    Ground Zero did an excellent job, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for AC service!I had a terrible experience with my previous AC company and had lost all confidence in them after my new AC unit stopped working a little over a year after install. I call Ground Zero, and they were able to diagnose the issue almost immediately. Bryan Dela Cruz was the technician assigned to my project - he provided great customer service and I had complete confidence in his knowledge and ability to correct the issue!

    Brad, a plumber with Ground Zero Plumbing & AC, out of Gilbert, AZ, was out at my home this past Friday, 08Mar2024 to install a replacement kitchen sink, faucet, and under-sink garbage disposal unit.Brad arrived at around 8:15 a.m. (we had a window of 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.). He was courteous, friendly, professional, thorough, and made sure our kitchen sink replacement was done right and to my wifes and my satisfaction.We provided the replacement sink, faucet, and garbage disposal unit, which we had purchased at Home Depot the evening before.Once the replacement was completed, as Brad was testing everything, he detected a leak in the upper manifold of our new replacement garbage disposal unit, a Moen (with a factory defect). Brad removed the defective new Moen unit, and reinstalled our old original 12-year-old InSinkErator Badger 500. He then cleaned up the entire work area very nicely, removing and disposing of our old sink and faucet. Brad offered to remove the new packaging materials, but I declined his courteous offer.The service Brad provided was top notch, even if it did take the whole day.There was only one aspect of this job that my wife and I were not pleased with. We were shocked at Ground Zero Plumbings high price for this replacement service... $1,172!!!We were expecting $500 to $750 maximum.Bidenflation?!?We went along with this high price only because we needed the service to be completed right away, and Home Depots vendor couldnt do it until four business days out at the earliest.

    Just wanted to take out my day to write this 5 star review about Dave Barney the plumber that helped me and my Gf out today. He was very personable, found our leak immediately. He was very about his business and finishing the task at hand. He even cleaned up some of the drywall/ leak off for us (which he didn’t have to do)! I would definitely re hire him for the job.     My ground zero hero is Henry. I had asked my complex many times to come fix the drippy faucet in my shower over the course of a year. Henry came in, asked where the water heater is located, turned off the water in the entire apartment. Within a couple of hours he advised he was done. So shortly after he left, I got up and took a shower. After turning off water, I dried off and before leaving, one thing I did not hear; the drippy faucet!Thank you Henry!!!

    Coming home after work finding my AC not working, I called 3 companies and Ground Zero was the only one able to help me that same evening. Cory got my AC cooling temporarily until they could replaced it. Derek came out early the next morning to get me estimates. Jake and Jonothan replaced the AC my next available day off work and Jeff checked all my plumbing and drained my water heater for me. They all were professional and kind during this stressful time.I work in property management so I have a lot of connections with AC Companies; I had two companies take a look at the estimates before moving forward and they both said the price was more than fair and they couldnt do any better for me.     This summers raging heat with over 50 days over 110 F was too much for our old system and it finally blew. Angies List rated Ground Zero as one of their best HVAC companies in Phoenix Metro. I chose 3 HVAC companies from Angies List and not only was Ground Zero the only one to contact with me with a quote that day, they did it within an hour maybe. Brian sent me some quotes and then their dispatch called me to set up a meeting. Nathan came out to the house, he was extremely professional, easy to talk to and I felt he was completely genuine, he wasnt trying to upsell me or push me in a direction I did not want to go. I was skeptical because we had just had a very bad experience with George Brazil, whom I suspect helped frying my older unit in hopes of getting me to purchase a new system, My home is an older Arcadia home and this proved to be a bit of a challenge due to the limited space of my furnace closet, but Nathan was frank and explained what needed to be done and gave me a quote of $6600 for a new Trane system. The house was over 100 F inside and Nathan had the forethought to bring us an evaporator cooler, this helped my family and pets tremendously as we waited for the new system installation. Nathan made us feel that he honestly wanted to take care of us. Also, with Ground Zero adhering to the CDC guidelines and wearing masks, one loses a large part of facial expression, but I could see in the eyes of Nathan and the other gents that they were genuinely good people. Great Job Nathan, you are an asset to Ground Zero. A couple of days later, Sam S and Cody came for the installation. These two young men were again very professional and they worked hard in the sweltering heat. My house brought a few obstacles, Sam S told me he always measures everything twice and I appreciated that being an engineer myself. Every obstacle they faced, I was impressed by their solution minded approach to try to finish the project that day. I over-heard Sam S speaking with another tech about how he could possibly configure the pvc piping around the furnace area, very solution oriented. Sam S has a great attitude and work ethic. Thanks Sam for your integrity, great job! Cody you did a great job too. I signed up for the Heros Club maintenance plan and look forward to my future interactions with Ground Zero. I work for The Phoenician Resort where customer service is paramount, the whole team from Ground Zero absolutely exceeded my expectations.

