I contacted Bud’s due to sewage backing up in my bathtubs and my sump pump working overtime. I only use Bob, plumber, for my repairs due to his thoroughness and years of experience. I had to wait due to his other jobs and the holidays, but I was willing to do this. Him and his apprentice were prompt, thorough and explained exactly what was occurring prior to them completing the 4 hour job. The culprit was a root in my sewage system! I trust Bud’s and Bob to provide me a fair quote and get the job done the right way.

Had a severe clog that couldn’t wait until Monday. Called Saturday afternoon and they came out first thing Sunday morning. David and Canaan provided excellent service and were extremely helpful. They Answered all my questions and got a few good tips for prevention of future clogs.This is the first plumbing company I’ve had to use. I will be calling them again if I need help in the future.

We had our garbage disposal go out the evening of Thanksgiving. I called first thing Friday morning and Bud’s Plumbing had Ben out to our house within about an hour and a half. He was extremely nice and professional. Was able to find issues with our pipes that other plumbers had missed in the past. He got us taken care of in a timely manner, as well. We are very pleased with the service and would highly recommend!

Buds Plumbing was great. Called them because we had some basement plumbing issues that caused leaks and sewage back up. I contacted them via the internet and was contacted the next business day and had a tech out the same day. The tech, Jacob, arrived on time and gave a fair and honest evaluation of the situation. Jacob gave me a quote and let me know what to expect on the job and what possible issues that may be ran into. Jacob and another tech arrived the next day, on time again, and did a great job getting the issue fixed. Jacob let us know what else we may want to do and gave a quote on the next project. Buds was great, professional and very punctual. We will definitely be using Buds going forward first and foremost. Highly recommend Buds.

I cant begin to tell you how thrilled I was with the work done by Bob, from Buds Plumbing. His attention to details was extraordinary. After living with well water for 32 years wevebeen through a lot of plumbing issues and had many plumbers up here. They insulated the crawlspace pipes without me having to tell them (or do it myself afterwards). Were on our 7th water heater so Bob had our water analyzed and put a special well water anode in as well as an expansion chamber (weve never had that). I expect this one will last a lot longer than any previous systems. We also have had the outside spigot freeze and break twice. He installed a special spigot that drained and even stuck out to the side (since ground clearance was so low there). I could go on (I saved up a lot of little projects) as he did everything exceptionally well.Very, very pleased to recommend Buds plumbing. I base this on 30+ years experience with plumbers.

COULDNT BE HAPPIERMy main water line burst about 2” from the outside of my house (4 ft. below ground level) and I was gripped with fear because I had no insurance, I knew that replacing the line would be expensive, and it was 9PM. Fortunately, I was able to turn the water off myself at the meter. I’m an experienced plumber (PVC & galvanized pipe) but I’m 68 years old and my family of six would have been without water too long if I did the job myself. My front yard was a nightmare to work in because it was small, surrounded by a picket fence, and had numerous more obstacles for accommodating an excavator to dig a 20 foot trench. So, I googled “water main replacement Evansville” and Bud’s Plumbing came out on top with the highest and most reviews. I called Bud’s in the morning and was told by a very cordial woman that someone would come out to give me a quote. Shortly thereafter, Bob & Ben came out to give me a quote. Bob did all the talking and said he could push pipe underground from the street but he said using an excavator to dig a trench would be cheaper. Bob impressed me so much with how he answered each of my questions that I decided to not even shop for a second quote because his was already about half of what I expected. The next day at 8:30 in the morning, Bob & Ben showed up with a third guy, Randy, who fit his small excavator on rubber tracks into my yard after they removed portions of my wooden fence and I had running water by 1 PM which boggled my mind. The youngest guy, Ben, told me that Bud’s employs only union plumbers which surprised me since I assumed that highly-skilled union plumbers wouldnt be affordable. He also said that Bud’s allows all of their workers to use tools & parts of their personal preference and that Bob prefers buying everything made in the USA when possible. I talked to Randy for about 30 minutes during his lunch break and was very impressed with his digging skills. I could go on and on but the bottom line is that these three guys at Bud’s exceeded all of my expectations in terms of price, work quality, friendliness, and professionalism. They even assembled my fence back together and swept my neighbor’s drive without me asking them. Go figure.

