I highly recommend this service. Jim responded to my service inquiry very promptly when my water heater was having issues when other companies did not. He was very patient and available as we communicated by text to diagnose the issue the night before the appointment and settled on a price for repair, which was a highly efficient process in my opinion. So on the day of the appointment, there were no surprises. He arrived on time and finished the repair within the time that he said it would take. I can finally take a hot shower again!

Best experience ever !!!!! I woke up to NO hot water... I called many places to get quotes on hot water heater replacements, most didnt want to give me a quote over the phone. Hot Water Heater Repair (HWHR) first of all answered the phone and did not put me through messaging service. Jim, the person I talked to knew his domain, he was a great communicator and asked the right questions and walked me through turning off the water and gas to the leaking hot water unit to avoid further damage until it got repaired! I got a quote over the phone and within 2 1/2 hrs, the repair was underway! Unbelievable positive experience and did I mention the price, great price and great service! I recommend 100%.

Jims service was nothing short of amazing! My water heater/tank had been out for over a week and I had just become overwhelmed with finding a reasonable solution. I came across HWHRC and started communication with Jim at 1:37 P.M, I sent him a few pictures and he knew exactly what I needed. He said it would take him an hour to get to me and ended ringing the doorbell 20 minutes early(3:10 P.M) he started immediately and was FINISHED by (3:58 P.M) including removal of the old tank! I have nothing but good things to say about HWHR Chicago. My water heater unexpectedly starting making horrific noises on a weekend in the middle of the night. I called HWHR the very next morning. Jim was lightning fast in responding to me. Not even two days later, Jim and team were able to come out and replace my heater before something went wrong. Outside of excellent communication, Jim answered all my questions and addressed all of my concerns. Furthermore, as a condo building resident, Jim was respectful of all HOA rules and kept common areas clean/undamaged when moving tools and the old heater out of the building. I reached out to HWHR around 7 pm when my pilot light on my water heater would not relight. They answered right away, I sent pictures and they informed me they could be by the next day around noon. After being forewarned by them other companies would not be able to service my heater that evening, I made the poor decision to call another company that was able to come that night who only made my problem worse (shut my water off and told me it would be 2 more days till they could repair it) I texted HWHR back, that evening, informed them of my poor experience with their competitor, they called the manufacturer of my unit right as they opened the following morning, secured the part and fixed my pilot light all that following day. Great company, honest, reliable and prompt in what they do. Highly recommend.

We had the most wonderful experience with Jim and I can now see why he has so many stellar reviews. Last week our 20-year old boiler started making noise. We got it inspected from our company. They told that the boiler is leaking and should be replaced but were reluctant to do so due to the tight space along with furnace. Another highly-rated plumber was also reluctant, wanted us to get electricians do some work before they come. Jim, on the other hand, asked us to text pictures, understood the situation immediately, and gave a written quote in minutes. He accommodated my travel schedule. Jim provided excellent customer service! He responded the same day I requested a quote to have my water heater repaired. I sent him pictures of my water heater he requested, and Jim walked me through what he was look at and how he arrived at what the problem was mostly likely was based on his experience. He gave me honest flexible price options for a repair and for a replacement and did not try to sell me something I did not ask for. He replaced my water heater the next day and removed my old one. He was timely, polite, and gave me updates of his installation progress every step of the way. I will definitely use his services again if needed.

Incredible service! Cannot recommend these guys enough. Jim called me almost immediately to help me troubleshoot over the phone. when that didnt work out, he sent his guy over to replace our exhaust motor. Turns out, we had an unwelcome critter living in our exhaust motor and chewing it all up. Jim and John made quick work of it all and replaced the motor in about an hour. These guys are amazing and well be giving them a call whenever we need work done.

Our basement flooded this Saturday after the tremendous rain Chicago experienced. I tried restarting the two hot water heaters in our basement and had no luck. I called and spoke briefly to someone who basically said you dont need me to do a house call and here is what you do. It took a day for the heaters to dry out but following his advice they did finally re-ignite. Im sure they were slammed with work following the our rainstorms but it was super nice of them to give out free instructions to someone over the phone.

After we called due to the smell of gas, Peoples Gas detected some leaking valves, and shut off our gas. Jim had someone out within a few hours to replace the valves and we were able to use heat and had hot water the same day, for which we were grateful! He had previously fixed a defective vent for our water heater—another problem PG had identified after another plumber had not installed it correctly.

After waiting to speak with the manufacturer of the water hear for over 30 minutes. I called HWHRC from another phone and they helped me install a replacement sensor over the phone. We finished before the manufacture ever answered.
