Being my first time hiring a plumber, I was very happy to see how kind and respectful Gabriel was when working at my home. He was even friendly with my dog. Gabriel was able to identify the issue I was facing very quickly, and offered me multiple solutions to fix the problem. He found the most cost effective solution, and was able to complete the appointment in less than an hour. I am very pleased with the efficiency and quality of the services provided.

Ive had the Summers heating, cooling, and plumbing plan for about a year now after I called them to replace my water heater. Their work is always excellent and take the extra time with the customers to make sure that we know exactly what is going on. Ive never had any problems with their techs and most recently, Josh W did a great job on my furnace tune-up. They are respectful of property and have always been timely for my appointments. I recommend!

11-26-2024 Nathan did a fantastic job and fixed my plumbing problem so quickly. He was incredibly helpful and we will ask for him by name the next time we need help with our plumbing.12-12-2024 Josh Wiggins did a great job with my furnace for its annual maintenance and cleaning. He also gave me a tip to schedule my air conditioning maintenance for the spring now. So I made an appointment to have Summers come out this spring.

This is a fantastic organization. Josh did a wonderful job. He’s the man. We’ve dealt with some of the other popular AC companies in the area and really struggled. Josh came out right away, didn’t try to upsell us. This is just a very rare find and we will definitely use them in the future. Can’t recommend them high enough!

Gabe was awesome! Had hardly any problems with summers.. my only complaint would be the communication.. Only saying that because i rescheduled an install and they still called to show up on the original scheduled date and knew nothing about my rescheduling.. Other than that.. work was great, Gabe worked till 830pm on my install and it turned out awesome! 100% recommend..

The service was excellent. Nathan turned what I feared would be a HUGE basement ceiling repair into a small access panel that makes cut off valves easily accessible. His expertise saved us hundres of dollars in cosmetic repairs not to mention the thousands of dollars of expense if the frozen pipe had burst, which surely would have happened when the tempatures began to drop. Friends have teased me for singing your praises because I have the same last name, but they now know to call because excellence is excellence. Thank you!

Was very polite, got here on time when he said. They keep in touch by text when they will be there. Came that day I called, seen what he needed to do, went and got the parts. It was quite a project took him about 4 hours to repair. But it looks good and everything is working. They even have a savings program you can get, saves you money. Very good job.

Outstanding service, from the person who set up the appointment to the serviceman, Nathan, who took care of the clogged sink. And the way Nathan cleaned up under the sink was really appreciated; he even wiped down the cabinet doors! I called for a drain that had been slowly stopping up for awhile. Gabriel Sholty was so nice to meet. He was professional and very courteous. When he was done, he showed me what he did, how well the sink drained, and told me how to help keep it clean. He told me about a club they have, but did not pressure me on anything. He knew how to do this job, and was fairly quick about it. Also Charity, who took my call, told me how to look up to see if there was a savings coupon. I hope all the plumbers they have are as courteous. I will need to call in the future for a shower head repair. Thank you Charity and Gabriel.

Eric did a great job. Explained the situation to him, and he thoroughly tested everything, before topping off our refirgerant. Explained the pros and cons of the system that we had installed last year. Did not beat around the bush, nor hold back. Was professional, but personable. Best tech Ive ever had dealing with this issue. If we ever need Summers again we will request him as the technician who comes out.

I originally gave this company 2 stars because I felt the bill I received didn’t warrant the work that was done. The day after my original review the GM reached out to me via call and text want to discuss my situation. I called back a few days later because I was still aggravated by my previous experience. After talking to him he admitted that the price for the work that was done was incorrect. After working a few things out we came to an agreement and settled on what I thought was very fair. I felt I needed to rewrite this review because I’m all for a company willing to reevaluate situations on the fly and making adjustments as needed. I will say that every interaction whether on the phone or in person has been very positive.

We just moved to South Bend and Gabrielle from Summers in Elkhart was an absolute angel. He helped us get a clog fixed quickly so we could install our water softener. He explained the repair in understandable terms. Based entirely on Gabriel’s professional approach, I signed up for a Summers membership and let Gabriel put a sign in the yard. Joshua Wiggins and Erik Bidwell were wonderful today.Joshua determined that our AC unit is beginning to fail during our routine maintenance we get and set up an appointment with Erik after showing me his data proven diagnosis. He was professional and detailed when explaining what is happening, why it’s happening, what will happen in the near future, and what needs to happen because of all of it.Erik was to the point, up front, honest, and very pleasant to talk to about pricing options and financing, and was very polite not only to myself, but our animals as well. I received a comprehensive breakdown of everything from the unit to payment/financing costs, information about everything mentioned, and he was detailed when answering my questions and addressing my concerns. He even had a detailed book with illustrations and information explaining details regarding everything relevant to the work needing done.Summers has been wonderful to have servicing our plumbing, heating, and cooling these last couple of years. While their prices may be a bit higher than other companies, the quality of their work and their guarantees, as well as the services they offer (routine maintenance, emergency calls, etc.) make it difficult to consider competing businesses.

Woke up this morning with no A/C. Started making calls, got put on hold for over 6 minutes with 2 of the local contractors you see on TV ads. Summers not only stayed on the phone but had Josh at my house within an hour and a half.He was uttterly professional and friendly. He could have easily sold me a brand new unit but instead educated me that despite my condensers 22 year old age it was a good unit. He replaced the capacitor, took the unit apart and cleaned it. Boom! A/C all good. I also signed up for the $12 a month service agreement which provides more services and guarantees than I can describe.Suffice it to say Im thrilled with both the tech and the company

Summers resolved my AC problem quickly and efficiently. They sent a technician out the same day I called. He figured out that a mouse had chewed into the wires on the outdoor unit and he had the wires repaired and our AC back up and running within a few hours. The cost was reasonable and I am happy with the work that was done for the price. The branch manager called me to make sure the problem had been resolved and gave me some tips for keeping future mice away (e.g., placing moth balls inside the unit). I recommend using Summers.

The expirenences I have had with Summers made me encourage my son to go to college for HVAC (which he is in now). Gary was my technician today. I’ve had Summers out twice for a pipe leak. Once last year and once this year. Jeremy and Travis are awesome! Both times it was an easy fix- nothing crazy. We did have a pipe replaced earlier this year. I also use Summers for furnace and ac tune ups and I have not been disappointed in the service that I’ve received. In the membership they offer they include plumbing inspections as well. Mine is scheduled for next week. I have never had a bad experience with this company. They are all extremely professional, personable and give their full attention to concerns. I recommend them to everybody that has a plumbing or hvac issue. I don’t leave reviews for companies very often- I’ve left reviews for 3 companies total which includes Summers. This is the second review I’ve left for this company so hopefully anyone reading this that’s looking for a company that wants their concerns taken into consideration and is wanting a company that is professional, reasonably priced and people who take pride in what they do, use Summers! I’ve used other companies before but they don’t compare to Summers.

We discovered Summers Heating and Cooling of Elkhart in an emergency situation, and we were happy we did! It started with a critical furnace problem that was fixed by a cheerful Tim at two a.m. in the middle of a weekend blizzard!! Then we needed a plumbing visit, which was painless and efficient, after that it was on to our regular AC maintenance this spring. Eric Bidwell explained the ABCs of BTUs and we decided our ancient unit needed to be replaced. Less than a week later, Jared and Austin showed up to fix us up and we are ready for summer. The team explains what they are doing, offer great advice about how to get the most out of your system, and are punctual and friendly. It is obvious they love what they are doing, and if I could give them more stars, I would. I highly recommend them!
