Great service and experience! We had some root damage to our main sewer line which caused a backup in our basement. I had multiple plumbers come out to give quotes. Some wanted to dig up our yard and replace the entire line ($$$) while others wanted to charge an arm and a leg.Halpin came out and walked me through exactly what was going on with our line via video. Geoff and his team gave a thorough overview and recommendation with next steps (at a fraction of other quotes). His team was able to clear our the roots in our line and install a liner to prevent future growth. They were in and out in one day and resolved our issue. Cant recommend these guys enough! While I didn’t get to use Halpin exactly, this review is about who they really are as a company. I called desperately after another plumber didn’t show after telling me for a week they would be there during my daughter’s rehab of her recently purchased home. In construction that happens, but unfortunately, my daughter has to move within a short timeline and the plumber not showing disrupted the entire timeline of the bathroom tile work as well as having floors refinished. For anyone who not familiar, it takes approximately 5-6 days to sand, stain, and coat the floor with two coats of poly before you can walk on it and furniture can be placed on it. The bath plumbing wasn’t a small job like installing a faucet. It was installing every bit of waterline, toilet drains, and venting for the bathroom as well as the tub. The critical piece, however, was installing the tub so floor tile could be placed. My regular plumber office said that they did not install tubs which was incorrect (this was why we hired the no-show plumbing company in the first place). So here is where Halpin comes in. Alisha, the receptionist answered the phone, kindly listened to me explain everything that was going on. She put me on her standby list to have a plumber come out. Luke arrived and was willing to place the tub but his schedule did not allow for the excess plumbing work that had to be done. But he offered solutions saying if there was another plumber that could run the water, he could install the tub. The difficulty of installing a tub without installing the plumbing, without installing the drain, and without having to remove the tub for access to the plumb underneath is kind of a nightmare but they were willing to try.Luke said he could install tub if my other plumber would do rest of plumbing. I said that I could have my regular plumber there within 30 minutes and Luke said they could wait to discuss what would be the best course with him. Turns out my plumber’s office was wrong and my plumber can install tubs. He discussed the job with Luke even though my plumber is capable. It’s was obvious that Luke from Halpin is as well. There was no competition and, in the end, while my plumber did the work Halpin was there as a “port in the storm” of construction. The kindness both Alisha and Luke exhibited was above and beyond and their collaboration with my regular plumber was so professional. If my plumber is never available, Halpin will definitely be my go to. Professionalism, courtesy, kindness, and skilled problem solvers. I wouldn’t hesitate to do business with them! Outstanding work. Christian replaced an outdoor faucet where another plumbing company said it couldnt be done. Both the estimate and scheduled work were done very quickly and priced fair. I have had a persistent problem with my main drain since I bought my house 3+ years ago. It was discovered that there were 7-10 pieces of long cable stuck in the drain causing serious backup issues. I consulted with several other plumbing companies and they all quoted me for excavation (upwards of $10K) to solve the problem. Halpin Plumbing was able to get the cables out of my main without any excavation and saved me thousands of dollars and so much mental and financial stress. Geoff and Caleb were right on time and so kind and courteous. The plumbers at Halpin are thorough, diligent, and highly skilled. They had creative solutions and made sure there was nothing left behind and showed me camera footage for piece of mind. Everything is looking and functioning so much better! If youre looking for a plumbing company, Halpin is the way to go.

Top notch business. We had had heavy rain for several days and the basement flooded. I call Halpin and immediately got an appointment. My technician (Luke) arrived on time.He explained the methods of fixing the problem, he also showed me the problem and fixed it (without much drain to the wallet). He pointed out the good parts of my system, some watch outs, and gave recommendations on how to minimize future problems. This was my first experience with Halpin an d I know they will be my first call again.

