    Paul and Nate are a father/son team that installed a new hot water heater for us when the one we had failed under warranty. It was not a Gold Star water heater but one installed by our previous plumber who retired earlier this year. They handled all of the warranty details with our original tank supplier and did a great job installing the replacement water heater. Very professional and neat. Thanks to Cody who came out earlier this week to inspect the old water heater and review our replacement options. We are glad we found Gold Star and look forward to them handling our future plumbing needs!

    Easy to get an appointment and they actually prepared the visit and completed the work a day earlier. I was a bit taken aback many the price quoted and was almost not going to get it done. After some discussion about how to do it showed that it would be very complex. So we dropped the flexibility and got a slightly better price. Once Vincent got started I realized that it was a very professional operation. The tools used and execution was a pleasure to see. Thanks for a job well done!

    I cannot say enough good things about experience with Gold Star, thanks to Mike Malone. What a great guy. Mike was the most pleasant, professional, and competent plumber I have ever had. He had positive energy and such a good attitude, honest, friendly and knowledgable— this guy was genuinely happy for me because he had a rare part that I needed. He worked efficiently, got everything fixed quickly, and even cleared my drain for me, unasked for— just to be nice. If I need services in the future, I will definitely contact Gold Star and I will 100% ask for Mike Malone. Just a top-notch quality guy. Oh, and the girl I communicated with on the phone, the phone agent, she was also friendly and she tried to accommodate my schedule, and called ahead of Mike’s arrival.     Gold Star is just that the Gold Star ⭐️!!! From their communication to confirm the appointment, to a phone call during my time window with a more accurate arrival time, to the complete professionalism of the Plumber. I’m impressed! The Plumber I had the opportunity to work with was Mike M.. Mike started by listening to my issue(s) and then starting the troubleshooting process leading to him then calling the manufacturer and trouble shooting with them to making a recommendation. He worked hard at understanding the issue and he was very knowledgeable about next steps. I ended up needing to get a new Water Heater, that he installed on the spot and didn’t need to go get anything else. I will recommend Gold Star Plumbing and Drain to anyone I hear needs a Plumber!

    So glad I called these guys! First of all I got a phone call from Todd who notified me that he had an appointment a day earlier than I had originally scheduled. That certainly helped me.     Weve had gold star out 3 times and every time staff have been incredibly friendly, fast, and efficient. Paul and Nate came out today and spotted the issue right away, fixed it fast, and were out the door before I had to leave for an early appointment. They were also very patient with my tiny dog who would not stop barking no matter what I did with him. Very very happy with them and will keep using them.

    My service tech was Michael, I was not there when he arrived he was kind enough to wait for me. When I arrived he greeted me with a hand shake and asked me what was going on.     I called Gold Star plumbing during a plumbing emergency and they came out first thing in the morning. The service by Paul and Nathan was five stars! They were very knowledgeable and were able to quickly diagnose and fix the problem. They also went above and beyond helping with a washer on a tap that has never worked right at no extra charge.     Called a plumber who came out and indicated we needed a new mixer for our bathroom shower! They called back and indicated the part was only from Poland and when we asked them what an alternative was they never responded! I contacted Goldstar Plumbing and Drain and they were at my house within the hour! After ordering the part it was installed within two days! The plumbers were amazing (shout out to Paul Navarrette) (worked in pairs) and the price was very reasonable! I would highly recommend!

    We had a filter crack and leak in our garage in the middle of the night. I called their emergency line and they set someone up to come out in the morning. Mike M. showed up promptly via his appointment time to give me a repair estimate to replace my rear hose bib assembly, we agreed on the quote, he personally cranked out the job during his visit, then additionally installed a new toilet for me during the same visit.     Corbin was very thorough, he took pictures and video of what he found. He is a very nice young man that cares about what he does and is very kind. He went above and beyond. Took the time and care to thoroughly inform me about my situation with a gas leak. I felt as though I had a family member helping me. He couldnt have been more professional, kind, and knowledgeable.     This is the best plumbing company I have ever used. Had a fire at my house. The contractor hired a different plumbing company who wanted to double charge me. Goldstar was amazing! I want to say thank you to the owners and everybody who came out to my house From your company.     A strong sewer smell in my guest bathroom sent me to Google for a company that could service sewer drains. Our house is 24 years old and was ready for the plumbing and sewer pipes to be checked and cleaned. Mike also found our water softener wasnt working and needed to be replaced. I needed the problems fixed pronto because I was expecting guests in a few days, and the Gold Star team did a HydroJet cleaning and water softener replacement in a few hours. Everything is working as its supposed to now. Mike and his team gave me tips on maintaining my water and sewer pipes and preventing problems in the future. I am so happy to have a working plumbing system now and a sweet-smelling house again!

