    Great folks to work with and incredibly professional. We upgraded to a tankless water heater, and the whole process could not have gone any more smoothly. They had the installation done in about two hours, and it looks fantastic! We love the functionality of the tankless system. I highly recommend these people!

    We asked for the earliest install date for a new water heater, and they asked if tomorrow would work. We scheduled for the Friday after Thanksgiving and the total time it took to take out the old water heater and install an identical new one was almost less than one hour. Thanks for the fast service, and we had sent in a ticket through our home warranty for another water line that had burst and was flooding the downstairs, and they are supposed to schedule an appointment starting at 24 hours being the soonest, and they were on site and all done by 10:21am and I sent the ticket in at 5:36am. So less than 5 hours and they were done with our ticket, and they did not even have to schedule us before 24 hours. Thanks for saving the day twice so fast, and we have already ordered another part to be installed on a third item, and we are scheduling for a bid on a big forth item also.

    I was extremely impressed with Altstadt Hoffman Plumbing in Bloomington. Joe Cox’s crew laid a water line from the city main to my house. Everyone knew exactly what to do and worked as a team and accomplished the task in short order. They also were the lowest bidder and do great work. I highly recommend them.

    Andy Watson came to our rescue today. He helped demystify how our sewer line ran, cleared our clog, fixed a seal on one of our toilets and set us up with an estimator to get a clean-out installed.I greatly appreciate his help and all the help and excellent service weve had from Altstadt over the years.

    I would recommend Altstadt plumbing again and again! We’ve had several plumbers out for the same sink issue and clearly it’s still been a problem. The competition never tackled the issue the way this magical man from Alstadt did and he fixed it in no time! That drain has never cleared so fast since we’ve lived here. And since it was hooked to the upstairs sink as well, the upstairs sink is also now draining like a champ. Magical!

    Andy did a marvelous job in completely remodeling our bathroom. The tile work in the walk-in shower was outstanding. Andy coordinated with the other vendors to get the vanity and shower door delivered exactly when needed. I highly recommend Andys craftmanship. I cant say enough on how happy we are with the results of our bathroom remodeling project.

    Nathan and Ian arrived and determined we needed a valve instead of a gauge. Returning after lunch with the correct part they made haste and were finished in a jiffy. Very pleasant felows and answered any questions we had about the job. Will have them return for other plumbing problems.

    We had to replace the main water line going into our building. They came immediately to give a review and quote, quickly got us on the schedule, and came quickly to get the replacement done. The price was not nearly what we feared and when the work was done, there were no last minute surprises. Thank you to Paul and Darien for doing such an amazing job and being cognizant of the needs to get water back to the building as quickly and safely as possible. They were friendly, easy to work with, and worked safely and efficiently. Cutting up sidewalk and digging down to those pipes was not an easy job, but they did it like the champs they are. Attached are photos of the pipe in question that was ready to burst at any time and the initial hole...they had to dig out even more after that. The area was blocked to keep people from walking near the hole and the hole was quickly filled in a few days later and looks great (sorry, no picture). Thank you so much to Altstadt Hoffman Plumbing. VERY happy with our service.

    I called Alstadt after a recommendation from a friend to deal with some plumbing issues and to install a new kitchen faucet. The man they sent, I believe his name was Dakota, was great. He called when he was on his way, he was personable, efficient, his work was clean and neat. He identified a future potential problem(corrosion on a pipe fitting) and took care of that too. Overall it was a very good experience. I highly recommend Alstadt plumbing.

    I got a new hot water heater installed on 5/23/22. I have used them in the past and they did very good work. They responded the same day when I told them my hot water heater was out. The service person was very nice and polite. The next day I had to relight my pilot light. 3 days later I had to relight it again. It continued to be a problem. After some miscommunication with my phone number and me sending an email. They came and fixed the problem. The service technician even took the time to explain what he fixed and reminded me that it came with a warranty and that nothing brand new should have that many problems.

    Called in for an emergency after hours clog and they sent out 2 vans that night and 2 technicians diagnosed the problem after heavy rains and checked 2 lines and unclogged both and you could hear all the water draining from the rest of the house when the line was cleared. Thanks for your help And they also made suggestions for the future since our area has problems with the water drainage all down the whole street. Thanks Again

    We had an unfortunate event with a set of keys getting flushed. The keys went passed the toilet trap and our guy went under our duplex, located and retrieved our keys!     Excellent service!! We had an emergency plumbing problem. I called three different places that night and Altstadt was the fastest to respond. They guy who came out that night was super friendly and made sure he wore his mask the entire time,. He was very thorough and professional. Our problem couldnt be fixed that same night so he caped off the water lines to the shower, it so that we could turn our water back on. They came back out another day and had to replace our values in our shower wall and put in a new faucet. They cleaned up their mess and everything. We are very satisfied and I would definitely call them again with any plumping needs.

    Called needing a diagnosis on whether a leak was coming from our old fridge or the water line going into the fridge. Turns out it was in fact our old fridge. The plumber was able to hook the line into our new fridge without issues. (This was all after Buds plumbing came out and told us there was nothing they could do to stop the leaking and giving us a quote ($2100-$5400). I would recommend Altstadt to someone over Buds plumbing ANY DAY! We will be using Altstadt for all future needs!

