Always pleased with the work Edwin does. Today is the second time I’ve called him to help me out. Once was a clog issue a year ago. No problems since. With a house full of guests and family during a busy Thanksgiving weekend, my wife and I had both of our showers/tubs go out of commission. Based on the good reviews we called Edwin. He clearly and frequently communicated arrival time, showed up a couple short hours later, quickly found and fixed the problem, gave sound advice, and was more than fair. Absolutely will be calling him should any issues arise in the future. Amazing service!

Edwin has been one of the most professional, capable, kind and honest service contractors we’ve used since becoming homeowners! If you are looking for a competent and honest plumber, look no further. Edwin came to my house today to solve a big problem wed been having, and he was excellent. In this case, excellent means:1. He diagnosed and completely solved our issue, avoiding us having to spend thousands to tear up our floor.2. The prices he quoted me (before he started working) were more than fair. He did a LOT of work, and spent a lot of time at our property. I feel absolutely fine with every penny we spent.3. He was the third plumber to come to our house about this issue. The first was Baethke (I would suggest avoiding them at all costs, theyll charge you at least 3x what they should). The second is another reliable plumber who has done great work for us in the past, but didnt have the necessary tools to finish the job. He recommended Edwin to us to take the job to the finish line. Edwin did the rest of the work, and we couldnt be happier with how it turned out.4. Edwin could have told me that more work was necessary, and I would have absolutely believed him. Its very clear that he is not trying to extract every dollar he can out of you. My strong impression was that he just wants to do a good job, and fix your plumbing problems.Edwin, thank you again for your help. Edwin replaced a whole-house water filter and two faucets. He was extremely responsive when we initially called, and even came by the same day to give us an estimate for the work. He came the following week to do the work and showed up on time - he even called to tell us he was on his way. It seemed like he did everything the way he would in his own home. He was careful and diligent. One of the faucets he replaced was old and corroded and was difficult to remove but he did a beautiful job with everything. Were extremely please with his work. Hes also a very nice person. We will definitely call him for any future plumbing needs.

Chicagoland Quality Plumbing Inc Informed me after feeding a camera down my main sewer that my main line from my house and the sewer line from the city had separated causing sewage back up into my home. Edwin unclogged my sewer line and recommend adding a sewer clean out on the outside of my home. A drain in my basement was draining slowly and the p-trap of the drain appeared to be broken. I called the plumber in to dig up the floor around the drain and put in a new pipe with a p-trap. They dug up the pipe and found some problems with the connection to the sewer. They had to do more extensive repairs than first suspected. They completed the job in a day and a half and the price came in higher than the estimate but about what I expected given the additional work. The basement floor was restored with a layer of concrete around the new drain cover.

Edwin is a wonderful plumber, we are so lucky to have found him! He is responsive to service requests and after working with him for two years he knows our house very well. He will always help remind us how to shut off the water when the temps start to get below freezing and has even offered to help walk us through simple fixes when he can’t come out right away. We’ve had various plumbing issues in our building over the years and tried a few different plumbing companies. When the main water line coming in to our building sprung a leak, we weren’t able get any of the plumbing companies that we had used before to come out fast enough. That’s when we found Edwin at Chicagoland Quality Plumbing. After Edwin fixed our leak, I started talking with him about some of the other plumbing issues in our old building and in my unit. Coincidentally, my unit on the ground floor was just starting to be rehabbed, and the contractor couldn’t find a plumber. I asked Edwin if he was interested in the work and he was. That started an 8 month project where he repaired and improved our main sewer and sanitation lines, added an outdoor hose spigot, did the rough ins for my bathroom remodels, removed and replaced a bathtub, water heater, 2 toilets, garbage disposal, and all faucets and fixtures. I found Edwin to be very responsive and professional, and the work he did was good quality, just like the name of his business. He stands behind his work and charged a fair price. I would highly recommend him.

We had a really unique situation where our kitchen sink disposal was backing up into our guest shower—talk about gross. Edwin handled it very professionally. We have been using Chicagoland Quality Plumbing services for approximately four years and found him through our Angies List membership. We own 3 rental properties and Edwin has repaired leaks, installed dishwashers and water lines(for both kitchen sinks and washer units), replaced toilet wax rings and unclogged drains over the past four years for us. The service that we indicated as not listed is definitely worth mentioning as it turned out to be a big job. We called Edwin because we noticed a leak coming from our basement ceiling. Upon his inspection he not only told us that he suspected the main drain line in our 3 story building was leaking. He provided us with a plan for the best way to pinpoint where the drain was leaking behind the 3 apartment walls and once it was located how he would make the repair. Long story short, with Edwins experience, where he ended up opening the kitchen wall turned out was within 3 feet of the eroded main drain line. Edwin and Roberto removed a section of 100 year old drain pipe and then replaced it. What Edwin charged us for this two day, two man job was reasonable. His work is top notch and we always find that his prices are very reasonable thats why we always call Edwin and we hope that he is not planning on retiring any time soon :)

This is an excelent plumber, i initially hired someone else who could not get the job done. I found Chicagoland Plumbing through recommendation within the industry. Edwin went above and beyond working for 6 hours to clear a clog in what turned out to be a bad connection at our second floor unit in a typical greystone. Its been working well ever sense and we will be following all maintenance recommendations. All and all, he was smart, found the issue, got it fixed, very clean, and did not charge any extra for the unexpected durration of the work needed. He is my forever chicago plumber.