They came out the same day for an estimate and within 2 days to do the job. The price they offered for the job was $3,000 less than the competitors to install my new tankless hot water heater, all of the lines, and removing the old pipes and hot water heater. When Duke Energy discovered a gas leak in our basement we immediately called Halpin. Since our house is over 100 years old, there was no easy fix for this problem. Mike Nimitz quickly came up with a plan to replace our outdated black iron pipes. They started working immediately, gathered all the materials and tools they needed and finished much faster than we expected. Their work is always excellent and we highly recommend them!

I had a great experience getting Halpin Plumbing to fix several problems for me. Overall, my plumbers Mike N and Trey were always on time, very courteous, and clean throughout the course of 4 different work sessions. I appreciated that Mike explained what he was doing and why so that I could better understand the problems. My house is 115 yrs old so there’s a lot going on.1. Gas line repair and replacement. I had a gas leak, called Duke Energy, and they shut off the gas to my house and told me to get the leaks fixed. Mike repaired about half of the line and then replaced the other half with flexible gas pipe. He tested the system to ensure it could hold 15 psi, and explained to me the normal pressure for natural gas is more like 1.5 psi. When the Duke guy came back to turn the gas on he tested the system to 7.5 psi and it held successfully. Overall a lot of work (2 days) and more expensive than anticipated but they left my pipes in a solid spot and fixed the gas leak, which I had no way around.2. Main basement sewer line hydrojetting. I had my utility sink in the basement overflowing whenever I ran the washing machine. They scoped the main sewer line and found about 15 feet of sludge/grease blocking up the pipes in that area. I especially appreciated seeing the video from the scope. They send coupons in the mail so this scope service (normally $300+) was free with the coupon. They came back the next week and hydrojetted the pipe and showed me the video of the newly cleaned pipe. They also explained the volume of water (80 gall) that they had pumped through it to ensure it had cleared all the way down to the street sewer.Overall, I’ll use them again. I dont know how they compare price-wise, but I appreciated their ability to explain the problems and their approaches to addressing them. They have good equipment also to test and prove that they have resolved the issues.-Chris W

Really timely and thorough service by Larry! After calling Halpin Plumbing they politely relayed that couldn’t guarantee a time the same day but told me they’ll let me know if any avaialbilities do free up, and fortunately I was actually able to have Larry come within 30 min of me calling. He fixed the pipe of my shower spout efficiently after taking the time to explain the alternative options, and gave me agency to pick what I wanted without me feeling any pressure. I was able to have all my questions answered to better understand the risks and benefits of each option, and he patiently addressed them all. He also helped with some other aspects of my main issue without charging extra, and ultimately the price was quite reasonable especially for my problem to be resolved within a total of 1.5 hours of me seeking help. Some of the plumbing work was during a time of major renovation at my home, and other work has been more routine, such as the annual all-house review of the plumbing. The plumbers have all been thoughtful, pleasant, and highly skilled individuals; if they are training someone, the trainee works with a seasoned plumber.They have very responsive customer service. I purchase a customer service benefits package that offers some extra benefits, including prompt service scheduling. If I have any questions or concerns about the work, they are also quick to respond by email or by phone. They always make courtesy calls or send texts to let me know when someone is on the way.Where relevant, they will often give me some options regarding repairs or answer questions about the urgency and seriousness of a particular problem. They are not inexpensive, but one can be confident that the work is performed professionally and thoroughly. If there are ever any issues with a repair, they will return promptly to remedy the matter. The repairs they have made, and installations completed, have all stood the test of time.A while ago, I had sewer line repairs completed (private house line), through the installation of trenchless liners. Halpin worked very patiently with me to arrive at an acceptable contract for this work, offered me a detailed schedule of what to expect each day (including periods where the water and fixtures could not be used), and Geoff gave meticulous attention to the discussing the details regarding the liner installation process, to various concerns I had, including protecting against odors in the home from the installation process. Geoff and his assistants - Kyle & Kyle - continued to offer exceptional considerateness and attention to detail throughout the process of installation. There was an unexpected issue with one section of my line, and Geoff offered me several alternative solutions to this problem. He is very resourceful and creative, and admirably calm in dealing with all of these unexpected events that arise.I have experienced the work of several different plumbers from Halpin for various projects. Recently, Mike and Larry have done significant work in my home with the help of various assistants.Mike was here earlier this year and installed some new shower and bathroom fixtures. These were planned installations. Halpin patiently helped me with what turned out to be a lengthy process of ordering and waiting for some parts to be manufactured. Sarah, in their offices, kept me notified regarding the status of the order, and is always very patient and careful with the details of the work agreement. Before Mike installed the fixtures, he carefully laid the pieces out and showed them to me, to ensure that everything was what I ordered, and to my satisfaction. Mike and the other plumbers who have worked here always seem able to creatively respond to unexpected problems that arise while doing the work.Recently, Larry was here for my annual all-house plumbing inspection which included maintenance/flushing out the water heater. And the driveway drain was cleaned out. Gas lines were checked, and one gas line was capped off as part of replacing a gas stove with an electric range. All of the work was performed with Halpins usual carefulness.Halpin also offers emergency services on the rare occasion when there is a plumbing emergency. Tonight was one of those occasions, where I found a mess in a basement bathroom, caused by a small leak due to a bad part. Luke accurately assessed the cause of the leak and made a careful repair. He also cheerfully assisted with some initial clean-up of the mess.In addition to consistently excellent work, there is always a great deal of consideration for my home. I have found them to be trustworthy, pleasant people to have working in my home. I never have felt the need to call on another plumber. This is a professional, highly skilled, and reliable company. We have used Halpin’s many times before and always receive fantastic service. Most recent need for Halpin’s was due to a clogged toilet/possible pipe freeze during the recent subzero weather. Geoff and a colleague came by promptly and fixed the issue. They explained everything they were going to look at and possible issues. At the end they explained what they did and how to possibly avoid future issues. On top of being timely and knowledgeable they were also friendly and very clean (they wore shoe coverings) and removed when going into unfinished basement to prevent covering tracking any dirt upstairs on carpet. As always very pleased and will continue to use in future.

