Called to have my ceiling fan/light fixture looked at. They were upfront and very transparent about pricing over the phone, was able to schedule next day, but I asked for 2 days out (my day off) everywhere else was at least 1 week or more out.The repair person Joe, was nice, friendly, professional, honest and I couldn’t have asked for a better repair person.He was able to figure out the problem rather quickly and explain it. He asked if I understood what he was explaining since the terminology isn’t normal for most people, he asked if I had additional questions which I actually did. Time to fix was quick and efficient!I can’t say enough good things! I had never heard of the company before, and went out on a whim because I wanted this fixed asap! I now will use them for anything I need in the future. I highly recommend based on the value, pricing, and the professionalism!

Excellent service! I had called two other places (Josh Lamb & Boyd Electric) and left message twice but didnt even get a call back. Sims actually has a live person answering the phone! The service call fee was very reasonable and I had an electrician scheduled within two days. Joseph Howard Jr. was prompt, professional & very knowledgeable. My dryer wasnt heating & the dryer repair man said the problem was electrical between the dryer and the electrical box. It turned out to be the breaker. Luckily Joseph had one on the truck and had me up and running within about 20 minutes. I will definitely call Sims for all my electrical and plumbing issues in the future.

These guys are awesome! Joe Howard was so professional and knowledgeable. I called the company at around 11am and Joe was at our house by 1pm. We had another company out a few days earlier and although they said they were familiar with sewer pumps, they couldnt locate the reason for the alarm. Joe knew what the problem was right away and it fixed and we were up and running in under two hours! Joe took the time to explain everything and show me what they problem was and how he fixed it. He answered all my questions and was extremely professional and polite. I would definitely recommend these guys to everyone I know! The pricing was extremely fair as well! They are licensed and bonded too, so if youre looking for a knowledgeable, professional, reliable company, Sims is the one to call!

I needed 3 weather tight outlets ran from the breaker box to my deck all ran in conduit. The crew from sims was here about 9am and was done about 3pm. They kept me informed of the progress and when they left and returned from lunch. I inspected the work upon completion and i looks good and is attached securely. I was informed of what work needed to be done to install an EV charger for my truck. The following day I was sent an estimate via email. I accepted and we set a date for the work to begin. Awesome and professional work done by Sims electricians. Upgraded to a 200 amp service. Changed out the old fuse panel for a 32 slot breaker panel and installed a new roof mounted weather head which replaced the old janky one mounted to the brick wall.Overall very satisfied and will be a high reward long term investment.

I queried Home Advisor about electricians in my area and Sims was the first on the list. Provided my info and within a short time received a call from the company. We spoke of my needs and made an appointment for the following afternoon. Travis and another electrician (whose name I have regrettably forgotten) arrived 30 minutes early and went right to work. I needed a GFCI and four outlets installed in a new kitchen in my basement, but first they had to trace why the line feeding those outlets was dead. They quickly traced the problem, corrected it, then installed and tested all the outlets. They worked quickly, purposefully, and were of good cheer throughout, joking with each other as they worked. All of that was important to me. Sometimes skilled workmen can come off as distant and condescending when working with or for those of us who are unskilled and that leaves a bad taste. Much appreciated was that they demonstrated the skills required for their positions, worked quickly to complete their tasks, treated me with respect at all times, and were conscientious in their work. I felt we were three people working together to resolve a situation and each respected the other. Their workmanship was excellent, their prices fair, and Id recommend them and would use them again. Job well done.

The crews are very polite and professional in their work, cleaned up after the work was done and explained what was done and inspection of work after completion. Sims was knowledgeable, fairly priced, arrived on time, the final cost of job was the same as the quote even though a little additional work was required, and the job site was left clean. We will definitely call Sims Electric again next time we are in need of electrical work.