    Randy came to my house and found problem right away after 3 other plumbers did not. He knows exactly what hes doing and should be in charge. One of the other plumbers works at altstadt and didnt find the problem and didnt do anything. Resulting in flooded basement over and over. Mold and carpet ruined and new carpet and walls replaced. If they had sent Randy to begin with we would have saved lots money, time and headache. He was just amazing and professional friendly and knows hes work. Highly recommend this company but ask for Randy to come to assure you get a great plumber. Was very impressed! He deserves something big for this. Thank you again Randy! Great Job!

    Had a very small (for them, not for me) job to do and asked for an estimate, which they provided quickly and at no charge. I approved the estimate and they came out and did the work the next day. The work was done correctly and quickly and when the bill came I found no surprises.I wish more local contractors were as diligent and efficient as A-H Plumbing.

    Before calling Alstadt I had reached out to several different plumbing companies to assist with a sewage issue at my place of employment. I was told by multiple companies that nothing could be done as there was not an issue. This morning Andy and his crew came out to to assess this issue and were fantastic. Excellent customer service.     On a septic system and the drains kept backing up. 2 other companies came and just pumped the tank and cleared an obstruction in the input side of the tank. First time that lasted just 3-4 weeks, then the second company did the same thing, same result. I had a back up again and was able to get Altstadt Hoffman to my house at 700 PM on a Friday night, those 2 men suggested I have someone from their company come with a camera to see what was really wrong. They didnt pump the tank, just got rid of the obstruction. In light of the current world situation, I waited a few days, and called and Travis came out, the drain was backed up again. He looked over the situation, and asked if he could dig a hole in my yard and fix the problem. Heck yes! He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and hard working. He fixed the problem, and said I should have some more work done in a year or year and a half - guess who I am going to call!. I cant say enough about their professionalism, thoroughness and knowledge of septic systems.

    Andy was quick to arrive to our house when we had a problem with sewer drainage line backing up. He was very professional and listened to the problem and what I had tried to fix it.     Great service. I called this morning to see if they could fix a busted pipe in a slab foundation. They sent two great guys about an hour after I called. It was a tricky one but they guys ended up finding the leaking pipe behind my vanity and not in the foundation. They got to work right away and fix it right up. Theses young guys were very professional and personable. I would recommend Altstadt to anyone.

    I had a main line plumbing back up with water coming back up in to my shower. They came out and were able to identify the problem in minutes, and found a access point immediately. They were very professional and did a very thorough job. Couldnt have asked for better or faster service. If you have a back up or plumbing issue I recommend giving them a call! Very affordable pricing as well!!

    Some of my outdoor faucets were frozen and had me really nervous that my water lines would burst. I called Hoffman Plumbing, they gave me some tips and were able to come out in the same week to get them replaced! Scheduled an 8AM appointment; on the day of they called when they were 10mins away and were even early. Jeremy was great, explained all the work he did and answered all my questions! I will be using Hoffman Plumbing again for my future plumbing needs.

    Hoffman Plumbing are the only plumbers I have used the last few years. Theyve unplugged my sinks and showers before. This visit they replaced a leaking pipe behind my kitchen sink and a leaking pipe from my bathtub. No wait for an appointment, very professional and helpful, very affordable as well.     After having called Altstadt Plumbing for some minor plumbing repairs in April of 2013 and being very pleased with their punctuality, professionalism and the quality of work, I again called them near the end of 2014 on a much bigger project involving removal of an existing tub/shower surround and replacing it with a tiled walk-in shower. Dave walked me through the process and thoroughly answered my questions from the start. Actual work was scheduled for the beginning of January, 2015. The job was done first-class and on time, exactly as planned. Andy E. oversaw the project and did the bulk of the work. I was very pleased with all the work done and the finished product which is awesome!! Even better than I envisioned! I highly recommend Altstadt Plumbing and their workers to anyone planning a bathroom remodeling. You can tell these people take pride in their work. A great bunch of guys who take care of all the details, consistently clean up the work area as they go, and get the job done on time.

    I have used Altstadt Plumbing a number times in two different homes ranging from the most routine issues to weekend emergency calls when a pipe broke. They have conducted various repairs and installations as well as being able to locate and repaired a leak in my pool.In each instance they have responded quickly and then provided professional and effective service.     Altstadt cleared out tree roots in nearly every pipe in our houses entire plumbing system when 2 other plumbers (each coming 2 times) could not. We dealt with laundry issues for over 2 years, but Altstadt showed up (horrified that wed had to deal with it for that long!) and promised that that would be the last day wed ever have to take an entire day to do one load of laundry. They were right! Professional, diligent, friendly, and reasonably priced. We hope to never need them again but if we do have plumbing problems in the future, we will be calling Altstadt!

    Altstadt Andy came with a snake and I told him thats not going to work because I had another company and they had told me I was going to have serious repair to get my sink unclogged .
