Previous owner was a DIYer and failed to properly install the tile so Im dealing with a bunch of cracking. Bryan reinstalled the tile along one of the seams and solved the cracking issue! Very professional experience and the price was very affordable for the work that was done. Will definitely call Handyman Connection again for any tough jobs in the future!

I had a wonderful experience working with Handyman Connection. Farah is awesome. She is extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. She installed kitchen sink and faucet for me then came back the next week and installed 2 bathroom faucets, in addition to installing hinges on a fuse box door in the basement in which she took the time to get for me since I had purchased the wrong ones. We ordered a 12x12 gazebo which arrived on a pallet with many pieces that needed to be put together, raised and bolted onto our wooden deck. For several months, we tried unsuccessfully to hire someone to build the gazebo so it was a pleasant surprise when Handyman Connection sent Bob over to assess the job and quickly confirmed he could get it done quickly.The project was completed much faster than anticipated, and it was not an issue when we asked for a last minute change. The estimates we got were very reasonable and the work was excellent.Andre did painting for us and I could not be more thrilled with his work. I am loving how it looks. He was also very communicative and personable, would have him back any time. He did our entire living room and our stairs surrounding walls & ceiling, as well as a few other minor things. Big thumbs up on him.Before Andre we had Tim out. He repaired some facia on our siding that had been torn in a storm resulting in some leakage. He replaced ceiling tiles for us as well as finishing ceiling tiles in a front room. He even noticed an old cable wire that had been hanging and fixed that also. I was very pleased with the work of Jesse who installed soffits in my roofto alleviate heat in the attic, which had put pressure on 2nd floorcomfort, air conditioning and roof tiles. He also found out that the attic fan was set at 70 degrees instead of 90 or 110. So the fan had beenrunning almost continuously. He adjusted it and oiled it in addition to the soffit installation. We agreed a misunderstanding existed. He has agreed to proceed and honor all original work. Dan was understanding of my issues, courteous, and professional in his response and actions. Laura and staff also promptly contacted me to schedule work and avail themselves to any questions or concerns I may have to proceed.7/7/20Was looking to have my deck sanded and stained, straight ahead job. Had an agreed scope of work with Handyman Connection of South Shore and bid price. Worker started with “hand sander” and shortly realized this is the wrong tool required for a 27’ x 10’ space. He asked me if I would consider a solid stain, which would help shorten job time. We had agreed to a semitransparent stain, which was on original bid. I had recommended large sander, which I used years before with great results. Even mentioned this when first appraising job. He agreed, called local rental vendor, and went to pick up. Upon his return, he presented a new scope of work at DOUBLE THE PRICE. The deck sander was $70 per day (called myself) plus paper. Using this tool was a time saver. He was prepared to use hand sander for 2-3 days.I was excited to have work done and enjoy clean deck for the summer. But extremely poor planning and unnecessary price gauging now resulted in no work performed, thru no fault of mine. Only thing said or offered was “sorry”. Very disingenuous and not professional!!
