How did I know of this company?! Ive lived in Gainesville for 33 years and, long story short, was never happy with any other plumbing company. This past Thursday night, my toilet broke and flooded half my house. We shut off the water so it wasnt an emergency. I called Josh at 9:30a and even though it was a holiday week, he sent someone to my house by 11:00am. The plumber did not smell of cigarette smoke or reek of cologne, shook my hand upon coming and going, and did not try to sell me on anything. He simply pointed out the obvious problems created by the previous plumbers and asked if I wanted him to fix a certain part or replace it. He did great work, particularly with the botched jobs he had to address first. I wish I would have used them to build my house. All of the parts, for example, hoses and valves, were metal. Not like the builders specials they used to build my house. I purchased a toilet from them which was cheaper than advertised at Lowes. The plumber was at my house for 3.5 hours fixing a number of things and the price was way less than I expected. I am super appreciative and super happy I found this company. I cant recommend them enough, particularly if you are building a new house. You might avoid you home flooding years from now. ---- Thank you, Josh.

We chose to work with Scarborough Plumbing (over other options) because they were very responsive when we first called, and the diagnosis of our plumbing issues by Clark was extremely thorough – he spent a lot of time investigating the problem and explained it to us in detail, with photos and videos he’d taken while underneath our house. He also offered us several options and estimates for how to address it. During both visits, Clark and his partner were courteous, professional, answered our questions, and worked non-stop. They earned our trust to do a complete replacement of our outgoing plumbing, addressing lots of wonky patch jobs that had been done by different parties over the years. We’re very happy and grateful for the excellent work that was done and are relieved to not have to worry about what’s going on under our house. Debbie who manages the office was terrific to work with as well regarding scheduling, invoicing, and payment. Our experience was all good and we highly recommend Scarborough Plumbing!

Our home warranty company sent out a contracted company to install a hot water heater. They did not know what they were doing, tried to tell us they could not install our washer without and additional 400.00, and left the new natural gas heater in such an unsafe condition, that we began calling local plumbers. Scarborough Plumbing was very responsive and was able to come out immediately. They reinstalled the water heater correctly and were able to hook up the washer without an additional fee or parts. More than that, they gave us piece of mind because we were very worried about how badly the first install was. We are very grateful for their responsiveness.

Extremely professional, kind, and fast. We had an urgent issue with a whole home blockage (water backing up in our restroom, showers, and tub). We called for help and despite being a Saturday, Josh and Ryan both were awesome to deal with. From speaking with Josh to having Ryan come out. Debbie typically answers the phones and schedules the service calls. She is friendly and goes out of her way to work around my schedule. I also like that they send the same guy out every time. Mike is excellent and has been servicing our home for about a year.

I had already identified the location of the water leak. Josh from Scarborough Plumbing attended that day. He was friendly and explained the various ways to fix the pipe and the best way which would be better for us in the long run. He was quick with the work and the finished work was clean. He waited till the glue dried and reopened the line to make sure there were no other leaks. I am very satisfied with the work. I strongly recommend Josh and Scarborough Plumbing.

Every time the guys at Scarborough come out they’re professional, friendly, honest, and efficient. They’ve never left even a small mess. They’ve never tried to sell me something I don’t need, and they’re reasonably priced. I have only good things to say! There is nothing like a professional job well done. I had a toilet that needed to be reset from a change in flooring and another that needed to be reset from a bad install (mine). They showed up on time, were in and out in no time, perfectly installed and caulked, and with no trace left behind, all at a very reasonable price. I only use Scarborough Plumbing because I like to reward excellence, so they get the call whenever I need something.

Excellent service on every level. The best though, was they re-piped the entire house, replacing corroding, old 1950s pipes, and with an amazing crew, disciplined, professional, focused, they each showed they really liked their work, proud, and missed nothing. +Installed new water-saving toilet, sink, shower controls, and all connections, expertly. Later, as the city inspector came, confirmed it was flawless, saying he knew they do great work, always. I highly recommend them. Thank you!

I had a leak with my sump pump at a rental house and called a 24-hour-service plumbing company (different from Scarborough) to stop the leak in the evening. The leak area was taped waiting for the new check valve ordered by the plumber to arrive in five days. After this plumbers visit, the sump pump started running constantly and the plumber did not even realize this problem. I realized this problem three days later and called this plumbing company. However, no quick response to fix the problem and I would need to wait for another 6 days after the arrival of the part to have their technician over. So, I called Scarborough Plumbing out of desperation. The office manager Debbie immediately sent an experienced technician, who fixed the problem on that day (it turns out that you can get the part in store)! I am grateful for Scarboroughs rescue and would highly recommend them.

I recommend Scarbourgh for all your plumbing needs! I have used them for 15 years, for everything from new construction, remodels and basic needs. They are straightforward, on time, and very reasonable rates. I just had them go to a rental property yesterday, for a clogged sink drain, which was worked on by a big name company the month before my tenant called. 400$! So I had Scarbourgh go out, they unclogged the drain and happen to notice the old faucet was leaking let me run to Lowe’s and they put the new one in, all for $175! That is service! We had a couple emergency situations arise over the past year, one where our septic backed-up into our house. On both occasions, they dropped everything and came to our rescue. Called these folks Monday morning and they were able to come out Tuesday within 15 minutes of the estimated arrival time. They scoped the pipe, cleared the blockage, and even made a trip to get a new clean out cap in just over an hour. I thought invoice was reasonable.

Mike texted to say when hed be arriving, showed up a little early (always a plus in my book), was as pleasant and knowledgeable a person as youd like to meet in any context and fixed the problem with no fuss. On top of that I learned a lot about our particular plumbing situation and that of the houses in our area -- and just found Mike to be an all around great guy. While renovating our condo at Campus Edge, we had a water line in the bathroom snap like a twig. After scrambling and turning off the water to the unit, we called Scarborough Plumbing to come repair the mess that was made.Not only did they send someone out the very same day, but the plumber did an excellent job replacing not just the broken section of pipe, but additional pipe that was prime to break in the future. This professionalism and attention to detail saved us both headaches and $$ down the road.They have since replaced the water heater in that same unit, and again we couldn’t be happier with the quality of work, the prompt on-time professionalism of the workers, and the excellent value of their low prices. I can not recommend this company highly enough, and we won’t be looking anywhere else for our future plumbing needs!

Diagnosed the problem (a failed join in our cast iron sewer drain, allowing roots to intrude, resulting in a clog) quickly and thoroughly explained the options and gave their recommendation. Went with their recommended solution and it turned out they were correct on all accounts. After the pipe was repaired, they scoped the drains (with a camara) to both septic tanks and gave us a clean bill of health. Finished the job quickly. I was exceedingly happy with the service.
