These guys are truly great at what they do. Not only were they able to solve my basement flooding issues by installing a larger sump pump pit but they were always timely, respectful, and communicative. They covered all my plumbing needs in a tough situation and they do high quality work. Moving forward, Ill call them first when I need a plumber.

After struggling to find a plumber willing to come to our property (one company simply ‘ghosted’ us, A-1 set us up with Mark. It is an older home needing many updates, including plumbing. Mark came out twice, first to access and then to accomplish a first repair. During both of his visits, he was personable and professional. He was able to set our minds at ease and help us map out a workable plan to repair and update our heat and plumbing. With his second visit, Mark worked diligently to get our first-floor heat working and patiently decoded the maze of tubing and piping to figure out the system. He really seems to approach his work with passion! Our 3rd appointment is set for the second floor. My husband and I are happy to have found a solid plumbing company. The overall experience was great. Honest communication, no up sells, prompt appointment keeping and great staff. Mark is a pleasure to work with. We look forward to working with the whole A1 team and highly recommend them.

We purchased a heat pump hot water heater at Home Depot, but we needed it installed. Home Depot gave us a list of a few plumbers in our area and I filled out an online questionnaire of what we needed. Within a half hour Mark from A-1 called. We had our heater delivered the following week on Wednesday and Mark was here Thursday morning. Unfortunately, we needed a 220 box added for the electricity needed. I was able to get an electician on Friday. Mark and Brian returned the following Wednesday and completed the job. They both were very nice, got right to work and got the job done quickly. While scheduling, Mark was always pleasant and professional and never made me feel like we were an annoyance. Overall, we were just so impressed with how quick and easy this whole process was. They clearly knew what they were doing. We would highly recommend A-1 Plumbing.

Mark was gracious, thorough, helpful, well prepared, and efficient. He quickly discovered and solved the problem of my drainage leak in the kitchen. He explained the issue, showed me what was needed and performed the repair. Additionally, he had anticipated other possible problems and had parts and tools at the ready to complete those repairs if needed. He was kind enough to answer a few other questions I had regarding another problem in another part of the house and performed some troubleshooting to get a better idea of how to address that issue. He took photos of parts not clearly marked in order to be able to complete those repairs. His billing and payment system was also clear and afforded me a prompt and direct way to pay for the service. I had called several other plumbing companies but none were able to provide the timely, complete and thoughtful service that he provided. I would recommend A-1 Plumbing to anyone who needed plumbing services because of the superior service he provided and the promptness of his response. I also wish to thank him for coming from Farmington to my rural Freeman Township location.
