Rusty came out to scope our drain/sewer lines to determine where and why we were having problems. He did a terrific job mapping out our system (much different than we thought) and determined what was causing the back ups. He didn’t charge us anything to for the work, video file or the new brass clean out cap needed to replace the PVC one we had. Knowledgeable, professional, on time and courteous. What more can you ask of a service provider? We are having the company come back to fix our issue because of the fine experience we had with Rusty.

I called CME to get a branch out of my sewer line that was discovered by a scope performed during the home inspection for the sale of our home. I explained the urgency of getting it done before closing scheduled in 3 days. Craig and Josh arrived the next morning, and explained what they were going to do and what different things they could try, if needed. They came prepared with all the equipment that they might possibly need The job took several attempts and different tactics, but they would not quit until they had the pipe cleared. We could not recommend CME enough! We chose CME because of how great the reviews are, and they did not disappoint. They just came out this morning and jetted as well as camera inspected our sewer line. After a year of issues with our old clay pipes we were completely prepared to hear we had a collapsed pipe, only to find out it was just roots and our pipes were in great condition! They provided a competitive estimate for lining in the future as well. They were super kind, knowledgeable, and fast to fix our problem. We will be using them again in the future!

CME Sewer Repair is passionate about installing sewer linings and providing good service to customers. When Jake came out to my home, he impressed me with his vast knowledge of plumbing and sewers. He explained the process of trenchless sewer repair in depth, and after putting a camera through the line, honestly discussed the various repair options available to me along with the benefits and drawbacks of each one. He was happy to answer all of my questions and showed me samples of the materials they would use. After researching various companies and types of sewer repairs and getting several quotes, it became clear that CMEs bid offered the best repair solution and was the most cost effective for me.I received quick responses and good communication from CME office staff. Once the work had begun, the installers kept me informed of their progress and they were great about answering my questions.The crew was on time and was very respectful toward me and my home. They put down drop cloths through the hallway, carefully carried machinery to the basement, and worked efficiently. They left my house neat and clean. At the end of the installation, the crew leader told me with a smile, “It never gets old - I love doing this. Enjoy your new sewer!” I appreciate CME’s dedication. What a relief it is that I no longer have to worry about roots clogging my sewer line.

We’ve been in a sewer nightmare for almost a month. What started as a small sewer backup in our basement revealed 99 year old clay pipes that were severely offset, disconnected, and cracked. Because of their age and damage it caused an 8 ft clog underneath our house and front yard. It took two different plumbers to unclog and jet the clay pipes to discover this issue. Then the overwhelming quotes and proposals starting coming in. The second plumber wanted to call duke out that day for an “emergency” dig to have them mark the gas lines so they could dig up our entire front yard, and basement for $25k. He was really pushy that we do this immediately. We pressed pause and called in a third plumber. Still $25k but they mentioned that in the dig our entire front porch would be destroyed and those costs would be on us. Pause. Forth plumber came out, said similar things but said he would recommend relining and that they could do it but he directed us to Jason at CME and said they were the experts in lining. Jason called us the very next day and came to inspect our home. Not only was using CME the most cost effective option, they were very knowledgeable in their inspection and told us they could reline without issue at under $20k, saving our front yard, basement and porch from total destruction. While this was still an extremely costly procedure their team was nothing short of professional, timely, informative and kind, before, during and after the process. Please, please, please do your homework and get multiple quotes and opinions or just go straight to CME and trust that they’re going to do the job well.

I live in a 65 year old home, in an area where tree roots have been an issue in all the years Ive lived here. Id had my sewer line augered 12 times. There hadnt been any issues for a few years, but I wanted to have it inspected. I had CME come out for a camera inspection. Tree roots were once again an issue along with misalignment. Many homes on my street have dug up their yards for sewer line replacement and repair, and I just didnt want the mess. I requested to have pipe lining to be done from the inside instead. CME sent out Vic, Ed, Blake, and James out to do the job and they were masterful. A courteous group who took the work seriously, leaving me very impressed. I cant say enough about the great job they did.

