There is no sewer company better than Madden. We have used them for years and they are as great now as they were back then. Their prices are fair and better yet they solve the problem. Recently had a big back up in the basement of a building I own. They came out right away. Diagnosed the issue , gave me a quote and started the next day. The blockage was large and heavy over 6 feet in length. They replaced the pipe, poured more concrete and cleaned up. 2 day job In and out. I cant say enough great things about this company.

Kevin & Sean from Madden Sewer did a wonderful service at my house. Had to have our catch basin rebuilt. First they explained to us the reason for the basin. Other contractors just wanted to do away with it but gave no reason except it was easier for them. It took their crew 4 days to complete the job, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. Madden Sewer and Drain provided excellent service on two separate occasions recently, one for an electric rodding of kitchen sink line, and installation of new elements for kitchen sink. They arrived as scheduled, and also when they encountered as issue with reassembly, they made sure to address properly by looking to source the proper parts instead of using alternative/less effective methods. Though I no one wants to encounter plumbing issues, I am very confident that I will utilize their services again if necessary.

I hired Madden Sewer as result of the flooding that impacted my neighborhood July 2023. I had over 30 inches of water throughout my 1300 sq ft basement. Thats a lot of water. I am very happy with the service and final results of the work they did, which involved putting in sewer check valves and 2 pumps. While I am not 100% sure how effective it will be, this option is better, cheaper and less disruptive than converting to an overhead sewer when you have a finished basement with a bathroom. I think I am ready for the next big and hard rain.

I recently had a major repair done on my main sewer line, which required extensive digging both in my front yard and into my basement bathroom floor. Given that I had just completed a gut rehab six years ago, I was extremely worried about the potential damage. The plumbing team exceeded my expectations. They worked quickly, kept me informed at every step, and minimized damage to the bathroom floor. They also contained the dust effectively and cleaned up thoroughly. A few years ago we had a flood control system installed. The workmen were very professional, efficient, respectful, and did a fabulous job in installing what was needed and in cleaning up. We have yearly maintenance to make sure all is working as it should. The guys are always on time, do a very thorough job, and leave everything just as they found it. We are very satisfied with Madden, and we recommend them to anyone in need of the kind of work they do.Update to post: We just had our yearly maintenance done in late August. This is year 9 since the flood control was installed. The maintenance involves greasing the gate, ensuring the sump pump is operating property, and rodding the sewer line. I called this morning and wasnt getting in until the next day. I asked if there was any possibility if I could be put in as standby for today due to the back up severity. Madden Sewer called back a couple of hours later to let me know they could accommodate us. The specialist called when he was on his way. When is the last time you called a company after the service to let them know what great customer service they have!!!!! Havent had a customer experience like this in a long time!

I had a blockage in my sewer line near the curb. MADDEN RESPONDED THAT DAY, used their camera, and rodded the line. The rod went in 85 feet but could not get through the blockage. They told me that because the blockage was on city property the city would do for free. They quickly contacted the city, got the permit, and got them to respond the next day. This saved me $15,000.Thank you Madden Sewer.

Replacement of a sump pump. 20 year old sump pump that didnt really need to be replaced but...20 years old. Thatll satisfy any prospective buyer, for sure. Nicely sealed up, with no sewer gas smell leaking out. Working just fine. $875.One small gripe: they need to make sure they have at least one worker who is completely fluent in English: its not right that I had to figure out which words to use in order to get my questions understood. I dont expect the whole crew to speak English, but this was more difficult than it should have been, because of the language barrier.

Madden cut through the tree roots that were blocking the flow from our pipes to the citys main sewer line. We also paid extra to have them go through the pipes with a camera attachment. This way they were able to show us that the roots were cleared and also that the pipe lines were still in good condition and not in need of repair or replacement. A different company had come out the previous year and told us our pipes were in bad shape and should be dug out and replaced... to the tune of over $5,000. It always pays to get a second opinion when someone tells you its going to cost you big bucks. We were very happy with the plumbers from Madden. They were thorough, honest, explained what they were doing and got the roots cleared in less than a half-hour.In addition, on the administrative end, we were given a flat rate quote for the job, not a huge range depending on how long the workers were on site and what problems may come up. Weve learned the hard way to avoid companies that wont give you a price up front for a straight forward job. The office called when the workers were on the way and followed up with us afterwards to make sure we were happy with the work. We were!

Glad I did after having a plumbing disaster coming from a backed up pipe from both toilets that then started leaking through into the basement as well. They came out an gave me a fair estimate and stuck with it without adding extra this and that. They cleaned out the pipes after several attempts and finally cleared out 50 years of rust and debris in the huge pipes that lead to the sewge. What a relief that I didnt have to replace anything else that could have costed thousands plus opening up walls and ceiling. Excellent company would recommend to anyone needing work done.

I recently contacted Madden to evaluate the scope for removal of my residential grease trap. They were on site the same day to evaluate the job and give me a quote. I accepted the quote right away and was given a repair time frame that was to far out for my comfort since I was unable to use my kitchen sink. They understood and moved some things around and were able to get to me the following day! Talk about a customer centric company!! I asked that the job be estimated on the high side and I was pleasantly surprised when the total was lower than I was even expecting.Madden Sewer & Drain was awesome to work with. The office staff was understanding and helpful and the plumber on site was super professional, quick and worked very cleanly. I would highly recommend Madden for your plumbing needs.

Madden installed a flood control system for our 1896 built home. With all the new construction around us, our basement was flooding three times a year. The system was installed in 2015 and we havent flooded since. Madden uses quality parts, not plastic. During installation they were professional, respectful of us and our property, and they cleaned up really well when they were done. They worked incredibly hard in 95 degree heat, and they did a wonderful job! We have an annual inspection of the flood control system which includes rodding of our main line. This was done just recently, and as usual, the guys were on time and worked quickly. I have recommended Madden, and I continue to do so. They are good!

We called Madden because of a sewage backup in our basement bath. They managed to get out quickly, even during a busy time. Fixing the issue could have required a number of expensive things, such replacing the ejector pump. But Madden simply rodded the lines, cleared the backup, and cleaned off the pump / switch which solved the problem. Its great to work with honest contractors who do just whats needed and dont try and sell you more than you need. Thanks, Madden!

I hired Madden sewage and drainage to find a leak in my vent pipes/sewer stack. I was getting bad smell and knew I had taken all the precautions that should prevent this. They came out and did a smoke test to find the problem, and sure enough they found an uncapped/open sewer pipe in the crawl space of my home which they fixed. Its been a couple of weeks and I have had no issues with the smell again. If you have an issue like this I would definitely recommend them.
