    Aaron was able to be available to come address a leaking service line very quickly and moved jobs around to get our issue fixed same-day. He was professional and respectful, and his crew worked quick to make the repairs. The price was fair and he recommended an add on that will make things easier later on. I feel comfortable with the work that was done and will definitely recommend and use them again.

    I highly recommend Second Opinion Plumbing. They were less than half the price of my previous estimate. Chris showed up right on time and gave me an estimate. After 1 more estimate, I called back and Chris was back about an hour later to do the work. He then explained what he would do and how long it would take. When he finished, he showed me what he did, explained the warranty, and made sure I didnt have any questions, and that I was satisfied with his work. Choose this local family owned business. You wont be disappointed.

    I had a very bad root problem that had come through the sewer pipe to the base of my toilet. Second Opinion Plumbing came out to solve the clog and discovered the cause. Their quote for repair was $1,000 less than a popular national competitor and their technical approach was far superior (they also even gave me a credit for the initial visit.) They were able to access the pipe through a bedroom closet and conduct the repair, greatly reducing the total cost of the project compared to the competitor who wanted to break some bathroom tiles to access the pipe. Finally, they had a tree root preventative treatment that was better than what the national competitor proposed (I researched it when comparing quotes.)Aaron, Jessie and Fernando were extremely professional, hardworking and polite. They showed up on time and completed the job by 3PM the same day! I highly, highly recommend Second Opinion Plumbing. They are my go-to plumber from now on, I won’t mess around with others.

    In a nutshell, if you want honest, professional and efficient plumbing, Second Opinion should be your First Choice.I had a leak where the main water supply connected to the irrigation system. I temporarily shut off the valve providing water supply to that system. I saw that Second Opinion had great reviews on Yelp and gave them a call.To my surprise they were able to send out a person right away. Christopher Cartem I believe was the name of the technician. He was friendly, professional, and was able to quickly diagnose the problem. He was very upfront with the nature of the problem and the expected cost. He also provided me with some suggestions that would enable the repair at significantly lower cost without requiring plumbing services.This took me completely by surprise. He was helping me out and losing some business in the process. I think he and his company understand that if you take care of the customer first, they will come back to you.In the event that I have any further plumbing needs, I will definitely use Second Opinion without hesitation. They are honest and fair and upfront about their services and pricing. I have used some of the larger plumbing firms in the past and have had a poor experience with them.Christopher was great and Second Opinion is lucky to have him. If he is representative of the whole company then it is one of the best companies in any field. Ive had the pleasure to encounter in 20 years in Arizona.

    Had a leak outside by the hose bib and had a guy named Chris Cartem come and fix it. He made me feel at ease and explained everything carefully. The price was fair and the work was done well. I love the fact that the initial Inspection was free and I will be using this company in the future and recommend that you do the same.

    I have used Second Opinion Plumbing twice before. Great experiences on both times. This week the connector on my solar water heater was leaking. I called Second Opinion. The lady who answered the call was so friendly and was able to schedule me to check the leak this morning. Charles came out and he noticed an O-ring was missing in the connector to cause the leak. He just put one in and didnt charge me for the part and for coming out. He also gave me a quote on some new energy saving water heater option in case I need a new one in the future. I highly recommend them!

    We had a back pressure issue (Due to a landscaper running our irrigation off a house bib line running out of the house). New/different landscaper who was fixing other issues recommended Joe Bushnell. Joe came out, came up with the solution, and gave us a quote (on a Monday). We scheduled the repair for that Thursday. Joe was professional and personable on both visits. Work was solid - he ted off the main line before the shut off going into the house for the irrigation line; and returned the out line to a hose bib, Communication was great all the way around including emails and texts - quote, apt information, etc. I would happily use Joe and Second Opinion Plumbing in the future.