Vic and his team here in Cincinnati did a great job lining our sewer line. It was a tough 2 day job, but they did worked hard and kept us informed every step of the way. We hit a few challenges, as can be expected with old pipes, but they fought through and have us taken care of. Im glad I wont have to worry about sewer line backups any longer, and know who to refer any friends or neighbors who have similar issues that we had!

In March 2023 my mothers home in Hamilton experienced a sewage backup causing a flood in her basement. Jake came out and assessed the situation, recommending a hydro-flush and scope. The crew came and flushed the line a few days later, and determined that the problem existed near the connection to the city sewer line. Rather than insist on immediately scheduling a costly repair, CME provided me with a video link and contact information for the city of Hamilton sewer department, recommending that we first see if they city would repair it at their expense. Five weeks later a city crew came and took care of the problem for my mother and she has been problem-free since. Jakes expertise, contacts, and honesty enabled my mother to get her problem solved at minimal expense.

He explained every step of the process and what steps were needed next. He truly went above and beyond and helped even get rid of the destroyed carpet, so thankful for him and his kindness during a terrible time. He explained how to prevent the backup from happening again and the reasoning behind each part of the quote for recommended services.

My last review wasnt showing publicly, so trying again.If you need a trenchless sewer repair/replacement, either lining or pipe bursting, look no further than CME.Our sewer line had broken and collapsed in several locations, with significant root intrusion. Making it worse, the ~11 deep line runs directly under our front porch, walkway, and driveway for 80+ feet, making excavation untenable.I had 7 companies out to take a look provide quotes. Several of the companies admitted that they dont do trenchless work and subcontract through CME. Other companies offered to tear out my entire yard, patio, walk, and driveway. Others didnt even try to scope our line to perform an independent evaluation.When Jason with CME came out, it was clear they were the right fit for the job. They far and away offered the best value estimate for pipe bursting. They were also able to get us scheduled less than a week from the first visit.The final solution and product was better than expected. They were able to excavate a small hole in the basement floor and another near the street curb, avoiding damage to almost all of our yard. Jason personally spent 10+ hours and tried many methods to fish the pull-cable through collapsed sections of pipe to avoid needing to tear out our driveway.They also hauled away all of the spoils and backfilled with crushed rock (plus 1-2 feet of topsoil) so that we wouldnt need to wait several months for the hole to naturally settle.Great work CME and special thanks to Jason. Recommend asking for Jason specifically if you have CME out.In summary... best value, most knowledgeable, best crew, all around great experience. Will be having them back out to descale the cast iron sewer line under our basement slab.

My first contact with CME was with Alan Craig who did a thorough inspection of our sewer and found a broken pipe that was not repairable using excavation. Alan completely and very professionally inspected the system by camera, explained the proposed repair in detail and sent me a proposal. I then worked with both Lindsey and Rachel in accepting the proposal and scheduling, again a good experience. Craig, John, Mike and Charlie were the team making the repair, all of which were very professional, working steadily with little lost motion or wasted steps. Each knew exactly what to do and when to do it, working together like clockwork. They all were very personable and answered my many questions along the way -- its a very impressive operation. They showed up early and took no cell phone breaks during the job! Craig runs a tight ship!I found the entire experience very positive and professional, the job went exactly as Alan had described, the office staff was always right-on, even sending me copies of the before and after camera videos. The installation crew was exceptional; its good to see a well organized and detail oriented operation, not always the case today. And a comment on the well maintained and clean looking equipment and personel -- I always find how the workers and equipment look is an indication of the quality of work that can be expected.My hats off to Chuck and his operation and all the staff, thanks for a very positive experience. After having been told our pipe was broken and needed to be dug up and a section replaced by a different plumbing company, we were ready to spend $3000.00 initially because they said it could cost more than the quoted $3000 if more damage was revealed once they dig up the pipe. After talking to my neighbor and a friend who used this other company for the same issue we were having and were told that they were very unhappy with the service from this other company (I wont name them, but be warned and just be careful who you use) we were feeling very concerned. Our one friend was quoted $21,000 to continue fixing her pipe as they found more damage once they had her lawn all dug up... she approached her insurance company to see if they would cover some of the cost to continue the work. The insurance company suggested she first call CME Pipe Lining which she did. Needless to say it was quickly resolved when CME came along with a fraction of the price and did an incredible job. Thanks to my two friends, I cancelled the first plumbing company and called CME. They fixed the plumbing without digging up the pipe. At each joint of the clay pipe, a gnarly tangle of roots had made their way into the joints... basically the length of the pipe was invaded by roots at each joint. CME cleared the roots and jet washed the pipe. The whole process was far less expensive!! The crew were friendly, timely, professional and even recorded the camera live feed to play back for us to see what they did. I am going to tell everyone I know who needs sewer pipes and blocked drains cleared to save themselves time and money and call CME