    Ground Zero, as like many of the reviews here say, performed a phenomenal job today (12/21/18). I cannot thank Brian, Tyler and Kyle for all the hard work and the level of attention to detail was unmatched from what I have experienced from other local competition.Brian arrived on time, had all available options and kept things honest. I had contractors from other companies come over after all the research I had previously conducted on my own and only 2 out of 7 interviewed really knew what a Variable speed 18 SEER HVAC system meant and its associated benefits. My wife and I did a lot of work and this was not a cheap item to buy, but we plan to be around in the home for the long-term, and Brian was able to discuss all the things that are needed for that entire re-install.Why the Trane Variable Speed (XV18) 18 SEER unit? Cost savings in the dead of summer, ease of troubleshooting, 700 speeds and how quiet it runs near by (55dB), our math with a warranty shows we will save at a bare minimum of $247 dollars a month, from an old, POS Goodman 10s unit that was never addressed before we purchased this home. Our entire home system has been redone.The new furnace (XC80), the re-routing of all pertinent duct-work upstairs, Plenum expansion; Tyler and Kyle did quite the job and work that exceeded my expectations. Very well done, clean. They vacuumed up a load of old dryer lint that was originally designed to dump freely in the attic (Not my design!), re-routed all existing duct work the way it needed. Im paying a lot of money here, they knew it, and made this system fit and work appropriately for my home, and my home only. This is not some standard Lowes design or Joe AC 2.3 miles away from your location on Google. I paid a little bit more and got exactly what I asked for. Win.Thank you all for leaving my home without a trace. You all now have my next job installing a tankless hot water-heater and home water softener. GZ gets the next job, for sure.Thanks GZ, you all should feel our home right now. This HVAC system and install job is money.P.S. - Edited to update: 12/28/18We also just had Brian and team arrive to install the tank-less water heater system and also the entire home water softener too. What a great job. Pipes fitted to a custom design specification, our home is working more efficient and better than ever and we cannot thank GZ once again for doing the job right.Out of all my reviews, I am well aware my wife and I choose more high-end equipment only because we know what matters in regards to long-term reliability and peace of mind. It is good to know, that my thousands and thousand of dollars go to this company . I would have picked no one else. Just look at the pics, and choose Ground Zero.     This is about worker named Tony who was contacted by management at the complex where I live. To fix two pipes that were cracked in our bathroom ceiling. He was amazing. His personality, work ethic, performance, and job he did. He even cleaned up the entire bathroom after he was done and it was a total mess from cutting out ceiling and removing discussing piping. I suggest that everyone ask to have Tony to come do your plumbing work. He works out of the Gilbert Company. (I hope Im correct)Thank you again Tony. You definitely impressed me and my roommate.     I had to replace my water heater as the tank developed a huge leak. I had been planning to replace it with a tankless heater. Online research lead me to choose a Rinnai tankless water heater and I found Ground Zero Plumbing & AC through the Rinnai website. They came out the same day and took a look at the situation. Within a couple hours they sent me estimates for installing the Rinnai heater as well as another brand. I stuck with the Rinnai. Replacing a tank water heater with a tankless one is a big job. Two techs came the next day and installed the new water heater over the next 6 hours or so. They were friendly and courteous and obviously knew what they were doing. The installation looks beautiful and the water heater works great!They also gave me a bit of helpful information. I have always stored bottles of pool acid in the room with my water heater. They suggested that acid fumes may have contributed to the early failure of my old water heater. Good to know.