    I called on June 28,2024 to inquire about a new water heater. I expected to wait several days as my current water heater was still working. They scheduled me for that day between 1:00 - 12:00. Chris, from Second Opinion called within 5 minutes! He would be here by 10:00!He arrived, answered ALL my questions. I made my decision and he left to go pick up the new water heater. He came back and installed it. Chris is very knowledgeable, personable, helpful, and efficient! I will recommend this company (and Chris) to all my family and friends!Great customer service from start to finish!

    I could not be happier with my service from Second Opinion. I had a bit of an emergency since an irrigation valve broke in my front yard. I rent part of the property out so it was imperative that I get it resolved immediately to get my water back on.Their plumbing tech Charles was fantastic. They were booked out but he squeezed me in same day since it was an emergency. He looked it over and since he had the parts available and was able to to dig it up, cut out, and cap the pipe in about 30 min, he did it at no charge likely saving me hundreds of dollars.That service and honesty means a lot and Second Opinion will be my first call when I need any and all projects done in the future! I cant really share the work since the valve was removed and the cap burried, but Im really happy with everything!

    I was quite surprised at the cost of the water softener. I didn’t get a clear amount of the cost. The installer was very pleasant but was not clear regarding the cost. I am a widow, senior citizen living on a fixed income. The price I paid was over a thousand dollars than other quotes.

    I just wanted to post a follow up review. For context we had a very large job done by Second Opinion Plumbing back at the end of 2021.Here we are three years later and they stand by their work and do what is right. I love that, and just wanted to say if you are considering using this company they are very reliable and hold true to their warranties and work.We had Charles Harvey come out this go round and he was extremely knowledgeable, flexible and friendly.If your considering any size of project, this company is worth your while.

    Amazing on all levels! If I could give them 10 stars, I would! I contacted Second Opinion Plumbing on Sunday, May 12th (Mothers Day just before 8am), needing to get a second opinion (no pun intended]. Our main water line was punctured on Saturday with a shovel, we had a company come out and they attempted to repair the line and told us, because the line is so damaged we needed to replace our entire line up to our house (and change to a different type of piping), and quoted us $4K). Our home is only 4 years old! It didnt sit right, so I called Second Opinion Plumbing.I spoke with Cassandra, explained our situation, she heard my stress and concern and said let me reach out to one of my technicians and give you a call right back, and she called me back within minutes to let me know a technician would be at our home within 20-30 minutes!Charles arrived, we explained the situation, he immediately identified an error of the first company (the one that said our entire line needed to be replaced). Charles explained he needed to go take care of a job that he was already headed to and assured us he could take care of it. He returned about 2 - 2 1/2 hours later and communicated to us throughout the process. We did need to replace 6 1/2 feet of our main line due to pre-construction damage that was found, but it was a lot less than the previous company and the work was clean! Charles was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, kind, just absolutely amazing! I would highly recommend this company! They will be the only company we use for any plumbing needs!Thank you so much Cassandra and Charles for your outstanding customer service!

    My kitchen faucet broke and I could not get it to turn off. I called 10 different plumbers in the Mesa/Gilbert area, and Second Opinion Plumbing is the ONLY one that answered. They were able to get a plumbing technician out to get the faucet to stop running. The faucet did need replaced because the internal components broke and the screw was cold welded in the faucet. Charles had to literally saw the old faucet off to remove it. He was very professional, replaced our kitchen faucet quickly, and did a great job. I recommend this plumbing company over any other in the Mesa/Gilbert area because they answered the phone, fixed the problem, and I have yet to hear back from the other 9 plumbers that I called.

    Second Opinion Plumbing is the best!!! We had an emergency failure of our water softener which resulted in resin beads infiltrating our water lines. Joe Bushnell came out within 30 minutes of our initial phone call and quickly identified the problem. He talked us through the entire repair and fixed everything promptly. Thanks to Joe, we had clean water back in under 24 hours. Highly recommend this company.