I am so grateful that we stumbled upon CME. We were told by another company that we would need to hydrojet our pipes in order to fix our issue. The company quoted us thousands of dollars. Based on the quote, we thought we were going to be out of luck but decided to call another company to get another quote. CME sent Jason out that day and within 20 minutes on the job, he had the issue resolved without the hydrojet. This saved us a ton of money and effort. Our tech, Jason was very knowledgeable and just an all around nice guy. We are so thankful and will be going back to CME for all our future plumbing issues.

Great service from Craig and Josh. I had my lines jetted by CME 5 months ago. Craig and Josh came out today within 30 mins after my other plumber called them to Jett/unclog my main drain. They were very respectful and kind. Craig helped explain everything to me about any repairs and helped set up a quote if the repair needed to be done. They did a great job and I definitely would call them again if anything needed done. I will refer them to any family and friends. I did not feel that they tried to push repairs or services on me that did not need to be done.

Every other plumber told us we’d need to remove our 100+ year old tree in the front of our house that we have an attachment to. Would’ve cost us hundreds to remove and they quoted us significantly higher than CME. CME came out and immediately found a better solve, allowed us to keep the tree, fixed the entire sewage pipe, gave us advice along the way, and quoted us thousands under the rest. They completed the work extremely fast and communicated clearly what the plan was. We even got videos of before and after. We’re so appreciative for the better solve and for providing quality, honest work.

The team did a very nice job minimizing the disruption while completing the job. I had a major dig in my basement and the impact was very well contained. The project managers and team leaders spent a lot of time with me explaining all aspects of the job and answering my questions. The finished concrete patch in my floor was a little rough but I was able to address that with some additional work prior to relaying my tile.

My sewer pipe broke underneath my driveway and I did not want to remove the slab. I called CME and they sent Jake out. Jake ran a camera down my pipe to determine if they could or not line the pipe and unfortunately the way it broke they could not. Even though they could not do the work. Jake took the time to educate me on how pipe lining works, and how the fix should be handled. Although I went with another company on price, when it comes to customer service and professionalism I highly recommend CME. Jake Swafford came out to my place to examine the issues I was having with some old clay pipe running out to the sewage main which has been causing me some problems for some time. Jake ran an auger and removed some debris and ran a camera to exam the pipe (all part of a free estimate I might add). He was very professional and honest in his assessment on what CME could do to fix the issue. I trust that had I had gone with them as a company the work would have been exemplary.

No homeowner gets excited about having to deal with sewer line issues, but CME made the entire processes as pleasant and painless as possible. From our first visit with Justin who very thoroughly investigated the entire sewer line and explained everything he found, to Derrick and Eric who were our main on-site point people during the relining process, to the entire crew who were professional and courteous, I couldnt have asked for more! When a problem with MSDs part of the sewer line was found, Eric explained exactly what I needed to do to get them out to investigate. Then the team spent a good amount of time with MSD working out what needed to be done to alleviate the problem. THANK YOU for a job well done!!!

