After buying a new house I needed some work done. I hired these guys to help me change some things. Charles (the owner)was very friendly and I was quickly on the schedule and he was very flexible to my schedule.Mike and Jack came out and were on time and very nice. They installed a new toliet and new kitchen faucet (which was very hard to remove). Both look great and I am definitely going to use them again when I change out other things as I fix up ly new house!!

Charles came by in 20 minutes after being referred to him by multiple coworkers that have used his service and they were absolutely correct. They all had great stories to tell of how he did what others wouldnt or couldnt. He is a nice guy and he knows his stuff. He had my line clear in less than an hour after my drain backed up. All this the day after a hurricane (Helene) so I know he was busy! Very reasonable price and he offered a discount on top because I was personally recommended. Hes a small family operation who relies on word of mouth and so Im happy to write this review as he helped me in no time flat. Highly recommend!

My husband and I cannot say enough good words about Charles and his team. One of our friends had highly recommended him, and told us that he was fantastic! Our job was very difficult, as our main was across the street, and our water line was over 5 feet below ground. Charles told us that he was not going to give up, and that he would fix our leak. Charles did an excellent job repairing our leak. I really appreciated all the extra time he took to explain all the details and updates to my husband and I. His team of men is respectful and courteous, as they have a great leader to emulate. If you have any kind of leak, call Charles. He won’t let you down, and we will definitely call him first if we ever have any more leaks or plumbing problems in general.

We recently purchased a home in Gainesville that we thought had been fully renovated. Unfortunately, we discovered after closing that the main bathroom tub/shower wasn’t draining properly. We had another plumbing company attempt to snake the drain, but when they couldn’t fix the problem, they recommended Charles at Gator Leak and Drain. Charles came out immediately and put a camera in the drain to diagnose the problem. Charles told us it was one of the most complex plumbing issues he had ever experienced, but he used his expertise and advanced equipment to keep working on the problem until it was fully resolved. Charles was extremely honest and kept us in the loop the entire time, even sending us videos of the issues he discovered. He didn’t overcharge us like he could have, but instead gave us a fair price for all his work. We were beyond happy and grateful that we found Charles. After trying the first few plumbers to pop up, none were available or really even wanted to talk to me.Charles responded and said he could fit me in for his last slot of the day. I’d simply done a google search and found him, a few hours later he was at my home. After diagnosing the problem, he gave me an extremely reasonable estimate…and there were multiple issues: I also needed to get a new faucet and take care of some mold he had found ( which he so kindly helped coordinate with a mold removal company) then he worked us in again the following day for the repairs. When it was time to write the check, he charged us less than his original estimate!!!!This company is honest and reliable and have gained a loyal customer in us. I will not hesitate to refer them to everyone I know.

Charles over at Gator leak and drain is the man! I heard what sounded like running water in my bathroom but no fixtures were on or leaking. A little research led to me a slab leak and I was able to narrow down the location after finding the floor warmer in one spot. I called Gator leak and detection and they confirmed my suspicion and located the leak right where I anticipated. Charles gave me all of my options and ball park pricing. It was so reasonable that I felt zero need to get any other quotes for the project. They were there a few days later and fixed it up within 2 hours AND cleaned up as much of the mess as they could. There is good work and there is good people, Charles happens to be both. If you need a plumbing repair or leak detection, don’t look anywhere else other than Gator leak and drain.

I asked Charles to come and install a water main shut off valve for my condo unit as the only way to stop water was to find the meter and shut it there. I could not find the meter, turns out it was somewhere in the bushes in a wooded area by the building. He found it, and did the work. The price he charged was reasonable. Very professional and knowledgeable, Updated 01/17/24: I called for their services a couple more times for working on my kitchen after mold remediation and kitchen remodel. Still very professional and responsive. I also like that they communicate with customers on ETAs. Still recommend them very highly. I have more work in the future for them. Charles was awesome. Was looking to install an individual water shutoff valve for my newly purchased condo unit. The problem is that we were unsure of how the common plumbing in the building was laid out, since it was deep. Charles managed to trace the line, and found exactly where it comes in and explained how it would have to be installed, if we were to go that route. He told us what our options were, and his advice will probably save us a lot of time and money.They got the job done quickly, and even cleaned up afterwards. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. We noticed water coming from our driveway- the last thing I needed. I ignored it for a bit, but then knew I needed to deal with it. I called my regular plumber who said he didn’t have the equipment to help. I did a google search and a Miami based company could come diagnose for a bunch of $$- but they couldn’t help fix. I continues to call around until I found Gator Leak and Drain. They said they could come out and diagnose and help to fix or connect me with someone who could. Charles is the nicest. He took a couple of hours to figure out the problem under my driveway and then gave me three options based on cost. Lucky for me the lowest one worked- and we didn’t have to dive into the concrete! Yay. Even after it was completed they came back and put my yard back together and he offered me a discount. Honestly- I was so thrilled with the work and the service, you should definitely use this company!

Even the 24 hour emergency plumbers wouldnt perform leak detections on a weekend. I called over 10 businesses before I was referred to Gator Leak and Drain. We used this company for leaks detection. Very kind, knowledgeable, and quick. We found out that we had a leak because our GRU bill was very high for the past couple months. They came the next day and they were very kind and gave us a great price. They found the leak quickly and repaired everything and helped us with the receipt so that we could submit the repair to GRU to get reimbursed. If you need an honest plumber Charles is your guy. We had a slab leak leak that turned into another one. Charles found the second one before he started on the first one and he determined that it probably wouldn’t be in our best interest to attempt a repair due to the possibility of a cascade of more leaks that wouldn’t solve the problem. He referred us to a company that did our hot water repipe. Like I said… honest!!!! Don’t hesitate to use them. They will treat you right! We will definitely use them again in future.