    I needed help with changing out a brass fitting since I was replacing a water softener. Charles gave me information on how to attach it and even cut and cleaned a pipe up for me.He ended up not charging me and instead, gave me really detailed advice/step-by-step instruction on how to complete the installation process.We have used them before for some toilet work and I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone!

    We’ve called these guys several times and it has always been a good experience. This time we had water pooling on the side of our house with nothing I could tell that was leaking. I was right next to our side fence, so I was hoping it was our next door neighbors. I was worried enough though that it was a line under our house that I thought I’d better call Second Opinion. Charles came out and looked at several things and determined that the neighbors had left their hose on and it was dripping next to the fence and pooling up on our side. We were able to get the neighbors to shut their hose off and Second Opinion didn’t charge us. Every time I call these guys it’s a positive experience and I don’t even need to search for a plumber whenever I have a problem. I just call them right away.

    I had a real problem with mi Kitchen faucet and sink. Wanted to use a Gilbert AZ local family owned plumbing company so called Second Opinion Plumbing. They were easy to reach and schedule a service call. They texted and called me 30 minutes or so before the plumber showed up - as they said they would. Chris showed up on time and was the absolute most friendly, happy, and pleasant service technician I have ever show up to my house - so much so I felt like we had been friends for years and I just wanted to hang out with him and share a couple of beers. Aside from being so pleasant, Chris was extremely knowledgeable and skilled about my plumbing issues. He was able to fix the problem very quickly and easily and with the least interruption to my day and my kitchen. I will definitely be using Second Opinion Plumbing for all my plumbing needs in the future !!!

    My house had a slab leak start pushing water into carpet nearby. Before Second Opinion came out, I had another plumber check it the day prior. The other companys first action was to disappear for an hour to wait for their partnered construction company to come out and try to sign me up for all sorts of rework with vague promises of what insurance was going to cover before a claim had even started.Jessie from Second Opinion, on the other hand, focused on the issue at hand, gave a simple and much cheaper solution (rerouting the line through the attic vs. breaking the slab open to fix a small portion of a likely decaying line). He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and direct. There were no surprises because he was honest, and I never felt like I was being pressured or misled into something I didnt need. Id highly recommend his work.

    Kyle M. did a fantastic job diagnosing my leak in short order. There was a drain line leaking under kitchen sink that was pooling up on the floor about a foot from the cabinet. He arrived 10 minutes early and then waited in his truck patiently until I let him know he could come in early.THERE WAS NO CHARGE from this company for this diagnosis and correction of the issue (reinstalled the drain P-trap correctly). How awesome is that?I will be using this company for all my plumbing needs going forward. Thanks so much!

    It is rare these days to find a contractor that is honest, trustworthy, and reliable. Second opinion plumbing is all of those things. I can honestly say I am so happy I found them. The misting system is even better than I had hoped. I installed a system that has made my backyard like a resort. My family enjoys spending time back there even when the temperatures are over 100. And it looks GREAT!! I was concerned the appearance would be undesirable but boy was I wrong! It looks very modern and contemporary and actually adds to my home’s curb appeal. And the cost was way less than I anticipated. I highly recommend second opinion plumbing and have been very happy with the work that was done. Thank you so much.