    Our tech James was a lighthouse in a foggy night for us. He is the only positive interaction that weve had out of many of the supposed professionals weve had to deal with since our apartment was flooded by a bad roof drain. The man knew when to crack a joke to help lift our spirits, was incredibly understanding of us needing to make sure our birds were safe with the chemicals being used, and was both amazingly sweet and incredibly efficient with his work. Hes a great representative of a great company when most contractors nowadays just want to collect maximum pay for minimum effort.6/5 I cant recommend this company highly enough.

    Google has verified Ground Zero Plumbing & their work so that Google will pay for it if it is not repaired correctly!I called Ground Zero Plumbing at about 3am & Katie answered very quickly! I told her that I had found the lower bathroom flooded from water leaking through the ceiling, vent & down walls. She said that she would dispatch a plumber right away! I received a text with my technicians info, including a picture & bio so I knew who to expect. I was very impressed by Ground Zero Plumbing immediately!Mike B., the plumbing supervisor was sent out & was phenomenal! He found the problem quickly & repaired it. He was only here for an hour & 15 minutes, but in that time I found him friendly, dedicated & having excellent customer service! If you call ask for him because of the above reasons.     I had a yard full of sewage in my apartment complex in Mesa AZ and many other plumbers couldn’t find the issue after snaking it.     When my kitchen sink pipes decided it was a good day to stop working, I called Ground Zero and it felt like they were there in an instant.Henry and Peter showed up, greeted myself and my husband with insane kindness and empathy and got right to work. They explained each and every step of the process to us and even when they found that the damage was a lot more than we expected, they walked us through it, were extreme thorough in making sure we knew what our options were and even insisted on cleaning up after themselves.Henry and Peter are the perfect team and I cant thank them enough for resolving our kitchen issue and getting us signed up for the Hero Club, that is going to be a life (and money) saver for us!     Last weekend was a nightmare but HUNTER saved the day, he really did. Last weekend I had a minor clog I had called someone else before calling ground zero only bc of the timing. Anyways, in short the first person didn’t have expertise and then we called ground zero. Hunter from the minute he walked into the door he was full of confidence, knowledgeable, charisma and made sure we were understanding what was going on with the toilet. He really made this experience as smooth as possible. He really has everything you want in an employee. Ground Zero make sure Hunter is taken care of, he has exceptional customer service and knowledge in his field. Thank you for everything. We even got the membership and we feel hopeful for the future if we ever need you guys we know you will take care of us! Highly recommend 😊!

    I called to inquire about getting a water heater replaced and a water softener installed. Fred came out right away and took a look for me at no charge and gave some great recommendations to plumb for the softener. He followed up with a written quote while I thought about it. I checked another place or two and found the quote was a good price.I scheduled and they were very quick and accommodating. Stan and Mike came out and completed the job quickly, much faster than expected! They were very thorough and went above and beyond to hide and insulate my plumbing. A+! Im very happy with the results. They buried the pipes and installed a new valve for me as well. Thanks guys!

    Rosario and Carlos worked on my apartment today and they were very nice and respectful. Rosario helped with educating me on filters and the new thermostat system. There was a complete replacement of my air compressor and they were lovely. There was a slight electrical issue that was out of their wheelhouse but they very quickly got in touch with who could come after the compressor replacement. Very respectful and informative. Id recommend them to anyone looking for service.Edit: For the Electrical issue, Ryan and Ryan (funny enough) Came out to help rewire the system very quickly and we have cold air again!