Mike was EXCELLENT! Im a first-time home owner and this was my first plumbing issue. I called up Gator Leak & Drain and they let me know that theyd come out at their first availability. I was even able to send them a text with a picture of the problem, since I dont know anything about these types of issues.Less than 24 hours later Mike was knocking on my door. He answered all of my questions and was extremely knowledgeable. He was thorough and has an eye for detail. He not only made sure that the leak was repaired perfectly, but he also did not leave a single drop of water or smudge of dirt in the area he worked.Call these folks, theyll treat you well and leave water where its supposed to be!EDIT: My toilet had a problem and they replaced the whole thing on the same day that I texted them! Came out on short notice at the end of the day, quickly identified the slab leak on our residential hotline, and carefully explained the options. Arranged to return at the earliest possible time to attempt a fix on our very old plumbing system. Although the pipe, once uncovered, was obviously too far gone for any fix they quickly arranged for another company (very reasonable estimate) to come out the following day for the partial re-pipe. I was extremely impressed with the Charle(s) professionalism and honesty. In addition, they only charged me for the leak detection- nothing for all the dirty work to jackhammer and dig out the leak and fill in afterward. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars.

I HIGHLY recommend these guys!!! Toilet started backing up into the shower so I went on their website at the recommendation of my best friend (he had a leak outside that was causing his GRU bill to be high). I was browsing the website (feeling stressed out because first plumbing EMERGENCY), and a little chat box popped up with the magical words of “How Can I Help You?”. The whole interaction took about 5 minutes and was very reassuring. They messaged me to let me know they were on the way and within about 30 to 40 minutes, they were in my driveway. The owner was kind, knowledgeable, reassuring and a good listener. I was on their website around 8am and by around 10am, everything was back to normal!!! I am so GRATEFUL at how affordable they are and a week later, everything is still great. My best friend had a drain emergency at his condo too and he ended up calling them too. We fondly refer to Gator Leak & Drain as our plumber. These guys are wonderful, honest, quick and affordable. You won’t regret it!!!

They said to text them immediately and theyd come right over.We discussed the option and decided to go with capping as it was decided to be most budget friendly for us at the time.The repair went fast and our water restored. Having recently lost my beloved husband and living in Orlando with a rental town home in Gainesville, a flooding floor from a wrongly installed kitchen faucet was deeply upsetting. Only God could have arranged my referral to Charles. He came quickly, identified the problem that Premier Plumbing had installed incorrectly causing water damage in our rental and next door. He also found the ice maker box had not been capped off from the total remodel arranged with only the computer and phone for help as I had 24/7 care of my husband. He located what no one else could do and repaired that. He is honest, caring, and goes beyond normal to help others. Gainesville has long needed a good plumber as B&H was bought by someone for the name and only refers to Premier Plumbing to gain a % of the charge. No one should use these businesses. It has cost me many thousands of dollars and many hours of time and stress. I am thankful Charles and his extensive plumbing knowledge and kindness helped me. I could not recommend this company more. Charles was great. Not only did he care about the service he was providing but more importantly, he cared that his customer was happy with the product. He went above and beyond for us. We had a hot water leak in the bathroom in the slab. Water was coming up between the tiles in the floor. We called that morning and he was there that afternoon. Not only did he do his job locating the leak but once the plumber failed to make the repair, he did it for them and did not charge us for the extra work. He told us that we would have hot water back by a certain time and he made it happen when someone else couldnt. He was professional, friendly, and I cannot recommend his services enough.

My water heater went out on Wednesday the day before Thanksgiving and we were at a loss with anyone that could help us. Charles was prompt, attentive, and very knowledgable. My situation was difficult because there was unknown water leaking into my kitchen and it turned out to be from two different issues. A compression stop that was improperly placed, and an ice maker that was blocked by cabinets without being properly capped.It was a little difficult processing the information from him to my land-lord and vise versa, but he handled everything and spoke to the land-lord personally to explain the fixes every step of the way. Which took a lot of stress off of me.After discovering the leaks, he explained to me in very understandable terms exactly what was causing the leak, and how his repairs would resolve it. When I discovered that second leak, he was at my door the very next morning DETERMINED to find it. He genuinely cared about not leaving until I had my water back :)He also cleaned up after himself! I highly recommend Charles to anyone. If the repair is outside his scope of work, he can recommend you to someone who can fix it. He doesnt leave you to fend for yourself.

Charles and his apprentice were great. I had an issue with my washer (roots in pipes) not draining properly. Another company was out twice and could not fix the problem. Charles was here on time, explained what was happening and had it fixed in less than an hour. His professionalism was top notch. If you are looking for an honest and professional plumber, he’s your guy. Will absolutely use his services again. Thanks, Charles!

We had a pipe burst out of nowhere, with water everywhere, but none for us to drink, because we had to shut it off. Charles was able to get to our house early the next day. He fixed the whole thing - all done and we were with water in less than 24 hours. He is so nice, and understanding, and helpful, and polite. He worked for us under storm conditions (Elsa) with no complaints. If there were 10 stars for me to give him, I would. I couldnt possibly recommend anyone more. Thank you, Charles!