    What can i say about GoldStar Plumbing and Drain. When I called and asked about my problem with my water softener, they were quick to offer an appointment, but i told them what was up and that it was an emergency, they contacted Paul Navarrette. He came out and helped with the problem. Unfortunately my system had gone out and he recommended to get a new one. He did explain that the water softener I had was broken. He built a bypass and said he would be back the next day with his son to help with the install of the new one.Nathan came with his dad the next day and installed the new softener in about 2 hrs. It is awesome that they could do it in that time. They explained every question i asked and left me satisfied with the new system.

    This company is fantastic. Cody and Tony are the best!!! They truly look out for the customer. We had to have all our drains replaced in the house due to old cast iron piping.     First initial assessment was with Chris Barnett he cane out and assessed the issue and scheduled to return Friday morning at 7. He was unable to make it which brought a little confusion in the beginning when a different technician showed up that morning at 8am. I called the office because I had not been informed that Chris would not be able to come out due to an injury. The new technician Michael was very apologetic that I hadn’t been informed and so was Katrina from the office. Michael assured me that he was aware of the problem and had received all information from Chris about the nature of the drain issue and that he had all the materials needed to resolve the problem so I gave him the go ahead. Michael repaired the pipe very quickly. He had left but when he left I noticed the pipes still weren’t draining so he quickly turned around and came back after I called the office not even five minutes later. He was able to clear the blockage using a blow bag and everything drained and started working properly he then discussed with me some further options that we will likely pursue in the near future to clean out all the plumbing a technique called hydojetting. Anyway I appreciate the info. Michael was very friendly answered all my questions and overall experience was great minus the few hiccups in the beginning but still fine star quality. As I’ve worked with this company before in my prior restoration profession and would highly recommend them for any future projects. Thank you Michael (CS) haha

    I was installing a new anti-siphon valve for my irrigation main line that teed off of my water main for the house. Unfortunately, the main water shut-off valve and the one at the street both leak, so the water just slowly trickled out of the tee, which prevented me from soldering on the new piping for the anti-siphon valve. I discovered this on Saturday afternoon and called Gold Star to have someone come out and fix this issue. Chris came out first thing Monday morning and was super kind and patient. He answered all of my questions patiently. This is the kind of plumber you always want to get! Chris suggested just using a pro press 3/4 copper coupling to prevent having to disconnect or cut any piping from the main line for the house. He reassured me that the connection it makes will last for decades, and the fix took about 10 minutes with the pro press tool. I just held the valve in place to make it level while he pressed the coupler onto the tee while the water continued trickling out. It looks great, and Chris was double checking the alignment of the anti-siphon valve to make sure it was level before attaching the coupler and making the alignment permanent. I then went further and asked him questions about my design of using copper unions around the new valve, along with other questions. Chris reassured me that this was a good idea, and is something he would do on his own house. Again, Chris was super kind and patient to answer all of my questions!     These guys are amazing, from the installation crews to the office staff. My water heater died on a Thursday afternoon and where other companies couldn’t come until at least Monday, Gold Star was able to reach out to Cody, a nearby Tech and he was there an hour later! He made his recommendations and the next day was back with a crew and the new parts. Five friendly and professional guys worked like a seasoned crew to replace my old tank with a well-reviewed Navien tankless system and water softener/filter, in just 3 hours! In this time they also installed recirculation equipment to ensure we got hot water a little faster to the farthest end of the house. They were happy to let me watch and answer any questions. I feel like I paid a reasonable price for the work considering the times and am happy with the quality and appearance of the installation. A few days later the ladies in the office followed up to be sure all was good and had even found a small credit to give back.I highly recommend Gold Star!

The price is reasonable and its included 9 years part and labor warranty with yearly flush for the water heater.On 1/20/23 Rey G. came out promptly at 9:00am to perform the work. He is very polite, professional, very focus, and pay attention to details. He installed new supply line, shutoff valve, T&P for the water heater and it looks so nice and neat as everything was cut precisely. He also installed the kitchen faucet, garbage disposal, and reconnected my RO line to the refrigerator. I am very happy with the quality of work performed by Rey. I would use Gold Star again for other plumbing works and also recommend to others.