July 2024- My basement drain was backing up, into the house, when it rained. There was definitely a problem with the water escaping. Andrew was dispatched, and upon arrival, quickly diagnosed the situation and, after explaining what wed need to do to fix the problem, drew up a plan of action. Two days later, after everything was put into place, the service crew and excavator came and meticulously worked and found 130 feet of old drain pipe that was filled with tree roots. Its no wonder it wasnt draining right. I now have peace of mind knowing the job was done correctly, and I would recommend Buds plumbing to ANYONE having plumbing problems. Sherri Pichon

In conversation with their technicians Bob and Benjamin we mentioned our old outside hydrants. Bob immediately offered a separate estimate since they were already here. The estimate was so low we said we can afford this, when could you replace them? He said we can do it now, We are here and we have the parts in our truck. We also requested ball valves too for winterization convenience. This is the most professional, polite, friendly service we have seen in years! Bob and Benjamin made our day!! Bud’s plumbers ALWAYS go the extra mile!!! They try hard to recommend the most economical solutions. They also educate customers on future expectations, what the home owner can do to avoid continued plumbing issues. They recommend products that can be used for maintenance of issues. They take the time to make sure their customer understands all their options. They never over-sell or over-recommend work that needs done. Logan even grabbed a screwdriver to tighten my storm door when he noticed it was slow to close. And Kevin asked if I had any slow draining drains and he hopped right in and cleaned out a shower drain for me and showed me how to do it myself in the future!! A few names off the top of my head who have provided us amazing service- Dylan, Logan, and Kevin. There are many plumbing companies out there, but I’m confident I will get amazing service when I call Bud’s for our plumbing needs!!

I called Bud’s when I was in a pinch just before Christmas. Eric and another guy (didn’t get his name) came out the next day to assess the situation and give me an estimate. They were back out two days later, first thing in the morning and resolved the issue. Bud’s Plumbing is an absolutely phenomenal company. This is our second time using their services, the first time being to fix a gas leak, and then this time to restructure our indoor plumbing because whoever built our house back in the 1970s took some major, haphazard shortcuts that made drainage and clogging problematic. Tyler was our main tech on the job. He came out to do the initial inspection and give the estimate for the job, and then he came back for our two day plumbing job. He was candid about the plumbing repairs we needed, worked quickly and efficiently with his partner both days on the job, and verbally conveyed details about the job he thought we needed to know throughout the day. Tyler was knowledgeable and had excellent customer service skills. I believe Keagen was with him the first day, and he was a very good tech as well. We will be using Bud’s Plumbing again next year for our business repairs, and we feel so fortunate to have come in contact with this local company.

Update... Theyve continued the detailed, friendly, and quality service Ive come to expect. Theyve since installed a new water heater for me and will install a water softener. Im very pleased with the structured problem solving approach theyve taken to work around the unique plumbing design of my houseUpdate... Mark with Buds Plumbing reached out and we had a very positive conversation about my experience. He sent out two new technicians to verify and improve the previous technicians work and even gave me a gift card to a restaurant of my choosing. They have regained my trust. I recommend them and if something isnt right, reach out to them so they can fix it.I had an appointment to get an estimate between 9:15 and 10:15. After receiving a phone call confirming my time I was told that the technician would be at my house at 10:15ish. At approximately 10:15 I was notified that my technician will be dispatched and arrive shortly. At 11:10 a.m. I called Buds Plumbing to inquire as to where my technician was and explained that my original appointment time was between 9:15 and 10:15. The representative I spoke to gave me the geolocation of my technician and indicated that the technician had a morning meeting that ran long which was why they were behind schedule. Im a reasonable person and understand that things come up. However not being notified that my technician would be arriving an hour late is frustrating and I expressed as much to the representative that I spoke to and she was barely remorseful that my appointment time was missed. The technician finally arrived at my door looking disheveled. Their work uniform shirt was completely unbuttoned down the front and their safety toe shoes on both feet had the steel showing through. I do believe first impressions make a lasting impression. I was not impressed. The technician, despite his lack of professional appearance, was kind and courteous and was quick about getting my estimate. However after giving me the estimate he promptly said that he needed to run to town to get a couple parts, which was perfectly acceptable, however what is not acceptable is showing up an hour late for the estimate and then telling the customer they are going to go to lunch. While the technician was at lunch for over an hour I called back to Buds Plumbing and expressed my concerns again this time with a different representative and was greeted with the same barely remorseful tone and response. The technician finally arrived and completed the job and to their credit, the technicians work was acceptable. However what is not acceptable is having the technician walk into my home with their work boots on and not acknowledging the fact that I took my shoes off to walk on the carpet and promptly walked onto brand new carpet and proceeded to work as if nothing out of the ordinary was occurring, proceeded to lay greasy dirty tools on my carpet, including his dirty tool box which you can see in the attached picture has an outline left on my carpet. Carpet that cost $10,000 and is less than a year old. The previous experience I had with Buds was nothing like this. The technician provided quality work, prompt work, and each and every single time they entered the house put on shoe covers. I initially went with Buds because of a previous experience as I am an extremely loyal customer if treated fairly and receive quality service. However this has severely impacted who Ill use the next time I have plumbing repairs needed. My decision to continue to use Buds plumbing is solely based on if I am contacted and have the wrongs corrected from my experience. As I previously mentioned the whole reason I chose to use Buds again, even after shopping around, was because of my previous experience regarding promptness of service, quality of service, and politeness of technician.The ball is in your court Buds Plumbing You have my information and I look forward to hearing from you.