Please whatever you do USE THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE AMAZING!!I had sewage back up into my basement. Roto rooter ( do not under any circumstances use them) were the only ones I called that could come out the next day, I was at work, my boyfriend was at home with them while they assessed the situation, when they spoke to me on the phone they told me they finally popped the clog but told me they could not get through tree roots that they didnt recommend hydro jetting that it came with risks they would line the pipe it would be $7,900. I do not have that kind of money so I was hoping for a second opinion, I was recommended by two different people to try CME. First off Jackie and Sarah in the office are so friendly and sweet, they assured me they could help. Alan came out and let me watch him with his camera, found where the tree roots could be getting in at the top of the pipe... but no tree roots in site. He recommended flushing it out in the next few months and yearly check ins to make sure roots were controlled if they were in pipe. He assured me I can use all the water I need when Roto rooter used scare tactics to tell me they couldnt guarantee if I used water that it wouldnt back up in days??Alan was amazing, didnt make me feel stupid for all the questions I asked, he is professional and great at what he does! They have a customer for life!!!

I’m just a renter, so my landlord would have to give his review also, but CME was top notch!!! My main drain has been clogging and they came out with the hydro jet and stopped at each spot between pieces of pipe and cleared out the roots. They hit each spot several times. The plan is to line the pipe next. So I’ll review more then. JOB WELL DONE! Very professional and courteous!!

CME replaced ALL the sewer lines in our house, even going to the main. We asked if they could work longer hours, since we are close to Christmas and they worked until 8 and 10 oclock at night, to finish sooner.The carpet stretchers, also commented on how well CME pulled back the carpet and pads, and did not break the carpet while it was rolled.CME provided us with before and after video of the sewer pipe, which we can give to new owners if we ever decide to sell the house, to show that the sewer is covered for a home built in 1974.CMEs workers are all professional and do great work. Would definitely recommend!

We used CME for, what I will call, a major issue in our warehouse/shop restroom sewer drains. A 60 year building will do that to you. CME came in on their scheduled date and went to town. I now know why this was such an expensive fix. They had a crew of 3-5 guys for almost two full days and they worked their butts off. Between the heat, sweat and fragrant smells, along with truck loads of expensive equipment, the job was completed in a timely and professional manner. We had a very concerned and considerate crew that took care of any questions and showed us a few things along the way. Its nice to see that the guys take pride in the work that they are performing. Hopefully, I never need to use them again (lol), but I will not hesitate to call CME again if any sort of issue like this comes up in the future. Great company.

I kept having a clogged drain line, called roto-reuter (who never showed up in the 5 hour window.) Jolly plumbing showed up, fixed the issue and gave a free camera inspection which they used to try to scare me in to an over priced job.I called CME, they sent Alan to help. He not only was exactly on time, he called 20 minutes before arriving, was very friendly with a big smile on his face and made it clear he wasnt here to scare me or sell me anything I dont need. He had a much higher tech camera and used it to completely explore the 120 feet of pipe from my house to the backyard, going over each part of the pipes, and even clearing a clog in the process. He gave me a reasonable quote on pipe lining and answered all of my questions.I recommend CME not only because I think theyre honest and hardworking, but because many other plumbers use them on jobs those plumbers cant do.

Amazing. The guys cleaned up after themselves the whole time. I was worried my tile would be cracked as another company informed me it would. My tile was never damaged and they even repositioned my clean out to not be so close to tile. So happy I changed from another company to CME. Not only were they cheaper but as a women I felt comfortable and not like I just let creepy strangers in my house.

When Jake came out for the initial inspection, he discovered we did not have a cleanout big enough to accommodate his camera. He put in a cleanout inside the basement, no charge. He was able to get about 75 feet before hitting an obstruction. Unfortunately, it didnt open the blockage. He said since we didnt have an outside cleanout to get to the clog and properly clean the line out, we would need to have a cleanout installed. A crew of two came back 2 days later and was able to solve the problem which was tree roots some 100 ft+ down which high pressure water. Mike made sure all inside drains were cleared as well. We were so glad to be able to get our drainage system back!