    A “Gold Star” Experience with Gold Star Plumbing and Drain. Katrina (receptionist), Todd, (dispatcher) and Chris (technician) were all very friendly to work with and their main priority was excellent customer service.Chris came out to the house twice, once to diagnose and once to fix. He was amazing both times. I truly appreciated his communication - I like knowing what’s going on so I can address it in the future if need be! While he was working on our original issue (leaky pipe behind the shower wall) he made us aware of another issue in the house - there was no pressure from Chris to fix this ‘other issue’ immediately, rather it was coming from a place of concern and providing awareness to me as the homeowner.Chris wore shoe coverings the entirety of the time, was great in cleaning up from the fix, and very transparent about the end bill. All in all, I have peace knowing I’ve found my plumber for life!

    My experience with Gold Star Plumbing and Drain is beyond 5 stars. Cody came to my residence and made my partner feel like the residence was his home and provide professional and courtesy service about our water heater issues. I am retired Desert Storm veteran that travels for work and when I arrived home was very happy with the service provided at my residence. I will definitely recommend the Gold Star team to family and friends. Every time, I called Cody or the office, everyone was so positive and happy to take my call and work for the Gold Star team. I wish all companies had the same upbeat attitude during an homeowners stressful moments with looking for guidance, knowledge and experience. Unfortunately, USAA declined the replacement value of the water heater after Cody explained in full details. I am guessing in todays market, all insurance companies are looking for ways to decline claims to homeowners.     Our toilet became loose so I called gold star to come out and inspect, after further inspection the plumber found the flange was broken and had given me two options to repair 1) putting a new wax ring and bolts (temporary fix) or 2) replacing the flange, wax ring and new bolts (permanent fix). So obviously I chose the permanent fix, huge shout out to gold star and Paul Navarrette for being completely honest and giving me options. IMO if the company you hire doesn’t give you options when there are options available then they’re not worth your time or money.

    I have never used this service for my plumbing needs but will be using them going forward. Their technician Cody saw my daughter crying on the side of the road after her car had broken down and helped her push it off the road to safety. He then stayed with her while she waited for my wife to show up. While they were waiting he also looked at what the problem was and diagnosed it. When my wife showed up he told her the part that was needed, and had called his mechanic friend to help fix it. My wife went and picked up the part and Cody and his friend spent a good hour working on it. He said as a father of a daughter he would hope someone would do the same for her if she found herself in a similar situation. Real stand up guy. My wife and I are beyond grateful for Cody and the help he provided and kindness he showed to our daughter during a stressful moment. If Cody is an example of the people you have working for you I look forward to using your service next time I am in need of help with my plumbing.

    I wanted to provide feedback on the excellent service we received today from Rey Garza & Gold Star. We live in Maricopa, so a little bit of a distance. Rey was punctual & very efficient by installing the water softener. I was very impressed with his ability to install the water softener so quickly. While Rey was here, he also discovered a leak that our water heater had, which he readily fixed. Nowadays, it’s not always easy to find great customer service, but Rey exceeded our expectations and represented Gold Star very well. Oh, and before I forget to mention, Paul Navarette who initially came out was also very professional and also left a great impression on us. Thank you Gold Star for focusing on great customer service! It’s reflected in your employee’s professionalism. 😊

    We had a toilet leaking at the base, where it sits on the floor. Chris and Clay of Gold Star Plumbing came out did an excellent job of assessing the issue, explaining the necessary repairs, and completing the job in a timely manner. I was grateful that these two techs were both highly skilled/knowledgeable, as well as friendly and honest. I am confident that their charge for the job, while not cheap, was competitive. Will call upon Gold Star Plumbing again when necessary - and will hope that Clay and Chris are assigned to the job.

    Hot water heater failed at my rental over the holiday. My normal plumber was overloaded with service calls and referred me to Goldstar. Goldstar was able to have a plumber out within an hour and the heater was replaced by 3pm. From the first phone call for service, to the completed job, this was a professional and customer oriented company. Chris let us know when he was on his way, sent a photo so the tenant would recognize him, and gave me a rundown of what he found and what options he could provide. He couldve waited for a new heater to arrive the next morning, but he continued to work on a solution and was able to procure a heater the same day and had it installed before the day was over. Great work ethic, great communication, great job.