This was my first time using Halpin Plumbing. It was so easy to get on their schedule AND they texted a photo and name of the person they were sending. I’m a stay at home mom and it’s invaluable and comforting when a company sends info like that ahead of a service call. AJ arrived on time and was an all around great guy (and very tolerable of my ever present toddlers and interruptions) and did honest work. He gave me straight forward info and outlined my options on replacement vs repair of faucet. Even showed me how to adjust the temp on the hot water heater! He also fixed our nightmare of a tub drain. The price was extremely fair and I will totally call them again.

Halpin Plumbing does not disappoint! I have an older home and have had plumbing issues from time to time.This time the downspout came loose from the adapter. (FYI my internet “research” said that with older homes the ground may shift over time causing the adapter to separate from the downspout.) I called Halpin and Luke W. was assigned to the case. Luke was fantastic! He asked a few questions and then offered a couple options. I decided to go with a simple adjustment first.Halpin is my go-to plumber!

Luke also noted several additional items related to my water heater that may need addressing in the short term and he explained why in a very easy to understand way. I had a water main emergency at a home I was inspecting. The water main broke and we were in a panic. Not knowing what to do, one of my collegues said to call Halpin plumbing since he know of them. Believe it or not, they had a technician in the area, about 20 minutes away and he was sent right over. The technician was very pleasant and professional. Although there not much he could do at the time, his advice and analysis was worth the trip. Thank you for you quick reponse.

Halpin Plumbing does things the right way! From calling and speaking with Lindsey to having Larry and Pedro at our home to fix a sewer pipe in our basement - their customer service is top notch. We had a alarmingly high water pressure problem in our home (our other recently used plumber hadn’t bothered to check) and Halpin was able to respond quickly. Our technician, Luke W., was so competent and polite…I was really impressed. When he and his partner left, I told them not to ever leave Halpin because they were now my go-to guys from here on out. I’d give them 6 stars if I could.