    Of all the businesses and services Ive used, this company hands down has the best customer service and overall best practices. Ive called them out twice for separate issues, and since it turned out being a different problem (dishwasher motor, and shower drain configuration) they did not charge me a service fee for coming out.     It all started when the hose on the shed blew a hole in itself. As we all know how wonderful our water quality is here in Mesa! Ha ha!! Lime had basically sealed the pipe and hose as one. So I tried to find where it was coming into the shed and my trusty jigsaw just nicked the blasted copper line. Instead of down and up or up and over it came in at an angle! Called a couple of other companies but they could not make it out today. Called these guys and from call of help 11:00am to finish 1:10pm Charles our tech was a total professional! Kudos for your being a friendly professional plumber plus!! (They do A/C too). Wife and I have found our go to plumbers. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!     Second Opinion Plumbing provides expert service, at a very reasonable price. We originally hired them initially to install a tank-less water heater and water softener. Upon inspection it was decided that our plumbing was dated and needed to be replaced. The crew worked tirelessly the entire day, all the while being extremely polite and professional.     I thought I needed a new water heater as my water was not getting hot and my current heater is almost 13 years old. I wanted information on a tankless system. Jessie arrived early (which was welcome!) and examined my current set up. He advised given the number of bathrooms and how my current system is plumbed that 1 tankless system would not be enough--I would need two. He advised I get a standard system (for a lot less money). He then noted my thermostatic valve and noticed that the water was coming out superhot from my 13 year old water heater based on feeling the outflow pipe. He made an adjustment to the thermostatic valve and presto, we have hot water again! He charged me nothing for the visit. Its hard to find this degree of honesty, integrity, and customer service in the service industries these days but todays visit with Jessie restored some faith. He literally saved me many thousands of dollars. When the old water heater eventually goes, I know who Im calling to replace it! Thanks Jessie and Second Opinion!

    Brian was Our technician who came out for a quote for three different issues in our home. He came out on Monday, arrived 10 minutes early and was very efficient and thorough in explaining the issues we had and recommendations for fixing them. We then scheduled for the work to be done on Wednesday. He was timely, told us it would take about 4 hours and got it done in about 3.5 hours. He took the time to go over our new appliances he installed as well as the warranties and any other necessary information we would need in terms of operating or managing our new sinks and reverse osmosis system. Very fair price and very happy!We no longer need to leave a sign in our spare sink saying do not use, and we finally have a reverse osmosis system, new kitchen faucet, and new garbage disposal. Highly recommend them and will be using them again in the future.Great local business!

    I was having an issue with my water heater yesterday so I called my home warranty and they would not send anyone out to my house until the next business day since it was not a true emergency. I have tenants with small children living at the property and needed the water heater fixed asap. A good friend of mine referred me to Second Opinion Plumbing. I called them last night around 7:15pm and was greeted by a warm welcoming voice eager to help me with my water heater issue. I briefly gave him the rundown on what was going on and with no hesitation he asked for my address and said he would be over in 20 minutes. The technician was able to fix my water heater within 15-20 mins of being there. He also took the time to show me what the problem was and explained ways on how I could help this issue from happening again in the future. I was left with excellent service from an outstanding technician who gives pretty solid high fives on the way out the door.I would HIGHLY recommend Second Opinion Plumbing to everyone in the area with hopes they are able to work with Justin who was the top notch technician who came to my rescue with such short notice. Not only does Justin come with lots of knowledge & great plumbing skills, he also has a VERY IMPRESSIVE beard!     I needed the water shut off for my fridge water line replaced. The old one was leaking and could not be shut off. They scheduled me for the next day and contacted me that day earlier than scheduled to see if they could come over early! Yes! Kyle promptly evaluated the problem, gave me a very good quote and then replaced the shut-off valve. This was not a standard compression shut-off valve that you can buy at Home Depot or Lowes, otherwise I would have done this myself. He had the correct part on his truck and was done in no time at all. I will use Second Opinion Plumbing again! They are family owned and operated.

    Updated 10/2021: Used Second Opinion Plumbing and again had amazing service! No reason to go elsewhere. Was able to get an appointment quickly. Received a phone call from the plumber to let me know they were on the way. Friendly, great service. Solved my problem within an hour. Cant recommend enough!Original Post 2020: Brandon showed up at the early time window which was great, he also called ahead of time to let us know he was on his way. Quickly assessed the problem and went out to get the part to make the repair on the same day. Would definitely recommend!

