Top-notch service from start to finish. It can be really intimidating to call in a plumber when you need the help! My call was handled courteously, expeditiously, and service terms/appointments were explained fully. Additionally, I was able to ask questions I had and to provide as much meaningful information for the plumber and for me.Jordan came by to help me thaw some pipes and survey my entire house system facuets and was genuinely glad to take a look--taking the mystery of how to keep things going and flowing. I can usually find *some* thing that could be done better/differently, but Im stumped this time. You dont need to shop around when you want plumbing work done: you wont do better.

After trying a few different things to fix a slow draining sink to no avail, I called VanDerBosch. They were able to schedule me at a perfect time and Jordan was right on time. He took the time to explain the issue and quickly resolve the issue. He also spent a few minutes going over a few other plumbing issues in my home and making sure to lower the hot water heater which was apparently set way too high. I appreciate the time Jordan took with us for issues we did not call him on and definitely recommend him and VanDerBosch.

I cant say enough about Van Der Bosch! When other companies couldnt get someone out to help us for over a week, Van Der Bosch was able to send someone right away. The quote was super quick and very reasonable. Jose, our plumber, was extremely knowledgeable. They were even very flexible when we had a problem with our building water shutoff and had to reschedule. Jose went above and beyond and I highly recommend you give them a try!

It took from November 2022 to February 2023 to resolve our boilers water bouncing --loud water knocks---that kept two unit owners from sleeping --- and could be heard EVEN outside of their condo units! Our prior heating/boiler service provider would say they would come out, schedule it and cancel it, re-schedule, and cancel. We contacted 5 other heating-boiler vendors-- respected longtime companies-all A+ ratings on BBB and other sights. None responded in a timely way. ONLY Van Der Bosch came through in these very difficult times. They are on Chicagos northside in Rogers Park/Edgewater a locally owned company.

VanDerBosch was at my condo building to perform work for the association and team lead Jordan was gracious enough to come give me a second opinion on the broken shower handles in our bathroom, and ended up saving us $600 - after taking a look, he suggested that our issue might be simpler to fix than wed been told by a different plumber, and we were able to fix the issue with some new handles that cost me $12.12. I really appreciated their honesty and professionalism in handling this. I would highly recommend working with them for your plumbing needs.

Weve had a few mild emergencies, and the plumbers from VanDerBosch show up when they say they will, are very friendly and will plainly explain your options, then promptly get to work. Not only have I never had a bad experience with them, all of my experiences have been excellent. We consider VanDerBosch our plumber for anything we need.

As a management company, it is hard to find an honest, hardworking contractor who returns your calls, comes through in an emergency and drops everything to help you. This is Van Der Bosch. They come on time, they get to the root of the problem (they dont just band-aid problems) and they are pleasant to work with even when standing in knee deep sewer water. Highly recommend them.

Have called them before to look at things, and not been charged unless there is an issue (as opposed to larger companies that do a Trip Charge).This time we needed to replace some parts on our toilet. They came out within 24 hours, and fixed it next day for a reasonable price. Our guy even helped educate us on how we can potentially fix it ourselves in the future. I had some water leakage problems on a toilet in my Rogers Park Condo. Im not home often and my roommate didnt know what to do. I contacted VanDerBosch as they had done a fantastic job for my partners home a few months back in Andersonville with fixing (2) sink leaks and replacement of some faucets all done at a reasonable price and relatively quick amount of time. Upon calling VanDerBosch, Lauren helped get me scheduled for a tech to come out within a couple hours. Upon arriving at my home, Joe, my technician, was able to figure out what the problem was and called me to explain what was happening and gave me a free quote on the spot. Since it was a minor fix and we had a temporary answer to our water leak problems, I chose not to have them do the work as I can do it myself but I know that I have a trusted guy that I can call on for any future problems. I feel confident in referring this plumbing company to others since I had a good experience and I have seen completion work performed at my partners home and the tech was polite, low pressure and the area was left clean. We live Skokie and I have used this company twice. I just wanted to write and say this company is the best! They just left our house after replacing a pipe by the water meter. Not only were the two plumbers kind and respectful - they were hard working, clean and thorough. When this house was built, it appears they did not add an extra close valve and they did that today. Not only did they correct the problem, they did not charge us extra. What they quoted us at the initial consultation is what we paid today. I would like to acknowledge outstanding service and work ethic. I placed a call to Vanderbosch for a boiler inspection and cleaning for a 9 unit Condo in Chicago. I was sent John C. who came out about 4 days later. When our condo president and I met him, we were impressed by his professionalism and politeness. He explained our options and went into detail as to how they would reflect on the safety of our building as well as efficiency of our boiler. Our boiler had been neglected and took him all day to take apart and clean. Even though our building has the original boiler, someone might have hesitated to trust anyone to take it apart to clean. However John C. took pictures of all the original settings, documented them so that he would return the unit to its original running settings. During this tedious and messy process he consulted with Hugh Hodur (the owner) many times only to find out that the settings were not correct for optimal efficiency. During this process he answered many of my questions and patiently explained many scenarios. Also he discovered a relay switch which will be replaced this Friday that could have shut down our boiler at any minute with out notice due to corroded wires. This company converted my in floor radiant heat to above ground 15 years ago. They were great back than but after yesterday, they have me as a customer for life, regardless of where I live in their service area. Outstanding and ethical. Thank you John C. And Hugh Hodur. I can not thank you enough for your honesty and integrity.

I cant thank John and Andrew for their excellent work. Our boiler needed to have a pipe replaced and other work. John and Andrew came on time and completely dismantled the boiler. They explained what they were doing and the thoroughly cleaned, replaced and restored everything back to working order. Along the way they explained what they were doing and why and they were very thorough. They cleaned up the area after their work and then some, the area looked much better than when they came in. The informatioin they provided was invaluable. I cant wait to have them back this Fall to start up the boiler for the coming year. They are the best. Professional. Our heating and cooling company recommended Vanderbosch when we had an emergency on a Sunday morning. This was the only company (the company we usually use did not return our call in addition to other larger local companies) who returned my call and talked us through how to immediately stop the retainer tank leak, which was spraying water. A few days later someone came out to service it and explained everything about the hot water tank to us and gave us options. They were reliable and on schedule.