Technician was very informative and friendly. Once he found the problem, he fixed it the same day and was in and out within an hour. I will always use Buds Plumbing and I would highly recommend anyone that needs a plumber to use this company.

I was very pleased with Bud’s plumbing for the following reasons:1) Courtesy. The receptionist, Amber, was very good and helpful. She made me feel valued.2) Timely service. I needed same day service. They delivered. This was greatly appreciated given the problem I was having.3) Communication and safety. I received a call 15 minutes before the plumber came. I got a text message with the name, photo and credentials of the plumber coming to my home. We had never used Buds before, but they did a great job. We had to have a kitchen faucet replaced, and the one I bought did not fit. Matt helped me quickly find a different one and made sure that one fit. Amber and Cheryl were both great on the phone scheduling and then were very accommodating when we had to re-schedule. Super clean, shoe covers and everything. I also like the fact that they text you when the plumber is on his way, and even send his picture.

We are so pleased with the service we received with Bud’s Plumbing. This was our first time using Bud’s, and I’m glad I switched from the other company we were using. Night and day difference! Kevin L was our technician, and I can’t thank him enough. What I thought was going to be an easy fix, turned into an all day job, but he was patient and diligent the entire time. Very thorough and caring, especially with him knowing this is our first house and we’re still learning. On top of the project he did for us, he took the time to show me how to service our water heater because he could tell we haven’t ever done it. So appreciative of him and will definitely be calling for him and Bud’s for our next job.

We thought our disposal was broken. Blades weren’t working, and it wasn’t the breaker. We called Bud’s and they had a technician scheduled for the next day! Dillon did a quick inspection and located the problem, having is back up and running in under 5 minutes. He also gave us a tutorial on how to do it ourselves and a free estimate in case we do need to replace later this year. We couldn’t be happier!

They were amazing. They came out at the time they were supposed to. They were real friendly and explained the plan of action and got to work. It was not an easy clog to fix. They thought they had it completed but he said he was not satisfied with the water flow. They kept at it an found another clog and that was when the water flowed perfect. They did not quit at the first sign of success like most others would have and I admire a company that would hire employees with that mentality this day and age. Thank you Bud Plumbing. We will use again in a heartbeat if need be.

I called about 2PM on a Friday afternoon to report a water heater that was not working. The dispatcher said she would try to get a plumber to me today but could not guarantee today. She called back within a half hour and said a plumber was on the way and would be here in 15 minutes. Tyler and his helper diagnosed the problem of as defective gas valve. They went to the supply house and got a new valve under warranty. By 4:30 we had a functioning water heater. Everybody from Buds was great to work with and we are very satisfied with the quick service,GOOD JOB BUDS

A huge thank you to Buds Plumbing for replacing our water heater in a timely and professional manner. I called on a Sunday evening and the phone was answered, notes taken and a promise that a service person would call me back shortly. In about 10 minutes or less, I received a phone call from a plumber and I told him it wasnt an emergency and I just wanted to get it on the schedule ASAP, this gentleman said he would have their scheduler call me in morning. At about 7:30, I received call and an appointment was scheduled. I was told Mike would be doing my service and a text with his picture was sent to confirm. Once Mike arrived, he noticed a gas smell in our utility closed and found a leak at the coupling that went to our furnace. That was repaired without charge and then they replaced our water heater. Mike and Mark were more than willing to answer any questions I had. They were very professional and very good representatives for their company. If I ever need a plumbing services again, Buds will be my first choice.

We cant recommend Buds enough! We found out at 7am that our 20+ year old water heater started leaking, and therefore we needed it replaced ASAP before the bottom gave way. As first time homeowners, we were nervous about the cost of a replacement and how long wed be without hot water. We called at 8, and by 8:30 they were sending someone our way. As of me writing this at noon, they just left after hauling away our old water heater and replaced it with a brand new one. Matt and Jordan were extremely nice, professional, and knowledgeable. They also service the Fort Branch area.Were very grateful for their quick response and installation, and they now have customers for life!10/10!

I called again the next day and Tyler and partner (sorry, can’t remember his name) were sent out. Tyler took care of the problem and took the time to explain everything to me. Called on a Saturday Morning and got the answering service.Got a return call in about 30 minutes following that to see what was needed.Was told that they could be there within a couple of hours.About an hour later got a call from the Plumber that would do the work and said he would be there within 35 minutes.The plumber arrived with a helper in tow. I explained the problem and what I had already tried.... and what I knew about the plumbing.They apprised the situation and created an estimate on his iPad.I agreed with the cost and they got started. The first attempt to snake the drain line didnt produce positive results. So they changed tip on the snake and ran it through the drain line again. This time with positive results.The guys were nice, clean, respectful, diligent in what they were doing.Of course.... knowing it was a Saturday.... I was expecting a higher price.... and it should have been since it was a weekend. And it was.... but they gave me the opportunity to except of deny the estimate at the beginning.So I have no issues with that.I would recommend Buds to anyone needing plumbing work.Thanks