Jake did beyond my expectations. First he discovered a clean out under the stairs that was covered with concrete 2 below the surface by tapping a hammer on the cement. Next he got the tree roots cleared, took 3 hours but he knew it could be done. We had 2 other companies try and give up and still charged us. Rotor rooter tried for a while then said they needed to water jet it and that would work but the technician didnt have the experience to do it. Jake cleared the line with the same type of equipment that they had tried. I guess they just didnt want to work harder. The 2nd company came out charged a service call and didnt even try.Jake was joined later with help to get it done.We are extremely happy to have them.Soon after we had a different rental that needed attention on a sewer line, guess who I called first and only. And it was done!!!:)

We are highly impress with Lindsey Jones professional & efficient approach when she managed to organize/arrange for Jastin Beighle & his crew for a site visit of a pipe that was leaking underground on the side of our house. The next appointment was at least a 12 day wait but after learning that we live out of the country & was short on time, Lindsey managed to have the crew dispatched for an inspection within 1/2 hour, if not less. That was highly impressive and true customer service which is a rare scene, of late! Lindsey was very polite and exceptionally helpful from the moment she answered my call. It shows her love for her work and to go the extra mile to assist the customer. CME should we proud to have an employee like Lindsey and I wish there were more people like her. We were very happy with the service and would highly recommend CME Pipe Lining & Sewer Repair as they will work with you or will give you honest recommendation to resolve the issue. CMEs service saved from having to excavate and tear up recently re-surfaced blacktop at our office building. All work was done in a two-foot square area just outside of the basement foundation in less than six hours. A 102-foot main soil drain was re-lined with a brand new joint-free pipe just like regular PVC. Guaranteed for 10 years, but will most likely last as long as brand new PVC piping laid instead. Top notch repair work done by a three-man crew, younger guys who took pride in their workmanship. Saved probably more than half-price if done by regular excavation procedures, and done without any degradation of the existing lawn and pavement from the building to the street. Since they do a visual inspection for free (and provide you with a copy of the video afterward), I would recommend that this inspection be done for any building, residential or commercial, prior to any real property purchase. TIm, Nick and Brent showed up an hour early on the weekend and did a great job!

We’ve known for a while this needed to be done. Our sewer runs under our driveway and we didn’t want to have to dig everything up. Our sewer had several turns that other company’s said couldn’t be lined. Then Jake came out and said while it wouldn’t be easy, they could definitely do it. The price was actually better than I thought it would be and after watching how hard they worked and everything that went into lining the sewer it was down right cheap. CME was very thorough in explaining to us what needed to be done to resolve our issue. They ran into a snag at the end when filling in the hole they had to make in my basement. When filling the hole with dirt, it was unsettled which could cause the concrete to not set evenly. Instead of rushing through the job, they consulted with one another and said they needed to come back the next day. They filled with gravel to ensure the concrete would set evenly. I appreciate when companies take the extra step to make sure the job is completed 100%. In addition, they were all very polite. For as messy of job it was, they protected my surrounding carpet from all the mess. Thank you CME! No more worries of sewage coming up in the basement anymore!

No homeowner wants to deal with a sewer line repair, but if you do, these are the folks to call. We also consulted with a couple highly recommended plumbers before hiring CME. The plumbers were good — they just don’t have the expertise in this area that CME has. In fact, several plumbers AND Metropolitan Sewer District workers mentioned CME to us as the extent of our sewer line issue became clearer.The initial sales person, Jake, who came out to scope the work (at no charge) was excellent. He was very knowledgeable, helpful & didn’t pressure us with a heavy sales pitch. He patiently answered all of our questions.Jackie, the scheduler, was also excellent. Always friendly & always responsive.I can’t say enough about the crew that did the work. They actually seem to enjoy working together. They respected our home & yard. They clearly explained what they were seeing & what they proposed to address the problems. When unexpected conditions arose, they thought quickly on their feet to address them. They provided us with the least disruptive solution to our sewer line problem. They also worked seamlessly with MSD workers who addressed a different portion of the line. Kudos to Derrick, Craig, Justin, Josh & Michael...and to any others I am forgetting (I tried to get everyone’s name)...you are THE BEST during the nightmare that no homeowner wants to experience. We also enjoyed meeting Lindsay who documented the project.

My basement drain backed a couple times and it was minor but concerning. First contractor came out and gave me bad news, sewer line had to be replaced costing 10 to 15 thousand. CME came out and inspected and gave me good news. Line does not need to be replaced, gave me a couple suggestions to improve the flow and suggested getting the line jetted. Dont waste your time with anyone else, just call CME.