    We could hear water behind the bathroom wall but we could not see any water anywhere. The meter was not spinning but we called a couple of plumbers out anyway because we knew the noise was new. The first plumber told us we should just wait until we saw water somewhere because there was no evidence of a leak. Second Opinion Plumbing came to the house and asked if they could cut a hole in the wall to see what was going on. Sure enough there was a small leak under high pressure in a connection pipe spraying against the wall. They were able to repair the pipe in 15 minutes, and were super reasonable on the repair cost. I am so glad we called them, it makes me cringe to think the damage that could have been done had we waited like the first plumber told us.

    I have been suffering with sewer gas issues for the last 6 months. I’ve had other plumbing companies come to find and fix the issue, they didn’t address the issue. Then I called Second Opinion Plumbing and Air. Trevor came the very next morning, conferred with his Supervisor and came up with an idea. He left to go pick up a part and came right back.     We had a sewer leak in our kitchen island and were initially quoted $14k just for the plumbing, (from a one of the best reviewed companies in the valley, dont trust it, get quotes) so we decided to get a second opinion from Kyle and he suggested a more conservative start to figure out the problem, jetted our sewer line and no crack was visible/detected, meaning it just backed out of our clean out. Also meaning, my lack of knowledge was being preyed upon by the other company... Kyle was helpful, professional, quick to respond, most importantly embodied the old school idea that if you take care of your customers, they will take care of you. Dont hesitate, get their second opinion. The $14k quote ended up being $700 (after he discounted by $100 for being done early) and no cutting my slab for no good reason.     We are doing a total curbless walkin shower remodel. I had to hire 2nd Opinion after Tawney who took my call was so upbeat and friendly I immediately felt this wasnt a corporate organization this was a family operation and they care. Brian came out soon after on time, polished & wearing a mask (other plumbers did not). I have to admit I didnt know what I wanted and where to put it but he took the time to thoroughly explain everything even giving me some better ideas. A week later was surprised to find he himself would be doing the work with a helper. I observed he is very careful with tasks at hand and treated his helper with kindness, respect and yet authority. Answered my million questions without irritation and even gave hubby some how to tips that were greatly appreciated. Oh yeah, price was very fair for all the work they did also left the place cleaner than when they came.Kitchen remodel next who do you think ill be calling?

    We have an 82 year old house, and a significant portion of galvanized pipe that was badly deteriorating had to be replaced. After getting extremely high quotes from two other plumbers for a major plumbing repair, we called Second Opinion. We chose Second Opinion for the job not simply because they offered a competitive estimate, but because of the thorough assessment and explanation that their technician Charles provided to us. The repair job was completed yesterday, and we cannot praise this company enough. Throughout the day-long job, Charles provided continual updates as the work progressed & made sure we were informed of all aspects of the work being done. Charles was thorough, professional, personable, and he was extremely respectful of our home and our animals. After the bathroom ceiling had to be completely removed to get to a big section of leaking galvanized pipe, Charles made sure that every bit of ensuing debris was cleaned up. We have never had such a thorough clean-up after a repair job! On every aspect of this experience, we give this company 5+ stars -- the speed of response, the quality of the work, the professionalism and care of the technician.... we have tried several plumbers over the years, but we have finally found a plumbing company that we can feel 100% confident about.     I cannot speak highly enough about Second Opinion. I contacted them for an estimate to replace 28-year-old polybutylene piping in a two-story home with more resilient PEX and add a new water softener. Their estimate ended up being more reasonable than two competitors. Kyle also identified and explained other issues that had been jerry-rigged by the former owners and needed correction.Once the work was scheduled, Tawni in the Second Opinion office was always quick to communicate or answer any questions. The courteous four-person team who performed the work didnt stop for two days. They use their time and yours efficiently.In the course of performing the work, Kyle also found a serious venting issue with the HVAC air handler in the attic that presented a carbon monoxide risk. He fixed it that day at no additional cost.These folks are professional craftsmen who know their business. I plan to use them for any and all future plumbing needs and recommend them to family members and friends.