Water and other unwanted things began filling my kitchen basin (from the drain!). This issue occurred multiple times within a few days and I was worried my sink would flood with no warning.^ Issue: RESOLVED !Positive Notes for Service Call:Hunter left an extremely positive impression! He arrived at the exact time he had suggested for his ETA, very efficient. Prior to Hunter’s visit, I had many concerns regarding the drainage issue. Hunter answered every question I had (which was many) and explained everything to me in DETAIL, which I very much appreciated! He was also very patient and understanding, which eased my mind, considering my kitchen could have potentially flooded at any time! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company.     We started using ground zero a few month’s ago and they have been nothing but professional and attentive. Today we had Cody service us and he was 100% honest and transparent. I interacted with a bunch of their employees during the process of getting my new AC unit installed, all of which seemed knowledgeable and friendly, including the people who made my appointments over the phone.Junior sold me the unit. He was extremely knowledgeable and was able to explain the process and how everything worked in a way that was clear and helpful. Cesar and his crew came to do the install and some additional plumbing work. All of them were hard-working and good-spirited even with my attic being extremely small and difficult to work with. Since it was such a tight space, they had to remove the trim around my attic entrance, and Phil came to fix it. He was quick and the whole area looks great. Brad and Dean came out to do a quality check after everything was finished. They were friendly and kind, and Ive had no problems so far. Every one of them was nice, professional, and cleaned up as they went, which I really appreciated.Although the true test will be summertime, the new unit is working nicely and seems much quieter and more efficient than my previous one. Additionally, they were happy to walk me through the Nest install. I’m highly satisfied with the work they completed. He was friendly and professional and offered several options to get us back up and running. Knowing we were going to without an AC system for part of our house, he offered to bring back portable units to get us by. In the end, Eric helped us identify that the builder who installed the original system used units that were too small, making our decision to replace much easier.     Chet was amazing!!! I loved how I called on a Saturday night on a holiday weekend, and he was out first thing Sunday morning. They gave a window of 8-10am and we received a text message with his name, details about him, and that he was on his way. Best part was the text had a picture, so I knew when he showed up that he was who was supposed to be at our house. He came in with a mask, gloves, and shoe coverings on. Went upstairs with my husband and reviewed the issue, gave us an overview and then recommended the program they have on file.     Matt & Cam were prompt, got the job done and took the time to explain every detail of our new water softener. They set up our warranties and even gave us a second bag of salt to get us started. We couldn’t be happier with Ground Zero. We’ve been using their services since we moved to AZ in 2016. Whether it’s a broken AC unit in August, a dead handler motor a day before a holiday ... they always take great care of us. Thanks to Dave (service manager) too!

    Mike B and Scott came to my daughters house to install a new bathtub and shower, plus some other plumbing. They were absolutely fantastic. Took such care to make sure everything was quiet by keeping the bathroom door closed, putting down plastic on the floors to avoid scratches and were so friendly!! The end result was beautiful and total difference. I know when she gets home she will be so pleased. Again, I highly recommend them and Ground Zero Plumbing.     Yes, I live in an apartment. But the quality of work by Jeremy and his partner was hands down the best I have seen. They replaced both the inside unit and the roof until. In 2 units in less than 3 hours. They clean everything up and made sure everything was sealed properly. Thank you so much for your excellent work.

    Ground Zero Air Conditioning has been reliable and responsive. They answer 24/7 and are willing to come out and mark sure you and your family are comfortable in your home. Brad did an excellent job, He was respectfull and kind.He was informative and helped me understand what the issue was, He was thorough and checked to make sure everything was running well before he left. With this heat having AC issue in the summer is very stressful.They are professional and prompt which takes some of the stress out of a hard situtaion.

    Frank and Sean did a first class job restoring my air conditioning unit. They were very professional and Frank walked me through the repair as it was being done. What was also exceptional was watching Frank and Sean work as a team. They communicated seamlessly with each other the whole after noon and the clean up was as if they had never been there.     These guys did an amazing job from the time I put in a quote to complete deployment and delivery . I wanted to replace three toilets with Toto drakes and Devin on service helped me select , priced toilets , put them on will call and got them on schedule same day. Mike and Mike the techs that installed arrived on time , did amazing work , answered all my questions and got all three toilets installed working. Ground zero was the lowest price of my ten quotes and I will certainly use them again for a plumbing problem.

    Sean and Mason came in to install new A/C unit in my apartment building. They worked quickly and diligently and were an all around pleasure to work with. Sean was very friendly and personable and made the whole experience hassle-free, considering I was working from home during the time. Highly recommend to anyone needing HVAC services!
